Part 1 - Introduction 1. In preparation for the coming of Period 9, I have successful completed the overall review of the characteristics of all the 24 directions for this period lasting from 2024 to 2043. 2. The charts are for homes that T.O.P. on or after Chinese New Year 2024 onwards. 3. This resource is a stepping-stone for adding useful resources as and when it is useful for everyone. 4. Please note that initially, one needs to have some knowledge of Flying Star Feng Shui or Xuan Kong Fei Xing. 5. But if one were to read a few of these links, more or less, I hope it can help to have an appreciation of this subject. Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 NW2-3 facing home 1. NW [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. NW has the double auspicious current prosperity water wealth luck #9's. 1.2. Good if the unit has real water such as a swimming pool or pond at the frontage. 1.3. Can consider a water feature at the balcony or living room to activate this wealth luck. 2. NORTH vs WEST 2.1. Majority of units have either bedroom or living room either at North or West. 2.2. Given that North has the nasty Water Star #5 = misfortune/sickness. Best to avoid a bedroom in this sector. 2.3. If so, purchase a unit with the bedroom (especially Master bedroom) at West. Rather than at North. 3. CENTRE 3.1. Good that centre-point has clear space to take advantage of Water Star #1 = coming prosperity wealth luck. 3.2. This is better than if this area is locked up by a store-room or within a toilet. 4. WEST 4.1 West has an auspicious Mountain Star #1. Good if this is a place of activity such as part of living room, dining, study or a bedroom. 5. NE, EAST, SE & SOUTH 5.1 If a bedroom is located in any of these sectors, need to balance for health/wealth.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 NW1 facing home 1. NW (Frontage) 1.1. NW has the #2 = Sickness with #7 = "Theft of wealth" or rather loss of wealth. 1.2. Usually if one frontage is NW1, most likely the block also has units facing SE1 also. If so, do take a look at an SE1 chart. And with the layout plan(s); do compare which is more advantages to you. 1.3 Of course, many experienced buyers don't like units with afternoon sun. And often if a NW1 stack is unblocked, may get the afternoon sun at it's frontage, all year round! 2. SE 2.1. Often, for an apartment with frontage facing NW, the "rear" of the unit is SE. And usually, either a kitchen, service yard, air-con ledge or missing corner is located, here. 2.2. Thus since the double auspicious #9's are current auspicious wealth luck is at SE. Feng Shui refers to this as "Wealth luck is wasted, here". 3. CENTRE 3.1. Centrepoint has the auspicious Water star #1 = coming prosperity. 3.2. Thus it would be good if the centre-point of has clear-space. 4. EAST 4.1. Mountain Star #1 = coming prosperity is at this sector. 4.2. Good if a bedroom or study or open space is located, here. 5. SOUTH 5.1. Water Star #5 = Misfortune/sickness is located at this sector. 5.2. Best that this is not a bedroom. 6. NORTH, WEST & SW 6.1. Need to balance these sectors.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 W2-3 facing home 1. WEST (Frontage) 1.1. One of the worst Flying Star Frontage in Period 9. 1.2. As a nasty Mountain Star #5 = misfortune/sickness is located at this West sector. 1.3. Since most blocks in a development has both a W2-3 facing. Equally most of the time, there should also be a E2-3 facing. If I were you, I would want to also look at the E2-3 chart. And compare a W2-3 against a E2-3 chart. 2. NW vs SW 2.1 If the frontage is West: usually either the living room or master bedroom is at NW or SW. 2.2. Given that NW has the #3 = Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements vs SW with an auspicious Mountain Star #1 = coming prosperity. 2.3. It is strongly recommended that the Master bedroom be preferably located at SW = first choice. 2.4. Assuming that there is no choice but get a layout with master bedroom at NW, then not the end of the world. Need to balance the bedroom at NW. 3. NE 3.1. The 2nd #5 = Misfortune/sickness is located at NE. 3.2. Ideally, best not to have a bedroom within this sector. 4. CENTRE 4.1. #2 = sickness is located at the centre-point. Best not to have open space at the centre-point of the unit. 4.2. Ideally, this should be a passageway to the bedrooms or a household shelter. 5. NORTH, NW & SW 5.1. Best if the toilet(s), kitchen, yard at any of these sectors. 5.2. Best to balance these sectors.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 W1 facing home 1. WEST [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. Flying Star Feng Shui does not consider the afternoon sun. Thus do take note that many experienced buyers would often skip purchasing such a unit. Unless there are other neighbouring stacks that shield it from afternoon sun. Else, will forever receive direct afternoon sun all year round. 2. NW vs SW 2.1. For a West facing unit. Often either the living room or master bedroom is at NW or SW. 2.2. Since SW has a nasty Water star #5 = misfortune/sickness. Best to avoid a bedroom, here. 2.3. Thus, a unit with the master bedroom at NW (for health reasons) is preferred. But do take note that if the unit's master bedroom wall faced with afternoon sun. Then often on a sunny day, the NW wall may soak in heat and can even ooze out at 7pm to 8pm in the evening. Unless one can afford to turn on air-con, then this is a consideration. 3. EAST 3.1. Often for a West facing unit, the kitchen or service yard or air-con ledge may be at this sector. 3.2. It is a plus given that the other Mountain star #5 = misfortune/sickness is at this area. And not in a bedroom. 4. CENTRE 4.1. Good if the centre-point of the unit DOES NOT have clear space. As it has a #2 = sickness with #7 = "theft of wealth", here. 5. NE 5.1. It would be nice if this sector has a bedroom, study or open space. Given that it has an auspicious Mountain star #1 coming prosperity wealth star. 6. NORTH, SOUTH & SE 6.1. If open space or bedroom. Try to balance these sectors for better Feng Shui luck.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 SW2-3 facing home 1. SW (Frontage) 1.1. SW frontage has the Water Star #3 = Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglement star. 1.2. Do check if the development has any units facing NE? As often, if a block has units that face SW2-3; there is a high chance that there may be units facing NE2-3. 1.3. This is because NE2-3 has the double auspicious #9's current prosperity wealth luck at it's frontage. 1.4. While for SW2-3 unit, the NE is usually the rear of the unit such as the kitchen or the service yard or the air-con ledge or missing corner (if applicable). 1.5. Thus do take a look with the layout to see if this stack/unit is more suitable or not. 2. SOUTH vs WEST 2.1. Since both South and West sectors have equally good Flying Star numbers of #1 = coming prosperity. 2.2. The only difference is that one is a Water Star #1. The other Mountain Star #1. 2.3. Ideally, South having the Water Star #1 is more suited at the living room. While West is more suited as a master bedroom. 2.4. However, it is still okay especially if both Mr & Mrs are both East group persons to have the bedroom at South. And living room at West. 3. CENTRE 3.1. As the centre-point has the #3 = Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements, it is more favorable if the centre-point of the home DOES NOT have clear-space. 3.2. Thus good if this area is the passageway leading to the bedrooms or the house-hold shelter. 4. EAST & SE 4.1. Both East & SE each have a #5 = Misfortune/sickness. 4.2. Thus ideally, if possible, avoid a bedroom in either of the sectors. 5. NORTH & NW 5.1. Each has a #2 = sickness. Need to balance these sectors.
-
1. SOUTH (Frontage) vs NORTH 1.1. South frontage has the Mountain Star #1 = coming prosperity. 1.2. Although this is an auspicious sector. However, do take note that this #1 is a mountain star. Thus, ideally, best that the frontage faces another unit in another block. And preferably no water position. 1.3. Usually a block would have a unit facing S2-3. And on the opposite site units face N2-3. Why don't you also check out units that face N2-3. The reason is because, N2-3 under Period 9, has the double auspicious #9's current prosperity wealth stars at it's frontage. 1.4. While for a South facing unit; North sector is usually the kitchen or service yard or air-con ledge or even missing corner (if any). Thus often the term "Current prosperity wealth luck is wasted at the rear of this unit". 2. SE vs SW 2.1. For a South facing unit, usually the living room or master bedroom can either be at one of these sectors. 2.2. It is still preferred that the master bedroom is located at SE. As SE has the auspicious water wealth #1 = coming prosperity. While SW has a #3 = quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglement. Even if SW is suitable to a West group person. 2.3. Some Feng Shui practitioners overlook Para 2.2. Thus, may simply say that SW suits a West group, so make it their master bedroom. So long as the bedroom is balanced and #3 neutralised, then this is acceptable or OK. 3. CENTRE 3.1. The nasty Mountain star #5 = misfortune/sickness is located at the centre-point of the unit. 3.2. Thus it is preferred that this #5 is locked up. Thus excellent if it is in the household shelter. 3.3. Consider twice if the unit has clear-space at the centre-point of the unit. Else, may expect lots of misfortune/sickness to be-fall the unit. 4. NW 4.1. For a South facing unit, often, there is a high unlucky chance that the kitchen/stove is located a NW. If so, this unit is inauspicious especially for the Male head-breadwinner. Search for "Fire-at-Heaven's" to understand why. 4.2. Good it this is not a bedroom or study. As the other water star #5 = misfortune/sickness is located in this sector.
-
1. South [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. South or Frontage has the double auspicious #9's current prosperity wealth stars. 1.2. Good if there is real water such as a swimming pool or pond if this is a condo / EC. 1.3. May consider a water position in the living room or balcony to activate the the double #9's. 2. SE vs SW 2.1. Unfortunately, SE has the nasty #5 misfortune sickness star. While SW has a lesser #2 sickness partially reduced by #7 = weak metal element. 2.2. As one spends substantial time in a bedroom, the choice to have the bedroom at SW. While the SE being the living room area. (Need to balance both sectors). 3. CENTRE 3.1. Mountain star #5 misfortune/sickness at the centre-point of the unit. 3.2. Thus, good if this #5 is locked up e.g. in a household shelter or at least at the passageway leading into the bedroom. 3.3. Avoid a unit with open space at the centre of the unit. 4. NORTH 4.1. Okay for the rear of the unit to have a Mountain star #1 = coming prosperity wealth star. 5. NE 5.1 A water star #1 = coming prosperity located at NE. 5.2. Good if this is a bedroom or living or dining room or clear-space area. 6. NE, EAST & NW 6.1. If bedroom(s) are located in any of these sectors, need to balance these.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 SE2-3 facing home 1. SE (Frontage) 1.1. SE2-3 has a combination of #2 = sickness with #7 = "theft or loss of wealth". Fortunately, #7 being a weak metal element can help to further weaken #2. 1.2. Good if the frontage has a water position. As this water position: such as a swimming pool, pond or even a water feature, can further reduce and neutralise #2 with #7. 1.3. In a block, if there are stacks facing SE2-3. Usually, on the opposite site, there should be units facing NW2-3 respectively. 1.4. Other than a separate issue of daily afternoon sun at the frontage, one may consider studying a NW2-3 facing unit. 1.5. Given that a NW2-3 has the double auspicious current prosperity wealth luck at it's NW frontage. 1.6. BUT please read Para 2. below on the inauspicious "Fire-at-Heaven's Gate - if it is at NW!" 2. NW 2.1 If the frontage is SE, then usually NW is the rear of the unit. Often either the Kitchen or service yard or air-con ledge is located at this sector. 2.2 Under Flying Star Feng Shui, here NW with the double auspicious #9's current prosperity wealth luck is "Wasted at the rear of the unit." 2.3. If the kitchen especially the stove is at NW, then this is inauspicious. Search for the inauspicous "NW & Fire @ Heaven's gate" 3. EAST vs SOUTH 3.1. For a SE facing unit, usually either the living room or master bedroom is at East or South. 3.2. Since both sectors have equal set of Flying star numbers either [3] + [6] or vice versa, no issue if the master bedroom is locatd at East or South sector. 4. CENTRE 4.1 Centre-point has the auspicious Mountain Star #1. 4.2. Thus good even if there is open or clear space at the centre-point. 5. NORTH 5.1. North has the other nasty #5 = misfortune sickness. Thus not ideal if it is a bedroom. Where possible, try to disarm this #5 whichever the sector it is in. 6. NE & EAST 6.1. Try to balance these two sector since each have their respective unlucky Flying Stars. 7. WEST 7.1. West sector has another #1 or coming prosperity wealth star. Good if it is a bedroom, study or clear space.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 SE1 facing home 1. SE [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1 SE has the double auspicious current prosperity wealth star #9's. 1.2. Good if the frontage of this house has real water such as a swimming pool or a pond or any other pool of water. Especially if it is a condo/EC. 1.3. Alternatively, can consider a water feature at the balcony or living room to activate the current prosperity water stars. 2. EAST vs SOUTH 2.1. Both sectors are suitable to an East group person. 2.2. However as South has the nasty Mountain star #5 misfortune/sickness. Best that a bedroom is avoided in this sector. If so, it is preferred that the Master bedroom be located at East. 2.3. East has a Water Star #1 coming prosperity star. Thus, recommended that the master bedroom be located in this sector. 3. NE 3.1. #5 = Misfortune/sickness. Ideally this is not a bedroom. If other areas, best to balance this sector. 4. CENTRE 4.1. The layout of this home can benefit with clear-space at the centre-point area of the home. 5. NORTH, NW, SW & WEST 5.1. If a bedroom or bedrooms are located in any of these three sectors. Need to balance for health. 5.2. Better still if the kitchen, service yard, air-con ledge, toilet(s) and missing corner (if any) are located in any of these four sectors.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 E2-3 facing home 1. East [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. Frontage has the double auspicious #9 wealth stars. 1.2. Good if the unit is facing a real water position such as a swimming pool or a reflecting pool or eco-water garden. If this is a condo /EC. 1.3. If no real water and if there is a balcony, one can consider having a water feature to active this auspicious wealth stars. 2. NE vs SE 2.1. Often either the Living Room or Bedroom is at NE or SE and vice-versa. 2.2. As NE has the nasty Mountain Star #5 = Misfortune/sickness inauspicious stars. Best that it is not in an enclosed a Master bedroom or bedroom. If so, select a unit with the Master bedroom instead at SE. 2.3. SE sector has a Mountain Star #1 representing coming prosperity. And it is good if the Master bedroom is located with a good star. 2.4. SE sector is good for an East group person. Even if NE is favourable for a West group person, it is still better for the Master bedroom to be located at SE = better choice in this case. 3. CENTRE 3.1. The centre has #2 = sickness. Fortunately #7 although a bad star itself; but being a weak metal element; it helps to lessen #2 sickness (weak earth element). A good combination. 3.2. Preference if this is the passageway leading into the bedroom or an enclosed area. 3.3. But if this area is open space, still sustainable due to Para 3.1. above. 4. SW 4.1. Water star #1 is the coming prosperity wealth star. Not perfect given that for many flats this is either the Service Yard, Kitchen or Air-con Ledge or missing corner. Will not adversely after the Flying Stars. Given that #1 is the future prosperity wealth luck star. 5. NW & SW 5.1. #3 represents Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements. 5.2. Good if NW &/or SW is either the dining area, kitchen, toilet(s). 5.3. If NW or SW is a bedroom. Need to balance these two rooms.
-
1. NE [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. The facing direction has the double auspicious #9's or current prosperity wealth stars at it's frontage. 1.2. It would be excellent if there is a pool of water at this frontage to activate it. 1.3. Alternatively, one can consider a water position if there is a balcony, here. 2. NORTH vs EAST 2.1. If this is an apartment, usually the Master bedroom or Living Room is either at North or East sector or vice-versa. 2.2. Since North and East belongs to the East group person, for a West group person, one can still see if either falls in a West group's: Irritation, Spook or worse-off Death or Disaster. A West group person, may consider the bedroom at his/her lesser "Irritation or Spook" sectors rather than "Death or Disaster". 2.3. Given that East has the nasty #5 = misfortune/sickness. While North has the lesser #2 = sickness; it is thus better to avoid the #5 in a bedroom. 2.4. As we found out that East has #5. It is still better in this instance to have the Master bedroom at North sector. And locate the Living room at East sector instead: for both East or West group main breadinner(s). 3. SE 3.1. Ideally, bedroom is not located in the SE sector. Hopefully, this is the kitchen or yard or air-con ledge or even a missing corner. Not so bad if SE is the dining room area. 4. CENTRE 4.1. Good if the Centre of the house is the corridor leading to the bedrooms or directly in-front of the household shelter or the door leading into the shared toilet. 4.2. Thus not ideal if the Centre has clear space. Equally inauspicious if the stove is directly at the centre-point. Neither should the sink or the WC be located, here. 5. WEST & SOUTH 5.1. Both West & South have the auspicious coming prosperity #1 wealth star. Nice if this is a bedroom, study room or open-space. 5.2. Otherwise, since this is the coming prosperity wealth luck, no choice if it is in a confine area such as a toilet or yard. Still acceptable. 6. NW 6.1. Hopefully, this is not kitchen. If so, it can be affected by "Fire at Heaven's Gate". Preferably, it is the dining area or open space. Like North, it can still sustain a bedroom. But need to balance this bedroom for health.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 SW1 facing home 1. SW [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. It will be an added bonus if the frontage has real water such as facing a swimming pool in a condo/EC. 1.2. If no real water, the next best choice is substantial clear-space also at it's frontage. 1.3. Often if a development has SW1 facing stacks/units. Equally often the same block may also have units facing NE1. 1.4. For me, often, if I were to purchase a unit, definitely: what attracts me (FIRST) is a unit with the double auspicious #9's (in 2024 to 2043)! 1.5. For a NE1 chart, unfortunately, the double auspicious #9's representing current prosperity wealth luck is wasted at it's "rear". To understand more, please go to this:- 1.6. NE1 is a flip of SW1, for this reason, a SW1 unit is preferred over a NE1 unit. 2. WEST vs SOUTH 2.1. The concept of 阳宅三要 or Yang Zhai San Yao The three major considerations in a home: Main Door or Frontage, the Kitchen & Bedroom. 2.2. Often for this facing, the either the Living Room or Master Bedroom is at West or South. 2.3. If one is a West Group person, then better if the bedroom is located at West. For an East Group, it is preferred for the bedroom to be at South. 2.4. Wait! Unfortunately at West sector there is a nasty #5 = misfortune sickness. While at South a #2 = sickness. With a #2 + #7 combination, the #2 is lessen. And easy to cure as compared to the West. 2.5. If Para 2.4. is also considered; for this reason, a West group person may be "forced" to consider the Master Bedroom at South. 2.6. Thus, this is how one should look at the whole picture before "jumping the gun!". 3. NW 3.1. If possible, avoid a bedroom, here. Good if this is the Master Toilet, Air-con ledge or missing corner. 3.2. Between a bedroom, here or an open space such as the living room or dining, preference is an open space within this sector. Not a confined bedroom. A household shelter or Bath/WC is equally good, here. 4. CENTRE 4.1. Ideally, there should not be clear space at the centre-point of the home. 4.2. Good if this is the passageway leading towards the bedrooms or in-front of the household shelter or toilet door. 4.3. But less than ideal if the stove or a sink or WC is here. 5. NORTH & EAST 5.1. #1 = Coming Prosperity. Under Strategic Planning, this is like 5 to 10 year luck towards the future. 5.2. Both bedrooms have an #1 each. If so, good if this is a bedroom or study or open space. 5.3. Since this is not the frontage, no choice if it is the rest of the other areas in a home.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of Period 9 NE1 facing home 1. NE 1.1. Mountain Star #3 = Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements at the Frontage of the unit. Fortunately, the Water Star #6 will lessen the impact. As #6 = Strong metal does help to minimise this. 2. SW 2.1. Usually SW is considered as the rear of the unit. If so, often this would often be the Kitchen, Service Yard or Air-con ledge or even missing corner. 2.2. If so, the double auspicious #9's current prosperity luck is said to be wasted at the "rear" of the unit. Please note that a SW1 is a flip of NE1 chart:- 2.3. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, if there is a choice between a NE1 or SW1 unit? SW1 is preferred. 2.4. As seen from the above chart, the double auspicious #9's for a SW1 chart is at it's frontage or facing direction. 2.5. Please go to the review of SW1 to understand it's characteristics to see if other sectors of a layout is better or worse-off. Given that there is also some disadvantages vs a NE1 chart. 3. North vs East 3.1. Often, for a flat, the bedroom(s) are either at North or East sector. 3.2. For this facing, no issue if the unit has a bedroom at North or East sector. 3.3. Given that both sectors has a #1 = coming prosperity star each. 3.4. However, at North, the #1 is a Mountain Star. While at East this is the #1 Water Star. 3.5. Given this understanding, in this case, it is preferred that the bedroom be located at North: where an enclosed room is favoured by the Mountain Star #1. 3.6. #1 Water Star is auspicious at an open space area such as the Living or Dining room area. 4. NW & West 4.1. #5 = Misfortune/sickness 4.2. Ideally, NW or West should not be a bedroom or bedrooms. 4.3. Although not perfect, but NW & West as a last resort could be in the Living or Dining Room area. 4.4. Of course, it would be good if NW & West are at the Toilet and/or missing corner. 5. Centre 5.1. #3 = Quarrels, conflicits & legal entanglements. 5.2. Good if the Centre does not have clear space. Good if it is a household shelter or at the passageway leading into the bedrooms or just outside the shared toilet. 5.3. No matter how, it is inauspicious if the centre has a stove or sink or WC.
-
Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 N2-3 facing home 1. NORTH [Frontage has the auspicious double #9's] 1.1. North or the frontage has the very auspicious double auspicious #9's current prosperity wealth stars. 1.2. It is good if this frontage has a pool of water at it's frontage especially if this is a condo/EC. 1.3. If no water, may consider adding a water position at this frontage to enhance wealth luck. 2. NW vs NE 2.1. Usually, for a North facing frontage; often the living room or the master bedroom will be either at NW or NE sector. 2.2. NW sector has a Mountain star #5 = misfortune/sickness. Thus, better that this nasty star is not locked-up in the master bedroom. 2.3. NE sector has a #2 sickness with #7 weak metal element. The #7 can help to further weaken the #2 sickness star. Thus this sector is much, much better as a bedroom than NW sector. 3. CENTRE 3.1. The centre-point of the unit has a nasty Mountain Star #5 = misfortune/sickness. 3.2. Good if the centre of the unit is a house-hold shelter or a passageway leading towards the bedroom. 3.4. Try to avoid open or clear space at the centre-point of the home. Here, it is preferred that the #5 is locked up. 4. SW 4.1. SW has the Mountain Star #1 = coming prosperity. Good if the main door is located at this sector. 5. SOUTH 5.1. Not an issue with the kitchen, yard or air-con ledge located at the rear of the unit. 6. EAST, SE & WEST 6.1. Best to balance these sectors for better luck.

Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of P9 E1 facing home 1. East 1.1. Water Star #5 = Misfortune sickness with #4 = Average "weak" Wood. Although wood helps to reduce #5, it is not enough to neutralise it. 1.2. Frontage at East is not a good facing direction. However, it would be advantages if the unit faces a pool of water. 1.3. Or alternatively, no real water, one might want to consider placing a water feature at the balcony (if any). 1.4. Here, a water position at the frontage is not to enhance luck. But rather used here to try and DROWN the bad #5! 1.5. With such a facing direction it is even more crucial to seriously apply this concept of 阳宅三要 or Yang Zhai San Yao:- 1.5.1. The three major considerations in a home: Main Door or Frontage, the Kitchen & Bedroom. 1.5.2. If possible all these three factors should be highly favourable. To lessen the burden of a poor Flying Stars frontage! 1.6. In many new developments, if there is an E1 stack/unit, often within the same block, there are also W1 stacks/units. 1.7. If so, try to see understand a W1 unit. And see which is better. 1.8. I know, I know. W1 stacks are often the last to be sold. 1.8.1. As based on common sense, many who had experienced staying in a West home in SGP, might want to avoid such a unit like the plaque = direct afternoon sun. 1.8.2. Often = Hot, hot, hot! And often, all bedrooms including children's rooms are very hot in the afternoon and even at night: if the heat soaks into the walls and ooze out. 1.9. Under Flying Star Feng Shui: W1 is a flip of E1. And the only major advantage is that W1 has double combined #9 auspicious wealth luck at it's frontage: 1.9.1. Note: Ignore a W1 if you find it not worth it! Wealth but many years of "direct afternoon sun". 2. NE vs SE 2.1. In many instances for an East facing unit, either the Master bedroom or Living Room is either located at NE or SE. 2.2. Based on the 阳宅三要 or Yang Zhai San Yao concept. It is preferred that a West Group breadwinner sleeps in a good sector such as NE. As this sector favours the West group person. While SE favours an East group person. 2.3. SE = #3 represents Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements. Thus even if one is an East group person and favours SE, one might want to consider this. Although it can be neutralised. But why take the chance, here. For this reason, An East group person may want to consider even a NE bedroom. (Not as bad as the devil or the deep blue sea. More like the devil's associate vs the knee deep water, that's all). 3. West 3.1. Often, if the frontage is East. West is considered as the "rear" the unit. Usually, the kitchen or service yard or toilet or air-con ledge is located, here. 3.2. West has the #9's x 2 = Double auspicious current prosperity wealth luck. Thus most of the time: "Wealth luck is wasted at this area e.g. a service yard". 3.3. It is highly unusual for a flat to have a bedroom or study, here. If so, this is at least a good compromise. 4. NW 4. There is a Water Star #1. Good (or nice-to) if this is an open space such as part of the living room or dining room.
-
Part 2 - Case Study & the Key Considerations of a N1 P9 facing home 1. North 1.1. Frontage of this home: For flats usually standing inside the living room looking outwards. 1.2. #1 represents the coming prosperity (2044 to 2063) Water wealth star. 1.3 Even if this is the coming prosperity: it is still favourable to have this #1 at the frontage. While #8 represents Past prosperity (2004 to 2023) 1.4. As #1 is the Water star, good that this home (if a condo or EC) has the advantage of facing REAL water. 1.5. If frontage has no real water, perhaps consider a water feature especially (it there is a balcony) for this home. 2. South 2.1. Where is the Current Prosperity Wealth Luck for such a home? 2.2. Often for majority of most homes: if the facing direction of a home is North, most likely the kitchen or the service yard is at South sector. 2.3 If so, the double auspicious #9’s representing current prosperity are wasted at the “rear” of the home. 3. N1 vs S1 Flying Star chart: In general S1 is better! An S1 chart is a flip of an N1 chart. Here, the facing direction S1 has the double auspicious current prosperity #9's:- 3.1. Thus one consideration especially for an East Group person (North, South, East or SE) is to consider a S1 facing instead of a N1 unit. On the assumption that this development has a choice of between a N1 or S1 facing stacks/units. 3.2. Please note that do not always choose S1 as there are also other facings with favourable luck. 3.3. Why choose S1 vs N1? For a S1 facing, often the good thing is that the double auspicious #9’s is often now at the frontage and not wasted at the rear of the unit. However, for an S1 usually in many cases the kitchen may either be at NE or NW sector. 3.4. The main caution for a S1 facing is: if possible to avoid a kitchen at NW = inauspicious Fire at Heaven's gate. 3.5. Why some homes are badly affected by Fire at Heaven's gate?Case study on this can be found under this link:- 4. Centrepoint of the home 4.1. As the centre has a #5 = misfortune / sickness: it is good if this is "locked" up. 4.2. Here, it is good that the centre has a store-room or narrow confines of the corridor leading towards the bedrooms or just outside the common toilet. It is still not ideal for the centre to have a stove, sink or WC. 4.3. Thus if possible avoid a home with open space at the centre area. 4.4. Traditionally, some practitioners recommend hanging a wind-chime, here. Frankly, this is not necessary if Para 3.2. above is met. 5. NE vs NW 5.1. Favourable if a bedroom or bedrooms are located in this sector. As there is an auspicious coming prosperity Mountain Star #1 in this sector. 5.2. Often, for this facing: either the living room or master bedroom is at NE or NW sector. Both sectors favour a West Group Person. 5.3. As we usually spent more time in a bedroom, it is thus preferred that the bedroom is at NE. As NW sector has : #3 represents quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements. (To disarm this in the living room using the fire element.) 6. SE 6.1. Mountain Star #9 = misfortune/sickness is at SE. Thus, it would be nice that this is not a bedroom. Although a study (not perfect) is better than a bedroom, here. Good if this is the Master Toilet or often a missing corner or Air-con ledge.
