If Feng Shui is to be considered, you may have missed issues especially with Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. For example, how the drainage flows out of the home to external surroundings, etc....and many other such factors need to be considered. What we have now is the disappointments with Flying Star Feng Shui. Time and again, I mentioned that even if one scores 100 marks under Flying star, bbut all else "crumbles" outside the four walls, the result can be failure.

Further to what I had mentioned; For those who need to find out the significance of anything e.g. a bagua mirror facing a home etc... it is always best to find out or as the saying goes, a picture paints or tells a thousand words.

1. Frankly, if you are looking it from a Feng Shui point of view; then in country, try to consult a geomancer especially to GO on site under say a "Can or cannot buy type of service". Dear Sir,I am looking for a condo unit to stay and I am very confused with the facing. My husband, the breadwinner belongs to a Eastern group so supposedly S, SE, E and N facing house would favours him. Currently, we were eyeing a condo; the main gate (with the guard house and condo address registered) faces the South. However, the condo has 3 towers with all the entrance faces the East or South-east. Then in the unit that we preferred, the bedrooms and living room balcony (or side with most windows) faces the SE or East but the main door of the unit faces NW which is the "death" side according to the Eastern group system. May I know if we should continue to place offer for the unit or forget about it.Thank you sir.

Since the 3 bagua mirrors does not contain any ba gua mirror; then the main purpose of the mirror(s) are for "protection" with the "higher order" of the Yin yang symbol.

1. In my opinion, toilet is better at North with MS2 WS5 and base 4. However, where possible, the toilet should share an external wall. 2. In addition, the layout of the toilet / toilet doorin relation to say the master bedroom layout should be considered. 2.1 For example, if based on shapes and forms (and if say having a toilet at SW would mean that one external wall is shared) and if at North; 2.2 there is or may not be an extra shared wall; then in such a situation or as you mentioned toilet door facing the side of the bed; the one not facing the side of the bed may be a better choice. 3. It is nice-to avoid toilet door facing the side of the bed. But if really no choice, (if one check past forum messages) there is no major issue. 4. The issue has more to do with both psychology i.e. if the toilet door is not closed; some don't like to see the toilet bowl etc.. 5. As mentioned in many of the past forum messages: was driving along the Central Expressway; a radio program; someone said: must buy disinfection tablet like those for false teeth to cleanse the toothbrush head; as he menitoned that anywhere one place the toothbrush in a toilet; sure to find some form of germs. 5.1. In addition, do you know that it is even better to have the lid of the toilet bowl in an "open" or upright position vs closing it. The reason? Many toilet bowl seats have "gaps" between the seat and the porcelain bowl. And in a closed position; whenever one flushes the toilet; some of the gas or "air" would shot out from this gap. 5.2. Frankly, for a normal healthy person; a bit of germs won't "die" or make us sick. Only those who have very low resistance to germs such as those recovering from an illness or the very old and weak.. should avoid AT all costs, a toilet door beside the bed. 5.3. For those, who are still working: strong limbs and hands; what is the worry? In life; like the saying goes; travelling in a plane is much safer than walking on the road. And the heck with it! Smelling one's toilet is even safer than walking on the road on as a motorcycle rider!

In general, Ba gua mirrors can be classified or grouped into THREE major groups:- 1. Convex mirrors 2. Concave mirrors 3. Flat mirrors Note: These mirrors may be standalone or may be combined with a Eight Trigram pictorial with any of these mirrors in the middle. 4. Thus, you have a describe; what type and if they are different, at which locations that they are different. 5. One thing for sure, with some many ba gua mirrors facing your home; psychologically; uneasy feeling is a common thing in such situations. 6. Unless, the correct mirrors are identified..... can't tell for sure as each of these three mirrors (convex, concave, flat) or some other types of mirrors: have different implications.

These sre some of the considerations: 1. The #4 with #3 combination can be neutralised with the "Fire element". 2. Fire element can be represented byusing red colour, e.g. an entrance door mat that is red and/or the use of lightining {such as an led light esp. a red one turned on. 3. In addition, it is best to close the main entrance door when not in use. 4. As this sector where the missing corner is especially the passageway wall sharing the lift airwell is located in a not so auspicious sector, a mirror at that wall is not advantages. 5. Depending on the view towards the balcony where one of the lift wall is found, if there is no good view, a mirror at this wall again is not advantages.

Please refer to some of my past messages on the toilet in the centre. Although this is considered a leak; usually a home that has severe wealth leaks are those that have 3 or more major wealth leaks. Yes, because of it's controversal design, I agree it does look like a sitting toilet. Anyway; look at it this way; scientific tests have shown that the amount of germs on a toilet seat (or in live we call this trash) is less than those found on our personal PC keyboards. In addition, look at Treasury Building at 8 Shenton Way. The treasury building is ROUND. and has the auspicious 8 or infinity address. Oval shapes are equal to circular which is equal to metal or GOLD. More importanly, the big picture is all about: Location, location and location. One advantage of "point blocks" or each block with able to flow around it is good.

Key Success Factors in D.I.Y. Feng Shui to attract wealth cannot be based on just one sentence. It involves the understanding / the application of some of these concepts:- * Fix-the-Leak, First! (VERY IMPORTANT) * The Concept of Maximizing Marks(VERY IMPORTANT) * The Customer Engineer Concept (VERY IMPORTANTFOR D.I.Y. FENG SHUI) An understanding of these concepts: * Commonsense Approach Fact or Fiction? (GOOD TO UNDERSTAND) * Fast Food Feng Shui (GOOD TO UNDERSTAND) * Feng Shui Triage * Situational Approach * The Concept of Feng Shui by Exception * The Three-Step-Approach * Trial & Error Vs Flying Star Look at it this way, if it is so easy not only to attract but to retain wealth; then one liner answer to this question is out.

1. The lucky wealth star #8 falls in the facing direction of the NW. Thus homes that have FACING direction of NW should benefit from it. It is particuarly auspicious for those in the "earth" and "metal" industries. 1.1 Reference to the element and occupation; please refer to : http://talk.geomancy.net 2. However, do avoid renovations at this sector; else will affect the wealth luck. 3. In addition, at work or when investing; avoid making hurried decisions. For those with young children: avoid playing with roller skates (as may be prone to injuries to the arms and legs - bones) Note: for 2011: the worst facing directions are : East (where five yellow & Tai Sui - meets) ; South (where two black resides = health concerns) ; North (where the three Green #3 is. Special concern is if one's spouse is frequently travelling; concern of infidelity issues)

These are the considerations:- 1. Please check out what I mentioned earlier under Para 1.1. 2. Thus, if the mirror faces a senic view of say of a water feature, then symbolically, it "aborbs" that view. 3. Glass (depending on its grade and thickness); from a Five Element concept point of view is considered as belonging to the metal element. And for mirrors, usually one side with a coating of "silver oxide" type of material, is generally considered as belonging to the metal element. Thanks for the reply sir.You have given a wonderful explanation for mirrors. But can mirrors also be used as water element cure? You have also talked about water paintings. Will the painting of a waterfall be a sufficient water element cure. Since the painting also has a mountain and hence earth element comes into play. So a painting of a waterfall is of the earth element or water??On 9/23/2010 8:13:01 PM, Cecil Lee wrote: These are some of the considerations:-ABOUT DECORATIVE MIRROR (MIRRORS) OR A FLAT MIRROR ABOVE, SAY A DOOR1. In the Rabbit Year from 03 Feb 2011 to 22 Jan 2012; the dreaded Five Yellow meets Tai Sui or Grand Duke at the EAST sector! Especially for homes: FACING EAST and SITTING EAST; next year brings extreme caution! As any renovations done especially for these two directions can result in a combination of both misfortune and health issues. For such homes; hanging a six-hollow rod windchime at these directions does help. BUT NEVER do any renovations, here (EAST). For other facing directions; it is equally of concern not to do renovations also at EAST! Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2011.htm

1. Usually, the most visual concern is that of the visible roof and spine of the church. Usually the spine is usually the christian cross signage. 2. Here, the most common issue is if one were to stand in the apartment and can see the pointed roof or the spine, then this could be a sha qi. 3. Sometimes, even the roof of the house next to the church or if it has a tv antennae pose a threat; not to say that only the church may pose a threat.
