  1. 1. Neighbor's triangle shaped roof that is aimed towards your home or apartment at the same LEVEL. For example, if the neighbor's roof is equivalent to your unit at say 4th storey, if one stands inside your home and at the parallel, can see the pointed roof; then this is sha qi. 2. Another most common is the "porcupine" spikes of neighboring stacks that slices towards your stack: from the same block or neighboring block.
  2. 1. If you are applying the eight house concept: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach Don't waste your time and money buying useless amulets. 2. The sensible approachis to find other ways to maximize youroverall Feng Shui luck:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks Sunardy W. wrote: Hi, I was born in 1979. An earth sheep and gua no 3. After read the feng shui book, I found out that my bathroom position in my bedroom is in the wrong sector which is in SW (southwest of the house and the room. According to the feng shui reading, this position is not supposed built for bathroom, kitchen, and storeroom if the sheep person is living in the room or house. I am seeking for a solution to fix this problem. Is it possible just to place an amulet or something to tackle this issue. Thank you.
  3. Floridian is a freehold development with a total of 336 units. It is expected to be completed in 2013. The development consists mainly of 7 cluster blocks of "earth" shaped blocks (rectangularish and flat roofs. When completed the development belongs to Period 8: 2004 to 2023 Flying Star Period. The best stacks are: The Verandah stacks #16 to #21 where majority of the facing direction is SW1. The Downtown block with stacks 02 03 06 07 also face SW1. While 01 04 05 08 are NE 1 facing directions. Hideaway block also have stacks facing NE1 in particular: 24 27. These flats should benefit from water star #08 at the frontage with the mountain star #08 at the back of each of the flats. Poorer Flying Star luck:- However: Stacks 13 15 (The Club) and 09 12 (The Keys) are facing S1. It is a waste as both water wealth and mountain star #8's are located at the back of the apartment. Other Facilities: Clubhouse,25m Lap, Cascading, Children's pool, Jogging track, Alfresco dinning facilities, Spa beds & seats, Jet massages, Outdoor hot tubs, Pavilions, Poolside bar, Recreational Pools, Downtown 25m Lap
  4. Frankly, I really don't quite get your question. But if a toilet is directly above a bedroom; then best to locate where is the sewerage pipe (and it's ancillary pipes). The best one can do is not to sleep directly below this piping (usually covered by a gypsum board. And also avoid sleeping next to the piping or if it is running below the bed; bed it. Otherwise, there is no miracle cure: i.e. either it is there or it is not there: On or off. (full stop). Anonymous wrote: Dear Master One of the bedroom is located below first level, and there is a small toilet room located in the corner, just before heading to downstairs. How to block the bad Qi that comes from the toilet room, so whoever sleep in the bedroom downstairs will not suffer from inauspicious position. appreciate your help
  5. 1. In my opinion, it is best not to place it "behind" the glass. So far, I have yet come across such a placement - if ever. If it is placed, it should always be placed on the outside. 2. If the premises is behind a glass; and may be affected by a sha qi or poison arrow; the concept: If it cannot be seen - it no longer becomes a threat applies. (This is a better solution). Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, Its believe is a powerful fengshui antidote and should not be put inside the house or office. However since the shop doors and windows all are made from glasses window and we do not want it to be noticeable from the neighbors. Would it be alright to place Pa Kua inside the shop and facing to main street. ? Appreciate your adv
  6. 1. All ofus must be practical and realistic. 2. Often, we have seengeomancers who"preach and walk away.. later". 3. For example, it is so easy to comment on something and then we are dumped with the "shit". All geomancers must understand that they are just there for a few minutes to not more than 2 hours - giving advice. 4. But, the "users" or the people affected by the geomancers have to"live withthe advice". Thus, unrealistic advice includes: "Yourmaster toilet is very inauspicious!" You musttotally not use it at all (for the rest of your life ifyou still stay in this home). 5. Drawing a parallel to the combination of applying Flying Star with Gua numbers. So far, no one has or can perfectly match or harmonise the two together. As they are NOT meant to be harmonised together. 6. But rather; better professional geomancers use another "TOOL" Ba zi Feng Shui or use Ba zi in-conjunction with say Flying Star Feng Shui. 7. Thus, since long ago; one may hear things like: try to harmonise the bedroom based on a person (or even a child's) ba zi: common is the use of colours. 8. Flying star numbers are always flying around - is another consideration. Carolyn G. wrote: Dear Master Lee My son belong to gua #7 and I'm very concerned as his bedroom is Mt. #7, water #3. According to some geomancer, it can bring very bad misfortune as the same ming gua can reinforce bad effect of mountain #7. I have another son born 1986 his ming gua supposed to be #2 but again some fengshui master claim is #5. He sleeps in a mt. #5 water #1. Would very much appreciate your advice.
  7. 1. This picture (see attachment) shows a relatively young tree with it's tree trunk slicing towards the ground floor unit living room. 2. In the future, when the tree trunk reaches the 2nd and even the 3rd storey; it will pose a threat to these units in the near future.
  8. 1. Please note that it is best to use the new name once it has been chosen or selected. 2. For example, if a person is known as : Richard Lim; but this person had changed his Chinese name to Lim Ah Kow. And if he still uses Richard Lim; comes to nought. Thus, if everyone still calls this person Richard... might as well forget about changing the name. 3. Usually, especially in Singapore; those who are serious would go to the a lawyer (attorney) for a deed poll to change the name.
  9. When we stand inside the home looking directly out of it; it is best not to see a lamp post or tree trunk "slicing" towards our home.
  10. Generally any commercial non Feng Shui conCAVE mirror may be used if one cannot find those "Feng Shui" type of conCAVE mirror(s). Any mirror so long as it curves inwards is acceptable especially if the mirror is greater than 2 inches or more.
  11. 1. There are lots of varieties of bamboo plants. 2. Overall, bamboo plants are very hardy and easy to grow. And often they multiply very fast. Bamboo plants grow in a cluster and does not have a single tree trunk. In no time, it will grow side-by-side with many shoots. 3. The disadvantage about growing bamboo plants is that it needs proper maintenance. And if we just simply cut it close to the surface; it can be a breeding point of mosquitoes. And in addtion, when it becomes too dense, could also be a heaven for snakes.
  12. 1. Yes, I strongly agree that it is purely scare tactics. The red flag as you had mentioned is :- "Not sure if the lady is trying to scare me into buying her products, as I was told to spend thousands of dollars on fengshui items after that." 2. Based on the info you had provided; there is sufficent wood; more than fire element. And in the thousands of Ba Zi that I had looked thru all these while; there are many who have more zeros to their elements not withstanding just only "Metal". 3. In my opinion, you have met a con artist.
  13. 1. For sole proprietorship:- The two steps that I had mentioned. While type of business is "Nice-to-have" sometimes; it is not possible to have all three. Thus priority is to make sure that the earlier two steps had been taken care off. 2. For Private Limited and especially larger Ltd companies:- Particularly Ltd companies are not tied to a single person or entity. Thus it would be best or closer to "must have" to harmonize the business logo to the type of business. 3. However, I personally feel that even within Ltd companies: there are such a wide range of logo shapes and colours. Take for example the Banking sector:- 3.1 Just take a sample of just their company colours alone not withstanding the different shapes and designs of their logos:- Citi Bank = Blue and some Red Coutts = Silver DBS bank = Red Hong Leong Finance = Red and Gold HSBC = Black with Red May Bank = Yellow OCBC Bank = Red Stan Chart =Blue and Green The Royal Bank of Scotland RBS = Navy Blue POSBank = Blue and Yellow (subsidiary of DBS Bank - totally different colour from DBS which is Red) United Overseas Bank (UOB)= Red logo with blue wordings 3.2 In theory, Banking & Finance is associated with the Metal element (white, gold, silver colours) and circle shape. Based on the five elements concept; generally Metal (White, gold or silver) goes well with water element (Blue, black or grey). 3.3 Fire element (Red) can be used to melt metal but usually used sparingly e.g. Citi bank's blue with a little of red. Here, many banks widely use or some even simply have one main colour: Red. 3.4 Technically water should not be combined with water element. Some banks utilise the combinations well, while others are at odds with the colours. While yellow (earth) is often not best used as it can inflame or cause too much "Metal" (if we look at it from having too much metal - stress)
  14. 1. Your birthdate 14 Jan 1955, 7am; should be based on Lunar Calendar whichputs you as belonging to the Year 1954 and NOT 1955. 1.1 You can also see that under this link: http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/ayear/a30-50.htm 1954 = 3. Overall, the actual Gua number should be 8 GEN / KEN which is the same trigram symbol. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master , Hi I am jon, trying to check the "Gua" number as to find out the sleep direction and working direction . however I am a bit confuse from what I read the book (author by Lilian Too), the calculation of Gua number is to add 5 to the last digit number. example; 1955 = 5+5 = 10 = 1+0 = 1 , 1 + 5 = 6 and sengchi direction for this is West. When I try to generate "Free Fengshui Tools" it came out different Gua number. I was wondering which one is correct. The Birth Date I want to analyze is "14 Jan 1955, 7am" The Gua Number from Free PFS-POD, Personal Ba Zi & Feng Shui Element Report Generated wizard is "8" (Earth) And for the same Birth Date The Gua Number from "Free Gua (Kua) Number Report" is "5" Appreciate your adv.
  15. 1. SouthBank is a Period 8 small development. It consists of two blocks. 2. This is one of the oldest areas in Singapore. In the past, if the Kallang Gas works was around, it would have been just a short distance to the south of this gas works. And it is close to one of the veins of the two rivers bringing terrible sludge and smell close-by. 3. Generally, it has good shapes and forms as the entire plot is rectangularish. 4. The developer has cleverly, tried to placed the swimming pools closer to the busy Crawford Street flanked by the start of the North Bridge Road. The clever arrangement of the larger block, helps to buffer noise for the entire block. But at the expense of it's Feng Shui. 5. Oneblock sits/facingNW/SE - whichoverall does not have as goodFeng Shui as the other blockthat sits SW facing NE. The better stacks are 07 to 11 (NE 2 facing) and 06 and 12 (SW 2 facing).
  16. 1. The SpringBloom condo was built under Period 7. It consists of three well spaced blocks: Jade, Pearl and Ruby. 2. This development has a diverse range of stacks that face: cardinal points: North, NE, SW, SE and NW. Many who apply the Eight House have tried to buy an apartment in this development that fits or suits their East or West Group. 3. Many years back, when I went to see the show-room of this development by MCL Land; the thing that still dwell in my mind was that I was abit taken back by the "entrance". This is the only condo I know that has an entrance over a large canal. Just imagine an european fort. Which needs to draw down its bridge. 4. It is popular as it is near to the Serangoon MRT station.Tenure of land is leasehold: 99 years. 5. Another plus point is that all three blocks are oriented towards the pure or true cardinal points of 0/360 degrees and 180 degrees. As such, none of the stacks would be affected by being neither here nor there i.e. "emptiness line" where in some developments: an apartment is exactly between e.g. NE1 / NE2 etc..
  17. 1. Step 1: Find out what is your Personal Element:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 2. Step 2: Use this link to find out the colour associations and even the preferred shape for a company logo. Since this is a sole proprietorship; it is simple to find out your best colours and shapes to use for a company logo:- http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm For example: if earth element supports your Personal Element, then colour associated with earth is yellow and a logo could include a squarish or rectangular shape. If metal element is suited to your Personal Element; then you may consider a logo that is circular in design and colours like gold, silver or other metallic colours and white are preferred. All these elements may be combined if they so happen to suit you.
  18. This conCAVE mirror was placed outside a "missing" corner of a home..
  19. This is an "excellent" video; reminding all of us to drive safely at all times! Nowadays; many of us are either distracted by handphone calls and sms text messages... I believe; all these can wait.. WARNING!: THIS IS A VERY SAD VIDEO:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyWAwUDA4rw
  20. 1. Although all the table tops comes from the "earth" itself; colours does play a significant part in identifying which of the five elements the table-top materials (and colours) are made-off. 2. Distinct colours like:- Green = wood element Red = fire element Violet (purple) = fire element Water = blue or black 3. Some other colours are harder to differentiate. Some colours show up differently under lighting; lightining tones : cool day light; warm lights. 4. Colours especially brown or brownish (wood element)is often associated with tones of yellow or cream colour (earth element). There is really no right or wrong answers, here. 5. Some of the brownish with creamy colours have also specks of shiny gold colour. So this material may even be considered as belonging to wood-earth-metal element. 6. Metal (Gold) colour is often also closely related to yellowish and reddish yellowish colour. 7. What we can learn from these is that often like careers; a material can belong to several elements. For example; even in a career; the industry can be water (Telecommunications) and one is working in Sales and Marketing (fire element) in that industry.
  21. 1. The Eight House or East / West Group is based on the premise of either spending time at a sector and/or also nice-to face a good direction. (Full Stop). 2. One should not drag this concept into other situations as what you are trying to "drag it down to". 3. Thus activating say a SW sector has no association with the above. 4. Anyway, what you are trying to apply is "static" Feng Shui that does not take into account time dimensions. 5. A far more professional approach is to apply time dimension in Feng Shui. 5.1 For example;to draw up a Flying Star chart and in-particular; try to disarm #3. And if possible activate Mountain Star #8 and Water Star #8. 5.2 #3 refers to Romance/Education and other human relationship issues. While especially mountain star #8 involves networking and relatiionship luck. And water star #8 is associated with general luck and overall wealth luck.
  22. I like to mention that what I had commented is akin to looking at "external surface" much like looking and examining a person for any external "injuries" if any. It does not mean that as long as the external skin looks or can be corrected; the internal is 100 fine or OK? For humans, there are such things as internal injuries or even bleeding... even if the surface area looks clean and OK. Cavet Emptor! Let the buyer, beware!
  23. 1. As mentioned in my last example; vertical overlapping wooden strips that overlap each other on each side can allow air movement. Thus it could also be a full wooden planks or a half-height wall with wooden fencing on top of the other half to allow air movement. 2. Please note that my ealier advise is purely on the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 3. Your questions like main door etc.. colours etc... should be based more on the Compass School of Feng Shui. 4. If you are doing own business; make sure that not only what I had mentioned being explored : Shapes and Forms but also the Compass School Feng Shui be looked into. As it helps to understand how suitable the home is to the breadwinner and any other wealth leaks e.g. based on Flying Star Feng Shui. 5. If you are a salaried worker; then even if Para 4 is not as good; it is less of a "burden" compared to being an owner of a business. As often such homes may handicap a business person - who all the time needs proper "support" from their earth luck - and cannot afford seasonal luck from a home.
  24. This house is at a T-Junction. Please see marking in RED "A". Instead of using concrete high walls that do not let in air; high walls can also use inter-laced wood e.g. wooden planks usually chengnai wood over lapping each other but yet allow breeze or wind to flow in and out of the home.
  25. Further to what I had mentioned; there are some other "cosmetic" issues for Home marking in purple B:- 1. The two openings looks like two ancestral tablets. 2. Ideally it is best not to have spikes or spear-heads on top of a gate.
