I need help.., There is a column or pillar in front of my work desk space right next to my cubicle wall at work. When I sit down, my desk is in front of me and then the cubicle wall panel and after the panel is the column or pillar that I could see that goes up to the ceiling. Is there anything you could recommend that I could hang on the wall in my cubicle or on the column to block or cure this poison arrow or bad chi?

1. Further to what I had mentioned, even the country with one of the largest population and the country where all Chinese come from celebrates Chinese New Year from 14 Febto 16 Feb: TheSpring Festival. http://www.worldtravelguide.net/country/58/public_holidays/Far-East-Asia/China.html 2. From the above link, the mother of all Chinese culture also uses purely the Lunar calendar and not Xia (Hsia - seasonal) calendar. 4 February 2010 is no where to be found although it is Xia calendar's Start of Spring. 3. In fact, Taiwan, which has the largest pool of Chinese outside of China does not even consider 4th February anywhere in their calendar as a holiday. Taiwan has the lo…

1. Please do a search for "Fish Tank" to find out what was it's original purpose ... e.g. outside a window... a tree trunk or lamp post.. 2. You wrote: "From what you have said (please correct me if I am wrong) I can place an aquarium in this location without any worries of activating the MS3 ? If the MS3 is of concern how can I remedy the situation so everything would be more favorable?" 2.1. Please re-read what I wrote. 2.1.1 All my points refers to: A. Either a pool or pond. (Nothing mentioned about aquarium.) B. Refer to Para 7. which I had written under my first reply.

Hi there, am a semi intermediate feng shui experimenter myself and though i may not be a 'Master' , such as Cecil, I might be of some help. I've watched quite a few feng shui videos and tried quite a few things. Cecil is quite right in saying that the BTB Feng shui is absolute rubbish (N = career, etc). I tried it for a year and it made me quite ill and ruined my life (in a nutshell). If you want help rectifying your fame and reputation, Your bathroom is considered to be where the reputation is. Make sure that is clean and looks good. remove plants and make sure it has generally good feng shui, (no feng shui trinkets however as these backfire, in my personal experience) (…

Dear Fiona, 1. For situation for pearl string and parent string or whatever, it is always best to match the layout to the flying star chart. For example, key numbers like #8 mountain and water should be in an appropriate sector. Therefore, ideally as many sectors can be activated for the pearl string to benefit from it. This is where hopefully, good sectors are not locked at toilets / storeroom etc. Thus, this kind of charts must specifically be located at the rooms most beneficial. The saying goes " a miss is as good as a mile " 2. You will still have to cure the star 2, 5 etc. The difference is that the pearl string combination is all about enhancement but this does no…

Dear Anon, As requested please find three favourable situations of bedrooms with windows on various sides of the room (no attached bathrooms) Please wait, file loading...File size = 16.7K All three layout plans: A, B and C are favourable. In the event that the bed faces a toilet door, one can place a side table with a table lamp to act as a `screen' or barrier between the toilet door and the bed.

As per my last msg; the centrepoint that you had drawn is pretty close to what I had drawn. And the arrow from bedroom 2 seems to be the correct direction of the facing direction. For the rest, you have to work it out yourself.

Wow I'm glad Kevin has added on to my thread, I'm learning a lot more. So even if the verdict is that it's a lesser devil to place the main door at S1, there's is no harm to have a water feature on SW to activate the indirect spirit right? My reason is - if calamity is going to fall on you anyway, you might aswell have somefinancial luck to cushion the bad luck coming. What do you think Master? Regards.

The altar facing is similar in nature to the stove. Thus, you should instead be standing at A facing X as the direction. As to the NE or SW, best that the altar is not located at the NE or SW sector of the home; where possible.

Dear Jen, Yes, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, the preferred locations are shown in the attachment. In my opinion, it is still acceptable at West/SW/NW. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ber, In general, it is OK to plant a few pot of plants. For plants that flower, after you place the plant do " monitor " the plant to see if it flowers. If it does, generally, this is auspicious. Potted plants are quite safe:- 1. If you do not have many but a few e.g. two or three is acceptable. 2. In a pot, they cannot grow `wildy' or grow too large. This is good. 3. Bamboo plants are acceptable also. Again in a very general sense, if you have a few pot of plants placed moderately, this is OK. 4. Do not plant them directly `cutting' the main entrance door is fine. Placing them around the house is OK. At the West, avoid large trees or untrimmed tree…

I would rather not change the color. I like the dramatic effect it has on the room. So far I have done two things; I changed the painting above the mantel to one with boats on a lake with mainly blue tones and touches of yellow, and I put a plant that trails from the mantel to the floor in a blue pot. My money situation neutralized immediately. I was considering putting a mirror above the mantel and a piece of brass at the top of the opening to keep smoke from pouring into the room (a problem I've had in the past). These are strictly esthetic changes. I would like my money situation to improve even more. Any other suggestions?

One thing is for SURE! Reflections at Keppel don't look anything close to this illustration RIGHT? Anyway, who cares! I repeat: Tower Blocks even if they look like S-H-I-T; ain't SHIT! At least they are better than most other non-tower block type of homes... Get it? Got it?

Dear Chee Kheong, It is a strong consideration to move the stove. Since we are just going by description, it is good for you to see the feasibility of this inconsideration with: 1. in the new position, where best the stove does not face the toilet bowl or basin 2. hopefully the new position does not clash with the wash basin or 3. is there a secure solid wall behind the stove 4. how about windy days? Does the postion allow fire to "move-around" or forced-out of the front ... which may cause hurt to the body etc... The above are also some of the considerations before implementing any change. I can only think of the above for now. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In my opinion, there are know circumstances where digging works were outside of the house but at the specific Five Yellow sector in that year. There were some instances where it had also affected the health of the people staying in that house even if the digging was done 100 metres away. I personally feel that best always to be more on the cautious or conservative side. If one is damn unlucky then, there is no reverse on this. Furthermore, around 7 to 8 weeks more; five yellow will go to South-East and Grand Duke will go to east-south-east at 120 degrees...

Hi, Feng Shui is a wide topic, with many different western translators providing many different terms for a same topic. I believe if you are referring to balance, it should be more towards the Five Elements or at least Yin or Yang. Basically, for Five Elements, when you have one of each of the five elements you are supposed to be in a stated of balance which is "neutral". Five Element is very special, on the under the production principle:- Production Metal -> Water -> Wood -> Fire -> Earth -> Metal At the same time, when you have all Five Elements the destruction principle:- Metal -> Wood -> Earth -> Water -> Fire -> Metal It is a very speci…

Given that both #28 and #29 are similiar; one should try to "map out" which is a better interior in-terms, as you had mentioned for the East Group persons. At the same time, try to check that NW is not at the kitchen or (if possible not at the toilet or a missing corner). Quote: Is the stack on the right (eg stack 29) better than left (eg stack 28) on the same blockfor a east group person so that the bedroom can face SE instead of NW. But that would mean that the main door would be in the "opposite" sector.
