Dear Anon, Based on symbolism in Feng Shui, in my opinion, boxed beds are not considered `inauspicious': 1. It is still considered a `whole' bed i.e. it is not spilt up ned together (two single bed). Not "split up" even if it has two layers. 2. There should not be an issue on whether the bed should have a gap below it. This is because in many countires e.g. Japan, usually sleep even on tatami mats on the floor. 3. It is good to have paqua flooring or "wooden" flooring. This is because ceramic tiles or marble etc.. is `cold' to the feet. 4. Some worry that because of springs in the box beds, this is considered inauspicious. But, I personally believe that there should not b…

Dear Anon, Sector Feng Shui or saying that SW = romance sector for each and very one of us may not be as accurate to activate romance luck. Try instead to apply Flying Star Feng Shui:- Specially for romance luck try activating a sector with water star #4. This then can be equated to you "SW" or so called romance sector. For example: MS#1 WS#4 Base#7 (Period 7) Then, since this sector has a water star #4 = good for romance. In addition, if the home has MS#8 or MS9 then activate with a mountain to improve networking and relationship luck. For example if a sector has: MS#8 WS#1 Base #8 then activate this mountain sector to improve networking and relationship luck!…

Dear Richard, Li Guo De Richard wrote: My eldest brother is geting ROM one month before my chinese wedding. Will my brother ROM clash with my chinese wedding? Generally, ROM already officially recognise the marriage legally. So it is as goodas holding a traditional wedding ceremony for many people. But most still go by the traditional wedding as more important event. However,it is advisable to keep at least 3 months - 6 months apart to ensure that the two couples do not clash each other's good luck. If cannot be avoided, then probably the couples should not attend each other's ROM or Wedding Ceremony to avoid the good luck from being clashed away. Hope that helps. W…

A. Wow, your question is too basic that it is best to use your fingers to find the knowledge:- 1. For example, you can use the top left search field in this forum to search for sepcific terms like:- 1.1.Flying Star Feng Shui 1.2. Mountain Star 1.3. Water Star 1.4. Base Star and/or palace star 1.5. 9 star ki (nine star ki) Other broader terms on the two major schools of Feng Shui:- 1.6. Compass School Feng Shui (which includes Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui) 1.7. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui B. Alternatively, there are lots of books on Flying Star Feng Shui; usually available in bookstores or if you want to have a solid grounding; you might want to consider say, taki…

Dear Anon, 1. Overall, in Feng Shui, it is best that a mirror not be placed on a wall where this could be inauspicious sector as twice the bad luck would bounce back. 2. However, if you feel that it is OK, then you can try to place it above the fireplace. But the mirrow should not be larger than the diameter of the fireplace. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: From the research I have done it seems I may have what is called a 'black stream' flowing under my propery/home. How do i balance this. Frankly, these probably has to do with the way underground water has over your home. Similiar to this link:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm The only true way to not be influenced by it, is frankly to move out to a better location without this issue. Because, if not if you continue to live in such a homes, health will be affected in a matter of time. Any solutions/items if any will only be slowing down the influence, not completely removing the negative influence from such a problem…

1. Yes, what you had mentioned is true! Even today - especially the Chinese are not immune to this! Many share the same fate with regards to filia piety issues! 2. It is a "pity" that I feel that for some of us, if we could reverse the time, may consider having a large family. Here, there is a "higher" probability that one not only "hope" for at least one or some children - to look after us or we could still stay on our own but may not worry as much with day to day finances as there is a higher chance with so many children! 3. In fact, I have seen more cases of daughters providing for or being closer to their parents then sons! As you had mentioned.. most likely cannot…

Dear Ricky, As mentioned in my earlier e-mail, the House Number report is only meant for high rise apartments. In numerology, there are so many varied methods. But what is most important is how often; how many people `recognise' these numbers. Thus, the most common mass superstition are numbers like 13. And for many Chinese number 4, 44 or 444. However, while some people are supersitious about 13, some others are not. This is even the case for 4, 44 or 444. On the gate; there are some people like to symbolically raise the numbers if it is more than 2 or more digits:- 7 8 or 7 7 7 etc... Warmest Regards, Cecil Hi Cecil, Thanks for the quick response. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you please let me know the effect of metal portable building structures used as a temporary office on persons who are already of a strong metal element. Generally, as a Strong Metal person, having anything metal will of course not be favourable to that person. However, in general, most furnitures are generally made of Wood, Metal or Glass (water). Of which Wood furnitures are the most popular. So that would make Strong Wood person will be most at the greatest disadvantage as most furniture is wood element, right? Well, not really. In feng shui, we need to prioritize which is more important and which is least important. So like if you h…

Dear Ang Chye, For married couples, it is not adviseable to us/placee two beds joined together. But for children, there should not be an issue of joining the two beds together to form a bigger bed. The best advise is if one is using two sets of bed is to leave a gap between the two beds. Dear Marti, 1. In my opinion, this is a minor or a non-issue especially for hornet bees. 2. From my own personal experience, when I was young, I can reminicent, staying in a compound especially where the fencing has `plants' with flowers growing on them, I could recall, these hornet bees had something like a yellow ring. 3. And often they would come close to the flowers on the fence. Perhaps, this is where they do polinate the plants. Sometimes, they do buzz close to my ears but I have never seen them `attack' myself or anyone. 4. Frankly, today, sometimes when one fly past my garden, I would simply stand there and listen to them. They have never created any problems. …

Frankly, all the various practitioners/master who use TIME ZONE or LOCATION factors, are modern changes avocated by modern practitioners. There is no such calculation when Ba Zi was invented in China. 2. The only method that is technically correct is to apply the LOCATION factor to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Even this has two issues:- a) Even 0.01 degree off either the latitude and/or longtitude, will make a major change to your ba zi chart. This 0.01 degr…

There is a stagnant corner of my bedroom where I grow orchids by the east window. This corner is also the wealth section of the room. One of the orchids had died and I neglected to get rid of it. During this time, money had become scarce and I found my wallet constantly empty. I threw out the dead plant and placed a small water feature in the corner. Not a day later, my started to pile up. It was a wonderful transition.

Hi Kelvin, Generally, even without looking at feng shui, you can easily tell which area in Singapore are better by looking at where most of the landed properties or high value properties are located. These are often the prime areas in Singapore. Every house or apartment is unique at every location, it isn't right for us to make any form of comments unless a full analysis is done to check on the luck of the house itself. I no matter which location there will be some good and bad units. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Yew-Meng, 1. Further to what I had mentioned earlier, one reader had recently wrote something like this:- " I cannot see the resemblance of roads as equal to water courses ". 2. It is good to bear in mind what the above user had wrote. 3. It is not often or that every other house has large water positions around their homes. And for this reason, and the fact that as the above user had correctly questioned whether can we treat all roads as equvalent to water courses? Like any other Shapes and Form, each home or building has to be looked at individually. And something as `fantastic' as Water Dragon Feng Shui may seem out-of-place if there are really no real water at…

In general, it depends on what type of home one stays in:- 1. landed property Here; if you have a garden, then your landscaping can form a "profile" of the missing corner. And depending on the extend, sometimes even a strategic lamp post can be used as a marker. Thus from a helicopter view, one can see the "missing corner" filled up. 2. Apartments Usually, and depends on the interior of the home, mirror in-side the home (north) sector can help to "extend" the missing corner. Alternatively, depending on circumstances, a concave mirror may be placed outside to "suck" back the missing corner wealth. Some Chinese practitioners ask their clients to place certain objects a…
