  1. All the attached posters are educational. Several warn that one may be severely FINED .... Singapore is famous for FINES: Throwing Litter and even parking a motor-cycle or scooter can costs (FINED) $5,000! Would you believe that? A poster is worth a thousand words?
  2. You really don't want one of these parked outside your (landed property) home! The vehicle's decal screams out loud! YOU OWE MONEY! Is this a modern way to intimidate people to pay up what they owe? Is this a clever load shark way of getting those who live in landed properties to pay UP!
  3. Sorry, the info is truncated or unreadable.
  4. Chinese belief that "spirits" move in a straight (line) path. Thus, because of this belief, it is better to have foot-paths or landscaped paths in a home that is winding...
  5. This condo unit has a high percentage of 3 bedrooms (variants) and 2 bedrooms stack. Majority of the bigger units face the afternoon West sun.
  6. Note: the illustrations(s) are based on Singapore's Right-hand drive version of traffic flow. For America, China, Korea &Europe (other than UK) and other left-hand drive countries, one must follow or visualise the traffic flow in your specific country:- Yesterday, while transit to a Feng Shui audit, near-by, I took some photos (illustrations) of the site where your dream home is. The attached photos with remarks on some of them shows: an imaginery line of travel - if a vehicle happens to run amok and directly towards the site of your dream home. From the photos, they show that there is a directional sign with two support pillars. And to the left of this directional sign, there is a lamp post. Thus even if a vehicle where to run amok and plough directly to the site of your dream home, most likely the vehicle would be stopped in it's track by the pillar(s) of the directional sign or the lamp post. What is more concerned of or for your dream home is that hopefully you don't get LOW floors: as inadvertently it may be blocked by the large green directional signage or the lone lamp post slice into the unit's window(s) or balcony. Thus to be safe, if you want to get your dream home it is preferred that the stack /unit should preferably be at least 5th or MORE storeys high. In terms of resale value, most Singaporeans prefer higher the better. (But of course, the price usually goes up incrementally at each level).
  7. Traditional Feng Shui cure(s) use either 6 coins = big metal or 7 coins = small metal. A string of 8 coins as shown in the example is a modern invention. Fuelled by the commercialisation of Feng Shui or rather "in the name of Feng Shui". Furthermore, these commercialised coins are extremely large: often twice or more (larger) than the traditional original coins. It has to do with the Chinese obsession with or the number 8. Which sounds like "prosperity". We can say that Feng Shui drives commercialisation.
  8. I kept on charging more and more to my various credit cards for the purchase of useless products in the name of Feng Shui! Please help me! Selling, Cheap!
  9. Some homes are like an unpolished gem. Some enhancement can do wonders to this home. But for some homes, the odds may be stacked against it. As no amount of enhancements can work. Such home often have more problem areas and instead of enhancements, one may have to use more Elastoplast (plaster) to fix up!
  10. I have a bad time at work: my boss is a task master and with no compassion. I am paid very little. And the costs of living in Singapore is so high.
  11. Is there a link between the Feng Shui Emporium and the Pest Control company? Plenty... take a look at the attachment... When the buying stops, the selling, can!
  12. To some who are superstitious, No. 13 is considered inauspicious. But to others especially Chinese Cantonese dialect group, instead, 14 is considered inauspicious. As 1 = Sure and 4 = die. Thus when we add the two together symbolises: SURE TO DIE. Thusauspicious or inauspicious numbers arehighly subjective!
  13. These are some considerations: 1. As we all know, we live in a real world. 2. In real world situations, like you have discovered, there is no such thing as a PERFECT date. 3. Even for any home, there is really no such thing as a 100% perfect home. 4. Here, auspicious dates are considered as NICE-to have. And not a must-have. 5. Often, even choosing a date for two persons may be difficult. Not considering selecting dates for three or more persons. 6. In tradition, it is good to select a date that is auspicious for the breadwinner (usually the Male breadwinner). 7. And nowadays, it is nice to also consider auspicious date (IF possible) for the spouse - but again, it is NICE-to have. 8. In my opinion, one has to be realistic and practical, here.
  14. Majority says "Shapes and Forms". Why? The FORMS (Shapes and Forms) determine the stars (Flying Stars). The stars determine fate of people living in the home.
  15. In the past, some over jealous Kung Fu practitioner would "strengthen" their fingers by punching into sand and later progress into punching at wood and stone. Thus, when one sees that their finger tips are all black; these practitioners are said to have fingers that are made of "steel". Lethal weapon...
  16. One can also use the search feature on the top left frame of this forum and type in e.g. "T-junction" to view more links to such articles.
  17. These are some considerations: 1. You wrote: The hallway door is facing my nice glass balcony one. 1.1. Without a photo, it is difficult to fully grasp this. As often, unless one is physically at the home/apartment; or at least see the layout out; 1.2. Harder here to understand what you mean. And also, how large is the "nice glass balcony" and whether you open it or slam shut it most of the time. 2. With all the haze around, one possibility could be the frontage could be "facing the street" view. 3. Other considerations include: if you always slam-shut your main door when at home; then this is highly unlikely to be your frontage.
  18. Many think that the estate of Ang Mo Kio (Amk) is a dialect transaction for tomatoes. So everywhere you go, you can see figures of tomatoes in the estate landscape...
  19. These are some considerations:- 1. Feng Shui comes in different flavours. 1.1. Ultra-conservative Feng Shui practitioners: these people will quote from ancient Feng Shui manuals and talk about the time or era when there were no high-rise apartments. 1.1.1. If so, the test of whether if a car suddenly run amok or out of control; could this vehicle hurl into the house or even the support beam of the apartment and even cause it to collapse? 2. Thus if you take the reasoning of such ultra-conservative Feng Shui practitioners then YES, your House is considered at a "T-junction". 3. Singapore is a "right-hand" drive country thus, for a better understanding, I have added theway vehicles would flowaround your proposed dream house. 3.1. The main concernis the "RED line" or the flow of vehicles exitingCompasspoint and heading towards the right. If you imagine the vehicle would suppose to curve towards your dream house. 3.2. Because of Para 3.1; let's hope someone does not speed out of the traffic junction and loose control of their vehicle. 4. The good news is that often the "most affected" is the ground floor unit. As the vehicle would normally by fluke land towards the ground floor unit. There is a remote possibility it may also fly towards 2nd storey. 5. Other than the reasoning under Para 4 and hopefully the say "run amok vehicle" does not destroy too many supporting pillars of the entire stack that make that stack collapse. This is the worst scenario. 6. Thus because of this type of scenario or once in a million of such an occurrence that some say it is inauspicious. 7. Other factors include how fast the run away car is travelling; any obstacles that prevent the car from crashing into your dream estate; how far is the stack from the road and run away car. 8. If you feel that the above is highly unlikely, then, this is a plus point.
  20. In my opinion, this is worth considering if you DIY Feng Shui. Again, this concept is based on common sense as well as doing it step-by-step in an orderly fashion:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Customer_Engineer_Concept
  21. It is never to late to approach Feng Shui using the three-step-approach:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach The saying goes: "Get it right the first time by having good fundamentals!"
  22. In all disciplines and professions, a Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. There is really no short-cut if one, wants to do a job right for the first time.
  23. At work, if we are considered very lucky to have a good boss: who is more like a coach and mentor. This is considered as having good Human Luck factor even if he is only our boss.
  24. As a weak wood or weak fire person, the wood element is favourable to both of them.
