  1. I am ashamed to name this condominium.... The condominium recently TOP this year.... Is there an obsession in drying clothes at the balcony area?
  2. Frankly, in my opinion; 1. Some of us like you had never knew of Feng Shui before. And, realistically, and touch-wood; if everything seems fine; one may even totally forget that Feng Shui existed and lead a wholesome life. 2. This is because if one wants to apply Feng Shui; there are many things to look out for:- 2.1 Feng Shui Triage 2.2 Fix-the-Leak, First! 2.3 The Concept of Maximizing Marks 3. To apply Feng Shui in the optimum manner; there are no short cuts...
  3. You wrote: 2. Can I use bunk beds? I read that it's not a good ideea. He should be above his one year old brother. 1. This link provides some commonsense idea with regards to the concern of the bunk beds:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commonsense_Approach#Can_I_install_a_bunk_bed_for_my_children.27s_bedroom.3F 2. Usually, it is best not to let the "legs" face the bedroom door as to the Chinese; this is known as the "coffin position". But, other safety aside; some place a "screen" or organizer pouch at the baby-bed panel; thus acting like a screen between the child's legs and the bedrooom door.
  4. In my opinion, it depend: 1. This includes taking a real look of the entire area; how wide is the corridor area; the depth of the recess area. 2. Must "yang Qi" as the frontage 3. the ultra conservatives always say it is the actual maindoor.
  5. This year's Chinese 7th month starts on 31 Jul 2011 (Sun) = 2011, 7th month, 1 day to 28 Aug 2011 (Sun) = 2011, 7th month, 29 day
  6. 1. Further to what I had mentioned:- 2. In fact, although some things are 'strictly' Feng Shui issues e.g. the 2 hourly Chinese calendar timing:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29772&new= 3. I can easily explain it from a Commonsense approach. (See above link). Thus even if one is a non-expert in geomancy; it does not matter. 4. What is sad is that even during my course of work; I have encountered as many as 50 percent of some geomancers that get this commonsense issue wrong! And these geomancers advised their clients with the wrong day of birth! 5. Typically, as I always belief: even if 10 Geomancers tell a story of sorts; it does not necessarily mean that the story is correct! The morale of the story:"10 wrongs does not make ONE right!". The truth (commonsense) always prevail. You don't need to ask a COW SENSE geomancer to answer such questions!
  7. As mentioned previously; even if one needs to plot a 9-grid system; usually, it should follow the cardinal points of the compass. This resource was posted to this forum many years back by a user..... It shows that even in a 9-grid system on a perfectly rectangular or squarish home; it may have to be tilted correctly to the proper compass orientation. Thus, as mentioned, many geomancers; inclusive of myself prefer the pie chart method to this 9-grid system...
  8. Please note that of course the current staircase is not the "best" location. But this illustration shows that we cannot just look blindly at the staircase; but also; all the indentations on the left side (when standing at the door looking inwards). Since the main door is like the mouth of the house; an important area where qi, bright hall etc... this sample illustration shows a better way of handling the "interior". The earlier interior is like the internal of the mouth having lots of ulcers or "porcupines" or spikes...
  9. These are some considerations: 1. Clue: it is based on specific priorities and other factors. 2. In my opinon, some Feng Shui books are frankly... either ignorant or too general. Or some even don't get things right. Have even encountered: many blindly following each other. 3. We don't intend to highlight many of the key factors. If so, from past experience many others would try to emulate and copy our logic and methods. In fact, there were lots of instances where, some users report to us that our results differ from some sites; and later they return to that site to discover that these sites utimately changed their results to match us. For example, after we published this resource:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= Many of our users feedback that suddenly many other sites had changed their program to try to emulate Geomancy.net reports. 4. We at Geomancy.net do very high level analysis and very exacting research before we put up our materials and resources. And many of our resources always stood the test of time. 5. We are not followers of others. So what if 10 books say the same thing but it does not follow that 10 does not equate that it is right. And we have our own rationale and metholodgyand reason why we do things.
  10. 1. In my opinion, if this is truly the main entrance area; everything seems out-of-place. 2. The staircase is a contributing factor. 3. But the store or cabinet circled in RED is a total eye-sore! See attachment. 4. In addition again, there ia another eye-sore circled in PURPLE. Yeap, see attachment. 5. In my opinion; I thought I have seen everything... but frankly, this main entrance "AREA" is (no-offense) truly one of the "YUCKS!" I have ever seen! TRULY, no joke!
  11. It is best to call me @97853171 or email privately to support@geomancy.net as I need a few more info e.g. What industry is your company in; in-addition to some other relevant questions. Thanks! On 7/23/2011 12:55:52 AM, Alvyn Ng wrote:
  12. An extract from this thread:- " 4. Thus, if you can or may do all the things; but also sleep one night (or place a set of both partner's night clothing on each side of the bed) and also try to cook (and if can bathe, sleep and cook) would be an added bonus before the 7th month." P.S. Chinese 7th Month (Hungry Ghost Period):-===================================== 31 Jul 2011 (Sun) = 2011, 7th month, 1 day to 28 Aug 2011 (Sun) = 2011, 7th month, 29 day
  13. Your question is similar to another question. And here goes:- Based on the Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: 1. Heaven (Born with) 2. Earth (Feng Shui) 3. Man or Human Luck (feel good) So long as it makes you feel good or comfortable with it, why not? Since feeling good contributes to "improving one's luck". Particularly = Man or Human Luck factor.

  15. Your questions are too general. For some of the questions .............................................................. "It depends!".
  16. "You are the one that posted the question on: Walk-in-closet". I can assure you that AGAIN, this question has very much to do with commonsense. Thus, as mentioned under your previous thread "Walk-in-closet"; One should put on their thinking CAP and try to find out the answer, on your own. You don't need a Cowsense Geomancer to do it for you, rite? Off-track: In the past, in the 1980's IBM marketing personel would give away... pads with a bold BLUE word "THINK" on the lined pad. I believe, that was how; later, IBM chose to name their PC = THINKPAD! I strongly encourage you to put on your THINKING CAP... Got it? GET it?
  17. In this attachment, the toilet has tiny or small ventilation area to the outside. And if the toilet is always wet; then moisture or humidity would flow into the confined space of the walk-in-wardrope since; especially if the toilet door is not air-tight and/or it is often opened most of the time.
  18. These are further considerations: 1. One fine day, I would try to add as much to this wiki-link:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commonsense_Approach 2. For example, take the case of this question. 3. Even as a geomancer; when I try my best to anwer such questions; 4. Do you know that often, in the past and even now; I would always "put on the thinking cap" and ask myself this question: Is it possible to relate it to COMMONSENSE? 5. For example. from my last reply; one need not be a "Fung Sway" expert nor the subject be purely "arrowed" towards Fung Sway. 6. In fact, there are lots of things associated with commonsense just that many of us don't do the above exercise under para 4. 7. Recently, I posted the photo of a fish tank with a net covering it. 8. In fact, I wanted to show that it is also commonsense. 9. For example, any fish lover would try to "protect" their fishes in two ways:- 9.1. The net makes sure that some of the fishes don't "jump ship" or jump into the drain or thru fish stupidity, jump out into the ground and die of "thirst" 9.2. The net is also to prevent cats from getting to the fishes. 10. Thus, for those who rear or want to rear fish; have to consider the above; and not just think that they will have a lovely view of the fish... in fact, like the photo; what's the point of rearing fish... if one cannot fully enjoy them! 11. The morale of the question is: "Most of the time; much can be explained via commonsense. No need a cowsense geomancer to explain it for you. RIGHT?
  19. If one has the time; go thru para 7.... of the link, below:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=30113&new=
  20. These are some considerations: 1. In my opinion, it has more to do with Commonsense or cow-sense. Why? 2. Usually or often, how many close the attached bathroom door. 3. Often a bathroom has limited ventilation points or windows. Often, either the window(s) are closed or slightly left open. As many feel that opening too wide or dare not fully open the louvres (if any). 4. If the toilet is widely used by many family members: husband and wife; for young children.. and often if the toilet is WET most of the time.. JUST imagine commonsense says that quite alot of moisture or humidity could enter into the walk-in-wardrope or you call it closet (whatever). 5. Please ponder over Para 4. Doesn't this relate more to commonsense? 6. Thus, if one keeps lots of expensive bags e.g. L. Vutton or designer bags in the walk-in-closet; say Siaonara or Good Bye to them! 7. Sometimes even clothings or linen could turn mouldy... again due to high humidity as moisture for the wet toilet is evident. 8. Of course, for some; they keep their toilet dry and/or install a ventilation fan; this may or might help. 9. In addition, if one always closes the toilet bowl and the toilet bowl faces the toilet door; and if the toilet door is often kept open; whenever someone flushes the toilet "micro-droplet" of germs may just fly fast and furious and deposit on to clothings or materials in the walk-in-closet (wardrope - whatever). 10. Therefore, with a little imagination; frankly such things don't need to be pinned onto Feng Shui. 11. In my opinion; usually 50 percent or more of the time; such things can be explained using commonsense = cowsense. And perhaps; some naive people simply place the blame on Fung Sway.
  21. Part I: Take a look at these photos. Can you guess what has commonsense other than some say that it is good to have a water position at a good spot or location?
  22. Location: Katong / Ceylon Road-Marshall Road area 1. Typically, many Chinese hang a pair of lanterns outside their home. 2. In one of the photos; this home hangs a row of FIVE(5) lanterns! This certainly not the norm. The lanterns looks family. Seems like they were made in Shanghai; by the Shanghai Lantern company. Can you also see a CONCAVE mirror at this same home?
  23. 1. This is a typical interior layout of similar flats as those shown in the earlier photos. 2. The earlier phaseat Belimbing Avenue in the same estate 3. From the interior layout plans; there are no clues to the curved or semi-arch roof of typical terrace homes located at Oasis@Mulberry. 4. Most of the private apartments / condos use only a 1/4 semi-circular design. Not a 1/2 circle design as shown, here.
  24. The conservative view is always a roof that looks like an auspicious "UP" arrow sign.. like the attachment
  25. Location: Oasis @ Mulberry This type of semi-circular roof design is both highly uncommon in Singapore as well as very unpopular. With such terrace homes costing millions each; many developers + architect won't want to risk sales or lower the value of such properties with similar type of roof profile!
