  2. Some of these homes are frozen in the era of the 1940s, 1950s to 1960s...
  3. Views from Block 194 Rivervale
  4. Uniquely in land scarce Singapore, landed premises are for child cares or child development Centres.. While homes are up their in HDB blocks... Location: Rivervale, Sengkang, Singapore Credit: Streetdirectory.com
  5. OMG ?! What's this? A new transformer machine?
  6. Make a Guess... Oouch!! Erh.. you mean recycled broken glass? And yes! It’s free...
  7. Sometime around 1976, the government standardised the numbering of homes. Around the British times, a ground floor unit for eg. Is numbered say No. 20. A unit above this is numbered 20A, the 3rd storey is numbered 20B. But the folly of this is if it is a high rise exceeding 20Z, what happens? Before 1976 (thereabouts): a flat address could be Block B, unit 508. But after 1976 onwards this flat is known as Blk B, #06-08. The government added an additional storey: the ground floor unit or for HDB flats with a void deck is added to the count. This is why 508 changed: where the 5 = 06 and 08 remains as the stack number. Photos of homes numbered under the colonial days. These homes are at Katong, Chapel Road.
  8. i know. my sis and brother in law recommended you. they have been very happy in their home all these years
  9. Passed by today.. slowly Blk 122 HDB Geylang East Ave 1 south facing units are slowly being blocked.. Much like The Bayshore vs Costa Del Sol
  10. The Clementi Canopy Please note that Choice 1 to 3 is not shown. Maybe closer to a year later when my client had already for certain purchased their unit. Shown is the 4th choice. As client was advice to buy this as a "Last Resort". This is because the stove is close to the centrepoint of the unit
  11. It has since been five years ago that I had visited the showroom to view the flats above Punggol waterpoint. Looks like it is close to completion.
  12. Red arrows = "Million dollar view" (for now or ever - if no further development at the forest .. reserve)
  13. Marine Parade cluster : Telok Kurau Junction with Marine Parade Road Old walk-up flats near to the entrance to St Patrick's Road.
  14. 1st neon yellow electric kick scooter that I had ever seen. Usually they are ebony or jet-black (noir). And this one seems to be made from carbon-fibre.
  15. Walkway trellises are also potential poison arrows if they are also aimed towards a unit's opening such as the balcony doors or windows.
  16. Eastvale @ Pasir Ris and Sha Qi or poison arrows Pyramid shaped roof if aimed directly towards a unit's balcony or windows is a poison arrow.
  17. This is excellent information and your analysis is consistent with my experience.
  18. Artra at 10 Alexandra View is a 400 unit mixed development. Although it is touted as just a few metres away from Redhill MRT, the bane is perhaps the noise from the daily screeching of braking MRT trains. Note: attached map = source: one map.sg
