  1. 1. Based on your description, your house should be safe from the sharp pointed roofs. Also make sure no pointed roof is aimed towards any other openings such as a window of your home. 2. Otherwise, from your description this situation is a non issue for your home.
  2. 1. Most likely, you may have to do like most people do, i.e. go with your personal feelings. 2. If you want to apply proper Feng Shui to evaluate your home, then the advice for a newbie is: Rome is not built in a day, and if you want to DIY Feng Shui, then like any other subject, one must invest in time and knowledge. Alternatively, if one is impatient and need immediate answers may consider hiring a practitioner, instead.
  3. 1. In theory, some Feng Shui practitioners automatically find that anything out of the ordinary is no good. 2. In my opinion, as the slanted ceiling is unlike a concentrated beam, should just leave it as it is. 3. A concentrated beam is no good as there is suppose to be a higher compression below it. While the slanted ceiling is totally flat much like a double decker bed which has a large flat surface. 4. Furthermore a higher ceiling improves air circulation or aids better dispersion of heat more efficiently. 5. For me, I would not be too concerned with it.
  4. Does your home have fencing, and gate. If so, for example if there are say wooden horizontal strips of wood on them such that it acts as a shield then this is the best transparent solution without resorting to a convex bagua mirror.
  5. Yes, symbolically, a good company logo should avoid anything that signifies cutting, slicing or pointed sharp edges towards the wordings.
  6. 1. Best colors are: water: blue. black or gey and wood: green or wood tone or brown
  7. 1. Given the limited space in your dorm, it is still acceptable. 2. If u feel uncomfortable, try to close the bathroom door when not in use. 3. The major concern is to avoid legs facing the bedroom door.
  8. 1. Please don't jump to the wrong conclusions. 2. Feng Shui also concerns with the amount of sun-light (or direct sun-light) coming into or "soaking into the walls of a home". 3. Please check out my previous postings with reference to Para 2. 4. Para 2 has nothing to do with Compass School of Feng Shui. Although, all "leaks" including Para 2 may add up to cause further problems. 5. Para 2, is about either the effects of direct sun-light (raditation) or heat (walls soak heat and slowly releases the heat in the evening - especially concern for countries close to the equator).
  9. Please see attachment for the centrepoint. And facing direction of the home.
  10. Quote: 1) our house is located in the corner(cul de sac), so we have 2 directions (NE & SE). The Main front door towards NE, but we have doors that get the most air flow from the garden (toward the SE), so am I right that our house is facing to SE actually ? And, the 4 symbolic animal should applies to this facing direction, rather than from the main door position? If so, the dragon will be in our garden (lower than the house, is this ok?) 1. More importantly, determine the frontage. Based on your description, it would seem that your home should be considered as SE facing. 2. In general, the 4 symbolic animal should apply to this facing direction.
  11. 1. Since your home is a landed property, usually, the facing direction is where you usually stand (inside the home) e.g. at the front lawn directly looking outwards of the home especially (it may be the main gate.) 2. Thus, from your description, it does not seem that your facing direction should be taken from your main entrance door direction. 3. Generally, many home's facing direction is as shown in the attachment. Where one stands under the purple "A" marking and taking a reading towards purple "B" marking. It may be different in your case, but, try to check out if the above, is possible or not. Quote: Dear Cecil, Please help me to find where are the mountain star 6 and water star 8. My house built in 1954 main door facing South and a tiny bit to the E, because the lot is facing the street on the West side, So my front door is basicly facing the neighbor front yard. I have 2 back doors, one to the North and one to the East. We don't use the North door, we only use the door to the East side because this is where we have the big fruits & flowers garden and play yard for entertainment. Please give me some advices,
  12. 1. What you had mentioned is purely on one's ba zi element. Ba zi also has other factors like personal luck periods, and even business luck during any period. 2. In your case, if you want to look at "geomancy", usually your ba zi, is looked at and another factor may be the Feng Shui of your home or office. Thus it may not necessarily be or not (from) all family's ba zi. 3. Thus at the moment, it can be anybody's guess as to what may be the problem.
  13. 1. Frankly, the three-legged toad is considered like any other decorative figurine (full stop) 2. In symbolism, it is always good that figurines kept in a home, especially those that have an opened mouth, should have something in it's mouth. 3. The best thing you can do is to use any ordinary coin and stick it or (use blue tag or double sticking table). 4. Usually if it is a dragon figurine, a "fake" pearl in it's mouth would be an excellent choice. For this three-legged toad mouth, go for Para 3. Para 4, as a last resort.
  14. 1. In fact, as far back as 13 years ago, there was this "argument" with regards to Northern or Southern hemisphere. 2. The concensus amongst MAJORITY or ALL Traditional Masters is that there is no change. Everything should NOT be mirrored. 3. Majority of the feedback was:- 3.1 Many of the concepts use the lowest common denominator: The Five Elements concept. 3.2 Even in the Southern Hemisphere, North is North, South is South (unless one is exactly at zero degrees at North or South pole). Who lives at the North or South pole! 3.3 Thus just because the demonstration that when we empty the wash basin, the water "tornado" flow is a reverse or different in the north or south. 4. Thus, if one mirrors the concept to suit South is not a common practise by many Feng Shui masters.
  15. 1. If it is meant for a sole proprietor than one can zoom in: specific logo based onyour personal ba zi. 2. For private limited or public companies then, the company logo is usually based on the industry that it is in. 3. For your case there is a difference between being a "weak fire" person or a "strong fire" person. 3.1. If you are a weak fire person, then wood (green or brown) supports fire element. And black being the colour of water will drown a weak fire person. 3.2 Thus, there is also a vast difference if one is a strong fire person. Then 3.1 does not apply.
  16. 1. Frankly, applying Numerology is a catch-22 situation. 2. There are so many various methods of Numerology and also some combined it with "phonetic" sound like... "4" Cantonese regard as death etc... 3. There are Chinese methods, Indian methods, and many other cultures also have their methods. 4. Thus, would you want to hear "50-50" of the time, some one telling you this number is BAD! Then later, hear from another it is good! 5. Under the holy trinity of (Chinese) luck:- 5.1 Heaven luck - what one is considered to be born with 5.2 Earth luck - the influence from staying in a home or working in an office. 5.3 Human luck - relationships, family bonding. Thus, the Chinese holy trinity of luck encompass the above three Para 5.1 to 5.3. Where does the numbers on the door of your house fit in? Nil!
  17. 1. As the water star in this sector is strong metal (6w), too much metal will create an imbalance, here. The 6w in the East sector is sufficent to counter 2m and eventhe annual #7. 2. Adding metal "cure" to this sector can only future reduce the water star of the sector. 3. From many of your past questions; although it is Nice-to-consider fixed or non-time dimensions e.g. East = Wood, North = Water. Without time dimension, it is perfectly ok to generalise this information. 4. However, when analysing using Flying Star Feng Shui, the more accurate or proper method is like the last posting where the user posted the full 20 year flying star. And he also considers say the annual star and even the monthly stars. 5. Thus, with full knowlege of the 20 year plus annual (and even monthly stars)... then we can say with the information, we can make a "timely decision. 6. In your case, sayEast sector has 2m, 6w and 4b . But the timely annual star is also a wood star: #3 then although #3 is a wood element, it is untimely as it is a bad wood element. Under Period 8, say if the annual star is #4, this is not that bad (as it is also a wood element). 7. Thus, since the common denominator is the Flying Star Feng Shui whether it is the 20 Year, annual, monthly etc... one should use all these knowlege to fine tune the decision to place something. Rather than to use the 20 year flying star numbers and later "jump" into adding the "influence" of that sector's element such as North = water. Here, for example, if the sector is considered as earth element. It may go both ways: can be #8 good earth for now or #5 or #2 bad earth. Similarly, when one says East = wood, and if really wood flies in it can be bad (rotten) wood #3 or not so bad #4 wood. Therefore best to digest what I had mentioned above. Quote: Katrina L. wrote: Hello Master Lee. How do I minimize the effect of #7 annual flying star in the East for 2009? We know it's a metal star but I have already placed metal objects in this East sector because my house's natal chart has #2m. Will having metal objects in this sector further enhance #7? Will the fact that the East sector represents the wood element diminish the effect of #7? Our East sector has 2m, 6w and 4b as the natal flying stars chart.
  18. Source and Credit:- http://www.sunherb.com/geopathic_stress.htm Geopathic Stress - The Hidden Cause of Disease By Terri L. Saunders This is a short extract : More details found in the above link. Showing correlation of health issues with water veins or underground water:- "Several studies linking underground radiations to disease have been done in Europe dating as far back as the 1800?s when dowsers found geopathic energies linked to livestock illness, infertility, aggressive behavior and low milk production. In the 1920?s in Germany two researchers, Winzer and Melzer, discovered that areas of Stuttgart that were located above five major geological fault lines had the highest rates of cancer mortality. In 1929, the German aristocrat Gustav Freherr von Pohl began the first systematic study of human cancer and its link to noxious telluric (earth) radiation under the watchful eye of government officials. He dowsed the entire Bavarian community of Vilsbiburg with 8,500 inhabitants. He plotted on a map what he felt were the areas where cancer would most likely occur based on his findings. This was compared to a map made by the town?s medical examiner noting the locations where cancer patients lived, finding them to be in exact correlation. Houses in geopathic zones often don?t sell and a string of homes in the same neighborhood may be for sale at the same time. People move out of these homes because they don?t feel well and can?t seem to settle there. Frequent accidents will also occur in geopathic zones." 19. This link briefly shows the study done in Germany with regards to "dangers" of underground (moving [water]):- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm
  20. 1. For the Germans, there was a study previously done, where there was a high correlation of cancer, when it was plotted of beds, above sewerage pipes. Those who had their beds directly above a sewerage pipe has a higher incidence of cancer. 2. In China, this is even older. To tame the vicious flow of underground water, the Chinese usually build a pagoda. And it is well known that those living aboveunderground water ... are equally faced with bad health. 3. From what you had written, frankly we are not too sure how well "insulated" the septic tank is. What Feng Shui is concerned with is "invisible" vapours. And as the study under Para 1, even though the sewerage is "sealed" in a pipe, somehow, there is a higher probability of cancer for those sleeping above the sewerage lines. 4. Frankly it is rare indeed to hear of such an arrangement for the home. Let's hope for the best. As this is something we don't find too often! Quote: Pete L. wrote: a friend of mine recently bought a small house in their province in Bacolod. they have spent quite a lot in refurbishing the house only to find out that one of the rooms is on top of the septic tank. the seller of the house did not tell them about this prior to them buying the house. is this okay? or is this bad feng shui? if it is bad, can they do something about it?
  21. 1. The concept, is similar to "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". 2. In addition, imagine that we have or had already invited a "deity" into say our home. And if we are not changing to a new home, it would be "impolite" to shift the god or worse, have anyone seen an altar on wheels? 3. Once we have settled the altar, (the first time we moved-in), best not to "unseat" or worse "distrub" them. 4. Thus the most powerful important thing is "unless we have a good reason" don't distrub your exisiting god or "deity". Unless in the first place, they were wrongly placed or posited. Such as placing the altar facing a toilet or sharing a toilet wall etc....
  22. 1. The fixed template Ba Gua method is a modern invention. In the earlyyears aroundearly 1990's, this method is popularly known as the"Black Hat Sect" or "Black Hat Tibetian Sect"(whatever). Today, many know it as the "fixed template"(FS) 2. Check out "The Confessions of Lin Yun" in Kate Bramble's website:- http://www.qi-whiz.com/node/35 Quote: "BLACK SECT MASTER LIN YUN BREAKS HIS OWN HALO BY SAYING, ?YOU?RE BETTER OFF BELIEVING YOURSELF INSTEAD OF BELIEVING ME.?
  23. 1. This is not Feng Shui. But typically, in Singapore, no harm to have a "flower" bath. (Especially if one is either a free thinker or buddhist or toaist)/ 2. Buy a bunch of assorted flowers from the neighbourhood flourist or from the market flourist. And a few lime. And follow the routine to flower bath after one bathe. 3. Remove and discard the flowers .. from the floor. And try not to enter the toilet for at least the next 2 hours.
  24. 1. Usually weak metal(s) #7 can be neutralised by water element. 2. Do take note that if that sector has a #3 (bad wood) in combination with #7 then, it would not be adviceable to use water in that sector. As water will further fuels bad wood #3. (#3 is quarrels, conflicts, scandals, lawsuits) 3. Thus usually if the sector has the #3, water would be worse. This may explain why someone may try to use earth, perhaps, that person felt it is better to disarm bad wood with earth.
  25. 1. In my opinion, the biggest mistake of many is that often, missing corners are never over looked while it is often that protrusions are always missed. 2. Thus just try to check to see or confirm the above. 3. Since missing corners may be interpreted differently depending where the missing corner, is. 4. For example. major missing corner at NW may impact on two issues: luck from heaven 2. luck of the breadwinner. 5. Usually if the missing corner makes up to 33.3 percent of the total area, it should be considered as minor missing corner. Thus no further action is needed.
