  1. From a Feng Shui point of view: Eight Aspirations is static. And in the past, and even under the Lin Yun era of Black Hat (Tantric) sect; was very popular. Where you had mentioned North = Water etc... But the Eight Aspirations is a "fixed" model and does not consider TIME DIMENSION as compared to the timely stars of the Flying Star Feng Shui. In the 1970'sespecially1980's: a hiredgeomancer who proclaims that one needs a water position at North would not be questioned. But today, a client who is reasonably versed in basic Feng Shui would seriously question such a judgement or rather no brainer geomancer!
  2. These are some considerations: 1. You are moving towards the right direction (in your analysis). 2. In the past and even today, a simpleton geomancer would determine that a person is say a weak wood person. 2.1 And then require their client(s) to feature more wood in the entire house. 3. Since 1980's with the opening up and relevation of Feng Shui thru the use of both Shapes and Forms and especially an appreciation of the Compass School: Eight House and Flying Stars. 4. Nowadays, many now know that even if they are say a weak fire person like yourself; 4.1. Each human being has a birth chart. And can be analysed thru Ba Zi. 4.2. Every home also has it's own birth chart. Thus this is why you have determined that home to belong to Period 7. 5. Thus placing a water feature at one's home can now be determined by what are the stars at a specific sector. 5.1. For example, a sector with the current prosperity Water star #8 should be the correction location for a water feature provided; this is not the toilet, a bedroom or somewhere inconvenient or odd for a water position. 6. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: 6.1. Ming Tang (Bright Hall) and clear space to "accumulate" and allow good qi to both collect and come into a home. 6.2. Here, 70 percent of the time, even if one's home or building frontage does not have water stars; but if one were to place a water feature at the frontage; often, there is no issue, here. 6.3. The rationale is because, when we place a water postion, nothing can be built on-top of this water feature, thus allowing CLEAR SPACE. 6.4. Based on Shapes and Forms: CLEAR SPACE is one of the secret weapons. As clear space can allow a BRIGHT HALL effect. 6.5. While especially in the 1970's; in Singapore and with a reasonably sized landed property garden, Mango and Rambutan trees were popular. And once these trees esp. Mango trees reach 8 or more years old, they cast a large shadow below the ground. 6.5.1. Thus creating a dim and no longer BRIGHT HALL effect. 7. Placing a water feature or a fish tank and applying Flying Star Feng Shui: 7.1. From a practical point of Feng Shui; under the 20 YEAR Flying Star Feng Shui; especially if the water star #8 is found at the frontage or alternatively SW is at the frontage; having a water feature at the frontage e.g. at say the living room balcony is fine or OK. 7.1.1. Here, one don't really need to look at the annual Flying Stars to see where this water feature e.g. fountain can be shifted, year to year. In fact, how to? Often the water feature or fountain is pretty huge and only meant for e.g. the living room balcony! 7.2 Again, placing a water feature at the living room balcony is (I suspect) akin to Para 6.2, above. 8. If the annual star #8 happens to fall at one's living room balcony or a reasonble location that can "accept" a water feature, then as you had mentioned, we can then place a water position for that YEAR. 8.1. As I had mentioned earlier, often a reasonable sized water feature is pretty heavy and one can't simply place it on a set of wheels and start rolling it around our house! 8.2. Please note that the more effective water feature is defintely not one of those small table-top water feature. Frankly, such water features are simply? Useless. And furthermore need to constantly add water to it. As it is small and water easily evaporates from it. WHy become a slave to such a water feature, I wonder?
  3. These are some considerations: 1. Three main purposes of a ba gua mirror:- 1.1. If a poison arrow e.g. another neighbour's roof or lamp post is aimed at a home or a home is at a 'T'junction; then aba gua mirror may be used. Here, a conVEX mirror is used to deflect sha qi or such poison arrow(s) if any. 1.2.If there is a missing corner at an important sector or if facing a beautiful scenery, a conCAVE mirror is used to "suck" in. In the case of the missing corner, to "suck" back wealth. 1.3. Protection. Cars got air bags to protect.Often a bagua mirror with the 8 trigrams is used in conjunctionwith a middle convex mirror for the dual purpose of 1.1. and against "evil" spirits. 2. Inyour case, very hard totellfrom the photo ifyour situation is similar toa 'T'junction or not. If so,Para 1.1 may be used e.g. in your photo the smallest TOP middle photo. 3. Note: a ba gua mirror is not a cure all. Sometimes, there are more leaks in the home.
  4. Two important traits of a successful business person: 1. Determination and 2. Competitor For this person, he/she is not that competitive. As competitive means, don't want to lose out. Try to be at the best in one's field ie. always try to exce to be 1st or 2nd..or even 3rd ranked.
  5. Some companies should look at their core products, first before thinking that Feng Shui MAY help...
  6. The concept of grand duke comes about because planet jupiter has the greatest mass. With greatest mass, comes a strong gravity. Strong gravity can affect various planets and the earth. Can a brick be affected by gravity?
  7. 1. In my opinion, based on eye-ball method, the toilet is not a the centrepoint of the apartment. 2. If the main door is closed most of the time, (yes) it looks like this is not the mouth of the apartment. (Most probably it is as you had mentioned "NW"). 3. All streetdirectories even electronic ones such as from http://onemap.sg has the North marking stated on the bottom left frame or rather 0 degrees is alaways on the top. If one ones one's apartment in relation to the block plan, one can easily accurately determine the exact compass bearing with a protractor.

Good News! 9 out of 10 times; some use scare tactics to PLY their trade....

    Face

These are some considerations: 1. Haunted home 1.1 Often the clues are the eyes and surrounding eye area 2. Moles on the face Depends on specific location 3. Health considerations Things like a pale face and especially when someone glimse at the fingers (cuticle area) 4. Bull-shit I can still recall this incident: sometime in the year 2003; I was driving up the multi-storey car park. And this person was walking aimlessly. When I parked my car; this person wearing a turban: he came up to me and say "your face is".... and he can help me. I told him off! Just be wary of this last category.... who often prey on the innocent by trying to instil fear. And after that a CON job is waiting for the VICTIM.
  10. Many taxi drivers say that they are not machines and cannot work prolonged long hours without feeling the effects of health issues later on (besides the danger of fatigue).
  11. Many Singaporeans are not easily fooled by people who sell Feng Shui products in the name of Feng Shui. This is why many of such Feng Shui emporiums open shop and then close permanently. I have seen these shops at: Bishan North Shopping Plaza Compass Point EastPoint Hougang Mall Katong Shopping Centre Punggol Plaza White Sands All these shops come and literally go away permanently.... more like FLY BY NIGHT operations.... Just imagine, if many are smart to avoid these emporiums; YOU SHOULD, also! Why sink with them?
  12. Selling products in the name of Feng Shuiarehighly lucrative. Your grand parents time don't have such products. The sellers are trying to bring the wrong "HOPE" to people. Imagine, a sinking ship. Ain't adding all those useless products to a sinking ship not make the ship sink faster... Just think about it.. when you next see others trying to "push" them. Unfortunately, greed begets greed. This is why: when there are ready buyers; there are always ready sellers... Recently, I passed by Bishan North Shopping Centre. There was once a Feng Shui Shop selling all these rubbish products. It has closed = no more. Recently, I also passed by Punggol Plaza and White Sands; there were a Feng Shui product shop each at these locations.. no more... Another one at Compass Point also gone with the wind. Another Feng Shui products shop in Hougang Mall also closed shop. Looks like many Singaporeans are not so gullible after all! I am glad.. many see thru these sellers.... When the buying STOPS, the selling CAN!
  13. The Eight House concept is "as what it is". It is nice-to face one's good direction. BUT if can't; than too bad... Either you face your good directions or you cannot. It is like ebony and ivory: BLACK or WHITE no in-betweens, here.
  14. With the advent of news on the internet, hopefully, one day, local main stream newspapers would be more responsible in their reporting.....
  15. As a strong metal person, my wealth element is Wood. Just imagine a block of wood. With my metal tool, I can curve out a beautiful piece of art. Yes! I am Michaelangelo.. not just any Tom, Dick or Harry...
  16. 1. What you mentioned has more to do with common sense than Feng Shui. 2. As black absorbs heat more easily than other "lighter" colours. 3. During the 1st Chinese Emperor's reign, he made his ministers and scholars wear BLACK. (To represent water element). Thus BLACK does not necessarily means or impliesinauspicious. 4. Under the I-Ching blue represent difficulty. Thus if it is not BLUE, but black.. still not an issue unless one thinks "wrongly". 5. In war time in the 1940's to 1960's, wouldn't be great if the house roof is black in colour? Natural camofluage in the dark. 6. By the way, it does not matter or rather, just because you are a strong wood and he is a weak earth. To associate this with your house roof colour is like asking a vegetarian if roast pig skin appeals to him or her (or not). It does not matter if one is also tanned skinned, yellow skin or white skin, also. Else, all Chinese being YELLOW, may be asked to paint their roof YELLOW. 17. Hey! You are suppose to wrap the STONE. Not onto yourself!
  18. Under the Five Elements Concept, each body part belongs to a certain element. For example: Heart and Brain is associated with the Fire Element.
  19. This sample shows an actual Can or Cannot Buy comparison of two different units in two different condos. It so happens that the male breadwinner's Eight House chart is identical to the wife's chart. And this family is interested in two different units. And seeking advice as in which unit is better. An individual chart for each home has been done. But for confidentiality; it is not shown, here. I am only showing the Eight House sector by sector analysis of each unit.
  20. You wrote: 1) As I known that Crystal Display direction is Centre, NE and SW, If the NE,SW is not my good direction for my Bai Zi, can I still display my crystal at that direction due to Crystal is belong to Earth? OR I must display at my good direction accordingly to my Bai Zi? Reply: We human beings each have our birthday (birthdate). And as you had mentioned, the tool to understanding our birthdate is Ba ZI (Heaven Luck). However, do take note that each and every home also has it's own birthdate. For example, some homes were born between 1984 to 2003. While others that had just T.O.P. are born between 2004 onwards (until 2023). To analyse such EARTH luck, one of the tools used is the Flying Star Feng Shui. Thus although we humans have our birthdate, our own home has it's own ba zi. This is why, some say " Can I place a water feature in my home even if I am a weak fire or strong water person? " IF the location is or under Flying Star Feng Shui; your water wealth as defined as #8 water star; then definitely YES, one can place such a water feature even if it is not compatible to one's birth chart (Ba zi). Same thing, if that sector is (especially) your Mountain star #8 a "mountain star" can be activated, here. 2) May I know that normally Kitchen area is a good direction or bad direction for us? if good direction's area is located at Kitchen area, is that GOOD or BAD for us? To determine if the kitchen is good or bad for a person (especially the breadwinner); it can be determined from one's Eight House Chart. Please see a real life example. See attachment. Where this person is tearing down an existing home and trying his best to built from scratch a home that fits his Eight House chart as best as he can. Note: not possible to have a perfect home but if as many sectors match up with his Eight House, much the better.
  21. I cannot blame you for mistaking HERON BAY executive condo for HEROIN BAY EC. But ain't it a good thing that some can become so addictive to HEROIN, sorry, I mean HERON BAY....
