Is my neighbour reflecting bad spirits with his Ba Gua mirror?
Cecil Lee replied to CrispyChicken's topic in General Help
1. This version of the Ba gua mirror has a flat piece of mirror. 2. Many years ago around 1970's to early 1980's these were the most popular or rather the most common mass produced ones. 3. Thus in this period; such mirrors are used universally for every occasion: be it to scare away evil spirits and/or to deflect Sha Qi. 4. The above is the true purpose of the mirror placed above your neighbour's door. 5. Since this mirror can be used to deflect Sha Qi or direct it towards your unit; 6. You might have to consider a convex mirror. 7. Please ignore the mirror on the attachment as it is a conCAVE one. 8. In order to deflect back...then one may have to place a similar one but use conVEX mirror. 9. Before going into a Ba gua war; you could perhaps have a word with your neighbour and find out perhaps why is he placing such a mirror. FIRST. PS. Note: the photo shows a conCAVE mirror. This is just a sample showing particularly a simple no frills red border-line mirror that's all.- 1 reply

Marine Blue Twin Towers Under Construction Previously before Marine Parade Road (MPR) got diverted, there is a comfortable distance between MPR and the service road as well as the main gate / and actual block frontage of Marine Blue: Today, it does not look anything like the above. MRP is just a few yards away from the service road leading towards Marine Blue's main gate.

What to do about an addition built in a different period?
Cecil Lee replied to Meghan1's topic in General Help
These are some considerations: 1. Try to determine where are the worst flying star numbers for each period. 2. If they match then for certain, "these are the areas" that one might consider. The two worst stars are #5 (and can be made worst with #9 or #2) and #3. 2.1 If so, try to disarm them. 2.2 Can also fine tune and see if one can make it better by charting out the yearly stars such as 2016 and soon 2017 stars. 3. For the rest of your description; to me is not relevant as I can't rely on a few lines and make heads or tails of it. 4. Selective use of various charts of different periods is not the norm. 5. A higher success rate then is to apply the annual stars than under Para 4. Above. -
What to do about an addition built in a different period?

Since this is an "old" house; and if you or you know the history of this house should instead draw out two charts to see which is more accurate (relate to the history); Often, most Geomancers should be able to tell based on the clues or questions asked; Resources http://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/15308-how-to-find-facing-direction-of-apartment/#comment-32227 http://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/10515-changing-hdb-unit-to-period-8/#comment-21437 -
1. Why is it that some geomancers recommend that you use their recommended Interior Designer (ID)? And why you do not do so? 2. Reply: We have to ask ourselves is there any motive to this? 3. On the contrary, Geomancy.net will never ever tie up with any Interior decorators or contractors for three main reasons: 3.1. For the simple reason that this is a conflict of interests. Even if the geomancer does not get a commission or "cut"; we never know whether there is any bias or ulterior motive from the geomancer's advice? 3.2. "One man's meat is another man's poison!" I may like this individual of the Interior Design company very much. But you may not like the person. Or for larger firms, there are many staffs. You may not even get the recommended individual ID. but another staff attending to you. 3.3. Business cycle and cash flow: We have seen many times that if one is unlucky.. for many years.. a particular ID company may even have rave reviews.. but one can never know that it MAY also suddenly close down. Or being too popular.. result in delays and poor service! 3.4. Thus CAVEAT EMPTOR or Let the buyer beware, best! 3.5. Always choose some one whom you are comfortable with and can really help you or can mostly see "eye-to-eye" with your aspirations for your new home! 4. After our Feng Shui discussion, one can even provide the guidelines e.g. Option 1 to your ID for them to work on it. See sample attachments. 5. The main reason why Geomancy.net does not recommend any ID is simply because you are free to choose someone you are comfortable to work with. 5.1. In addition, you have the power to decide and be 100 percent sure that there are no hidden motives such as additional work needed that may jack up your renovation costs. 5.2. Many businesses have their ups and downs. Thus, even if an ID had sterling review previously; but somehow, when you engage them; you may not get the same level of satisfaction. 5.2.1 This is because, sometimes, be honest but one never know whether this ID has any financial difficulties such as huge bad debts owned to them or poor business or cash flow problems. 6. Therefore, do question if a Geomancer asks you to use one of their recommended ID's. Maybe also there are some "kick-backs". 6.1. For example, not too long ago; we employed a personal tour guide in Beijing. And each time, he would bring us to a specific place. 6.2. For example a restaurant. And after we had paid our meal; he would somehow "disappear" for a short-while. We then realised that he gets a commission from the restaurant. Base on how much we $$$ spent there. He tried to bring us to various shops. But we were aware of his antics! 7. My personal experience is; to see if the ID see-eye-to eye your vision for the new home-:) SAMPLE LAYOUT REVIEW.pdf

Part 1: Sea Horizon Executive Condo (EC)
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
Let's hope when it is time to resell my unit; the potential buyer will OVERLOOK this... Oh no! My main door looks directly towards the common rubbish chute... Nevermind make sure it is closed at all times. And no one shall place or deposit unwanted things there. P.S. For privacy, I have masked out the exact storey. Thus only highlight stack #40 instead. -

These are some considerations: 1. Once cremated the ashes remains "neutral" or "ashes to ashes". Thus, there is no concern even if urns are stacked 12 storeys high etc... Or placed in a one, two or four person's niche. 2. For eg. there are a few millionaires or past millionaires who were buried at the Gardens of Remembrance at Jurong (Christian) where the family of the deceased bought four niches. 2.1. And they erected a large plague to cover the entire 2 by 2 niches with that huge plague. 3. If your concern is more "under Symbolism" and the notation that it is inauspicious to have 3 more niches "READY" then this has nothing to do with Para 1 to 2.1. 4. Para 3 has more to do with human factors. 4.1. Traditionally, there is a family matriarch to consult with for such matters. And if e.g. the grand mother says okay, then go ahead with it. 4.2. Thus even if one does not have a family matriarch; do get feedback from family members: "Are they okay with this?" If so, then, go ahead with it. 4.3. Since the niche is large; yes, by all means place whatever meaningful items in the niche. 5. In essence, if after everything done; and if one still really feels not "right" then do go ahead and get a single niche. As one should never be made to carry the "burden" of thinking ... more.. as this world is already... stressful for most of us.

Today, while doing a new review; I detected that the block that I went to (will not disclose which one) is "unclean". ? From what I detected; because not a single unit in the whole of the 17th storey was never occupied this while; a few floors below also relatively small take-up; Because of this; this block 314 (?) last alphabet not shown has yin imbalances. The advice is that for the first few nights; if one hear knocking and other sounds; avoid opening the door. And avoid young ones near to the door. -

The Red House famous for the Katong Bakery and Confectionay has just re-opened. What a pity that the frontage did not use nicer signages. Since this is their main business front. P.S. Sorry for the blur images.

Midtown Residences by Oxley-Lian Beng Pte Ltd T.O.P. in 2016 The Midtown complex, featuring a combination of residences and shops, appears to be experiencing the same challenges as the oversaturation caused by the rapid increase of malls in Singapore. However, this development is not lacking in appealing shapes and forms; The issue primarily lies in its inconvenient location on the outskirts of a small Hougang estate. Consider this perspective: a representative from a local bank once mentioned to me that when an ATM malfunctions, customers often express that even a 200-meter walk to the nearest machine feels excessive... As long as the rental prices remain reasonable, there will always be individuals willing to establish a shop or a small "stall" in this area, particularly for niche market ventures. One notable niche is the money lending sector. For instance, in Clementi Central, one can easily identify at least six or more such businesses around block 441A Clementi.

The Midtown complex with a mix of residences and shops seems to share the fate of the glut in the sudden explosion of many Malls in Singapore. Although, this development does not have bad Shapes and Forms; This has more to do with it being inconveniently located at the fringe of a small Hougang estate. Look at it this way; there was once a spokesperson from a local bank who told me that when an ATM machine broke down; customers would complain that even a 200 metre walk to the next machine is too far... In the future, it may end up with the likes of a Sheng Siong or Giant ... taking over most of a level ... since there is already two NTUC Fairprice near-by.. Even so, the retail end of this Mall in a mature estate seems bleak even with a few developments coming up .. up stream at the apex of Upper Serangoon Road... Here, do remember that Feng Shui is not a cure-all. Last visit was on 11 August for a residential audit there. A new Coffeeshop just took over a vacant space. There is a huge moneylender’s signage....child care...
