Case Study 1: Stacks/units affected by afternoon sun 1. Many experienced home buyers and/or those who had ever lived in an afternoon sun home often are prepared not to choose such homes. 2. Parents who also have young children also should seriously think twice before buying such units. Unless of course, one says "what is the problem? I can always turn on the air-con for the kids". LOL

Please note the following: 1. "No news means good news". Thus no awards generally means fair or above ratings. 1.1. For example, often really bad sites are given "awards". Such as Daintree Residences. 2. Please note external surroundings of a development affect the ratings. 2.1. And even before the launch for sale of Parc Centros around the year 2012 and was quickly sold-out, the opposite plot was said to be a temporary bus interchange. Note the words TEMPORARY. But this temporary thing seems misleading. Today is 2019, the terminal is still operational at least 7 - 12 years already! 2.2. As such external factors do affect the awards, I can't be always re-evaluating the award IF and when the bus interchange is no more there. 2.3. What happens if the bus interchange is now gone? And my award is still there, seriously, I don't have the time to update the award. Which by then may be misleading. 3. "Hey! why is your rating of this site still fair! When the bus terminals has moved away!".

Many Feng Shui Masters in Singapore are actually a Feng Shui Emporium in Disguise! Ask: Must I buy from YOU?

1. [Below] Block 90 units are either Period 8 facing N3 (inwards facing stacks) or S3. For S3 = 190 degrees. 2. You wrote: Is it a concern if main door open to balcony? 2.1. Many units in this development has the main door open towards the balcony. This development is not alone. In many other ECs and condos often 30 to 40 percent also face this. 2.2. All new HDB generation flats around 2002 onwards also has the main door open towards (not to balcony) but to living room window(s). 2.3. If so, this means that at least 200,000 or more families staying in HDB flats can be in trouble? 2.4. Wah... like this... Everyone go cry foul, lah.. LOL! 3 My question to you is: if this is a concern, here. Would this also be a concen for every other units facing a similar situation. And there are lots, lots of identical cases around. 3.1. In Feng Shui, consideration of life style e.g. in many condos/ecs habit of closing the main door permanently once in or out of the house. There can be several other alternative (safe guards) if any to this. P.S. [Below a sample] Majority of HDB flats built after 2002 onwards have their main door open towards the LIVING/dining room windows:- For example: BTO Feb 2010 Punggol Crest.. From 2-room to 4-rooms.. all share this...

I see. Thank you so much for the explanation. Much appreciated. Reply: Feng Shui does not take into consideration house number. This has more to do with culture and superstition. As you know many Chinese = Cantonese dialect group don’t like the sound of 4 = die. 1= sure. So 4 x die + 1 = sure “to die”. However, there are some who felt that 4?maybe their lucky number. One man’s meat is another person’s poison! Overall, it has more to do with future resale value (if any). If some potential Chinese who were to view the property. In the past there quite a lot of Cantonese from Hong Kong who migrated to Canada. You may have to weigh this even if you and George are neutral to these numbers. Again, as mentioned, this is not really Feng Shui. Closer to a stigma of sorts.

Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, the various roof-lines even the sloping roof on the orange is not a threat. As the roofs are matt and should the afternoon sun shine onto them, would not become glaring. (Some would have come across a unit close to another block's whitewash wall. Often such walls may be glaring. Not so, here )
