If we are talking about painting a home. Do not forget that large areas where colours are used may include: 1. Curtains or blinds(living & all rooms that have a window). 2. Bed-sheets (bedrooms). The above are possibilities. As it is much easier to change the bed-sheets and even curtains vs painting the walls.

If everyone has to paint their homes, yearly... there will be great prospects for painters! Like a Minister recently said: become a crane operator. Another, a hawker. Instead, let's all become painters! Should make more money!

These are some considerations: 1. Like one Singapore minister said previously: " Looking at his CPF statement makes him very (rich) happy." 2. Thus, if everyone or nearly everyone repaint their walls yearly; this will equally make the paint manufacture and the paint shop = very rich and happy. 3. Common sense says that "No body has the time, the energy to move and cover all their belongings, yearly" 4. And the answer to your question is a NO.

Again, ideally, the washing machine should not be next to either the fridge and/or the stove. This is pure common sense: 1. Often, if one is not careful, washing machine soap powder may be accidentally spilled or via windy conditions spread towards the fridge and the stove (if it is also close-by). 2. In addition, many washing machines uses hot water and when the washing machine wash detergent evaporates; it leaves a residue at it's surroundings and surface areas. 3. Practically all the two bedroom units at Ripple Bay condo has the washing machine so close to the eating / food preparation area.

Previously, she has problems having children. After Feng Shui consulation, she had two lovely twins: a boy and a girl. Feng Shui cannot guarantee success. But, can help to further improve chances especially if there are any imbalances in one's home. Had another case, a client who stayed in Rosewood condo. (She happens to work for a company that uses my Feng Shui service). And after the consultation, managed to have a baby boy.

Designs of false ceilings in the living room
Cecil Lee posted a topic in Feng Shui Tips & Guidelines
The shaded area in YELLOW in one of the photos is not considered a "load bearing" beam that does not cause a problem even if one stands or sleep below it. As the load is distributed along the side wall area. This type of layout only occurs with apartments with a bay window or bay area. -

These are some considerations: 1. In general, kitchen is located at NW = "Fire at Heaven's gate". One way to reduce the incidence is to introduce "earth and water" in the kitchen. 1.1. Try to check where is the true cardinal point of NW. And closest to this area, can introduce : pottery / glass-ware or any thing that is made from earth e.g. mugs in cabinets, near to this area. And another method is to introduce e.g. 2 x 1.5 clear water containers e.g. on the table top especially if the stove is at NW.
