  1. A conservative geomancer would often quote from old texts that one MUST stand-inside the main door looking outwards to take a compass reading to find the FRONTAGE of a house. However, during that time, this is relevant. But nowadays, many homes are high-rise = apartments. And majority of geomancers have considered perhaps, the frontage of? these apartments could instead be standing inside the living room looking out of the balcony / windows. Or the direction of the apartment where there are the most openings or windows. Many geomancers still feel that it is fair (most) of the time + normally the main door may be the frontage. Unless there are some breath-taking views at the back of the landed compound or it's sides. This is in-line with the idea of the frontage in the first place.
  2. Question: Master, is such a bed acceptable for use from Fengshui perspective? Btw, I do like the design. Where is this shop located? Many thanks. In my opinion, this comes under Symbolism. This is where the saying "One man's meat is another man's poison" comes into play. Another viewpoint is the impact of immediate family and friends. For instance, some of us host guests in our homes. What if three out of four of them dislike this design? Consider if a relative were to comment, "Why are you using a bed-head design that resembles a coffin?" Responses can vary; some individuals may dismiss the remarks, while others may feel anxious. In fact, one of my clients shared this photo with me, expressing concern about its acceptability in Feng Shui. (I am unsure of the shop's location, as I merely intended to showcase this unconventional design.) Many elements of Feng Shui relate to either common sense or, as previously mentioned, to symbolic significance.
  3. 1. If one has the time, one should understand this time-tested approach. And it originated from the medical field:- Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. 2. Many other disciplines also have to apply this. 3. In a recent posting; one can see two worked Feng Shui charts. And often "no pain - no gain". 3.1. Often, a chart takes as much as4 hours to prepare, evaluate and provide recommendations. Be it a DIYer or a professional studying and working out the colour details. http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=35094&new= 4. The other wayis via another time testedby instincts: if one wants to dispense with the above then go with one's feel. Similar to Luke of starwars where his master asks him to use his instincts and feel.
  4. I recently excavated a trench and discovered a coffin within it! My commanding officer instructed me to take a flower bath. What does this mean?
  5. Symbolism in Feng Shui: How do we interpret an item? Do you what Devil's bed would look like? If it could just be delivered to his address?
  6. Question: Can you advise what is covered under the naming service and how many names will be given for selection? 1. Thank you so much for your interest in our service. I’ll be personally assisting you with this part, as this is the area I specialise in. 2. Usually, I’ll shortlist the best available names from several top name stroke groups (typically within the 80%–100% name stroke range). 2.1 Depending on the number of strokes in each group, some groups may offer more options (around 5–10 names), while others may have fewer (about 1–5). Overall, there should still be plenty of names for you to choose from. 3. The names I usually recommend are chosen for their meaningful characters, so they sound pleasant and, where possible, carry a good meaning. If you don’t find a name you love from these groups, I’ll also provide a character reference list. You can then mix and match other names you like from that list, and I’ll help you check if they are suitable. 4. This way, you’ll have as many options as possible to find the most suitable name, helping you choose the best and most fitting name for your child. 5. In addition, if you have special requirements, such as following a family ancestral naming tradition, I can also work within those rules—for example, fixing the middle character to a specific one. 6. If this is your 2nd or 3rd child and you’d like to keep a certain middle or last character the same for all siblings, I will also select names to match that preference. 7. Even if you already have some favourite names in mind, I can help you check them and see how they compare with the best options from the ideal name stroke groups. 8. So please don’t worry—the process is quite comprehensive, and there is usually plenty of back-and-forth communication between my clients and me. After I prepare the initial report, most clients take some time to review it and narrow down a list of preferred names. Once you have your shortlist, I will then summarise those names in detail and provide a percentage breakdown of how well each name matches the ba zi. This makes it much easier for you to see which name is the most suitable. Hope that helps. 7. Client could not sell their home for the last 2 years. And recently sought a Feng Shui audit. Glad to receive this WhatsApp message from Mr Tan. "Hi Cecil, we have sold our house already and thanks for your advice. Now we are looking to buy a condo. Mr Tan"

  10. In case some wants to under further on the Holy Trinity of Chinese Luck System; I did a search with the top-left frame of this forum. And a link is as follows:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=29&mid=32843&new== If one has the time or wants to look through the previous threads; then appreciate if you could type in " Holy Trinity of Luck " and you should be able to get more "hits".
  11. My sincere apologies for such a late reply and verifying your posting. This is because we are very busy. Thanks for your compliments. The resources within this forum is as old as 1996. In my opinion, drawing (thanks also for the layout plan); I agree fully that the bed-head position is the best for this master bedroom layout plan. And you have also avoided the bed facing the toilet door. This bed-head position based on Shapes and Forms has the highest weightage. I am now attaching the illustration showing who should preferably be sleeping where; based on this understanding:- Master Bedroom: Which side must I sleep on In your case, since your hubby is an East group person; he should be sleeping closer to the East compass cardinal point. Here, he is like your knight in shining armour shielding you at East. While you should sleep closer to the NE compass sector closer to the windows. Bear in mind that Feng Shui accounts for 33.3 percent of the earth luck. Thus, the other two luck systems are: Heaven or born with. The other is Human or man luck. There were instances where e.g. the husband is so used to sleeping closer to the window side; and this is his feel good factor no matter how much an outsider says. Thus, the sleeping positing is considered "nice-to" and not a "must-do". Therefore in the event that if you or your husband have already a preference; then no issue, go for it. Many a times; HUMAN LUCK or feel good or feed bad kind of thing; then go with this first then whatever theories say it is the better choice. All the best!
  12. Shoe cabinet handles serves two purposes: as the handles to open the shoe cabinet doors and also act as air-vents Ikea has a similar concept. With door handle-openings..
  13. FLYING STAR FENG SHUI OF STACK #12 These are some considerations: 1. As mentioned in Part 2, the current prosperity wealth stars from now until 2023 fall in the NE, where there is an auspicious mountain #1 star paired with water star #6. 2. Fortunately for Stack 12, there is a void and openings such as windows facing North (Bedroom 2), allowing some luck to enter if the windows on this side are opened regularly. 3. However, the most auspicious set of stars, the #8s in the North compass sector, is wasted between the kitchen and Bath 2 walls. Another auspicious star at the East is also blocked by a solid wall, preventing good qi from entering the unit. 4. In addition, note the bright red circle at the SE, marking #5 and #2. These form one of the worst pairings in Flying Star Feng Shui: #5 = misfortune/sickness and #2 = sickness. 5. Assuming one can avoid the issues mentioned in point 4, after 2024 the period will be governed by the #9 stars. A small consolation is that the mountain #9 star will then be located at the South-facing balcony. However, avoid placing water features there during that time. It is unfortunate that the #9 star at the SW—being the water star—is not present instead. 6. SHAPES AND FORMS FENG SHUI OF STACK #12 6.1. The biggest consolation is that the unit receives partial morning sun. Morning sun is far less harsh than afternoon sun, so the unit will remain cooler in the evening compared to stacks facing MacPherson Road. 6.2. This side generally enjoys clear space and unobstructed views. 6.3. Another benefit is the absence of road traffic noise. In conclusion: Both Flying Stars and Shapes and Forms should be considered together.
  14. FLYING STAR FENG SHUI ANALYSIS Stack #10: 1. Under Part 2: Please see a sample illustration of a Flying Star Feng Shui chart for stack #10. 2. Stack #10 faces Flying Star N1. 3. The characteristics of a Period 8 N1 chart is that the very auspicious double combinations of #8's are at it's facing direction. 4. Thus if one looks closely at the attached chart; at North bedroom 2 has this auspicious combinations of #8 + #8. 5. This is predominantly the facing direction. 5.1. Under Flying Stars, if this direction is the frontage such as the?bedroom 2 windows / balcony side. This is a fantastic combination of numbers. 5.2. However, a Period N1 suffers from having?good flying star combination numbers at this frontage. And for this stack at two more areas : NE Living Room and East (Kitchen Dining area) 5.3. Otherwise, take a look at e.g. NW Master Bedroom where there is a combination of #4 + #3 stars. Here, young women will lose their temper etc... 5.4. It is so lucky that the nasty combinations of #2 + #5 falls in the missing corner or void area. Later in the Part 3: one can see that this set of nasty stars happens to fall into the Stack 12's master bedroom!? SHAPES AND FORMS ANALYSIS Stack 10: 6. Another set of considerations are: 6.1. If one looks carefully, facing Machperson Road has it's drawbacks:- 6.1.1. Low floors will have white pollution in the form of road noise from traffic flow, below the unit(s). 6.1.2. Higher floors should be quieter. 6.2.3. In this example; one will notice that the afternoon is at a slanted angle and will come into the master bedroom. In fact every six months; this angle will change for the better or worse.. (slightly). IN GENERAL: One should take these two information in consideration of the overall Feng Shui of similar stacks facing Machperson Road. Frankly, both side the N1 or S1 facing side have it's distinctiveness. For example S1 is facing a stretch that is quiet. But stacks like #12 can see the "back-side" of the nearby HDB blocks. For example, where laundry are often hung. And if one intends to stay after 2024 onwards; the two #9's stars are then wasted at the rear of the unit. Where during that period SW #9 representing that period's networking and relationship luck would be wasted at the?back. And South #9 water wealth is gutted at the bath 2.?From 2024 to 2043, the fate has changed under Flying Stars and during that period; S1?is considered to have better qi as often these stars?are located at e.g. stack 12's balcony or bedroom areas.?
  15. Question posted on Geomany.net's facebook page:- How is the fengshui for Sky Green? https://www.facebook.com/geomancy.net/posts/932361220187345?comment_id=1001762653247201&notif_t=feed_comment&notif_id=1464141732523843 1. In general, most stacks in this development either face Flying Star N1 or S1. (See attachment.
  16. Another past forum message on the similar subject of cremation / urns /ashes:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=26696&new=
  17. This are some considerations: 1. In my opinion, just a year ago; I had an audit near-by the temple. 2. So far, at that time; I found this temple to be clean. 3. Actually, there is a difference being buried and cremated. 3.1. For example, once a body is cremated: "Ashes to ashes" this is neutral. 3.2. This is why, unlike a burial site; urns can be stacked one on-top of each other and "packed" side by side. 4. I remembered clearly when I did my reservist training in the late 1980's; 4.1. Then I was a brigade reservist chief clerk with 2nd Peoples Defence Force. (By the way, then I had to serve 2 1/2 years of National Service. Mycamp was atthe former Beach Road Camp next to the NCO club.) 4.2. One of my battalion was doing a simulated exercise at Yishun. This battalionliterally dug in indefence of ourisland.By the way, that area then was once a Teochew burial site. 4.3. I arranged for the police to investigate. As we did not know whether the body was a recent body or one that was buried many years back. 5. Coming back to the point: majority of CHINESE cemeteries are suppose to the one of the best Feng Shui. 6. Thus, one clear example was the cemetery at Orchard (previously CK Tang was facing this site). Now the site is the Orchard MRT. 7. Another is Bishan Park. Which was one a cemetery. 8. In the past, especially the 1960's; the rich could buy a plot and bury their dead in a detailed and expensive plot. 9. For example, my grand father's plot is one of them. 10. As we visited his grave, year after year; we suddenly noticed a "lump" of soil to the left and right and many places. 11. We then realised; that the care-takers were offered money and they allow the poorer people to bury their dead at "unmarked" graves. One can understand that during our early years; it was un-heard of to cremate a body. Thus, I was born in a well to do family thus... correct me if I am wrong; have never seen a cremation near me. 12. As ours are documented; and if there was an order to exhume; they have a record for it. 13. Thus, I suspect the one at Yishun was an unmarked grave. 14. In one of the past forum posting, many years ago in this forum; I had photo of another grave / with body discovered in another HDB block... when they were digging to add a new lift to that block. 15. Thus, if a cemetery is 100% digged out; and if something is built over it; this is still an auspicious land and very much so. 16. But, if bones or skeletons are not 100% dig-out totally; it can affect the Feng Shui of those staying e.g. at that specific block /stack or unit. 17. Therefore, don't worry: Once cremated; this is neutral. Similar to throwing / sprinkling the ashes into the sea. Again so true "Ashes to Ashes". 18. Another interesting thing to note that such YIN"entities" are also like us; they TEND to prefer lower floors especially 1st choice: GROUND floor or 2nd most common is 2nd storey. 18. Perhaps, they also need some effort to go up to say 15th storey. I suspect they don't have a lift to bring them up so high.
  18. Further to what I had mentioned; these are some old links:- http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-grandpa1.php http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-grandpa3.php One of the links shows my grand-father's grave. He had to die because he literally "chopped" of the head of his bungalow house to construct a huge extension. My next door neighbour also did the same after they saw how grand our home was.... but...
  19. Good News! There is no such thing as a Perfect home. Even if we do built one it is considered to be close to perfect.. But having great Shapes and Forms is the major key success factor: Location, location & location!
  20. This cess pool; sorry I mean the swimming pool @ The Topiary reminds me of the turtle pond @ East Coast Parkway.. Don't worry, at night it is suppose to be lighted up blue.. But wait... I don't swim at night... How ah?
  21. Shoe cabinet cum display / utility area Many Interior Designs factor in the illusion of spaciousness. Thus, especially for a narrow corridor; there is often a centre opening such as shown in the example.
  22. Thanks for your question. 1. Feng Shui is based on TWO (2) schools: 1.1. The Compass School 1.2. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 2. Under the Compass School of Feng Shui: one tool is the Flying Star Feng Shui. 2.1. Thus, my first set of comments are based on this Compass School Feng Shui. Where under this Flying Stars analysis; the best units are South facing. 3. My second opinion is based partially on Shapes and Forms / Yin and Yang concept + Human luck concepts. 3.1. Generally, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui it is ideally best not to be staying in a home that can view the temple. 3.2. As GEM is considered as under-construction stage; one cannot simply walk in. And a temple has it's roof-line 3.3. Some temples are "clean"; some can be "dirty". 3.4. In addition, human luck is about beliefs and concerns. Thus, often, sometimes just one or two relatives uttering words like "it is bad luck to see a temple" from one's home. Then how? 3.5. It is not like, one can carry the home and turn it towards another direction. 4. And eventually when one wants to sell a unit; if one can think of Para 3.4; there are lots more concern by other potential or not potential buyers. 5. The most recent case is/was the T.O.P. of Thomson Grand. 5.1 I got so many on-site calls to advice on whether to buy or not to buy certain units there that are facing or full view of the temple there. 5.2 In addition; some who bought a unit there asked me to Feng Shui the place. 5.3. Fortunately, the temple there is "clean". 5.4. Else part of the occupational hazard in my line is having my Chinese Luopan going crazy and having to throw them away. 5.5. For example, many years ago; I got a call from a owner at a unit in Block 3 Haig Road. 5.6. A little history of this unit: During that time; the government joined two three room units to make it bigger. Much like some flats of the same period at Commonwealth. 5.7. After this"operation of joining the two units as one by HDB; the flat was left empty for nearly a year; 5.8. So happens, an old man died at a wake at another block close-by. 5.9. When I visited the owner; I could see that his eyes had that ring of bad aura. 6. I walked around the home with my luopan. And at the kitchen, I asked this "old man" what is he doing here. 6.1. The old man said, that this is his house. And the living beings are intruding into his home. 6.2. I asked the owner. And he said that his two sons had on many occasions being "strangled" . 6.3. Here, part of the problem lies with this new owner. He saw two beautiful Qi Lin and a Guan Yin left behind by the previous owners. 6.4. He did not have the heart to throw them away and instead created a "housing" to house it/them. 7. Chinese ghost busters : Your choice: 7.1. A local priest may negotiate with a temple to bring this old man there or 7.2 2nd choice : get a Thai priest to destroy the old man's soul forever. 8. Sorry for the long story. Thus If Para 7.1. is done; some temple may be "dirty". 9. And for us Chinese there is a NE (devil's gate) front door and a devil's back door. A similar situation also for the Indians. 10. Under Indian Vastu principles (their equivalent) of Feng Shui; especially if a temple is aligned NE to SW; this can be pretty bad luck for the residents staying at lower units. 11. Here, around 8 years ago; there is a certain temple aligned in this method; and unfortunately, a family's flat is along this "highway". They had the worst years of their life when they stayed in that home. But after I done the "correction" it was ok. 12. Some temples are also "dirty" as they also have some priests that dwell not in "white magic" but "black magic" such as rearing of "baby ghosts" etc.. 13. Under Human Luck; and marketing reasons; when one wants to sell a unit facing a temple; there will always be those that are fearful of buying one. 13.1 There are lots of reasons, fear etc.. Some even say that a temple is a depository of sadness. I have even mentioned that some temples are a depository of "dirty" things. Not to scare you or anything like that, please. I am trying to answer as frankly as possible.
  23. These are some considerations:- 1. As most know; China is one of the 4 oldest civilizations in world. With a history of at least 5,000 years. 2. Figurines like the Liuli are actually originally collectables. Imagine; in the past, the rich or well to do collect Chinese items which some become antiques. 3. No offence; thus the Liuli is akin to someone today with a hobby of collecting "star wars" figurines or transformer toys. 4. This is the rationale why there are no authority or guide to hand down certain guidelines. 5. For example: an altar:- 5.1. An altar has to fit precisely the Feng Shui ruler measurements. Here, the Feng Shui ruler has both a upper and lower measure. The upper measure refers to Yang or the living. While the lower measure must apply to Yin or dead. A god should be placed on a cabinet that has both these. 5.2. One must not pray to even number of gods. Thus, in a home, one can only pray to 1, 3, 5 etc.. gods. There are more and more rulesets. 6. Another good example is the "Three Legged toad". 6.1. This is a modern commercial product sold in the name of god knows to line the pocket of the seller. 6.2. The gullible then buys one. And if one checks past message in this forum; one can see queries of: 6.2.1 I read that the three legged toad should be facing the main door. Some say should face inwards and more and more such conflicting advice. 6.2.2 Actually, placement of such commercial products even the Liuli is frankly a "FREE FOR ALL". Go ask advice from many sites or people; people will say whatever they feel like saying. 7. It is common to have a shoe cabinet beside the main door. Just inside the main door and/or outside. 7.1 Even people living inlanded properties does this.
  24. Reference resource of the five elements and it's relation to body parts/function. Please click the attached, link.
  25. Dear Tori, Apologies for the late reply. And thus I did not verify approve your post. As I was very busy this period. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos of yourself! You looked so pretty and lovely! Today, I have the opportunity to examine your ba zi report. For ease of reference, I have extracted the relevant information and placed it in an easy to read one attachment. These are some of my observations: 1. When you were first born: Your breakdown of the five elements looks like this:- Balance of Elements in your Chart Based on the Favourable and unfavourable Elements. Ideally, a perfect harmony would be when you have 20% of each element to be in complete harmony. This shows you exactly how much of each element you have. It helps you determine which element listed in your favourable element you need more then another. (!-- -- (!-- 2 Water Strong 21 % Balance Enough-- (!-- 2 Wood Extremely Weak 5 % Increase Element Have A LOT more of your Favourable Wealth Element -- (!-- 3 Fire Weakest 16 % Balance Enough-- (!-- 2 Earth Weak 16 % Balance Enough-- > 3 Metal Strongest 40 % Reduce Element If you notice below; unfortunately, you have too much imbalance in the water element: 62%. Which would explain for the swollen issue you are facing. Under the Five elements concept; I have attached a reference resource showing the significance of an element with certain body organs or multiple related organs/area. Changes in your Five Element Balance for 53 - 62 (2010 - 2019) Water Wood Fire Earth Metal 62 % 2 % 7 % 7 % 19 % The high imbalance of water element extends up to age 72 years old. Changes in your Five Element Balance for 63 - 72 (2020 - 2029) Water Wood Fire Earth Metal 62 % 2 % 7 % 7 % 19 % By age 73, the water imbalance has subsided. And the highest element during this period is Fire (heart and brain). Changes in your Five Element Balance for 73 - 82 (2030 - 2039) Water Wood Fire Earth Metal 10 % 28 % 32 % 8 % 20 % All of us will be praying for your recovery! Once again,a pretty and strong lady! Take care! dear master, this is a long shot but ive been fascinated with FS for many years and I just noticed whilst viewing your forum that it may help me decipher my health problem which has not been diagnosed after 1 year, but having said that I've only been to my doctor twice due to fiscal problems.I was born (western calendar) on the 1st of October 1957 at 11.25pm in Valletta malta. My legs, arms, hands feet, stomach and face are grossly (to me) swollen and I cannot walk. I suffer from a body rash. The only medication I take is methadone (for many many years). I have a healthy appetite and I sleep a lot. I hope you can helpmuch obligedtorixx(Victoria mangion currently residing in London England xx)
