  1. 1. It is good that Singapore is continously "harvesting" it's rivers by building dams to create additional water reserviors.Marina bay, punggol etc.. 2. Large water positions good rite? 3. This child... put two and two together and he is creating his own water fall (fresh floride water) in his parent's home! Good luck to him!
  2. 1. Do you know that mountain star can be activated with ordinary items. Not necessary with a fancy amertyst purple mountain stone! 2. By the way, this person works at a metal foundry... And what is better than "ordinary" items found in the metal foundry?
  3. Geomancers are good at squeezing out "Quatum Leap" and fixing the leaks....
  4. 1. How do you know that this home is like a money pit? 2. The rich gets richer, as they employ Geomancers to advise them on building a home that in some cases look like this.....
  5. 1. As the CFO was not happy with her Boss's comments on her "lousy" company logo; 2. The CFO handed a resignation letter and formed a new company. Guess what name did she choose. 3. Today, this CFO is a multi-billionare and owns vast amounts of shares in many Shipping companies all over the world.
  6. Boss: " I want you to design a logo that portrays our company's vision: Customer's come first ". CFO: " Boss, you got the wrong person to design the logo. " Boss: " Don't worry, I trust you the most!" CFO: " Dear me, I studied in America, I love the green back; and I love money". Boss: " My god, what have you done? LOOK.. just look at your LOUSY company logo! "
  7. 1. What do you think of my new company logo? 2. I wanted a nice name for my business. 3. I am a Christian and want to show the world that I am one. I spoke to my graphics designer and he came up with such a wonderful company logo that has both a nice name and a distinct cross on it! 4. But why did the Geomancer says he does not like it? He hate guns? As it looks like a gun sight to me?
  8. 1. I have chosen a nice name for my business: Golden State Company. 2. What is my company doing? I deal with light and space; earth wind and fire! Feng Shui or Vasthu! 3. I did not realise that my company logo symbolises a shrinking business! HELP! HELP! HELP! 4. Oops! From Sunshine to Sunset industry...
  9. 1. The Jade was completed in 2007. And is virtually next to the Bukit Batok MRT station. Some of the units can be seen in the MRT train station platform itself. 2. This development is 30 storey's high and around the same height as it's neighbouring newer Housing Board flats. 3. The most distinctive feature of this small condo of 250 units is the two very distinctive "holes" in the large slap or block of rectangular "earth" shaped design. 4. There are two holes or openings in this block. The "holes" are an original import from Hong Kong; where it was to allow the dragon qi to pass thru. Nowadays, lesser and lesser condos, have such openings - the main purpose is to allow the "Dragon qi" to pass thru it. This development has two holes...thus.. it means that they want both the male dragon and female phoenix to pass thru. 5. Stacks in this development face either Flying Star Period 8: N2 or S2. The MRT station is at an angle with this development which has a multi storey car park attached to it. 6. This development is leasehold at 99 years.
  10. 1. I believe you are refering to the junction closest to Yishun Ave 1 and Yishun St 81 : beside Block No. 91. 2. This Tower 9 is an identical twin of No. 89.Yes, the main facade of this block faces North-South. The are twin stacks to the 91. One stack faces 125 degrees: Period 7: SE1 while the other stack faces 210 degrees or Period 7: SW1. Between these two stacks, in very broad general terms: the stack facing SE1 - is not the best, but slightly better than stack facing SW1 with Period 7 influence.
  11. 1. Generally, the plot of land is still acceptable under Shapes & Forms Feng Shui especially since the sides of the plot is parallel with each other. 2. Of course other plots especially to the left two plots are broader. However seems acceptable. This reminds me of Vietnamese homes where homes were taxed based on the frontage. Thus Vietnamese homes became one long narrow home. Of course this plot should be much larger then them. 3. Based on 20 Year Period 8, the plot you are looking at should be North West facing and should take advantage of the facing stars otherwise other stars are not so good.
  12. 1. The Clubhouse of The Tropica has wooden trellis that acts like porcupine spikes.. but as they are wooden, they are "softer" unlike the metal ones at the newly TOP Carabella. 2. Majority of the units are very close-by to the club-house. But do always stand inside the apartment looking outwards of every balcony, windows to look for such "poison arrow" aimed at an existing apartment or home.
  13. In Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China; many grave sites are chosen as they had good Feng Shui. The premise is that the Chinese felt that if their ancestors are buried in good sites; this will dwell well with their decendants. Thus many parts of Singapore be it Yishun (Teochew cemetry); Old Bedok Road; Aljunied, Orchard Road, Bishan all used to have cemetries - on "auspicious sites. This article is well researched and great reading...
  14. Date: 23 August 2009 at around 1.45pm Location: SLE towards City before the Yio Chu Kang Slip Road Road condition: Light rain and wet road Look out for a blue Comfort Toyota Crown Taxi.... Video taken from mycar frontblack-box video camera. (There are two black-boxes : front and back of the car)
  15. 1. Fire element can be considered as a colour & /or lighting. 2. Often a Geomancer may advice the client to neutralise #3: Disputes, Quarrels & Romance issues with lighting. 3. For example, a red lamp can be used to help neutralise the #3. 4. Nowadays, energy saving & low heat direct connect to power point 110 / 240 volts light socket. 5. Between the white led vs the red led, the red led light is preferred to help neutralise or counteract #3. 6. These led lights can be safely turned on 24 hours to neutralise #3. Note: Best to consult your Geomancer as #3 is taken out of context from the entire Flying Star chart. A proper analysis of both the WS# , MS# and Base# should be considered; instead of automatically applying this "cure" to any #3 that you may find under your Flying Star Chart. 7. Picture was taken on 23 August 2009, at the Causeway Point, Homefix store (Basement)
  16. The best solution is as illustrated previously, is to do landscaping "behind" the home. Best lightfixtures shouldpreferably form a "square or rectangular" shape as far aspossible: just imagine froma helicopter view.
  17. 1. This is a typical interior layout plan of a Housing and Development Board (HDB) government public housing. 2. This type of layout plan is considered the largest at it's time : the Five (5) Room HDB flats. These flats were constructed within 1964 to 1984. Most of the flats were constructed sometime in mid 1970's. 3. The characteristics is that each block has four of these stacks. And the entire block looks like or often lovingly called "Point blocks". As when all four stacks are joined together forms a rectangular shape rising vertical thus .. referred to as Point blocks. 4. These flats are scattered all over Singapore's public housing projects: From Bedok to Marine Parade to Balestier Road, Ghim Moh, Holland Road, Hougangto just anywhere that you can find public housing that was constructed in many mature estates. 5. As these flats are the largest at that time; it is meant for the middle class. In 1976 the government launched another statutory board called : Housing and Urban Development Board (HUDC) to cater for those whose salary is above the qualifying level for HDB flats. 6. Can still see the first generation HUDC flats that are similar to the external "point block" shape at Laguna Park and Braddel Heights estate.During this time, there are also special two level (adjoined staircase type ofbigger flats) - Amberville was torn down. 7. Many get to purchase the outside area marked in "yellow" to extend a gate outwards. Some remove the entire balcony sliding glass at marking C. But placed casement windows at marking B. Else, there is a loss of qi or direct path of inauspicious qi from marking A (main door) towards marking B. 8. Again these flats have auspicious main entrance door measurements that are Feng Shui ruler friendly. 9. The layout plan has overall good Shapes and Forms Feng Shui:- 9.1. The entire layout plan is overall quite rectangularish with some protrusion at the service balcony area - acceptable. 9.2. You don't get to see toilets at the middle of the home. All the toilets are strategically placed together sharing an external wall. = Good shapes and forms. 10. Slight variation to this layout plan are the balcony design. Some balconies are rectangular in shape while others, don't have a protruding balcony nor rounded balconies.
  18. 1. Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, it is considered inauspicious to accept or approve the placement of any signage especially if there is a "spilt" in the middle of the signage: 1.1. It literally symbolises a "split" or disharmony of family relationships. 1.2. Under commonsense approach, there is a literal or real split due to wear and tear at the top middle portion of the signage as shown under red marking "A". 2. For business, it is more important to specify that your company signage should not be split in the middle - if possible. Thus instead of two pieces joined together, if really no choice at least a three piece background would be better choice.
  19. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, artifical plants may be used to represent the wood element. Especially in a water feature or if a young couple has no time to water the plants everyday.
  20. 1. The Meyer Place has two "blocks": The tower block and the conservation bungalow. 2. Formerly, behind the conservation bungalow used to be an open space of the previous hotel. 3. Today, this becomes not only a car park but also a swimming pool on the top deck of the car park. 4. Thus, today, you can say that there is a large water position, behind the conservation bungalow of The Meyer Place. The Feng Shui of the tower block has not changed. But the Feng Shui of the conservation bungalow, has changed with the newly TOP The View @ Meyer. 4. From the site plan; from the top view one can see the swimming pool and the conservation bungalow clearly marked. With some imagination, one will notice that the water position (the swimming pool) is at the back of the conservation bungalow.
  21. 1. Often many Chinese believe that it is not auspicious to see an opening eg. balcony window directly from the main door. Thus, it is not exactly a bad thing with a partition "blocking: the main door. 2. There are so many ideas about what should or should not be directly facing the main door: 2.1 Some felt that when we enter the home, we should not be met by a "wall". To some, this symbolises an obstacle of sorts. 2.2 Sometimes, this can be a plus point as one's main door no longer faces an "opening". 3. Thus for every argument, there is often a counter-argument for it. 4. There are quite alot of apartments nowadays with the main door facing the kitchen door directly. And often, many of us do not close the kitchen door. This has more to do with both:- 4.1. Commonsense and symbolism. 4.2. Under commonsense; it is very similiar to having a main door opened in full view of the dining table. Here, imagine - first impressions. If our dining table is messy or cluttered, the first thing our guest would see is the messy dining table. Same thing. If we enter the main door and can see thru the kitchen cum service balcony; some people hang underwear, bras and clothings in full view of the main door. 4.3. Symbolism: Here, if we stand at the main door looking into the home; and can see sharp objects like knifes; it is symbolically inauspicious. As these are sharp objects - not good to see all these items. Here, another "fairy tale" is that a would be thief may even run into the home and get hold of the knife and the rest is history. 4.4. In your case, try to keep the kitchen cum service area as neat and tidy as possible. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, My main door is facing the kitchen door directly. Other than putting a divider in between, are there any other feng shui remedies? This is because my store room is in between the kitchen and main door, so there might not be enough space to place a divider. I have also read that its not good to have something blocking the main door when you enter.
  22. 1. All three may be considered "herbs" of sorts. Pomelo leaves are crushed and often used as remedies for arthritis & aches. 2. The closest equivalent "Chinese" thing is as you had mentioned from the citus family. In Asia, there are at least three variants of the citrus plants - many that have adapted to their country. 3. The citrus fruit especially lime is also used for "cleansing rituals/beliefs". For example, when someone felt that he/she has bad luck - flower bathing ritual includes a cut lime (cut into two pieces) combined with the flower - after a bathe to symbolically wash away bad luck... 3. While ecucalyptus can also be used, abeit, more exotic than the above two. 4. I would do the same and use citrus plant as a 1st choice subsitute. Anonymous wrote: We're moving into a new apartment tomorrow (Aug. 20) and we're supposed to sprinkle water around the walls with pomelo leaves, but I cannot find them anywhere in Paris. Is there another more common substitute? I found a citrus plant at a local flower shop, will that work? Or eucalyptus leaves? Or just my fingers?
  23. 1. Even if we want to place decorations; it would be good to place "smiling" decorative objects big or small in any development. 2. Some wise homeowners would prefer to choose: well rounded, happy faced lions on their gate pillars vs having "fierce looking" figurines.
  24. 1. You can find out the type of careers related to the fire element, here: http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm Anonymous wrote: hi, I would like to know how do we determine if a job/career is related to the fire element. Is the sports gambling industry considered a 'fire' industry? 2. In general, gambling is associated with the Earth element.
  25. 1. Frankly, all these depends on the individual, especially for those seeking advise from their own "elderly" family members. 2. Many in the past has done paperwork or even placed a deposit on a new home (condo). 3. As your first appointment is only paper transaction, purely this is acceptable and not physical entry or ownership of the home as yet. 4. Personally I feel that it is acceptable. Anyway, 19 September 2009 is the start of the Chinese 8th lunar month.
