Interlude: 1. Many Feng Shui Masters FSMs are a Feng Shui Shop in disguise. 1.1. Some call their shop “Lifestyle”. The only good news about lifestyle is that it supports their lavish life thanks to our hard earned $$$$! 6. These wealth luck are mostly FREE! Hugging a loved one. Put on a great smile-:)

Apologies that I am still not very sure. So the move from the current washing machine now at the window if we shift to the washing basin area with front load will be better n will not impact the 3 bed layouts? Reply: This is not Feng Shui. Based on pure common sense. As either power or soap is used. If power it can contaminate the bedroom If the washing machine is warm, some soap moisture or white powder can contaminate the bedroom. Common sense. Not everything is Feng Shui, here

Case Study 8: Don't want my unit smelling like a BBQ pit especially on every T.G.I.F / weekends / Public Holidays 1. It is surprising that for such a development of 700 units, there is only one BBQ Pavilion. 2. For sure, if I were a buyer in this development, I would promise myself to stay clear of a unit close-by to it! 3. As I don't want my house to smell like a BBQ pit and or a shelter for homeless ants and their relatives. 4. As the ingredients of food, food waste, food in bins, sticky sugared drinks spill-overs can be one's worst nightmare!. 5. Hopefully also the other two Outdoor Dining Areas: One marked as 21 at The Playfield and the other 77 at The Parc House (2nd storey) would not be as equally bad as the BBQ Pavilion. 6. Really, 3 Dining Pavilions excluding a Picnic Lawn (at The Lawn) are enough to cater for some of the party animals in this 700 strong development?

Case Study 7: Potential Sha Qi or Poison Arrow(s) from neighbouring block/stack 1. There are potential Sha Qi aimed towards stacks #20, #24 and #33. 2. The most severe is stack #20 as it is aimed towards the stack/unit's living room. Which is the hardest to cure given that this area of the house often should be airy and open most of the time. 2.1. How about installing external zip track blinds? It is a good idea, here. But let's hope the colour chosen is white or ivory. Not brown or chocolate coloured blinds. As there is a huge contrast with dark coloured blinds. How to know? Only time to be certain is after T.O.P. when one gets the details from the Managing Agent. 2.2. Secondly, for stack #20, it is suppose to have a wonderful view of the pool. And who in the world would draw down the external blinds covering the entire balcony 24/7? 3. For stacks #24 and #25 the severity is lessen given that the Sha Qi is not aimed towards their living room but a specific bedroom. Which can easily be neutralised or cured. While for #33 it can be a touch and go situation.

Case Study 6: The next closest thing is the Showroom Model especially for those intending to buy low floors especially levels 1 to 4 to look out for signs of any potential Sha Qi or Poison arrows 1. There can be a potential Sha Qi or poison arrow (if any) especially from roof lines as marked in red: X, Y and in yellow Z. 2. Most likely no issue with marking in yellow "G". 3. For levels #01 or units with Personal Enclosed Space (P.E.S.) and levels #02, #03.. less discerning are the tree trunks -- hopefully does not slide towards the centre of the living room balcony. As these are harder to cure.

Case Study 5: Interested in a Penthouse (PH) Unit? Where is the Water Tank? 1. Under I-Ching, it is considered inauspicious to have a water tank above one's "head" aka the roof. 2. The Sales Brochure PDF which I had extracted as a .png seems unclear. 3. But a rough outline shows like every Block seems to have three stacks with a water tank directly above each of the PH. 4. Given that there are only a total of four stacks per block, one one stack out of four is considered lucky to avoid such a senario. 5. Bad enough that water-proofing of the roofing depends both on workmanship as well as age of the buildings. 6. I still clearly remember the time when a client was considering a top-floor unit at Parc Palais condo at Hillview. 6.1. Parc Palais condo (T.O.P. 1999 or already 21 years at the time of writing this article) is an ageing development. Somehow there were noticeable leakages from the ceiling. And we were able to determine that a water tank sits directly above the leaking area. 6.2. Most likely, it is not due to structural problem (Hope so). But rather, it was felt that a water tank logically needs to be bolted onto the roof. 6.3. Common sense says that perhaps, due to the constant expansion and contraction of the tank.. may have caused the bolts to create cracks through time. And frankly, it is not possible or practical for repairs to be done frequently. 7. Okay, most likely for the first few years, this should not happen at Parc Central. 8. I understand; any leaks from the exterior is the responsibility of the MCST. No matter if it is the 1st year or the 55th year of the block. 9. But do know that not all MCST will do due diligence or possible or practical to do so as mentioned under above Para 6.3. 10. Photo: A water tank above the Just T.O.P. HDB Northshore Straits View:-

Case Study 3: Potential Sha Qi and Stacks #06, #07, #24 and #25 1. Depending on the wind direction and if on a windy day, may expect significant air-flow towards the yellow highlighted areas of these four stacks. 2. Especially on windy days, good to control the wind blowing towards the rear of the unit and/or master bedroom = by adjusting or closing the windows or kitchen, yard windows doors (if any)

Case Study 2A: Need to bear with (Oops I mean live with) the Centralised Pneumatic Refuse Disposal System for the estate 1. Even an "Atas" condominium with a high number of expatriates also face the same concern with the centralised pneumatic refuse. "You will be updated once the system is restored. MCST would at the same time like to offer a reward of S$200/- to anyone wor a group of person who could witness such occurrence of anyone misusing the system and disposing non-permitted items and provide evidence that lead to an arrest and /or prosecution." 2. Reference: Chapter - 15A & B: Pneumatic Waste Collection System Is the Sales Brochure Useful for Feng Shui? Reading between the lines of the Sales Brochure - Feng Shui Tips & Guidelines - FengShui.Geomancy.Net P.S. Perhaps, if everyone is educated about the pneumatic waste system and do their part, it is suppose to be an efficient and cost-effective system. Fingers-crossed. Case Study 2B: Where is the Bin Centre? Basement Level closest to Block 119 3. There will be a high chance of the Pneumatic Waste Collection System going on strike. Hopefully not so often. 3.1. In the event that bins will have to be manually cleared, moved and deposited at or close to this Bin Centre, pray that the stench does not permeate to any of the units at Block 119. 3.2. This is because no homes has ever been built like a submarine. Where one can simply close all hatches and be within an enclosed eco-system. 3.3. If so, good luck... to you... LOL Resident of Block 121 #01-05: "Oh dear... I hope I am clear from this issue! Resident of Block 121 #01-06: "Me Too! Crossing Fingers.. to live a stench free life!" 4. On 12.12.2020 Recently T.O.P. development at HDB Northshore Residences I & II 4.1. None of the high sounding rebuke found at Reflections at Keppel... no potential report to police threats... "We have observed that there has been numerous incidents on choking of the refuse chute at Northshore Residences I & II. Please be informed that the pipe of the Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS) for general and recyclable waste can only fit items that are smaller than 50cm by 50cm."

Case Study 1: Lost love between United World College (UWCSEA) and Block 135 stacks #35 and #36 1. Why the lost love? 2. Lost love is when one finds out that the "bladed block profile" is a potential sha qi or poison arrow towards stacks #35 and #36 up to the roof-line of the UWCSEA classroom block. "Now I understand why there is lost love between me a subsidiary proprietor of #03-35-:(

Case Study: Two strikes and you are out? Hmm...... 1. Okay, this is not that serious. 2. Just that planners of development never really understand that Spice and Herb Gardens seems a good idea. 2.1. But, these herbs and spices can never be edible with the weekly fumigation of the entire premises.... Reference: Dairy Farm Residences by UE + Herb garden?
