A quick glance seems like either the Sharp corners cancel out each other or even if it does not, may not be an issue; As the poison arrow (if any) are at the rear of the unit. Such as more often the yard, utility or kitchen area. It is not like it is aimed towards a living room opening. However, if there is a bedroom window at this “rear” of the unit, drawing the day curtains does help.

Case Study: For under construction homes, sometimes a layout plan may have to be mirrored to reflect the correct orientation / compass direction:

Quite busy.. so unable to confirm they are S2 or notYes, indeed even locally in Singapore, metallic roofs are popular, especially for private small developments. And it is the only material that can be curved. Frankly, not an issue. As we are at the mercy of the construction materials in our home. For eg. Some homes have brick concrete structures. While others are wooden homes etc...Case Study: Always look at the "fine print!" (Layout actually needs to be mirrored!). As "eye-ball" method alone may not be good enough! Yes, you are absolutely correct. As a quick eye-ball method is not enough-:) One further step is needed. To look closely at the layout to the site-plan: one should not assume that the layout provided is always correct. It has to be MIRRORED! Thus a quick glance of looking at the layout facing South and a quick zoom in is not enough! Once, the layout is mirrored, then it tells a different story. The kitchen then is at NE. Thanks for pointing this out. When I mirrored the layout, indeed the kitchen is now at NE:- This photo was actually taken at the showflat:- Yesterday, one of my past client also bought the exact stack.. and then called me.. as I also based on this quick glance told her that the kitchen was at NW. Later, will whatsapp to tell her the good news. Thus the morale of the storey is: "Sometimes a quick glance and depending on what was furnished is not good enough. One should also don't simply trust the info provided and actually see if the layout plan need to be mirrored or not."

Many other developments chose rounded bollard lights… but this developer decided to go with square lights instead. And again, they’ve even purposely tilted them at a sharp angle of around an odd 30 degrees… perhaps the workmanship on the placement of this bollard wasn’t the best. Let’s really hope no one trips and…Is the block signage ridiculously short…? The lavender-coloured plants are overgrown and cover close to one-third of the pathway, and the paths are too curved. Especially in the last photo, there’s a fix that can be done. Seriously, I hope the developer has learned a lesson here and gives themselves a good talking-to, and makes sure the next development is more user-friendly. It’s like the saying goes: “You stay there, but the developer and their families don’t.” Also, taking a cue from Treasure Crest, that development is really friendly towards the guards, with a huge overhang to shade their guardroom. It’s a pity for the guards here. They’re human beings too, and their guardroom faces the afternoon sun. Many of them already show signs of sun tanning… and in the long run, they may even develop accelerated cataracts… but anyway, it’s not the subsidiary proprietor’s or resident’s problem, right? 🙁 Please note that these comments are not directly about Feng Shui… until bad luck happens! If you are a subsidiary proprietor (SP), please come together and approach the developer to make things as good as they can. Especially those sharp signages and more. It’s totally unnecessary and unacceptable, and it could have been done right in the first place.
Who would design something like this? A dangerous angled railing points toward the pathway... I really hope no one trips and falls. Instead of a fall where you get back up, this is a fall, an ouch—and never get up... Narrow pathway with metal rails sticking out and really standing out. Not very child-safe. In Hokkien, it’s Seow! Ah – means crazy lah!
This isn’t as bad, especially considering other areas that need more attention. Narrow 90-degree bend here, so please do keep a close watch on toddlers moving around this area/bend. Narrow 90-degree turn here:
This development isn’t very friendly for toddlers, with many uneven pathways and tight turns. I really hope no one gets injured in this development—touch wood! Personally, I wouldn’t want to bring any child aged 2 to 5 anywhere near this place. In my opinion, it’s an accident waiting to happen. By then, the planners and the developer will probably have already washed their hands of it and disappeared from this site.
