Dear All, 1. Attached please find another sample of the pie-chart method. 2. Under this example, one can clearly see each sector is `labelled' showing the sector of influence. 3. Overall, I personally prefer to apply the `pie-chart' method over the 9-grid method. 4. For example, one can even prepare a pie-chart frame and print it on a transparency. And this transparency can be placed on-top of say an A4 sized layout plan. - Very effective! Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, An In-depth understanding of the Frontage of a home. Is it always the main door? Who are the Conservatives & the Modernist. What lead to the Conservatives use of the Main Door only? 1. Who are the Conservatives and the Modernists? 2. An in-depth understanding of why the Conservatives has misunderstood the knowledge passed down by the ancients. For High Rise Compass Reading should be taken from the living room looking out of it. For eg. towards the living room windows or its balcony (if applicable) Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee Compass readings differ based on the spot from which they are taken. Compass readings vary by loc…

Further to what I had mentioned, sometimes, "leaks" such as a water position e.g. fountain or fish tank should also be taken into consideration. For example, in general, like the SW2 direction of the main door, if one is staying in a condo, where water is at this area, often, the home may be out of balance. I.e. with #3 and #4 (bad wood) around, water may inadvertently fuel this or aggrevate bad wood - bringing lots of problems. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, Cecil, thanks so much for your prompt response! For clarification, our shingles were replaced without things underneath exposed, so maybe in this instant keeping the period 6 is correct. However, in 2000, we also remodeled kitchen and bathroom quite extensively. Stove were moved to a better Feng Shui location (it was located in the N); a wall was knocked down, water pipes were altered so that we could bring washer and dryer from basement to first floor. Again, my thinking at the time was centering around roof line, if we didn't change roof line, period wouldn't change. But now, I'm not so sure. What do you think? As far as the hill on back. We really do have the faci…

Dear Anon, To be truly honest, pending just a few lines of text (similar to what you had provided) is much like a wild guess. The information provided does not even remotely take into consideration many factors or lots of information are incomplete. Given this, sometimes, simply go with your instincts or bring along family members to view each home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mr.Cecil Thank you very much for your opinion. It helps me bei my decision. I think you are right that the house period 6 is better. Our two children said that this house is like grandparent's house(which was built 1970) and they loved to be there. Our new house built 1991 they have never liked it( Facing E 1).So there we have experiencied a bad luck( health, fiancial problems, accident and etc.) A new house period 8 -we have felt it have not "spirits". Thank you very much again ! warmest regards helen

1. There are an excessive number of texts without any spacing. 2. I will respond solely to the quote provided below. The remaining content, I have decided to forgo reading entirely. 3. If there have been no significant renovations in your condo unit between Period 6, 7, and 8, then it is advisable to create a Period 6 chart first. 4. It is advisable to prepare both a Period 6 and Period 8 chart. 5. Frequently, we utilize these two charts in the following ways: 5.1 When a residence has been occupied for a period, we assess its compatibility with our own lives. A professional Feng Shui consultant can often identify key points. 5.2 Before implem…

1. Frankly it is very easy to come up with creative names and concepts:- 1.1. What is a dwarf ? Imagine lying on a bed. A bed is often from floor level to a few feet up in the air. And a dwarf is often no less higher than a regular bed. 1.2 What is an olympic (or Dimensional)? Imagine the ceiling of any home. It is hope that if one can do a high jump equivalent to the ceiling.. well, there is the Olympic Gold medal for you! 2. How do we go from here? 2.1 Nowadays, many people read too many books on Feng Shui or ill advised by their family, relatives or friends or hear say that it is no good to have a ceiling fan mounted above one's bed! 2.2 Why? 2.3 Hey! Don't ha…

It is interesting that 8 to 10 years ago, whenever someone wants to find out Chinese "mystic" practises, will most of the time search the internet for "astrology" or "Chinese zodiac" signs. It was rare at that time for a search of : Feng Shui or the dialect term of "Fung sway" etc... Nowadays, many can seem to correctly search for "Feng Shui". This is good because: Chinese astrology in my opinion may lead to "auto suggestion" and even "self-fullfilling prophecy!". In the past, I cannot really see the correlation between a geomancer siting on the road side, "dictating" some one else's future. If the geomancer can "predict" someone else future, why can't he predict hi…

1. Frankly, if one simply applies the Eight House (Eight Mansions) or Ba Chai Feng Shui, what you had mentioned is very common occurence. 2. Feng Shui is far more "complex" than this and the external Feng Shui : The environment, the site, the building are equally important in the proper assessment of the home. Thus, what you had mentioned is to general for a genuine assessment purely based on Feng Shui. 3. Numerology or house number will often not affect the Feng Shui. But as you had mentioned, usually may affect the resale value as well as one's personal feelings: if we don't feel good about something then it affects our "Human luck" factor. Here, the holy trinity of …

Hi Cecil, thanks for your reply, NE2 is my livig hall, and you are right SW2 is my kitchen area, actually from the back doorto the main road, there is about 30ft of empty land, i did plant some vege there and it also a area i play with my dogmost the time, butthere also use as my dog daily 'discharge' area. it seem that a bit of dilemma at this moment. the reason behind is my main door is at NE2, if the house facing of SW2 is right, than Water star 8 will be at my NE2 area which is my main door area and living hall, those i can make use the powerful flying star 8 at NE2. i have a thought, will i be a good choice to put a water feature at NE2 to test if there is any mone…

1. Please note that symbolism is important. Thus if one does not use REAL water usually classified as "Yang water"; "Yin Water" in the form of a koi fish painting can represent the water element (or to be exact it is a combination of metal-water element.) The painting can be used instead of a "miserable" glass bowl - as it may be a breeding ground for mosquitoe lavae - still water. 2. Fire element can be represented by "lighting" instead of using the alternative red colour. For example, the most effective way of neutralising #3 bad wood is to turn on e.g. a red led light. 3. Thus the Five Elements Concept is very flexible in that one can use colours / colours with sha…

Further to what I had mentioned; the key thing is (within one's control) AVOID: any disturbance at East is the safest bet to ride over the "EAST sector during 2011". Thus norenovations: including drilling, hacking ofwalls andre-painting at East.

Further to what I had mentioned:- 1. Most consensus (amongst) geomancers is to locate the most "yang" (bright) qi area of the home. Where e.g. it could be the most openings be it the windows or balcony doors. 2. For high floors (storeys);IN GENERAL themost likely facing direction is the "stack"where the unit (especially the living room balcony faces); Especially if one does not often open the main entrance door. And in many instances; many condos- during daylight withoutthe aid of lighting is often quite "dim". 3. Therefore, it does not matter if you have a penthouse or not. Just imagine; a landed property. I am sure, (else my head gets the chopping); there are defiinite…

Thanks for your advise. Based on your advise on "Under Shapes and Forms FengShui", west side is "white tiger". Appreciate if you can advise what is best to deploy at that west sector? Cheers

Feng Shui is also about common sense. Often, there is no perfection in Feng Shui. Most of the concepts should be considered as "NICE-to" and not a "MUST-have" Reference: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=29&mid=26329&new=
