Part 3: Many experienced occupants of homes would certainly appreciate the overhanging reinforced (RC) roofs. 1. The red outline shows the extended roof-lines. Not perfect, could have been wider.. but nevertheless a god send especially for higher units .. where often, the occupants could still leave their windows slightly opened even during rainy days. 2. Such finer touches should be appreciated provided that especially the pigeon population (if any) within that area has been culled. Else, it can be a nightmare of the dried up bird-shit... Below: the yellow hightlights with the red lines shows the yellow areas may have some rain protection especially during light rainfalls (without much windy conditions)...

Part 2A: Under Shapes and forms Feng Shui, the worst stack is that of Block 5 stack #02 1. The frontage of stack #02 including 90 percent of the living room balconyfaces the side of Block 7 stack #11 at such a close proximity. 2. In addition, the bottle-neck at stacks #02 as shown by a red "X" marking means that during strong windy days, it can affect both health and wealth of the occupants living in stack #02. 3. The master bedroom windows of stack #02 virtually faces the yard or is overlooking into the yard of stack #11 and also even that of stack #12. 4. For stack #01, from this photo, the entrance and stack #01 is quite a distance away. 4.1. Commonsense still says that it is best to purchase at least the 3rd storey or better the 4th storey or higher to avoid the drop-off and often vehicles may have their engines still turned on at this area. Part 2B: Poor Shapes and forms of Block 17 stacks 37, 38, 39 & 40 are as equally unfavourable as Block 5's stack 02:- 1. Block 17 stacks #37, #38, #39 & #40 equally also faces the side of Block 19 stacks #49 and #59. 2. Equally, there is a bottle-neck at the frontages of stacks #37, #38, #39 & #40. In windy conditions, can affect health and weath of the occupants. 3. Purple arrows shows another form of poison arrow aimed towards either stack #37, #39 and #40. 4. Common sense also says that these stacks look into the yard area of stacks #49 and #50. Where often brooms mobs, air-con compressor, kitchen/ washing machine / clothes may be hung.

The Lilium at 25 How Sun Road with a total of 80 units
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Around Singapore
I have began to a review of The Gazania at this link:- Frankly, it is not ideal to do a side-by-side comparison of these two developments. As often each has it's own merits and demerits. Usually, I will try to highlight certain observations and hopefully share it, here. Two different plots, two different circumstances... -

Depending on a sector, a simple bowl filled with coins and red packets can even be used for certain wealth locations. These are everyday or common things that don’t need to costs an arm or a leg ? as sold by some unscrupulous persons!

Note: * Extracted as a learning resource * with proper Source and Credit in the photo:- These are some considerations: 1. A type of beam? Is it load bearing? 1.1. Most of the time, a trapezoid roof-line mainly occurs when a space is e.g. the attic of a home, where the inverted V shaped roof of the home is. 1.2. Thus most likely, this apartment is the highest unit. 1.3. Scientifically, this trapezoid false ceiling or slope is non-load bearing thus really no major concern. 2. Common sense or call it Common sense Feng Shui it does not matter... 2.1. It depends on the height of the space and the lowest point of the trapezoid. For example: space to move without having to bend one's body to accommodate the low ceiling? Again another consideration is the height of the occupants in relation to space around this trapezoid. 2.2 The highest unit often may be prone to leaking roofs often due to wear and tear. 2.3 In some countries, where the roofs use wooden pillars, there were instances where termites caused damage to the wooden beams. 2.4 And common sense says that such a nicely renovated "attic" unit may have water damage. And even need to have costly renovations. 3. Stigma attached to a sloping roof-line. 3.1. If you are kinda concerned with this trapezoid, there will equally be others who for one reason or another feel almost the same way. 3.2 Often, can never change such person's mind-set. If so, when it may be time to put this unit on the market... one may face this same "stigma". Ultimately... a no sale or sometimes even have to let go at perhaps lower price? 4. Feng Shui is also based on science. And as I mentioned, there is really no load bearing issue. Thus in pure Feng Shui is not an issue. But go convince someone who has a "fixed" mind-set that considers it to be inauspicious. 5. Unfortunately, also in Feng Shui, there are lots of Indian chiefs. And you may equally find some Feng Shui Masters that equally "scream" = inauspicious. Nevermind that it is not science. LOL! 6. If in doubt, try don't buy. Feng Shui however, does not take inconsideration the price factor. Perhaps in your heart you may just say: "This home is the most affordable as compared to many others". Frankly, this ain't Feng Shui. This has more to do with individual financial decisions.

Part 2: Poor Shapes and Forms of 2 - Bedroom Type 2BR DK - 1 Block 8B stack #25 Rarely if any one finds a toilet smack close to the middle of the home. And if one were to consider each a dual-key unit; even more so that the toilet / WC is next to each unit's main entrance door: Can this affect the Feng Shui? If one is uncertain, may look at doing a Triage:- https://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Feng_Shui_Triage And the concept of squeezing out luck from the home:-https://www.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks -

Part 16: Case Study of a Balcony/PES with only Three Panel Sliding Doors + more of a "pain-in-the-neck" 1. This photo is from The Terrace at Punggol which had just T.O.P. 1.1 Three panel sliding doors at the balcony/PES:- 2. As the size of flats gets smaller and smaller. There is a surge of flats with balconies that are only three (3) panels instead of the more common four (4) panels found in older condos, ECs and even HDB flats. 3. The benefit of 4 panels means that the openings are exactly at the middle. And the panels can slide to each side for ease of entry and exit of the living room/balcony. 4. Not anymore if there are instead three panels. 5. If so, it is thus not possible to have a large sofa or place it too close to the balcony sliding door(s). Plus the TV console or cabinets cannot be too thick or fully cover the sliding door panel on the other side of the sofa location. 6. Thus, this means that one has to seriously consider not only the length of the sofa but also the height of the arm-chair and the width of it. Make sure that it does not block the lock mechanism at the sofa side and vice-versa. 7. Another plus of a four panel sliding door means that often one may still leave ajar or a gap and not fully close the sliding panels. But for a three panel door; often than not the opening is close to the edge of the roof-line. And often, this is the first area where heavy winds and rains may come in. 8. For example: Sol Acres development has similar three (3) panels:- (Note: This is an acutal photo from The Terrace EC Block 88 ground floor unit PES) 9. More: An added bonus if a unit has an outdoor power socket and water-point. 10. One will only know if there is a water point or outdoor power switch after collection of keys. As often, this is not mentioned in the sales brochure. But an added bonus if your new unit has them:- 10. A Four panels balcony sliding doors. (Location: Bellewaters EC) 10.1 The advantage of this four panel balcony sliding door means that not only the middle two panels can be opened; but also either of the side or corner panels can also be opened. 10.2 Thus it incorporates the best of both worlds of the three panels with this four panel model. 11. Take a look at this sample Piermont Grand 3 Bedrooom Deluxe Type A3a and type A3a-Penthouse unit:- 11.1. Above: the sliding panels locks are at A and B not x for both the Living Room and Master bedroom. 11.2. Note: This has more to do with a pain-in-the-neck than a Feng Shui issue. 11.3. Furthermore, nowadays as most Master Bedrooms have a balcony, sliding door panels are installed. Instead of the more practical casement windows. Here, most of the time, it can be a hassle to leave the windows open.. unless one perhaps install a zip-track external blinds.

Part 15: Potential Unit Interior Poison Arrow(s) from sharp corners 1. For example, so long as one does not sleep along the RED arrow line, no issue. However, this is the reason why where possible a bedroom should be as rectangular as possible to avoid such things. 2. Equally the purple arrow is not a threat if one does not sit along the purple arrow line...

Part 14: Is it okay for the stove to be facing the kitchen door opening? 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui it would be preferred that one's back should not be facing the kitchen door opening. 1.1. In fact, for all of these three layout plans, one will be standing to cook on the stove with one's back facing the kitchen door especially the 5 Bedroom Premium Type C2 and Type C2-PH. 2. Should I be concerned with this? 2.1. For the 4 and 5 Bedroom Premium units, it can be a double edged sword if the stove and sink are changed. 2.2. If so, in an event of the fire starting at the stove; more likely heat may be inflamed and there is a possibility of having to exit the unit via the balcony or bedroom windows instead of through the main door. 2.3. Under symbolism, some Feng Shui practitioners may be concerned that "wealth" may flow out of the kitchen. As it would be preferred that the stove faces a wall on the opposite side and not the kitchen door opening. 3. Common sense Feng Shui. 3.1. Many Feng Shui often don't link common sense considerations. And immediately gravitate this concern with poor Feng Shui. 3.2. What is this you are referring to? 3.3. We do not have eyes behind our back. Thus, when cooking, one could be handling hot stuffs and even on occasions handle hot liquid. 3.4. Thus there could be a remote chance that one may be frighten or get a shock from someone or even our pet etc... 3.5. Because of this, some simply lump this as a Feng Shui issue or concern.

Numerous practitioners of Feng Shui pose as legitimate Masters, when in reality they are nothing more than a commercial establishment selling Feng Shui products. They often prey on individuals' desires for material gain, prompting them to question whether they must make a purchase exclusively from them.
