  1. Feng Shui is a holistic approach and it is best to consult a competent Geomancer to access the situation: As Feng Shui is not a cure all for every tom, dick and harry ailment.. even ailment for a failing business.

  3. These are some considerations:- 1. If Feng Shui is used as a diagnostic tool to determine whether it can or cannot help; 2. Such key success factors include things like:- 2.1. Ba zi analysis of the individual. As some individuals are better to work for others than to do own business 2.2. Earth Luck: A detailed look at the earth luck: luck from one's home and work / shop 3. The above are generally the set of Holistic Approach to Feng Shui. 4. External Factors: 4.1. Please note that good Geomancers can often distinguish whether a business can be helped by Feng Shui or NOT. As Feng Shui is not a cure all for everything even business failures. 4.2. For example, in Singapore, eight or nine years ago; many open those Taiwanese bubble tea business in Singapore. Some of these business called me to go down to do their Feng Shui. I told them "Don't waste my time". 4.3. Such business: low entry level i.e. with a small capital, any tom dick or harry could set up shop. 4.4. Singaporeans are not accustomed to "sweet" cold drinks daily or even twice or three times a day! 4.5. In the early 1990's many set up Aquariums selling those "Luohan fish". Again, these people approached me to Feng Shui their shop. I said "Don't waste my BLOODY time". 5. Again, Feng Shui is a holistic approach and in many instances: not instant noodles or "cure all"

I had advise her not to use it as a main entrance and kept it closed instead. It is fine? 1. Frankly, this is not the most practical solution unless your home has several "entrances" and there is no problem getting in and out of the home from other avenues. 2. It depends on the overall luck of the home. Some homes have relatively good Feng Shui and such a "leak" i.e. the main entrance facing a staircase is "peanuts". Or some homes can easily sustain one or more such leaks and still have good Feng Shui. While some other homes; don't have fantastic Feng Shui and all these add up. 3. 5. Despite the Beijing municipal government's two-decade-old push to encourage "green interments", which include so-called tree, burials, only 2 per cent of familes choose these cheaper and purportedly more eco-friendly methods of burial. Tree burials refer to the burying of body ashed under trees, flowers and lawns. "The earliest tree burial was promoted in the Fengtai district in 1990, when the local government held a gropu interment ceremony with tree burials," said Mr Jiang Xiaogang, secretary-general of the Beijing Funeral Association. He said the tree burials now use urns made of biodegradable materials, which turn into soil after several months or years, depending on natural conditions. Nearly 30 precent of Beiing's state-owned cemeteries offer the tree-burial service according to the Beijing Youth Daily......
  6. These are two other considerations for those thinking of redecoration or minor renovations:- 1. If it ain't broken; don't fix it! 2. The Customer Engineer Concept
  7. 1. Based on the link, below: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm 2. Thus for this year:- Grand Duke this year is East-North-East, 60 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is North. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. 3. Try to check whether have you done redecorated your home. For example; if you had repainted the walls or drill holes etc... 4. But if your redecoration is merely moving furniture around; e.g. move the bed from one sector to another sector; without drilling, nailing etc.. 5. Usually, if Compass School Feng Shui is used e.g. the Eight House or 4 Good/ 4 Bad directions; then try to plot the best directions based on this and also in-consideration the Shapes and Forms of the bedroom: as not always we can follow the Eight House due to the original layout of the bedroom : fixed bedroom door, window, attached toilet door etc.. 6. Often, try to put back or "restore" to original.
  8. 1. Burial or burial in a good site is said to benefit the decendants if buried in a good location especially with good Feng Shui. 2. However, once we dig up a grave; create the remains; creation is a neutral situation. The saying goes "ashes to ashes; dust to dust". Feng Shui no longer is link to nor affect cremation or vice versa.
  9. These are some considerations: 1. There are no cures for facing a good or bad direction. Why? Commonsense says that you either face a good direction or not. There is no if's or but's, here. 2. Are there known cures available for this theory of good directions? Check out this link:The Three-Step-Approach 3. You have to apply other concepts like the Flying Star etc.. to try and maximise luck from elsewhere....
  10. 1. In my opinion, the success rate for Option 3 is pretty low. 2. Please do a seaech for past forum messages, as I believe I had covered most of the methods used to 'help' fly a home to the new period.
  11. This recipe is not about ONE plus ONE = three or four! This recipe is about an sms to a stork for help!
  12. Is Feng Shui a religion? NO! If I stay in another home; can I benefit from Feng Shui of this place? NO! Why everything is No, No, No????
  13. 1. If you are referring to a fixed template that is suppose to be super-imposed onto a layout plan; where e.g. North = career, SW = romance etc... then this is a modern invention. 2. This modern invention originated in Taiwan around the 1980's. 3. Traditional Feng Shui does not use such a model. 4. Best to expand your studies or research elsewhere.
  14. Bait, lure, con and cheat.... When the buying stops the selling can...
  15. This mountain star is too heavy for me to carry all day long... how?
  16. My dog is a west group person...
  17. Your grandparents time, your parents time don't have such things... These are modern invention advertised as "in the name of Feng Shui".... Go figure it out...
  18. 1. Frankly, what you mentioned: facing NE or SW vs Eight House is just the top of the ice-berg. There are so many other considerations, first. Reyla F. wrote: Hi , master Cecil! We have the opportunity to build a new home that is either face NE or SW. Problem is, my husband and i are both East (4 & 9) group. What can we do? Which would be better for us? Also, as I am trying to practice and apply remedies to our current home, I get confused as to which one should take precedence or which one should I give more weight, the annual stars or the natal chart of the house? Thank you and I look forward to reading your sage advice. 2. You might like to look at this article:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F
  19. 1. You can generate your correct personal element and strength e.g. strong wood or weak wood etc.. under this FREE report link:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 2. For all reports under Geomancy.net; all inputs of date field are in the western calendar and not lunar dates. Thus, one simply inputs say the birthdate as found in one's birth certificate. 3. What happens if I do not know my gf's time of birth? All the compulsory fields include: Day, Month & Year of Birth. And time of birth is an OPTIONAL field. If do not know the time, just leave it as default - blank.
  20. 1. This concept is about not re-inventing the wheel. 2. In fact, it has already been used by few not all Geomancers when they take into account: How suitable this house is to the breadwinner. 3. Frankly, it applies more towards:- 3.1. Someone building a home from scratch such as which is the better facing direction. 3.2 As mentioned not all Geomancers bother to analyse a house based on three factors:- a. Analyses the Various Stars, Combinations; b. suitability with house & c. ba zi suitability. 4. There are limitations to such an analysis. As it is originally meant to guide someone as to which home (apartment) is better than the other and rank them for consideration when house hunting. 5. For example, Geomancy.net is one of the few which pro-actively helps clients during house hunting with such tools. Please see attachment. 5.1 The attached sample reports shows the full integration of the Gua (Kua) analysis with the Personal Element (Ba Zi) Feng Shui. 6. Once you have bought the home; then logically why bang your head against the wall trying to figure out how to solve the dilema of reconciling Gua (Kua) with Personal Element of the Ba zi. 7. Like they say, what is past is past. Commonsense and cow-sense dictates that one has to find other sensible means of boosting luck .. 8. Here, based on ba zi, North facing home isa plus point for a weak wood person. For things like it is your death direction; then one has to understand what the Gua system is about or if there are cures - if any e.g. * The Three-Step-Approach 9. Other than that other key successfactors in boosting one's luck is based on other concepts like:- * Fix-the-Leak, First! * The Concept of Maximizing Marks * The Concept of Feng Shui by Exception * The Customer Engineer Concept * The Three-Step-Approach 10. Some other "advanced" matters: In the more advanced concept of house hunting; amongst the highest level Feng Shui masters that does use Ba Zi (Personal Element):- If someone uses both Gua (Kua) and Ba Zi "Feng Shui"; usually Ba Zi Feng Shui comes first and Gua comes 2nd. Which is your situation, good: Ba Zi Personal Element good while the Gua (Kua) comes 2nd. The rationale why Ba Zi comes first; is based on the reasoning that it uses more inputs: Day, Month, Year and Time of Birth thus considered "more personalised" information. Where-else, the Gua (or Kua) is based on fewer inputs. This is thus put-forth as in theorytherefore: Ba Zi first, Gua second. 11. Why then is Gua (Kua) seems more popular than Ba Zi Feng Shui? 11.1 Simply, it is a no brainer with Gua (Kua) as few would ever get your Gua (Kua) calculated wrongly. 11.2 For Ba Zi : Personal Elements: if you go to 10 different sites and if they offer calculations to determine the Gua (kua) 8 out of 10 sites will calculate it wrongly. 11.3 In fact, just a few years ago, someone calculated her Personal Element on this website and went to a lady author's site to calculate her personal element. She got two different results. And later on, when she went back to that lady's site to check again; the result was similar to Geomancy.net. 11.4 Thus, beware that not all Ba Zi - Personal Element calculations on every tom-dick and harry site are identical. In fact, there is a higher chance of getting such info wrong. Thus, it could explain why it is no brainer that Gua is still more popular. To some, at this Gua is confirmed while personal element may be a question mark or too diffcult to calculate. 12. As mentioned earlier, the attachment shows how Gua (Kua) and Personal Element is combined into one "Finding a Good House" report.
  21. Thanks for the illustrations. In my opinion, it looks OK as it is upright without another secondary roof to make it horizontal. And furthermore, the "UP" profile of the house is not duly affected by the turbines as shown in your illustration. Chimneys also protrude and they even have an "opening" at the top. Thus, in my opinion, a no issue interms of Shapes and Forms and/or symbolism in Feng Shui. And the plus point is that it can help circulate qi properly in the home = excellent!
  22. These are some considerations:- 1. In the 1960's to late 1970's, compatibility was simplylooking at Chinese Horoscope to determine compatibility. 2. For example, under Chinese Horoscope or Chinese zodiac signs; it isvery basic: http://lovesigns.net 3. Here, if look at the first page of my Chinese horoscope site; you can see all the 12 animal signs. I have attached a simple illustration:- 3.1. Under this attachment; this graphic file showssimplyat a glance that a Dog's worst pairing is a Dragon. While a Rat's worst paring is a Horse. 3.2. Thus, it seems that iftwo parties age difference is exactly 6 years difference; this is considered as the worst pairing. 4.ChineseHoroscope or zodiac signs isvery easy to understand due to it's simplicity.. However, there is a fundamental flaw here. For example, all humans although are Homosepiens, but humans are complex and not similar throughout even those born in a specific year. 5. The problem with the Chinese Horoscope is that it is TOO GENERAL. Just because we are born in 1976 and/or 1982 says that we are either a dog or dragon. 6. The more accurate means is to look at our element and strength:-http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 7. Unlike the general Chinese Horoscope; the above Para 6 link needs more variables: like Day, Month, Year and even Time of birth to classify a person into either:- Strong or weak: Metal or Water or Wood or Fire or Earth element. And then the two partners are compared with each other on this basis. Thus, even if one is born in say 1976 and another 1982, some of the above aids or support the other or clashes. If clashes, there is such thing as "binding element". 8. This forum is not a we do it for you. So, you have to find out more or more reading eg. by searching for "binding elements" etc... 9. SCARE TACTICS 9.1 This is a "wonderful" tool used by many Geomancers to extract money from us. 9.2 Thus, rubbish talk includes "chaning chinese name"..that can match... 9.3 When we are born, some parents or even grand-parents consult a geomancer for a name for their child. Thus a name was chosen to harmonise a person's bazi "5 element". 9.2 Thus, rubbish talk includes "chaning chinese name"..that can match... 9.3 When we are born, some parents or even grand-parents consult a geomancer for a name for their child. Thus a name was chosen to harmonise a person's bazi "5 element". 9.4 But there are some, whom their parents did not consult a geomancer on this. And if this personhas a christian name even if it is not officially used in their birth-certificate or IC; 9.5If everyone calls this person by his christina name: JOHN; there is seriously no longer a strong reason to change one's name anymore. As the most effective means is to call the person by his new name. But if everyone still calls him JOHN; then what is the use of changing his name to TAN KIA SEE? Jackson C. wrote: cause some of them said by changing chinese name to have all 5 element.that can match it.pls tell me wat to do pls master sorry i am new here 9.6 Frankly, what you wrote is based on "Scare tactics" and whoever mentioned the above to you uses flawed reasoning. 9.7 For example, this is the first time I heard that we have to change our name to be compatible to our partner! So far, as I understand and believe, no Singaporeans or Chinese ever change their name to match their spouse or potential spouse. 9.8 What happens if our spouse divorce us or vice versa! Does it mean that we have to change our names everytime we have a new partner 9.9 Seriously, in my life-time, these are one of those scare tactics that makes no-sense or nonsense. 10. What now? Worry, worry, worry? 11. Auto-suggestion and self-fulfilling prophecy! 11.1 One advice, here : don't fall into the trap of "auto-suggestion and self-fulfilling prophecy! 11.2 I know of many who are on the opposites and yet stay loyal throughout their life. Thus, if you really love this person; go all out to make the best of the situation and prove to the "critics" wrong! 11.3 The worst senario is having auto-suggestion... and use this as a tool to convince once-self that the relationship cannot work and it will ultimately lead to self-fulfilling prophecy! 12. Many Geomancers, are out to earn money from us, by whatever tactics! Thus, don't be fooled by them! Especially when you see them selling lots of commercial products.. be even wary as they are purely salesman, first! And high mark-ups in their "in the name of Feng Shui or fantastic jewlry are all bull-shit".
  23. These are some considerations: 1. A normal or regular common home's Shapes and Forms profile looks like an "UP" arrow image that symbolises "progress". 2. If two or more such ventilators are installed; I suspect that they have to be installed ONTO or close to horizontal level. This is because, based on commonsense, such ventilators cannot be tilted too much else may affect both the working of the motor and even allow too much leakage e.g. rainfall. 3. Based on Shapes and Forms, if a normal home with roof as shown under Illustration gets too distorted due to so many of such "pimples" and these ventilators need a further flat or close flat surface to mount on, then the appearance of such a home is "altered" ... 4. Another commonsense approach is that hopefully, such ventilators does not cause leaking of rain / rainwater into the home. Anyway, I am no expert in this area; I assume it has to be taken care off else it would not be allowed to be installed. 5. Looking at your sample picture, one will notice that these fans are mounted close to a flat - horizontal position of say no more than 10 degrees sloping roof. In fact, it looks like such fans are more suitable for "flat roofs". 6. From an internal Feng Shui; it is excellent for such a ventilation fan as it can help to circulate qi or remove "dead" from the home. Thus, this is indeed a plus point. Thus, properly installed, it should be considered good. 7. White tiger location? 7.1 Looking at it's circular "semi-enclosed" design, it does not seem an issue from the concern on the white tiger or some may wrongly say that it looks like a hungry tiger's mouth ... I don't thing so, as one can even argue that it looks like a dragon's pearl especially with its aluminium colour and circular shaped. 8. As this is a modern tool; it can be left to many different interpretations. Some may even say that it may even look like a drawf house chimney stack!
  24. Preferred = same level. Above the door must be a bigger sized one.
