These are some considerations:- 1. In the past, especially in the 1970's to 1980's where many geomancers practise using the following tools:- 1.1 Basic to Advanced Ba zi 1.2 Basic concepts to Advanced Five Elements concept 2. During those donkeys years (1970-1980's) and unfortunately, some still practice this kind of Feng Shui; 2.1 Such practitioners are too simplistic: thus if say one leaks wood element; then as what you had mentioned below; some of these geomancers would give advice such as what you had mentioned. 3. Today, many of us understand and read widely about things like Flying Star Feng Shui. In the flying star concept; just because one needs wood element; does not mean that the entire home needs "wood energy" or element. 4. Look at it from another way: 4.1 Even in the US, majority of homes were constructed with mostly wood: Wooden frame structure, wooden or plywood panels etc... 4.2 So that it mean that if one is say a Strong fire or strong wood person, should not live in a home with everything wood or the so called wood energy! 5. How about a home that is made of bricks or concrete or reinforced steel cum concrete? Does the same logic imply that if one is a strong earth person; living in a fully concrete home is bad due to the so called "earth (concrete) energy".

No major issue. In-fact, this proposed location; the study table is even further away than your actual Proposed Layout 3, if you can check back.

Advice for men: Never, never allow the kitchen to be of equal size to the living room or even bigger! Else, your partner will dominate you "like hell!" You don't want a situation where, she becomes the boss of the home. Just imagine! Your wife becomes the Minister of Finance and Defence at home! And YOU? Well, a Minister without any portfolio! Hanpecked? Well, make sure that the size of your home's kitchen is as small as possible!

Yes, I have a secret affair! Not that kind of secret affair! But a secret affair with the Feng Shui emporium! You see, I love to buy all sorts of (rubbish products) from? From the Feng Shui emporium! My wife recently found out as I left a paper trail.. max all my credit cards.. and the rest is history... bills, bills, bills and bills!

1. The larger window area is no major issue. Just that some morning sun would "come-in" to the bedroom. Fortunately, this is the "morning sun" and not the afternoon sunlight - which is OK. 2. Actually the standing fan is not an issue. 3. Just make sure that "things" or items closer to the window would not inadvertently be "splashed" with any rainfall (depending on the shelter or no shelther for the windows). Don't want a situation where the rain can splash and damage say any items like notebook pcs or the fan core mechanism - causing electrical short).

Finally, this man can rejoice! As his Geomancer called him into his office. And told him that he can finally be allowed to get married! Let's hope this man's joy-stick is still in good shape! Cheers!

In my opinion, based strictly on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; the attached proposed revision to Layout 3, seems a better option. As the standing fan is movable; I am not too concern where it should be placed.

Ba zi has indications of how competitive a person is. What is competitor under the Ten Deities of the Ba zi? The higher this number; implies that the person is highly competitive in nature. For example, a high score of 5 means that this person always try not to lose out to others. And would like to be either 1 or 2 or 3 place or ranking.

I followed my Geomancer's advice. AND one better! My Geomancer told me to place 9 roses at my romance sector at SW! I thought I could be better off! So, I placed 999 roses, instead! AND THE REST IS HISTORY! I sat, there, and HOPE, HOPE, HOPE! But my neighbour, simply utter a line to this beautiful girl: "Are you free this Sunday evening, I have two tickets to a show" YES, THE REST IS HISTORY! History for me, but a new beginning for that guy ! SUCKS !!#*#*(#($(

As much as we like to get guidance from "our charts"; but ba zi is only about our Heaven Luck. And under the holy trinity of Chinese Luck; ba zi accounts to only 33.3 percent of all the luck:- Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: ====================== Heaven Luck (via bazi) or born with Earth Luck or Feng Shui Human or Man Luck or our relationship with others We can still squeeze out luck from the other two areas : Earth Luck (33.3 percent) and Human (33.3 percent). More importantly, by the time the lady is 35; frankly might as well not get married as most of the time her biological clock would haveor close to "shutting down". If the Geomancer says, marry after 26 at least not sobad;but to recommend marriageon or after 35; is beyond comprehension! Assuming that she isstill young and was told to do so. All of us have to take acalculated risks in most of the things we do. BUT DO AVOID: 1. Listening to other's religiously 2. Avoid Auto-suggestion 3. Self-fullfilling prophecy!

Further to what I had mentioned; these are some interesting points: 1. There are many cases where as a result of a tragic death; the person who had dead; does not "know" that he/she has died. And in many situations; could return to his /her favourate place. 2. For example; this is a true story in 1930; this lady had a wonderful time with a new found boyfriend. And tragically, she died nearby in a car crash. 3. During the session where she was asked whether she knew about it; she said that she had no knowledge that she had died. And "strangely" she had walked and no one even "paid attention" to her. 4. This lady returned to the hotel suite that she last enjoyed very much when she was alive with her male companion. And she had remained in that hotel suite "ever since". 5. For those who have seen the blockbuster "The Sixth Sense" starring Bruce Willis; such things in real life does really happen: Where he acted as a person who did not realise that he is already dead. 6. Again do note that many of such spirits; meant no harm to humans. And would be more happy to "co-exists" in the same place although from a different plane or dimension. 7. Such spirits can be classified as "low ranking" or often non-evil where their souls were simply "shocked" and "not realising" that they were dead. "Low ranking" in the sense that they don't possess superior powers like the devil. 8. Hauntings occur, sometimes when inadvertently someone does some renovation and "affected" the spirit's hiding place or disturb them in that sense. 9. And often the "evil one" does occur especially thru a family member as a channel or "portal" of sorts. 10. And it is those "devils" that once awhile if they in a place; would then be able to control these "low ranking" spirits. 11. Thus, as mentioned these low ranking spirits often don't want to cause any problems and they would be more afraid of us then otherwise.

1. Yes, cremation is neutral. And even if someone dies of a tragic death; bringing in an urn contain that person's or family's ashes is again neutral. 2. In my opinion, should not be a cause any other misfortunes (if any). 3. Thus, keeping status quo or sprinkling the ashes into the sea is equally acceptable. 4. As we grow old; one day we may not have control of how the urn is "disposed". And perhaps, sprinkling the ashes is some form of a healing, then go for this option (if you are not looking at another option of placing his urn in a niche/place. 5. Best ofLuck! Mika H. wrote: Thank you so much for your advice. I have just one more question. It is about keeping the ashes of my husband's father. I researched this subject in your forum and you said the ashes are usually "neutral". My father-in-law died of a tragic accident happened in the snow mountain nearly 20 years ago, due to the lack of clear signage--severe neglect by the government. After his death, his sons went into a deep depression and my brother-in-law is still quite depressed. Right before we got married, we got hit by the huge government bus which totaled our car. In this case, do you think it's still OK to keep his ashes? We are also thinking about spreading his ashes on the mountain he loved. Any comment will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for the generosity of your time in reading this and writing comments.

1. Some of us think that everything revolves solely around Flying Star Feng Shui! 2. The maxim: Location, location, location! 3. Here: Location, location, location simply means SHAPES AND FORMS Feng Shui prevail over the Flyin or Freckin Flying Star Feng Shui! 4. Thus, don't just eat and sleep on Flying Star Feng Shui! 5. Just imagine; even if one has a perfect score under Flying Star Feng Shui i.e. within the four walls of a home or apartment; but everythin else crumbles outside of the four walls! 6. Please take note that: we can live without Flying Star but not the other way around! We cannot live without proper Shapes and Forms Feng Shui but can easily forgo Freakin Flying Star!

Last weekend, a previous client of mine called that he is house hunting as he needs a larger home. Furthermore, his current home has lots of staircases even to the "guest room" where is mother-in-law is staying. He chanced upon an "open house" for no. 1 Parry View which is on sale for whatever reasons. From the streetdirectory map: No. 1 Parry View: does not seem to have very good Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Take alook at the home at the "bottom" of the Y. Feng Shui can still help to redress some of the issues. But this is already a major leak: Location, location, location - ain't good! Based on Shapes and Forms; this home is situated at the "bottom" of the "V" of the Y shaped layout plan. (or Fan shaped layout plan.) Note: Roads are like water courses. Thus solely based on Shapes and Forms (alone) it is best to avoid purchasing such a home. Rather than after purchasing; needs "lots of TLC" Feng Shui care to squeeze out (if any) luck from this land.

These are some of the consideration:- 1. Even in a bedroom; the Eight House can be applied, in this example:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on 2. In the bedroom; it is not like because the two differs; both partners would have to sleep with each other's "smelly" feet and toes. 3. Even in this modern times, the phrase still stands " male chauvinist PIG = MCP". 3.1. Thus, when finding a home; and if one applies the Eight House concept; usually the Male's suitability is considered First or of prime importance. 3.2. Even if the female earns 50-50 percent of the income for the home; usually Para 3.1. still stands but with some consideration for the female. 3.3. For example; between a NE or SW facing home which is considered a BETTER choice? 3.4. Some geomancers "seek" some sort of a compromise: 3.4.1 Where in this example: the Male : NE = excellent ; Female NE = disaster while for the Male : SW = Prosperity while Female SW = irritation. 3.4.2 Normally, without looking at the Female's ba zi; NE is preferred facing direction of the main door. But in this case; it can be "adjusted" to say that the top choice is SW facing. Get the picture? 3.4.3 Alternatively, some geomancers place higher weightage for NE facing home for the couple BUT hope that the bedroom sector is most suitable for the female or spouse.

Is it true that a jack of all trades is a master of none? Not necessary! In the past, a butcher is a butcher and a merchant is a merchant. Today, all of us must have multi-skills and most of all multi-task! Thus it is not surprised that many of us routinely perform more than one element in a job! For example; a CEO may wear an accountant hat (Metal element); do strategic planning (Wood element); Customer Relations (Earth element); Marketing strategies (Fire element) and be an excellent communicator (Water element!) In addition; there is the industry one is employed in and one's core job function. Nowadays; the job is "close to one's heart" or one's core job function should be the main element. Thus; if this person has been employed as a "Marketing executive"; then his/her key role is : FIRE ELEMENT even though he/she may be in a different industry e.g. Authorised Agent of a brand of car e.g. Audi. (where the industry is the Metal element as predominantly the main component of a car is usually made up mostly of metal parts).

Anonymous wrote: Or possibly some spirits rebelling against positive changes we are making? There always has been a suspicion that this apartment might have some harmful spirits and we also noticed that the light of the altar got SWITCHED OFF by itself after the Feng Shui changes (not by the connection problem, somebody other than us switched it off). If this was caused by 5 yellows, is there anything I should do? We cannot move the altar, and we always have to light candles. But we have some bells on the altar. If you have any advice, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance. 1. Usually, haunting occurs for any of the following reasons:- 1.1. Bought an "antique" item and not aware of it's history and place it in one's home. 1.2. Sometimes hanging wind chimes may inadvertenly attract such things. 1.3. If one has children and they often have nightmares or if adults also have nightmares. 1.4. Rarer: If one recently moved-in a new home and usually if one has a child that becomes the "portal" for such forces. 1.5. If are unusual "cold spots" especially a bedroom closet... 1.6. Where the altar is located at NE (devil's gate) and SW (devil's backdoor) area. For both the Chinese and Hindu - puja (pooja); this is one of the most inauspicious locations. 2. "If it is not broken, don't fix it." applies. As for the Five Yellow; currently lacking in more details. As due to the "time dimensions"; #5 can occur in a month, a day, an hour a second... And if they all coincide then could be one of the reasons for your "issues". 3. If one's altar is located at NE or SW; one effective method especially for a Chinese altar for the Guan Yin is to buy a Chinese Luopan and place it horizontally - usually below the Guan Yin i.e. the Guan Yin is sitting on top of the luo pan. This will help...
