A. In my opinion; these are some of the considerations regarding the use of Flying Star: 1. Macro Feng Shui: 1.1 If the entire property needs to place a water position or landscaping works; then drawing a full Flying Star chart of the combined TWO dwellings into one. 2. Micro Feng Shui: 2.1 If you want to map out your interior layout plan; it is more practical to apply it say to your specific dwelling instead of the combined TWO dwellings. The rationale is simple: if you use the combined TWO dwellings; then half the compass areas are no longer within your zone. Thus one may end up with only half the areas like: North, East and SE sectors... While West, NW, SW could belong to the other half of the dwelling. How does one reconcile these sectors. Furthermore, these sectors are out-of one's domain or control. 2.2 For a Flying Star chart or even Eight House chart; one can even draw a chart based on a small room e.g. one's bedroom - if one want's to. 2.3 In many complexes (office complex or factory complex) e.g. a complex has many units within it. These units are "carved" out from a single complex. Thus in a complex; there may be 100 units. If a geomancer was tasked to do a reading for a specific unit; he would plot the chart for that specific unit. Much like your TWO dwellings split into two type of situation. Hope that helps.

Frankly, as explained; in my previous message. One has to be realistic... I don't get to see your layout nor working.. and I have already shared the "best practise" technique.(In addition; it is implied that the compass readings and even the flying star chart = is correct).

These are some considerations: 1. In my opinion; many practising geomancers would prefer to use the "Pie-chart" method. 2. While many book authors would prefer to illustrate using the9 grids or called by whatever other terms. 3. Flying star is about Qi or (wind). Thus, for me; I would use the Pie-chart and see which openings fall closer to a true compass bearing. 3.1 For example; the balcony windows run across say NE sector. While a solid wall is behind East. 3.2 Thus, I would consider the qi coming into that sector as being stronger for NE. Thus, I may/might consider that sector being more greatly influenced by NE than East. 4. There is no straightforward answer in every layout plan: after plotting each layout plan and mapped againstsaya "pie-chart"; if it is myself; I would eyeball each area to see which qi could/should be or have the strongest influence.

One can read more about time zone concerns; here: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= For information: Singapore's Time is exactly similar to China, Beijing's Time.

Ponder over this: MALE, HOUSEMAKER; WIFE = SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PERSON OR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL IN HER CAREER If your home has TWO stoves in a similar situation; take extra care! Your partner (spouse) may instead be the one to have HER - LOVER! Hahahaha! Think about it! Flower of Romance, can/may/could be REVERSED!

Further to what I had mentioned; 1. The Chinese "system" of classifying luck into three areas: Heaven Luck (born with); Earth Luck (Feng Shui) and Human or Man Luck factors is in my opinion a far more complete system than say the Western astrology method. 2. In addition; each one of the three classifications do include exception clauses. 3. For example: this thing called Heaven Luck or born with (Ba zi report) 3.1. Two persons born on the same day; same time: someone living say Singapore. While another may live in North Korea. 3.2. The Ba zi has many escape clauses. And one of them is simply one's education. One's surrounding i.e. immediate family; Other factors include: experiences, philantropy and many other factors. 3.3. Thus the ba zi is called a "SNAP-SHOT" of one's Heaven luck subjected to many escape clauses. Some of them as mentioned under Para 3.2 (above). 4. The Five Elements Concept: This is one of the lowest common denominator. And it's very useful purpose is to allow some of the different modules of different categories to "click". 5. What I meant by the above? 6. The lowest common denominator of Ba zi is the Five Elements concept. (This concept is under Heaven Luck). 7. Under Earth Luck: Flying Star Feng Shui's lowest common denominator is also based on the Five Elements concept. 8. Even two different concepts under two different categories can be placed "side-by-side" giving a bigger map or picture of the entire situation. 9. Thus, think carefully; this is just a sample of the Holistic Approach to the Chinese Geomancy system. 10. I am sure that the western astrology would equally share the same "plight" as Para 3.2 above! For example; some people's life has totally changed e.g. by the death of their breadwinner. Both persons born same day and time. One lost his parent(s) early. While another had a fruitful life having the "nuturing and protection" of thier parents. 11. This is why; TODAY, one see's so many people around the world being facinated by everything Chinese. 12. In the past, many Chinese geomancers call their company " So and so Geomancy Company". They don't just call it Feng Shui Pte Ltd etc.. 13. The Chinese Geomancy is said to be from BIRTH TO DEATH! When a Chinese child is/was born; parents go to a geomancer like myself to select a name for their child. And in between we have ba zi; home analysis and even in the past the selection of burial plots; best facing direction of the tomb etc.. 14. For example, this is why, I use the name "GEOMANCY.net". As this properly reflects the spectrum of everything Chinese system. 15. This is the main reason why things like Feng Shui is so popular today! 16. In the past, I remember for everyChinese Geomancy services; there is always an Indian Astrologer.Nowadays..the tide has turned... guesswhich is more popular.

Uncommon to find a pair of elephant figurines at establishments in Singapore. Elephants are revered in both India and Thailand. This Elephant seems oriental as the body of the elephant has the carvings of the five claw dragon.

This pole is found at the Windermere condominium at Choa Chu Kang... There are some gramma errors; but nevermind.. commonsense says that it is so easy to use! No need these instructions:- SAFETY TELESCOPIC RESCUE POLE-EXTENDABLE PLEASE USE ACCORDINGLY AS FOLLOWS:- 1) GRIP HOLD OF ONE END OF POLE WITH THE HOOP AT THE OTHER END 2) EXTEND OUT ALL THE WAY TO "VICTIM"..... Maybe, perhaps; by the time one reads this instruction; the drowning person would literally have died!

1. Under Commonsense Feng Shui and even Symbolism in Feng Shui; any dining table should preferably have even number of legs e.g. 4 legs. 2. It is best to avoid buying any dining table with odd number of legs e.g. 1 or 3 legs. 3. In addition; all dining chairs or stools should be even in number. (Exception of baby chairs).

1. Please note that the Chinese system is based on the "Holy Trinity" of luck: 1.1 What you mentioned below is only part of it called "born with" and is analysed via Ba zi. 1.2 Your home and office (if any) which is analysed via Feng Shui 1.3. Human or man luck factors. 2. Please take note that Chinese Geomancy actually covers more. For example; face reading, palm reading etc... 3. Thus just "blindly" looking at just one's "born with portition" and not looking also at Para 1.2 above is like not doing a proper "Triage" of sorts. 4. For example:again; what you wrote is equivalent of some outdatedtechnology: e.g. taking anx-ray. 5. However, the Chinese system especially under Para 1.1with 1.2 is in a sense equivalent to an MRI scanning.

In my opinion; the think-tank or mastermind leading the entire opposition is this party:- http://www.yoursdp.org Their combined academic qualifications is like Wow ! Wow ! Many of their speeches are as good as academic thesis of the highest degree. No wonder; many of it's members are Doctors! Not the medical kind but in other fields! Many now realise that Dr Chee Soon Juan... may in the future be associated as the person who forever changed the landscape of Singapore Democracy! Thus, MM Lee Kuan Yew; is the founding father of Singapore; BUT Dr Chee would forever be known as the father of TRUE Democracy! Majulah Singapura!

These are some considerations:- 1. Based on this year's Flying Star Chart:- 2011 Flying Star Forecast North 8 3 1 9 7 5 4 2 6 South Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at South Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at East Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North Education/Romance Star this year is at South-West Grand Duke this year is East, 90 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is West. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. 2. Yes, the annual star #3 is at the frontage of your apartment. And #3 = bad wood element. 3. Thus, can understand why; caution: if one wants to activate a water position at the frontage. 3.1. This is because; under the Five elements concept: Water supports or FUEL'swood. Thus may inadvertently inflame it. (Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net - The productive cycle) 3.2.Other considerations include the qi"coming" from the frontage is "contaminated" by the #3. In additionto the double #7's =loss of luck ("theft ofluck-opportunities). 3.3. Thus, if you really, really want to activate a water position; one has to apply all the Five Elements in this water position. Please read this article in detail: http://fountain.geomancy.netunder Para 2 to 2.12 4. So long as there is a "proper balance of the five elements in a water position"; then it is a"continous flow".But water position isnot the "yin water" that you had mentioned. 5. Contrary to the "yin water"; unfortunately; this is the frontage. If not; another concept may be applied or could be: that of closing thewindows of e.g. a certain part of the home. But; please don't take my words here seriously for the "living room" area as it is like the devil and the deep blue sea. If one does not open the windows or any other openings in a living room (without e.g. aircon); this can be very stuffy for the home! 6.Although it is easier said than done; yin water can be in the form of"water element colours" e.g. blue (the most"yang" of thewater element vs black or grey which still belongs to the water element) 7. It is a pity that most likely your #8'smay/could be wasted at the back of the home. For example: mountain star at the back of the home. And the water wealth star is at the SW of the home. For somenewer apartments; this mayor could be the "missing corner" of the home. 8. For some homes thatis cluttered; make sure that the South and SW is kept "clean" and tidy. And if there aredustbins; make suretry not toplace it at these sectors. 9.If there arewindows at the South(if this is a hdb; most likely the kitchen area) ; and ifthere are windows around this area; make this place airy. 10. If the main entrance door is at the "South side"; if at home; could consider leaving it say partially opened (and secure one's grille gate). The technique is about allowing good qi to flow into the home. Other areas one may or could explore include: 11. Matching the flying star chart to all sectors and try to do correction(s) or enhancements if any. If you are DIY; then you have to really "work hard or find out more". 12. If there is a wall at the back or next to the door; one may activate a mountain star (solid object with mass). Not sure what is at the SW - this is the "water wealth sector" from now to 2023. The above are some of the considerations; there can be more...

In my opinion; these are some of the most inspirational speeches in the SGP 2011 election http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6JtcwqrtuU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynusdPyINu8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWGls7G6xFI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbcS-boTbf0

WARNING OR ACTUNG! If you are a female; married... perhaps, can I appeal to you to ignore this posting? heee... Hey! Don't blame me: GIRL! You are not suppose to read this PLEASE!!!! Since you are still adamant in wanting to read it; here goes:- These are some considerations: 1.One symbolic point of view is that the stove belongs to the "heart" of the home (kitchen). 2. Since it is the "heart"; it is said that if we have two stove: it implies that the male breadwinner could / may have two partners. 3.Look at it this way: some men like it! For example; it implies thatthe male breadwinner perhaps have a wife and an affair or "second wife". 4. Thus, fromsome man; they would smile atPara 3. 5.However;in "theory" since one has TWO kitchens;even if it is called a wet; and another dry; then personally; it sounds reasonable that EACH kitchencan have a stove. 6. Thus the consolation is since two kitchens; phew! Ok with two stoves! Tell it to your wife or if you are a woman (GIRL); doesn't this make you feel more comfortable. 7. Actually,Feng Shui is"neutral" to such things as flower of romance; affairs etc.... 8. If so, hey! if money is the mother of all your aims; ain't it good that "two stoves"mean more money ... and thus more money means can fool around hahaha...

These are some considerations: 1. Whatlike the "mosque like" building is in my opinion not a sha qi or poison arrow fromWHERE you had taken the photo. 2. Usually, when standing at where you took the photo; it should be directly facing the location. Here; it seems more like to the left side ofthe"location". Thus, definitely not a threat. 3. From a broader perspective; some may consider a "threat" as what I had mentioned under Para 2: where it is directly facing the "location". 4. Frankly, there are other considerations like the distance. Thus; the distance of thebuilding is consideredquite a distance away. 5.For example; thePetronas Twin-Tower. This building is so tall and"huge" thus it is illogical to imply that because of this building; the whole of the neighbourhood is "threaten by this building". Since it is like your picture a "circular + geomatric" type of shape. And not exactlylike a durian but hasgentle spinesprotuding in every direction. 6. HEIGHT MATTERS 6.1 Usually, the threat is often from the edge of the roof that coincidewithour location. Thus ifsay our flat is at 5th storey high and the roof edge is similiar heightand in close proximity this may pose a threat or sha qi. 6.2. Thus if there is a "spine" such of a church cross at the roof level of the church e.g. 8th storey high. And our unit is exactly at the same level of this cross on the roof; then it may be considered as a poison arrow. 6.3 I am surprised that some geomancers have mistaken a spine e.g. the antennae on a tall building as a poison arrow. For example, we know that the Petronas tower has two antennaes or tip. When we are standing at say 20 storey; we can see this spine (antennae). If we go up higher at 40 storey of our building.. we still can see it. But this should not be construed as a threat at our level. The threat is horizontal or at the same level of the spine or antennae. Much like a street lamp post slicing towards say a main door entrance at the same ground level.

This http://singaporeelection.blogspot.com/2011/04/pap-chartered-residents-from-tanjong.html vs http://singaporeelection.blogspot.com/2011/04/wps-chen-show-mao-at-aljunied-grc-rally.html Erh.. the ruling party's biggest mistake this election? Allowing the "use" of the internet! Perhaps, before the next elections; IN MY OPINION; if the ruling party still governs SGP; Singapore Inc; may try to own: Youtube; Facebook; Twitter; Google and any other such channels to regulate these media?#@! Hahahaha! Sun Tzu says "Never under-estimate your opponents!"Seems like many find that the ruling party is out of touch with the people"... the ruling partyshould now realise it'stoo late... that the ground is now suddenly very sweet for the picking for the opposition. Erh.. Good Luck... Ruling party... U really need lots of it.. for sure..this time... REMEMBER: Your VOTE is SECRET! Your VOTE COUNTS!

Thank you for your encouragement. This forumis indeed my passion = LOVE 1. This is a useful link tothe understanding ofEight House (4 Good/Bad directions) or Eight Mansions:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach 2. As you have correctly suspected! This theory has it's limitations. And it is not about activating any item nor/or object(s). 3. What this theory simply implies is: either about (NICE-TO have and not a MUST-HAVE) "facing a good direction" and/or "spending time at a good sector. 4. Today, it is a popular tool to roughly understand what "facing" direction one may consider as a suitable or not as suitable home or apartment. 5. If you do more research: this theory falls under the Compass School of Feng Shui. 6. The Compass School Feng Shui comprises of this theory + Flying Star. Those things you talk about "activate" has more to do with the later. 7. Furthermore; please take note that may be when we were transported back to the 1970's to 1980's it sounds impressive that North = water; South = fire element etc... 8. Today; thanks to the internet; where info is just a click away; you simply can't bluff yourway around telling people using such "Kindergarten" type of Feng Shui. 9. Therefore; have a good grounding using the above link (guideline): http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach

Frankly, in my opinion; these are some of the considerations: 1. There are/could/may be many variables related to your question. 2. First and foremost is also "culture". Although I believe India is trying to abolish the caste system; it is still widespread. Most likely this is not the issue, here. 3. Correct me if I am wrong; as I have heard / seen documentaries of how some Indian husbands / family (treat or even mistreat) their wifes or worse... 4. Thus; this is one major aspect that may / can / would affect the outcome. 5. Given that in the Indian culture; there are many Astrologers that "perform" the same tasks as Chinese Geomancers; if you want to go on this route; then what better than to approach such a person in your country. Vs asking for help in an International setting. 6. This is because; in an international setting; we really don't have a full picture or details. All the info are "blanks" in our arsenal of tools. As often we use many tools : to gain a larger and large picture of the entire situation: preparing the ba zi chart (the person); preparing the Flying Star chart + looking at the Shapes and forms (the home and surroundings). 7. Furthermore; such things are beyond this simple; Free General Advice forum. 8. Not sure about youravailability to "support" group(s). 9. For us Chinese; we have our parents; our grand parents; our relatives; our friends and even psychologists if necessary to look at it from another perspective. Furthermore; our culture may be different. It is rare for us Chinese man say to become violent to woman (excuse me... but this isonly from my vague understanding of Indian culture - again this is notabout every Indian male... some that weSOMETIMES read about the inequality of Indian females.) 10. Often us geomancers; when we do give advice; our clients do take us very seriously and even geomancers have to understand psychology and it's impact not to leave too serious a "scar" on to an already volitile situation. 11.In modern times; there are so many avenuesfor obtaining advice. 12. Again;in many instances; communication betweencouples is another source.

Under the Compass of School of Feng Shui: the concept of Eight House can be used to check what is the best bed-head facing:- http://64.19.142.11/www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/reports-list.htm Favourable Sleep Position? Generating Sleep Position Report? Sleep Position Report Example Generate Now Often the above concept is considered as "nice-to" have and not a must-have. This is because we still need to consider the "Shapes and Forms" aspect of each bedroom. As most bedroom(s) may/could/would/should have a bedroom door and/or some ventilation windows and/or attached toilet. Thus, instinctively many of us already roughly have an idea of how we would like to place our bed-head. As mentioned earlier; the Eight House concept is not a must-have. We would/could/should/may like to see if it is certainly nice-to if we could place our bed-head according to this concept provided it makes SENSE and is practical or that we feel comfortable to do so!

Frankly... One simple advice.....I vaguely remember part of the line; something about "a pic ......tells ..... a .......words".
-
1. Frankly, it is difficult to visualise where the facing direction (may / could) be... 2. However, as a "rule-of-thumb" or "rule-of-law" or "rule-of-something"..... "IT DEPENDS!" 3. Usually; for macro Flying Star analysis; it is often the facing direction of the Block rather than each of the individual stack(s) assuming that the stucks are facing all sorts of directions. 4. Thus if a Geomancer has been tasked to analyse the entire site to recommend say external features such as a water position e.g. location of fountain(s); waterfalls and swimming pool; then he looks at the MACRO level e.g. the entire BLOCK or development. 5. I suspect that if you are only interested in your unit within your stack than; the most reasonable or sane method is the "most yang qi" of the unit. Yang qi can be defined as the most openings at a facade or frontage where "qi" most likely can "enter". 6. This qi need not necessarily mean thatit is the most likely open areaorin an entirely air-conditioned location; where light rays or "uv" light comes into the unit. 7. Thus; if you have a habitlike most of us condo owners who don't leave your main door opened; then for the purpose of calculating Flying Star facing; Para 6 should be considered. 8. Nowadaysthere are all sorts of condo block designs. Some curvy and meander around; others is a simple rectangular block. While other's is in an arc shape. That is why; frankly "god knows" what type of shape isyour condo development. As we all know; a few lines of text -- can't help form any concrete info.

These are some considerations: 1. On the contrary: weak water + weak water is like having a "larger" pool of water. 2. Of course; it is is not the same as having say a partner that is a STRONG METAL element. As under the productive cycle of the five elements; it is aways better to use an element preceding the weak element to significantly improve it. 3. Thus; an excellent match would be a STRONG METAL person to help the weak water person grow. 4. However; if we look at the lowest common denominator: 4.1. A weak water person "needs" : Metal and water. 4.2. Thus if both parties are weak water; the share the same or similar favourable elements: Metal and water. 5. Contrast this to a STRONG FIRE partner of say a weak water person. This two combinations are considered as not suitable. Same as a STRONG WOOD person with a weak water person. This is equally not auspicious combination. 6. Look at it this way:- 6.1. Let's say a person is a weak wood person. Of course the favourable element of a weak wood person is water and wood. 6.2. However, just think of a weak wood person as a small tiny plant. What helps to make it grow is by adding adequate amounts of water. Of wood is acceptable; but patching the plant with more wood is so-so. As compared to having water to fuel it to grow. (Of course; a strong wood would then later use it's roots to crush the soil ... etc.. this is another point altogether!)
