Part 3: Teochew Mee Pok Stalls all over Singapore
Blk 671 Edgefield Plains Coffee shop. $4/-. Should have requested for mee pok. As their thin noodles is pretty large sized. And “hard”. Otherwise the sauce is okay. Fish balls nothing to shout about. Can easily be found in supermarket shelves. As factory made.

Feng Shui of 1 Canberra (One Canberra) EC
The architect was nice to provide “fins” for some of the units facing the afternoon sun… Reminds me of the “sail type fins” at / surrounding the Infineon building at Kallang…

Feng Shui of 1 Canberra (One Canberra) EC
One of the things one looks out for of a ground floor unit is the location of the ventilation shafts of the basement car park. Fortunately, this is not direct below a unit’s window[s] or balcony. Okay to be here, at 1 Canberra

Bedroom door facing walk in closet
Most common advice given is a partition between the door and that “upwards” stairs. (Since highly unlikely, one will ever change the position of the stairs.)
-
Bedroom door facing walk in closet
Technically, when entering the house, one can still see the stairs whichever door is used. (Regardless whether the stairs decide that it only wants to move people one-way up or not. In my opinion, only perhaps one encounters a very liberal Feng Shui Masters; then one will "hear the good stuff".. LOL

Bedroom door facing walk in closet
Frankly, no offence but logically there is no such thing as "the staircase [ONLY] going upward? I hope it is not about the case of "I only want to (or pretend) to be able to hear the 'good' stuff?" The saying: Whatever goes up must also come down. And further more, how does a staircase knows that is only for going upward? Puzzled....

Frankly not perfect. But good that the unit is "rectangular" shaped. Related: Triangle plots are equally common even in my country

Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo units
You wrote: Is it a concern if the owner of the unit has passed on a year ago (although the owner has not stayed in the property for many years but has been renting it out)? Old owner was said to have passed on in this bedroom/bed. As Imagined by Meta AI. Frankly should not be a concern. As Feng Shui is about earth luck. If owner did not stay in the unit, no issue. Is it possible to use feng shui to help to counter the above concerns? All these are not direct Feng Shui issues. How to counter? Check out the 12 Habits of Feng Shui. Boost Health, Wealth & Happiness What are other things that we should look out for? It is easy to make a one-line statement like this. The question is also… wow! How about first summarizing your life story in a single line?

Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo units
You wrote: How auspicious is it for the main door to face the staircase with door, about 1.5m to 2m apart? How can this be seen as fortunate? Hmm… Anyway, by law, all stairwell doors must stay closed at all times. This rule helps keep smoke out of the stairwell if there’s ever a fire, especially one starting in a lower unit, so people using the emergency exit can stay safe. If this rule isn’t followed, the development could face fines. The development is also responsible for making sure the stairwell stays clear of clutter, including anything residents might leave or throw there. Last word should be clutter. Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo units
Is it a good idea to buy a unit that has water leaking from the ceiling, especially if it’s a top-floor unit? The agent mentioned that the issue started about a month ago and that they’re already working with the management to get it fixed. By law, the condominium is responsible for repairing any water leakage, no matter how old the building is. A few years ago, I had a client who was also thinking about buying a top-floor unit. When we stepped inside, we immediately noticed signs of leakage. The owner living there wasn’t very willing to share more details. We decided to go up the emergency stairwell and found a water tank located right above the unit. In my view, one possible cause could be that the water tank is mounted on the rooftop. With daily expansion and contraction, its bolts may have shifted. Even if the roof has been tarred or waterproofed, wear and tear can still lead to frequent recurring leaks. What’s most worrying is the damage these leaks can cause to the home. For example, parquet flooring could get ruined, and electrical appliances nearby might also be affected. Once again, the Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) needs to carry out the necessary repairs. While talking about it is easy, the whole process can take time, and by then, damage may have already occurred.
