Please don't look at the photos especially if you are about to eat something or have eaten your fill.... Using broken glass to line or protect the walls of homes were very common in the past. Let's say it was acceptable in the 1960's. In the past, the glass shards were relatively shallow and smaller. But wow! The glass shards here are certainly meant to "murder" someone! Very scary stuff!

Your case is not uncommon. And yes, correct, there is a vast difference between being a STRONG WOOD vs being a weak wood person. But, life is life. And it is a pity that today, although BAZI sounds generic, most likely when you visit those sites, you will get your ba zi all messed up. If you have the time, you might want to go thru the following links:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=31360&new=

These are further considerations:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=29725&new=), 1. By coincidence from now to 2023, based on Flying Star Feng Shui you are lucky that South is ranked 2nd only to SW and NE. And North ranks much lower. 2. From the above article, do take note that SW and NE not mentioned by you has the best Feng Shui. 3. Facing an open space where a bird can fly freely is also considered VIRTUAL water. 3.1 And not necessarily do or die must face the sea. Think about it. 4. In addition, you are also missing another factor: How suitable is the apartment to you? 5. In my opinion, if you happen to be an East group person, then South is or can be a good choice vs North. As again by coincidence, from now to 2023, South is better facing than North. 6. For the estate, some stacks of Block 80C faces Northand the Kong Hock Keng Temple. Often, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, if possible, avoid.

These are some resources: http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/forum-archive/4770.htm http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=24390&new=%3EHouse%20Hunting%20:%20A%20Lot%20Position%20-%20%3Cem%3EFeng%20Shui%3C/em Usually, if an underground water source is below a house, this is considered bad "vapours". Hopefully the cellar is dry and not damp. The above may not be exactly what you are facing, now. You can monitor the damness using a hydrometer for moisture. Too much moisture is a growth culture for bacteria etc....

These are some considerations: 1. In this home, NEVER, (NEVER) play with the Ouija board that summons spirits. Some call this a Wiggy Board "game" or a "talking-to spirit" board. 2. What happens is that when one plays with this board; it is opening a portal. 2.1. And in many instances, because of the past incident, this house is more "yin". And often, one may unintentally invite visitors. 2.2. We are not so scared of the "low ranking" visitors e.g. those that have yet to cross through "the LIGHT". 2.3. What is most fearful is that often such portals can inadvertently sent is a High Ranking (General) or Devil's right hand person i.e. the Dark force. 3. Once this occurs, even if assuming your grandma has not gone thru "the light" She and others epecially the timid (spirits) would be under this Dark force control. 4. What is worse is that some make the silly mistake of playing with the Oujia board, got scared and burn or throw it away! Once one does this, the portal will be fully opened. 5. Generally, hopefully your grandma has passed through "the light". 5.1. In my opinion, on her own, she will never do harm to her loved ones. Unless Para 2.3 occurs. 5.2. If her old furniture is around especially a cupboard or a cupboard with mirror or an antique vase or some other item especially in the house or attic, this is often the place where an entity might reside. 5.3. If the home is made of plastered wall especially in America, some spirits do harbour inside these walls. And often, if a major renovation is done such as tearing away the "spirits" santuary, a sudden haunting migh occur. 5.4.In Feng Shui, or rather Flying Star Feng Shui, we look for clusters of YIN stars in a sector to determine the most likelyhood of a portal. Some consider NE and SW as locations to be aware of. Well for now, I can think up to, here....

Yeah.....Keep a good frame of mind- Was just thinking, for those born on a Monday will get Monday blues.....haha haha

In my opinion, most likely that astrologer is pulling a fast one on poor you! (No offense, my toes are laughing loudly); I hope the same astrologer applies the same kindergarten logic and say that those born on Sunday, don't need to work! Next time if you get to see this same astrologer; Tell that person, my company or rather many companies don't work on SATURDAYS! think about it....... Erh.... Can any one tell me how to stop my toes, laughing (still) hahahahahaha hahahahahaha hahahahahaha What a "sick" joke

Auspicious/inauspicious dates are based on the lowest common denominator = the Five Elements. One's ba zi e.g. Element and strength also based on the Five Elements. Thus, one can apply one's favourable color(s) on that day.
-
1. Yes, it is simply common sense that you should use your ACTUAL birth date. 1.1. In fact, in many countries, and in rural areas, often a birth gets reported several days later or even weeks later. 1.2. In Singapore, there are lots of cases where, a birth was reported many days and weeks later. Thus, it is always prudent to use one's actual birth date. This refers to the 2nd part of your question: Master Bedroom: Which side must I sleep on

These are some considerations: 1. The famous saying Rome is not built in a day. 1.1 Neither can an ANSWER can be immediately given to someone who says "Any remedy for this?" 2.Please note that there are so many concepts and principles. Furthermore, the following are cruicial: STEP 1: Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. OTHERS: Fix-the-Leak, First! Easily three or more major problems. The Concept of Maximizing Marks Hopefully from a FAIL to a PASS or better! The Customer Engineer Concept If you D.I.Y. make sure you read this!
-
1. Often, many Feng Shui concepts have it's origin from pure common sense. 2. From a Feng Shui point of view, take the attached example. 2.1. In some homes for convenience the contractor may run a water pipe close-to or the stove perhaps to install a water pipe to a Fridge that can dispense cold water. 2.2. When we use a stove, often the surrounding space close to some stove may heat up. And what is worse if we run a water pipe e.g. six inches across the stove? 2.3 As most water pipes are made of copper, copper conducts heat easily and the result is that water passing thru would get heated up. 3. In Feng Shui, this is explained as the stove belongs to the fire element. And the water-pipe since it contains water (implies that water is close to the stove) = considered inauspicious.
-
1. In my opinion, your question has more to do with common sense than Feng Shui. 2. The concern has more to do with hygiene such as unseen vapours. Anything relating to the "dirty" such as sewerage, septic etc... is considered dirty liquid. 3. Thus of course, if there is a choice, one should not even place be such things within living quarters. 4. Between the devil (the stove) and the deep blue sea (the sink); if one has to really choose where to place the septic tank, then it would have to be furthest away from the STOVE. 4.1 Thus if one really (I mean) really have to choose; then go with the sink area. 5. What happens ifone applys Flying Star Feng Shui? 5.1 A geomancer would always (if possible) ask not to place e.g. the septic tank at an auspicious sector. 5.2 Again, one has to be practical; with a limited space 30sqm.. no choice..... rather go with the sink than the stove. Why? 5.3 From a Feng Shui point of view; the stove represents the fire element and septic belongs to the water element. Fire and Water clash. As compared to the sink (WITH) water. 1. We can draw a parallel with the "Yellow ribbon". 2. Let's hope that person changes for good. A glimmer of hope? If not, what the HECK! Sent that person to JAPAN! or NIPPON LAND! A land of few curses and lots of bowing.... 3. I assure you, if the person you mentioned goes to Nippon, he/she will be cured! 4. Some consider the Yellow Ribbon a project as they believe that out of all the hardcore; some might change for the better

1. Please note that Ba Zi has several escape clauses such as philantropy; one's education and surroundings. 2. For example, two persons: A and Bwere born on the same day and same time and both have what you mentioned. 2.1 For example : Person A was born in JAPAN. and Person B was born in a bad part of USA. 2.2 I would believe if person A is living in Japan and surrounding people around him/her often if never curse and swear. 2.3 But the Person B who has a rougher life may perhapsbe will forever be fighting and cursing. 3. Thus family, friends, neighbours can be a great influence, here. 4. Therefore, Ba Zi is only a snap-shot of what one is born with. But the environment that one is/was brought up and surroundings would be important. 5. For example, Person B gets into trouble and placed in certain jails. Some jails are rough neighbourhood(s). 6. Therefore, I personal believe what you mentioned cannot be a slam-dunk situation. 7. However, psychologically: some get into trouble based on "auto-suggestion and self-fulfiling prophecy. 7.1. For example, a joker reads and keeps reminding himself that his bazi "JUSTIFIES" him to be forever fighting and cursing. Well you know the story, here....

1. In my opinion, this is modern times and not some medieval times. 2. Nowadays or even in the past, few people if any decide totravel based on the decision of whetherit is a good or inauspicious day to do so. 3. If we do so, there is very little leeway and our life is like at the mercy of or even considered as enslaven. 4. Mathematically speaking: 4.1.It is much safer to be travelling on a plane than say on the road. As the miles per incident is few on an airplane. 4.2. Again,if there are 100 or more person's travelling on the same flight; in theory, 50 percent would be travelling on their auspicious dayswhile 50 percent would be travelling likewhat you are concerned with. 5. If you applythe Five Elements concept, then, one of the principles is enhance with your "best" colours. Travel, safe!

What I suggested is something like under the attachment: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=13835&new=?pagewanted=all

1. For those into the "Flying star thing"; if there are good star numbers at the frontage in particular: #8 or even double #8's = slam shut the entire door when at home can be a double edged sword. 2. Unless the stars congregating at the frontage are bad ones like MS or WS #3, #2 or #5 individually or in combination of each other. 3. If good stars are at the frontage, may consider leaving the main entrance door slightly ajar e.g. 5 to 10 degrees opened. 4. There are other passive solutions; often best to work in conjunction with the flying stars at that sector. But if the stars are not looked at; then you may consider a semi-circular mat radiating outwards outside of your main entrance. The most yang colour is red. (try and error use red or again if you know the star numbers at the frontage; then harmonise it with the flying stars of that sector). 5. Other hard-coded solutions include a semi-circular tile that radiates out of the main door (but if HDB, may be deemed illegal as it protudes the main entrance into HDB's property. Another solution is again hard coded as shown in the attachment.

These are some considerations: 1. We cannot assume your neighbour's intentions. As often, some thought that any ba gua mirror is good for their home. 2. Or even some were mis-informed and thus place a ba gua mirror. Most likely they have thought that it is good to deflect sha qi or whateever or to scare away bad spirits. These are the two main reasons. 3. For those who are in the above category, unfortunately are just as bad as those that wants to suck wealth. 4. Unfortunately, usually, traditionally, what your neighbour does do invite ba gua wars: one side place a concave the other places a convex one. Thus this is again by tradition the way things were are even done today. 5. I don't think your home has any threats if any e.g. an altar or gods or deities facing your main door leading to this senario. (To threaten the neighbour or they did it just that they want to). 6. If one does open your main door often; then you may have to consider placing a partition at the main entrance area. Or close your main door when not in use. 7. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck: Heaven, Earth (Feng Shui) and Human (feelings or feel good factor) 7.1. Under Human luck, if you feel more comfortable with what you mentioned, go ahead. As it has a bearing more to do with feeling more at ease after you "implement" your decorative items - feel good factor is a powerful tool.

These are some considerations: 1. Thanks for your detailed sketch! 2. Under a major concept in symbolism; all bedroom doors must open inwards: to symbolise "qi flow" into the room. 3. This is why often, all main entrance doors must open inwards. 3.1 I do clearly remember that a few years ago, a Vietnam developer had forwarded layout plan(s) for a large estate with all main entrance door opening outwards. 3.2 Here, this is considered not auspicious. 4. Ideally, for a home, it is best also that the backdoor should also open inwards. But if there is no back door (just a grille gate then no issue if the grille gate opens outwards). 5. Not to worry, for convenience and practicality, many verandah doors often open outwards. Even many apartments with Personal Enclosed Space (PES) has doors that open outwards. 6. Looking at your drawing, it is natural to be concerned with the bedroom door directly facing the verandah door. Of course, if possible, this layout is not so good. However, for your case, it has already "happened". 7. Here, just remember the On-off or in computer terms 0 and 1 bit. When your bedroom door is opened, then if possible, the verandah door is closed and vice-versa. It is good that you have a row of cabinets where your "extra" study table are (facing the main door). 8. We can consider this as a "leak" but as I mentioned above, it is not a fatal error. Especially if you take note of above para 7.
