Dear Boris, Based on your description, placing mortar would most likely not considered " major " as the structure of the house has been completed earlier. If you are doing a Flying Star chart, it is best to prepare two reports and see which is more accurate. Most likely your house fits Period 6 Chart than Period 7. Dear Anon, So long as one is not staying or spending time below a beam, this is OK. As there is no `suppression' of Qi e.g. on a person's head. I am glad that you have clarified that it is a wooden beam. For a wooden beam, if one spents time below: the remedy is to place 6 coins on the beam i.e. stick on it. Dear David, Yes, you are a Strong Fire. So you need to have more Earth. Colours is the best way you can apply the five element to your life because cloths which cover more than 33.3% of your body, as well as any object is thus the best choice for applying feng shui. Dear Liau Yuan, Further to what I had mentioned; that the Heaven Map is just a static snapshot of what was "given luck". Please check out the "Holy Trinity of Luck". This is where, besides: education, philantropy and experience with external interations - most of this "escape clause comes under the Man or human luck factors; Another "escape clause" of our Heaven luck is our earth luck. In fact all the analysis in the paid report is applied to the free report, just that we do not show it. Dear James, Yes, most of the time, the answers can be quite subjective depending on the way one argues the case. If we are writing a text book for school children, then this is considered as "wood" or growth. Since it can help the child grow (his mind).
