Dear Kevin, Kevin Tan wrote: 1.Is all sales-related careers fall under the Fire element? Yes, any job scope that involves selling is considered under Fire element. Remember that there is main job scope and your industry element. For example, you can be involved in sales but if the product or industry you are in more toward Health then it is Wood industry with a Sales job. Just like if you are in the Health industry but your job scope is accounting or finance, then it is Wood industry with Metal job scope. Kevin Tan wrote: 2. Dear Jaymee, Jaymee S wrote: How does one define your gender in ba zi if you have undergone a sex change operation and live completelyas the opposite sex? Frankly, in the past when feng shui was created, there is no such gender change operations. So really, there isn't going to be a confirmed answer to this question. Please read my recent reply on a similiar question asked:- URL: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=21260 Frankly, there is not going to be a prefect answer because:- On one hand, you gender is generic from birth. So your luck is based on when you are born. However, on the other hand, when a person does undergo a sex cha…

Dear David, In Ba Zi, the chief concern is on one's true element and strength. As this is determined from Pillars of Destiny (Ba Zi) in relation to the relationship of all other elements and the season in which you were born. Thus, even if there is zero water element in one's Ba Zi, water does not equate the life `threatening' senario where we must have water to survive. Water is like any other components such as fire. Thus, in a senario where one has zero fire, it does not mean that we need to "go near" fire. Or eat `fiery' food or food considered as Yang or too much fried food stuffs. Esentially, if you are considered as a "weak fire" person, then wood is considered the…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Can a strong water with no fire element in her chart pursue in fire element career? Does working in an advertising firm consider a fire element career? Fire is considered wealth element to a Strong Water person. So yes, a fire element career will good for a Strong Water person. Advertising is considered Water element. So a Strong Water person will not benefit from Advertising as a career. Fire element is more like Marking or Sales. Unless you are doing more of sales related career, then it will be beneficial. Check out our talk notes for more details about the five element and career. URL: http://talk.geomancy.net Hope that helps. Warmes…

Dear Erwin, Frankly, I have no time to really go through the details you provided. However, I can quickly tell you that any chart that has too many clashes/harm tends to denote lots of quarrels or difference between the two person. So the 1st person even though the element is oppositee, can still be resolved by having a binding element to help improve the relationship. However, the 2nd person that has multiple clashes between the chart tends to more likely quarrel between or have major conflicts. Especially if there are major clashes or a total of 4 or more multiple clashes. However, ultimately in any relationship, the human luck factor is also as important. Warmest…

Dear Anon, Please also remember that for any element say Wood, there is a weak or a strong wood, similarly for a Metal there is a weak or strong metal. Certain combinations can be extremely good say if:- The Wood is a Strong wood, then the girlfriend is a Strong Metal or even a weak Metal, as it helps to control the overly strong wood. This does not mean that the guy will be controlled by the girl friend. Also, there are many other factors involved in this type of relationship, the person's characertistics. I mean if a the guy tends to be indecisive etc, while the girl friend is more decisive or more dominant, then it is likely that the girlfriend would be in more control…

Dear I Hui, l hui wrote: According to my Ba Zi, I found out that I have the Flying Horse Star. Unfortunately, it clashes with a bad star that's supposed to bring bad luck (War Star). Is there a way to remedy this? Clashes or harms within your own ba zi chart is not easily corrected. However, it can be minimised by ensuring that you balance up your element. This means that say if you are a weak wood person, then water and wood are what you lack. So if you have more of these areas in your life (ie your house, your colour, your element, your friends etc). The more areas in your life, the better your overall luck. This will in turn reduce any inauspicious aspect from this cl…

Hi Master Lee, Thanks for your reply has been a great help! On this note, I would also like to find out how should I enhance my luck and the balance of my element by means of decorative objects. I've read about using water features, Guan Gong and dragon figurines etc. Is this another school of Feng Shui? Would it begoodif I were toset up Feng Shui for my desk using the Bagua Directionand the elements, Eg Water to the South, Wood to the West, Fire to the North, Metal to the East using ornaments? Since I have too much Fire, would this Fire in the north increase the Fire in me? Thanks once again! Edwin

To all Pillars of Destiny Users, A minor revision was made to the v6.00 reports. The following changes were made:- 1. Fixed some minor bug in which all the 10-year analysis always shows South direction although the element and season were changed. 2. Fixed some typo errors in the Pillars Analysis description. 3. Moved the Ten Deities analysis to the bottom of the report. 4. Improved the analysis of the Ten Deities Wealth Analysis. You should get a better and more accurate reading of your wealth. -------------------------------------------- Yearly Luck Analysis Beta ========================= I would like some feedback from this if you have any, as this module is not yet 1…

From my understanding people can be classiflied as East/West group person. For example I'm a female born in 1973, I belong to the West-group people and the most favourable house for me will be CHIEN which is a WEST house. The favourable LOCATIONS of WEST house are (NE,NW,W,SW) and favourable LOCATIONS of EAST house are (N,S,SE,E) My concern is if I have to stay in a EAST house, do I locate my bedroom in EAST house favourable LOCATIONS(NE,NW,W,SW) or WEST house favourable LOCATIONS(N,S,SE,E)? Hopefully, I get my question right this time.

Dear John, Pian Cai or Unexpected Wealth usually refers to either wealth gained thru promotions and monetary merits gained from work or that there is a greater chance of winnings at the lottery. This is particulary so, if one's specific 10 year Luck Pillars as shown in this example:- http://sg.geomancy.net/consultation/consult-home/leakinexistinghome.htm Has pian cai at the age of 32 to 41 (1989 to 1998). While Pian Yin or Unexpected Funds, usually refers to funds e.g. such as inheritance. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

In my opinion, what you mentioned is very rudimentary. If you have ever seen a full and concised bazi chart,, you will be amazed by the information.

Dear Megan, Anonymous wrote: I am an extremely weak wood person. Thus, wood and water are my favorable elements, and since I have strong metal in my chart, metal is an unfavorable element. I currently work as a police dispatcher. I have read that police work is a metal element career, but would you suggest that as a dispatcher and call-taker for emergency police service, I am in more of a communications field, which is good for those with wood and water as their favorable elements? Thanks in advance for any words of advice you can offer. Generally, police work normally involves law enforcement. Thus, it is more accurate to classify police work as Fire element (Law). More…

As far as our website is concerned, our online calculator had been extensively tested for any calculation errors. Once again, I have checked it manually as the chart is correct according the the Chinese Lunar Calendarcalculation which is what our website based on for all our web tools. We also do not attempt to make any timezone conversion which may alter yourday of birth. This is because such timezone modification are actually not correct way to factor in location. Dear Linda, In the past, when women were renegated to "2nd place" there was no such thing as women = breadwinner. Thus, traditionally, all breadwinners are suppose to be the husband or male breadwinners. Even today, if both husband and wife work and say they share or bring in 50-50 of the income, itis still likely that we consider the male as being the breadwinner. In my opinion, I would say that unless the male (breadwinner) iscompletely a homemaker, and his mate or wife is the sole breadwinner then, weshould definitely consider the wife as the sole breadwinner. Thus, so long as the male is working irreguardless of his pay or bring home pay, we could say that heshoul…
