  1. Forest Woods Residences Condo By CDL First looks: the outline of the site-plan reminds me of a small grand piano. With a piece (in red) eaten up by a sub-station. This development sits at the main junction of Paya Lebar Road and Upper Serangoon Road. With a smaller estate road : Lorong Lew Lian. Which by the way Lew Lian suppose to be or sounds like "Durian"... It is good that the architect has set in the blocks/stacks furthest inwards: to avoid the traffic/road noise of both Paya Lebar and Upper Serangoon Road. And the entrance / exit of vehicles is via Lorong Lew Lian. Hopefully, when this development T.O.P. CDL should be presenting each unit with a crate of durians each. As in the past, some developers do present a bottle red wine as a gesture of good luck-will. First looks of Forest Woods Residences... Hopefully, the name implies that there will be abundance of trees in this estate... With or without Feng Shui considerations; this will certainly be fully booked given that it is just a five minutes walk to the MRT station.
  2. Although the above is one method taking the Flying Star compass readings. It is best to use the following method instead:- 1. Please see attachment. 2. Here, if one notice; the above reading was done by taking the readings along this red markings A to B. (Parallel to the side wall of the unit). 3. Instead, it is preferred to take a reading in blue. For example: standing inside the living room and facing the balcony. Thus take a reading from the blue marking C to D. 4. With this in mind, it is very tedious for me to work on each individual stack/unit facing. Thus, it will be on a case-by-case basis as requested by my clients. 5. Thus one may have to fine-tune the Flying Stars of these two blocks 110 and 111 to re-assess their Flying star directions in light of the above.

  4. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and Block 111 with stacks 01, 02, 03 & 04 Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; stacks #03 and #04 are less than ideal. As this is the major Entry / Exit ramp for the entire development. Plus it is close to/partially facing the bin point. N2 stacks with #02 and #03 has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back" of the unit. Thus not as favourable as stacks #01 and #02 which are S2 facing. S2. Stacks with #01 and #02 are the best stacks for a East group person. As both frontage enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars. And furthermore their facing directions has water. Bring great wealth. 1. Attached, please find a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. 2. In the attachment: it is advantages for the [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N2 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area. 3. The only concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck. 4. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred. P.S. As the readings are taking as a total Block e.g. 110; some geomancers may use the readings eg. from the centre most bedrooms facing outwards of the unit towards the balcony.
  5. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View Always mindful whether one's potential new home has afternoon sun : be it direct, indirect and roughly which areas of the home may be affected by the afternoon sun. I was once told by an overseas client who enjoys all 4 seasons. And she said that she does not mind her home having afternoon sun. As it can be very cold in the winter (up.. there)
  6. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and Flying Star Feng Shui of Block 111 Block 111 consists of a total of 4 stacks. Stacks #21 and #22 faces Flying stars P8 SE3 direction. While stacks #23 and #24 faces the opposite directions of NW3. NW3 with stacks #23 and #24 has the auspicious water wealth #8 at it's frontage. However, try to avoid the lower units as the lower units face the main entrance/ security guard. The bin centre is to the extreme right of stack #24. Other than this, the rest of the sectors on this home has imbalances. If the master bedroom or a bedroom is located at West sector of the home: be careful of frequent sickness Stacks #21 and #22 with SE 3 facing has the water wealth star at it's frontage. Thus, it is an advantage that these unit faces a pool of water. The rest of the stars in other sectors are inauspicious. And may need to be disarmed Good, if the rear of the house has a "mountain" support. P.S. As the readings are taking as a total Block e.g. 110; some geomancers may use the readings eg. from the centre most bedrooms facing outwards of the unit towards the balcony. Of course, if so, it may become a S1 facing unit especially for stack #21 etc...
  7. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and Christian type of "fish shaped" layout with one side having two blocks and the other four blocks will inevitable cause poison arrows from the side with two blocks... Sha Qi or poison arrows aimed towards stacks #17 and #20
  8. Northwave Executive Condo (EC) @ Woodlands View and 4 Bedroom Type D1 Here, it is not ideal to place a bed-head sharing the same wall as the WC. In addition, in this E1 layout; it is less than ideal for a stove to share the same wall as a WC:-
  9. Brand 1: Auto-Seal External door GAP seal In my opinion, this is a pretty good "mechanical" door seal. What happens is that each time the main door is at the close position; there is a mechanical seal that drops down to the floor: so that there is no longer a GAP to allow for brochures or even liquid to spill into the unit. Look down on the floor. There is an aluminium strip at the bottom of this condo unit floor. The product name is called "auto seal"
  10. Avoid purchasing a water feature similar to this one. As it looks ambiguous. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; to some; it may look like "monsters" or some ugly thing.... etc..
  11. Water features are a dim a dozen... Highly commercialised
  12. Actung! Warning! @ Blossoms @ Woodleigh
  13. The last Three photos were taken from one of the two potential Can or cannot buy home at the tranquil Lorong Ah Soo The properties are a road away from The Minton condo
  14. Tree trunk with nature's camouflage design. As found in Singapore's army no. 4 in the early 1980's print pattern
  15. Please see attachment. Although there were some vertical lines that splits the middle ... This brick wall type layering is this acceptable.
  16. Woodlands Spectrum I & II two-way vehicle ramp as seen from Woodlands Industrial Xchange
  17. The NW side of Woodlands Industrial Xchange building (especially high floors) eg. 8 storey has a commanding view of Malaysia: specifically Johor Bahru coast-line.. A million door factory cum office view...
  18. Many of these oval stainless steel seats were removed beside the water feature due to safety reasons. This was because the sun rays would heat up these balls. And if one accidentally places a hand or that of a child may get "burnt" This is why equally not good to have stainless steel railings at this Swimming pool. Just imagine on a hot sunny day; a child holds on too Long at the vertical stainless steel poles... As shown by the yellow arrows.
  19. For some; this happens only once on their lives. For others, they have no opportunity to buy a new home or rather buy a re-sale home... For whatever reasons; for most; this is indeed a joyous occasion ...
  20. Very common to see them on the wall panels and ceiling of new lifts that are protected by temporary plywood sheets... At Skyline I @ Bukit Batok; they even paste these adverts onto the protective floor panels
  21. Not sure why? All the self-storage facilities in Singapore are always so colourful. Hmm...Most likely, perhaps.. Make them easy to find....
