1. There are specialised concepts meant for specific senarios. 2. For the home Feng Shui, besides the Shapes and Forms, Flying Star Feng Shui should be applied. There are many more concepts. 3. Why Flying Star Feng Shui? The clue, here is that like human beings each home also has it's own birth chart! 4. You and I were born in a specific date and time. Thus, under Ba Zi, we can determine our element. And for husband and wife, as you had mentioned there is what is known as a "binding element". In your case, you had mentioned that it is "water element". 5. As mentioned under para 3, all homes have their own birth chart and characteristics - based on which flying star sectors: Facing direction and sitting directions. 6. What you are trying to do is to simply say that because both of your binding element is Water, then your home should be e.g. say painted in blue etc... But again, you are not living in an isolated environment! 7. Your home has it's distinctive birthchart. And each sector has different characteristics. For example say the location that you wanted to paint blue of place a water feature has a bad #3 wood. (#3 relates to lawsuits, quarrels, conflicts. And since this is a wood element, having a water position or blue colour here is surely going to inflame this bad #3 wood.) etc... 8. The saying goes... "a little knowlege is a dangerous thing!". Thing about it! Avoid, the common mistake of applying "fast food feng shui". Reading something and then, doing 100 and 1 thing in the name sake of "Feng Shui".

1. There are two concepts, here: 1.1. "Paper qualifications" 1.2. Real life situation (reality check) 1.1. "Paper qualifications". Not exactly what is meant but technically, strictly from an academic Five Elements concept:- Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm For a weak fire person; has to get support from "wood" to grow. Wood careers can range from teaching, training, co-ordination etc.. In general, food industry and like your current industry real estate belongs more to the earth element. Strictly from an academic exercise, earth draws out fire. Thus on paper, food careers are not auspicious for a weak fire person. As the person is said to be already weak fire and yet, food (earth) draws or "suck" more out of that person (weak fire). 1.2 In a small country like Singapore, where there are fewer geniune entrepreneurs, many take up common jobs like : real estate, hawkers or taxi drivers - especially for those who have reached 38 years old or more and cannot find other jobs to do. This is indeed a reality check. No choice, our previous school foundation is based on "route" leading and no creativity, risk taking .... culture. More so, scared to be a bankrupt. 1.3 Look at what happened to "Bubble tea"... shops... the bubble had burst for these "Taiwanese" type of drink(s). Previously, I was asked to do audits for these shops, I turned them all down! With some capital, e.g. $10K to $15K, almost everyone can open such a shop! Entry is so opened! 1.4 Look also at those "Luo han" fish sellers; was also approached to do Feng Shui. I would tell them "PLEASE, DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY and TIME!"

1. Please take note that the "Pi Yao" is a modern commercial product. And such products appear in abundance only after the mid 1980's. 2. Many Geomancers, are not shameful, in promoting commercial products, as these brings in the bulk of their "ill gotten" gains. Some Geomaners even preach.... during their audit sessions: " You have to place this specific painting, here". 3. You might ask: "Where do I get this painting." 4. The geomancer say: "Come to my shop." 5. For the individual,THREE key concepts should be considered:- 5.1. CONCEPT 1: Under the Compass School of Feng Shui, the Eight House (East/West group) applies. The question asked is " Does the compass change directions? Yes or No? 5.2 CONCEPT 2: Concept of Tai Sui or Grand Duke of Jupiter Capital punishment of the Tai Sui has more to do with "touch" or "disturb him". Thus, the rest e.g. facing Tai Sui is less of an issue. 5.3 CONCEPT 3: Commonsense Approach to Feng Shui: 5.3.1 You said it: "There is little I can do..." 5.3.2 If it ain't broken, don't fix it! Think about it! 6. The saying goes " If the buying stops, the selling can!" Go to any rich man's home. Can you find all sorts of rubbish "in the name of" Feng Shui products? "Here, the seller gets richer and the buyer... conned into departing with their hard earned money". Dear Masters, I am confused w/ some of the advice I've been receiving about facing Tai Sui 2009. My desk is directly facing Tai Sui (NE) this year (2009) and there's little I can do about it. However, the 'entrance' to my cubicle is facing SSW. My cubicle is in the SWW sector of my building. So do I need to place a 'Pi Yao' facing NE to appease Tai Sui?Or am I ok b/c of the sector my cubicle is in regardless of which way I face? Pls advise.

The morale of the story is that the rich gets richer, by investing in time and effort to secure (expert) help in finding a good home. The poor as usual, gets into a cycle of poverty: Imagine buying a home equivalent to a ten year old car. No matter how much effort is done (later) to improve their home, the Feng Shui of the home cannot turn it into a "gem" of a car! If one bought a run-down toyota, how to turn it into a lovely 7 series BMW? Again, it is like a family of 8 buying a home equivalent of a small Chinese cherry car! How to fit 8 persons in the car! No way! Have to purchase a car the equivalent of an MPV!

1. What you had described is very similar to the development known as The Meyer Place. This is the link to it:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=5532&new= 2. In all developments, there are often excellent units, good units and inauspicious units. This depends on which floor, what is the external influence of that particular development. Thus no two homes in a same development is similar. 3. In the above example, the unit " achieves " a quantum leap in Feng Shui by "sucking" wealth from the duplex bungalow - directly within it's development. This bungalow formerly belongs to a wealthy merchant : Tan Lark Sye. 4. Location, location and location plays an important factor. Thus, the smart person would normally get Feng Shui advice prior to purchasing a home. Vs one that they had already chosen and asked for a Feng Shui consultation. 5. In this example, there are also homes that are "entrapped" and one example is as follows:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=11582&new= 6. . Usually, there are two major instances where a home may not be "lived" in by human beings.... http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=3&mid=23677&new=

1. Even in Singapore, it is very common for bedrooms to have an attached toilet. 2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui:- 2.1 Toilets are considered "dirty" especially each time we flush the toilet bowl, the "air" and "water pressure" shoots out fine mists or droplets all over the entire toilet area. And if there are openings, these will "flow" further. 2.2 However, one day, I was driving along the highway, and this radio feature, had this person, selling some disinfection tablets to regularly sterile the toothbrush much like those denture cleaning tablets. He said that anywhere we place the toothbrush in the toilet, there will sure to be some form of "germs". 2.3 I was "shocked" because: many or all of us from young had never sterlised our toothbrush, or other utensils such as glass for mouth wash etc... 2.4 Thus, the conclusion, here that most of healthy adults do have certain residence to general germs. And is no major cause for concern -- in this area. 3. Given a small room, more doors, may not be practical. In my opinion, just leave it will do.

Quote: 1) What is the Wealth Element & Colour? 1. Please refer to the link, below:- http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm 1.1 Under the Five elements concept, there is a cycle known as: "Destructive cycle". 1.2 Literally, it is known as the "destructive cycle" because, taking an example: 2. In the "destructive cycle diagram" , "Wood destroys earth". 3. Just imagine a large tree (strong wood) with it's roots digging into the earth to get nourishment. 4. Thus, we can also say that the Wood (tree) draws wealth from the earth. 5. For a strong metalperson, again in the "destructive cycle",metal destroys wood e.g. a block of wood costs $4, but if you are a strong metal person, (imagine an axe or metal instruments are used to curved out a lovely figurine i.e. a work of art.) 6. For a strong metal person: best elements are: water (blue, black or grey) and wealth element is wood. while Fire (red pink or purple) is equally favourable colours. Quote: 2) The Chinese Name Element: Fire Wood Wood is good for thestrong yang Metal Rabbit? 7. Analysing, recommending (selecting new born's name/ existing) involves several rulesets and the Five elements concept. Best to seek help for those who want a name change.

1. This is not a free service. 2. You can view our link, below for such a service:- http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-dates/po-dates-caesarian-operation.htm 3. In general, if you were to approach a Geomancer for such a service,TWO important variables (or fields)must be known:- 3.1 Baby's sex (male or female) 3.2Your doctor's recommended dates for the caesarian operation (Two weeks range) 4. Optional:- Parents (and or siblings) date and time of birth 5. Para 3 is very important to select a good birth date. And it really does matter whether the child is a male or female as this will have an impact on the date and time there (are) born. 6. While para 4 is meant to see if the child suits / supports the parents ba zi (or not). But this is less crucial, since most people prefer that their child is born "with a better" life. And this area is considered as "nice to have" and not a "must-have.

Some of the interesting photos include "bricks" which are actually ceramic pillows! Look for two or three pictures of these bricks...

Yes, what you mentioned above, does help. Quote: Are the landscaping, the car porch and garage at the back also help the house situation which is between 2 road (small lane at the back, normal road at front)? Attached is the drawing to illustrate the situation better.

This question is similar to the concept found under this recent reply:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=24209&new= Quote: Katrina L. wrote: Hello Master Lee, For 2009, the West is afflicted with the flying star #2 sickness star. My bedroom is located in the East. When I lay down in bed, my head is pointed to the West because it's a good direction for me. Upon reading your response to a related post, you said that when it comes to flying stars, the focus should be the location of the flying stars and not the facing direction. In that case, is it still okay for me that when I am in bed, that my head is pointed towards the West even with the #2 flying star in the West?

1. Please check out this link (3 of 3 articles and graphics) on the rationale of having a certain number of mirrors:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=29&mid=10857&new= 2. Please note that having say one piece or three piece(s) of mirror are considere "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". Quote: Hella R. wrote: Hi! I recently started to redecorate our house, and try to go after the feng shui guidelines. My front door face north-east, and the wall next the door is east. I thought I want to put a nice mirror there, but I didn't had enough money for the one I really wanted, so my friends suggested the tile mirrors, which sounded good. I thought I can get creative. I got 15 1 foot by 1 foot mirrors, to make a design on the wall. It turned out to be nice, the mirrors are about a quarter inch apart from each other going from the baseboard and ending a little bit after the middle of the wall. My question is that I read that the mirror should be one piece. Can I fix it somehow without remove the mirrors from the wall? If I need to remove it I have to fix the whole wall. Thank you very much. 3. As mentioned earlier, it is nice to use a one piece or say 3 piece mirror. And your tiled mirror(s) are considered "not-so-nice" but it does not warrant for them to be removed since you had already installed it (them).

1. Under the Eight House (East/West Group) the best that can be done, here is:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on 2. Otherwise, leave it. As under Eight House concept, there is very limited "cure" for this concept. A holistic approach to Feng Shui is different, it looks into this concept, plus Flying Star, plus Shapes and Forms of the bedroom.

Quote: Aloysius C. wrote: I uses to face WEST direction in my work place which is my ShengChi direction. But this year STAR 2 the illnes star is in WEST direction can I still continue to face WEST or should I change direction to face SouthWest where STAR 6 located. From what I read, your work place seems to in a specific room or location. But if you are in the same location (no change), then flying star should be considered in that sector. And not where you face. For example, if you are seating in the West sector, and you can move to the South-West sector, then fine; you can actually if possible, still sit at SW facing West. It is not like "West is the #2 sector". And that one should not face #2. It is about which sector you are in. Don't misinterpret the same senario as Tai Sui or grand duke. Flying Star is about the sector that one is located in (your office).

1.Since, things went smoothly, you can either monitor the situation as often: "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" applies! 2. Although you had drawn a layout plan, for a proper analysis, often, the person's birthday, compass directions are often looked into. Thus, what you had provided is limited information. 3. Since you do not have your own office (room) or cubicle, it is much harder for any changes if any. Thus it is best that you monitor your situation, first. Quote: Stacey L. wrote: Hi Mr Lee, I am in the financial advisory business and my office is located at gateway west. SInce we moved from Parkview square at north bridge road, business went down alot so I read up on fengshui and approached some shops at FuLuShuo for advice. I applied the Bagua chart for my own desk as I do not have my own office or cubicle. I have attached the picture for your reference.I would like to know if anything needs to be changed as it's another year. For me business went quite smoothly after I applied these items. Please kindly advice, If you do need to take a look at the place what will be the charge. I am really concerned about success in business this 2009.
