  1. Please don't think that Feng Shui is just about products, products and more products, only. This simple illustration shows the practical approach to Feng Shui:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/A_Practical_Approach_to_Feng_Shui%2C_Today
  2. Always remember: "Why are there so many different practises". Draws a Red Flag! Put on your thinking cap and visualise if there are any hidden motives (if any).
  3. If one has the time, one can go through this resource:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=32133 The above can be seen as drawing a parallel to what you had written. Till today, no one can provide a concrete date that the God of Wealth will appear in one's home. Furthermore, as to how many Gods of Wealth and visiting dates; there are so many conflicting stories. Ain't it similar in nature to your confusion of so many different advices on the placement of the pi yao? Again, let me remind all that; if one again comes across a similar situation e.g. how to place a three-legged toad etc... Do remember that you had entered into the realm of "make-believe". In a make believe situation: Anything GOES...
  4. You wrote: "May I seek your advice on how to correctly put a pi yao for tai sui as there were different saying on placing pi yao for tai sui. Some say place it at SE for this year and another say place opposite affected area and face tai sui. Which is true?" One can place one pi yao, two pi yaos, place it facing affected area, face away from tai sui, place it at SE. What does all these tell you? For me, IT IS TELLING! All these make-believes does not make ONE RIGHT! A person with a keen eye can after understanding what I said above, separate the grass from the weeds. Please don't be fooled by buying such useless products: Place it left, right, top, bottom is not gonna make any difference at all! The only people laughing to the bank are those selling these products are very high mark-ups! Buy them if you like decorative pieces.. otherwise, steer clear of them. Don't fall for such CON tricks.
  5. These are some considerations: 1. Under the Tai Sui or Grand Duke concept, it is best not to "disturb" him. Thus, ideally, avoid noise and renovations at this area. 1.2 Unless there is a dark hallway (be it whether tai sui is there is irrelevant); then perhaps for safety reasons, that location is lighted up. 1.3 Otherwise, the saying goes "to each his own". Light up or don't light up is up to the individual so long as it does not "make noise" at SE. 2. You wrote: "May I seek your advice on how to correctly put a pi yao for tai sui as there were different saying on placing pi yao for tai sui. Some say place it at SE for this year and another say place opposite affected area and face tai sui. Which is true?" 2.1 Just earlier this year, some one wrote in asking which day for her to "pray" to the God of Wealth. 2.2 I mentioned to her that the best CLUE gleam is that since there are so many people who voiced so many different dates on when the God of Wealth would arrive e.g. some say he will arrive on the eve of Chinese New Year, others say on the 5th day of Chinese New Year and more. 2.3 It is very similar to what you wrote. ry 3. All have no exact clue and thus give conflicting information is that what you wrote above in RED is a modern invention. 3.1. Thus one can place, here, there etc... implies that all this is real BULLSHIT! These are all bull-shit commercial products in the name of whatever! CON, CON and got CON! 3.2. If there is a REAL position, then there should not be so many contradictory statements to the effect. 4. The simple truth is : "When the buying stops, the selling can!". Overtime, many of such rubbish products collects dusts and thrown away!
  6. Having good determination is considered a good trait. With determination, implies a strong will to succeed in whatever one does.
  7. These are some considerations: 1. Yes:a. Logo Colors: White and Gold andb. Logo Shape: Roundmay be considered for your company logo. 2. As to "be good business partners" 2.1. One has to understand that the Chinese Holy Trinity of luck consists of 3 types of luck: 2.1.1 Heaven Luck (Born with) 2.1.2 Earth Luck (Earth luck) 2.1.3 Human or Man Luck (Relationship) 2.2. Each of the above comprise 33.3% each of the total luck = 100% 2.2 Your ba zi elements: Strong Earth and Strong Woodwere derived from your Heaven Luck. In general, the partner who is a Wood element would especially benefit from this relationship as Wood gets it's nourishment from the Earth (Strong Earth partner). 2.3 Please note that besides Para 2.2; other factors include: Earth Luck (Luck from home and office - if any) and Human or Man Luck factors e.g. your dealings with each other, education, upbringing etc.. These two factors along account for 66.666 percent of all the total luck. As it is, for now, we call this area a total unknown. 2.3.1 Thus even if both of you are say compatible under Para 2.2; this only accounts for 33.3 percent out of a total of 100%. ON it's own, this can still record as FAIL.
  8. Please note that these SGP$2x.xx plus tiny water features from a Feng Shui point of view are "play play" or not considered an effective water position. Very often, just after purchasing it for 3 months or more, the owners give up on such water features. The most obvious reason is that due to our climate (Singapore) the small amount of water in such water features dries up very fast. And SOMEONE has to frequently TOP up water to these fountains. Here, often, I call those who purchase such water features: "A slave to them!" These are pure commercial products. When the buying stops, the selling can!
  9. Often, the only time one finds pink coloured pineapples is during Chinese New Year (CNY). As RED (pink) is considered an auspicious colour...
  10. Further to what I had mentioned; you can also use the SEARCH feature on the TOP left frame of this forum. Try keying in " Company Logo" or simply "Logo". And you can also find useful information and similar steps on how to ..... Avoid posting my DOB is; My partner DOB is.... as someone has to input, come out with the results, analyse it. Not, here in this forum.
  11. These are some considerations: 1. As this is a general advice forum; you can check out your favourable colours and element: e.g. wood etc... 1.1. Find out:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element-howto.htm 1.2. Use this reference e.g. if you are a metal element then this chart will show e.g. circle is favourable to one or more individuals and colour associations related to your "logo": http://talk.geomancy.net
  12. Drawing a parallel to: "does the centre number play the major role when reading flying star" For example: "In the world of cars, it is asking about the obvious isn't it" (Find out, 1st)
  13. I do hope that I had correctly activated both my water cum mountain star correctly! OOPS!
  14. These are some considerations: 1. You have asked lots of questions in just one message. 1.1. In addition, questions like "does the centre number play the major role when reading flying star" is telling. Or "advice the methods to.." 1.2. Please reflect. You should be doing your own homework to find out all these. As such information has already being "invented" before or discussed before. 2.The Three-Step-Approach 2.1. As part of your question is based on the fundamentals of the Five Elements concept, in a DIY situation, one also has to learn the significance of each number in relation to the Five Elements concept. 2.2. For example, #7 = WEAK metal element. 3. Although your questions are short, but, in reality; one has to really make effort to do use your fingers to do the walking. 4. Frankly, much as already been written on various subject that you had mentioned. For example, type #3 in the SEARCH button and one can find what is #3 and there are lots of other discussions on #3. 5. Do a SEARCH for mountain star or activate mountain and one should be able to find many links, even in this forum. 6. The popular proverb: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Self-SEARCH about thefish and you feed him for a lifetime".
  15. In my opinion, as this topic has been covered extensively; And in past messages; I have described the various view points; Please make an effort to use the SEARCH feature on the Top left frame.
  16. How to tell who is the actual BOSS at home? Or even if the husband is "handpecked"?
  17. This comes under "Authority" in the 10 deities chart. Here, this person is considered to have good leadership traits.
  18. I am highly competitive. Is considered a good trait especially for a business person.
  19. These are some "chicken and egg" considerations: 1. This does not or no longer applies to you:- 1.1. Usually, a Flying Star chart is plotted and if one is given a choice of various rooms; this concept is useful to "flush" out which seems to be a better office for you. 1.2. In addition, before taking up a room, see if it is feasible for one to sit facing one's good or favourable direction(s) if possible. 1.3. Based on Shapes and Forms; be careful ofwhere the office door is in relation to the passage way e.g. avoid (if possible) directly facing the main entrance; 1.4. If possible, avoid the room door or room next to or near some kind of toilet or pantry. 2. If one has already had chosen or rather "stuck" with an office: in theory: one can still plot a flying star for that room but in my opinion, this is only a utopian dream given that if the room is only 10m by 10m or thereabouts: let's face it: "IT's peanuts". 3. In practice, if one is at stage Para 2. Then, go to 1.2. 4. In theory or in general: Yes, flying star reading to determine the facing direction is often based on the facing direction of that entire office main door frontage. 5. Coming back to an earlier question: It will be fool-hardy to place a water position in such a relatively small room. I won't thrust my business laptop and even ipad etc... in the same enclosed room with that water position.
  20. Scoring own goal or shot one's own foot?
  21. These are some consideration: 1. Under the Five Elements concept and Flying Star Feng Shui; No. 3 represents bad WOOD. 2. And assuming that you ignore the 20 Year Flying Star of that east sector; 2.1. Please note that under the Five Elements concept: Water fuels or (inflame) bad WOOD = 3. Thus technically, having a water position at #3 Quarrels, conflicts, lawsuits etc.... ain't a good idea. 2.2. Another consideration is that if one wants to have a water feature, should read: http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to 2.13, first. 3. Furthermore, I believe, from your e-mail address, I do note that you might be doing it for your office. 4. In Singapore, the humidity is already close to saturation point and often hover around 70 percentage or more. 4.1. I would rather concentrate on my core business than place a water position in my (I believe) a small office. Everyday, the moisture from that water feature would increase the humidity in the air. 4.2. All my sensitive equipment will be prone to damage under Para 4.1. 5. Next, year, and from then onwards, you mean that in addition to doing business, you have an additional consideration for where next to place that water feature. 6. In addition, please note that one of those teeny winey water fountain is not effective at all. 6.1. End up, you or your staff would become a slave to it. As in an aircon environment or even without it, the tiny water feature's water dry up easily. 6.2. Instead of doing roaring business, that fella, may become the hunch-back of Notre Dam. Due to the frequent top up of that water position. 7. Location, location, location 8. Most business "depend" rather on their building to take care of it. Such as a bright and clear frontage with or without a water position. 9. In addition, just prior to this Chinese New Year, a client asked me to look at two units in a specific building for their office. 9.1 By coincidence, the unit that they were eyeing was given up by a failed IT distribution business. Which, had "activated" a water feature (the shell is still there) but at a wrong 20 year flying star position. That position has the Water Star #3. Most likely, like the SGP government of today, they scored their own goal. 10. So, "what do you thing?"
  22. Please note that these procedures are not cast in stone. The earlier attachment is some of the more common practises collectively by various dialect groups in Singapore. If it seems inconvenient to you then simply : "Don't do it". There is no encyclopedia Britannia on such customs. And common sense says that if the surrounding area has e.g. smoke detectors then either use smokeless charcoal or skip this step. There is no right or wrong answers, here. Even some mother's boy would consult their mum or their grand-parent on such or additional procedures. Like Singapore's former Foreign Minister says... "go with (your own) flow". You don't have to follow what was written in the procedure to a "T".
  23. Please make an effort to use the SEARCH feature in this forum. For example, typing "altar dimension" As frankly, this is not a new topic.
  24. One can cover the company signage or ask the signage maker(if any) to cover the sign with red paper or some signage makers add value by providing a thin red cloth to cover such a sign. ROn 2/17/2013 3:49:35 PM, Raymond Cheng wrote:
  25. Various procedures including start of renovations (if any) and move-in have more to do with beliefs than Feng Shui. Cumulatively, or in general, the most common procedures can be found in the attachment.
