  1. You wrote: "Just curious, is the roof frame in the picture above considered as beams? Because it supports the whole roof, not just decoration." 1. Under Feng Shui real beams are suppose to have a "compression" directly below it from a FS point of view. 2. Look here. even if it is a REAL load bearing beam.. I believe no one will be glued directly below it for extended hours. Unless we live in North Korea and the dear leader KIM blah..blah... force a person to stand below it for prolonged hours. If not, what is the worry?
  2. "I should remember to leave more plates, utensils and other cooking items to collect such wonderful Ajinomoto! - Not available elsewhere!" Oh dear! My thoughts are not so much of visibility issue. But rather health considerations. This is because to us clean clothes are hung. I am more concerned with the residue from soap powder or detergents used to wash the clothings. One cloth nevermind. But many clothings + many days, many years... hopefully the unseen residue from the washed clothing, no matter how clean may still have detergent residue. Got it, get it? Of course, the consequence is that the food may taste extra special with added ingredients. But personally, I don't ever want e.g. a washing machine next to my kitchen stove, utensils etc... also. P.S. It is just like the recent case of a Singapore MP suddenly discovered when he spelt the Vice President of US name KAMALA Harris spelt backwards! Oh Dear ALAMAK! Nasi Lemak -:) Again it has more to do with Common Sense then Feng Shui .. if in the long term... touch wood family members kena ... some form of ... CAN_ _ R.
  3. Greatearth Corporation Pte Ltd and Greatearth Construction Pte Ltd, the main contractors for 5 Build-to-Order (BTO) residential projects, have informed HDB that they are facing financial difficulties, and despite the government assistance provided, are unable to complete the following projects: ▪ Senja Ridges ▪ Senja Heights ▪ Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok ▪ Marsiling Grove ▪ West Coast Parkview We are working to bring on board new contractors as soon as possible to complete the remaining works. We have also reached out to the affected flat buyers, and will continue to provide updates, including the revised completion date of flats, after the new contractors have been appointed. In the meantime, HDB has arranged for contingency contractors to secure the worksites and carry out housekeeping and vector control. HDB is doing our utmost to minimise the extent of any delays, while ensuring that safety and quality are not compromised.
  4. Like for example a certain zodiac sign not suitable to move in on a certain year or must have certain direction facing etc? Reply: Have already forwarded entire type of services. Perhaps only one in a million can only think of move in in a certain year. Rare indeed

  6. In my opinion, 70 percent of what many claims to be of Feng Shui origin can be explained simply by pure Common Sense! Don't expect every single thing to revolve around or under Feng Shui!

  8. I believe Feng Shui is not about controlling every detail in a house. Feng Shui is about the overall layout, like placing the stove in the right spot compared to the sink and checking what is on the same wall as the stove. Some Feng Shui Masters say you should have a bed with four legs because it lets qi flow underneath. But really, this is just common sense—a bed with legs makes it easier to clean under the bed! The idea about qi flowing below the bed doesn’t make sense. If it did, what about the millions of Japanese people who sleep on beds right on the floor? Or families with small kids that put mattresses directly on the floor? It’s the same with advice like "having a skylight directly above the kitchen or stove is inauspicious." I would simply say you shouldn’t do this, and that’s just common sense. For example, if certain roof tiles catch fire, they melt into liquid. If there’s a fire and the skylight is made of regular glass, broken pieces can fall down and hurt or even kill someone. (There’s a scene like this in the movie "Ghosts," where someone is hurt by falling glass.) I even wrote a whole book on Common Sense Feng Shui, and this is just another example of it. P.S. These two roofing materials are not safe to use above a stove. I would never want my loved ones cooking under these because they are very dangerous Fire rises And if the roof is not fire-proof it could catch fire

  13. Can I hang a protruding light at the bedroom hallway? Reply: Often an aircon serviceman or something carrying a ladder may have to pass through this narrow corridor. Most of the time, the service person does not look up and at times, the tip of the ladder may hit or damage a protruding hallway light. Thus it is preferred to use flushed lights to ensure or minimize such an accident (if any)
  14. Hi Master Cecil, now 7th month, can make offer for property? Reply: Nothing to do with Feng Shui. Up to individuals. Understand if a home is "occupied" and one move-in and disturb THEM. But how can signing an agreement anger THEM. That's all I have not bought a house during 7th month.. but got buy a car during this period. LOL Thus generally, if one is concerned and checked with parents who find it a taboo.. then don't else.. frankly.. not an issue
