  1. Forest Woods Residences Condo by CDL At first glance, the site plan resembles a small grand piano, with a section (marked in red) taken up by a sub-station. The development is located at the main intersection of Paya Lebar Road and Upper Serangoon Road, with a smaller estate road, Lorong Lew Lian, nearby. Interestingly, "Lew Lian" sounds similar to "durian." It’s a smart move by the architect to place the blocks and stacks deeper within the site, helping residents avoid traffic and road noise from both major roads. Vehicle entrance and exit are via Lorong Lew Lian. When the development reaches its T.O.P., it would be a nice gesture for CDL to present each unit with a crate of durians, just as some developers in the past have gifted a bottle of red wine as a token of good luck. The name Forest Woods Residences suggests there will be plenty of trees throughout the estate. With or without Feng Shui considerations, this project is likely to be fully booked, especially since it’s just a five-minute walk from the MRT station.
  2. While the method described above is one way to take Flying Star compass readings, it is recommended to use the following approach instead: 1. Please refer to the attachment. 2. In the previous method, readings were taken along the red markings from A to B, which run parallel to the side wall of the unit. 3. However, it is preferable to take the reading along the blue line. For example, stand inside the living room facing the balcony, and take the reading from the blue markings C to D. 4. Please note that assessing each individual stack or unit facing is very time-consuming. Therefore, I handle these requests on a case-by-case basis for my clients. 5. Based on this, it may be necessary to fine-tune the Flying Star analysis for blocks 110 and 111 to reassess their directions using the recommended method.

  4. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and Block 111 with stacks 01, 02, 03 & 04 In Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, stacks #03 and #04 are less ideal. These stacks are close to the main entry and exit ramp for the entire development, and are also near or partially facing the bin centre. For stacks #02 and #03, which are N2 facing, the double auspicious #8 stars are at the back of the unit. This is less favourable compared to stacks #01 and #02, which are S2 facing. Stacks #01 and #02 are the best options for East group individuals. The frontage of these units benefits from the double auspicious #8 wealth stars, and their orientation faces water, which is considered very lucky and brings great wealth. 1. You may refer to the sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart for more details. 2. In the attachment, you’ll see that having double [8]s at the front of the home brings prosperity and good wealth, compared to N2 facing units where these auspicious stars are wasted at the rear, often in the kitchen or yard area. 3. One concern with S2 facing units is that the kitchen may be located in the northwest sector, known in Feng Shui as “Fire at Heaven’s Gate.” This can negatively impact the male breadwinner’s career luck. 4. For a south-facing (S2) unit, it’s best to choose a home where the kitchen is in the north or northeast sector. P.S. As readings are taken for the whole block, some geomancers may assess from the centre-most bedrooms facing outward toward the balcony.
  5. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View It’s important to consider whether your potential new home receives afternoon sun, whether direct or indirect, and which parts of the home might be affected. I once spoke with an overseas client who experiences all four seasons and mentioned that she doesn’t mind having afternoon sun in her home, as it can be very cold during the winter where she lives.
  6. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View – Flying Star Feng Shui Analysis of Block 111 Block 111 is made up of four stacks. Stacks #21 and #22 face the Flying Stars P8 SE3 direction. Stacks #23 and #24 face the opposite direction, NW3. NW3, where stacks #23 and #24 are located, has the auspicious water wealth star #8 at the front. However, it’s best to avoid the lower units, as they face the main entrance and security guard area. The bin centre is located at the far right of stack #24. Aside from this, the other sectors in these homes may have imbalances. If the master bedroom or another bedroom is in the west sector of the home, be careful as this may lead to frequent sickness. Stacks #21 and #22 with a SE3 facing also have the water wealth star at the front, which is good, especially as these units face a pool of water. The other stars in different sectors are inauspicious and may need to be resolved. It is beneficial if the back of the unit has some form of “mountain” support. Note: As the readings cover the entire block, some geomancers may take additional readings, for example, from the most central bedrooms facing outward towards the balcony. In such cases, the unit, especially in stack #21, may be considered as having an S1 facing.
  7. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and Christian type of "fish shaped" layout with one side having two blocks and the other four blocks will inevitable cause poison arrows from the side with two blocks... Sha Qi or poison arrows aimed towards stacks #17 and #20
  8. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and 4 Bedroom Type D1 Here, it is not ideal to place a bed-head sharing the same wall as the WC. In addition, in this E1 layout; it is less than ideal for a stove to share the same wall as a WC:-
  9. Brand 1: Auto-Seal External door GAP seal In my opinion, this is a pretty good "mechanical" door seal. What happens is that each time the main door is at the close position; there is a mechanical seal that drops down to the floor: so that there is no longer a GAP to allow for brochures or even liquid to spill into the unit. Look down on the floor. There is an aluminium strip at the bottom of this condo unit floor. The product name is called "auto seal"
  10. Avoid purchasing a water feature similar to this one. As it looks ambiguous. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; to some; it may look like "monsters" or some ugly thing.... etc..
  11. Water features are a dim a dozen... Highly commercialised

  16. Woodlands Spectrum I & II two-way vehicle ramp as seen from Woodlands Industrial Xchange
  17. The NW side of Woodlands Industrial Xchange building (especially high floors) eg. 8 storey has a commanding view of Malaysia: specifically Johor Bahru coast-line.. A million door factory cum office view...
  18. Many of these oval stainless steel seats were removed beside the water feature due to safety reasons. This was because the sun rays would heat up these balls. And if one accidentally places a hand or that of a child may get "burnt" This is why equally not good to have stainless steel railings at this Swimming pool. Just imagine on a hot sunny day; a child holds on too Long at the vertical stainless steel poles... As shown by the yellow arrows.
  19. For some; this happens only once on their lives. For others, they have no opportunity to buy a new home or rather buy a re-sale home... For whatever reasons; for most; this is indeed a joyous occasion ...
  20. Very common to see them on the wall panels and ceiling of new lifts that are protected by temporary plywood sheets... At Skyline I @ Bukit Batok; they even paste these adverts onto the protective floor panels
  21. Not sure why? All the self-storage facilities in Singapore are always so colourful. Hmm...Most likely, perhaps.. Make them easy to find....
