Dear Anon, 1. I am not sure if this is a `consolation'. 2. Many new condominums, have units (frontage) facing swimming pools. Sometimes, this can be quite noisy, but, to some practitioners, it may imply `activity', which may be good. While others may consider it bad. 3. The best consolation is based on the fact that during Chinese New Year, the letting off of `firecrackers' create noise and this act "was" (nowadays banned in many countries) said to `scare away evil or bad luck'. 4. *JOKE -start-* If noise can `irritate' us, it will most likely `irritate' (if there are any) non-humans. *JOKE -end-* Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jason, Please read below:- Yes, it does help. It is in fact the best alternative to improving your office if you are unable to relocate your sitting position. Fire would be more recommended, any pointed object or red colour will do just fine. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

These are some considerations: 1. In your case, it is better to go by personal feel or feelings. (At worse, this is known as "trial-and-error" or in today's Feng Shui); it should be given the dubious distinction of the term "trial-BY-error" method. Why? 1.1 Traditional Feng Shui not only looks at your ba zi; but in addition to this things like Flying Stars and the "stars" in your bedroom - good or bad. 1.2 Look at it this way: 1.2.1 In order to obtain your personal Ba zi information e.g. weak water person; one's date (& even time of birth) is needed. 1.2.2 This is the same for your home. Your home has it's own birth-date and BIRTH-CHART. 2. Therefore, without …

Dear Master Lee, A question on this topic about front door facing direction. I realised there are different method of calculating the best direction of a front door. Besides targeting on the breadwinner, the spouse should also be taken into consideration. For exampleif I use the 8-Element of the couple for calculation. If one of thembelongs to "Earth" and the otherbelongs to "Wood". Since Wood Enhances Fire and Fire Enhances Earth, is it true that the common direction for the couple is Fire which is "South"? Thus, the best combined direction for the above is South regardless of being one of the "bad" directions for either one of us? Its quite difficult to have one d…

1. Earth element is abundant and is always "there" in every season i.e. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. 2. Roughly, when spring is near it's end, earth element is suppose to be at it's strongest and this cycle appears at the end of summer, autumn etc.. 3. Although #2 is considered as the future prosperity, in a proper Flying star chart, all three variables need to be considered i.e. Mountain, Water and Base star. 4. Flying star Feng Shui is based on time dimensions. And while realistically, we can only analyse sectors in general for the next 20 years "average". There are so called: Yearly, Monthly, Daily, Hourly stars. Thus a sector may suddenly find itself with #2 …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hello there, I'm the year of rat(1984) and my exbf is the year of monkey(1980). We broke up thursday. We been together for about two years next thursday. Why did we break up if the chinese zodiac sign says that we are the perfect match? Why? Please help. Is there any chance we will get back together? Horoscope compatibilty is only one area that considers your year of birth vs another person's year of birth. In addition, in terms of compatibilty you need to check on thee five element compatibility, ba zi compatibility and human luck factor. Sometimes the horoscope may be compatible, but say if one is a weak wood and the other is strong Meta…

These are the consideration:- 1. Burial date does not depend on any person's "auspicious date(s)". 2. But rather for the Chinese, burial or cremation is always on the "yang" days. Yang days are odd number days. Never YIN days. 3. Thus for example if a person dies on this Friday, then Friday is counted. Thus, the earliest burial day is SUNDAY (three days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday - note Firday is counted as 1 day even if it is late into the night of Friday). 4. Thus Chinese burial (or cremation) is always: Third day, Fifth day, seventh, ninthday. Never on an even day for those in the know: 2nd, fourth, sixth, 8th day.

Dear Hock Chuan, ong hock chuan wrote: I am a bit confuse between Birth Element and Kua Element because my Kua Element is wood while my Birth element is water. Kua element or Eight House analysis is based only on YEAR of birth. While ba zi element or Ba Zi (4 Pillars/Pillars of Destiny), calculates from the day, month, year and time of birth (if available). Eight House is typtically useful for it's suitability check, as even though it is simple it has proven time and again to provide a good suitability check assessment. However, we normally do not use the Kua element as the true birth element as only the YEAR of birth was considered. True birth element is usually assse…

Dear Elizabeth, In my opinion, usually, if it is a painting of a single peony, this represents maidenhood and particuarly in the Tang Dynasty era, it is said to represent the femal genitalia. However, in ancient China, the significance is that it is considered the Queen of all flowers and signifies distinction and wealth. It is also a flower associated with the season of Spring. The most popular coloured peony (peonies) are RED. Later on, in the story of the Eight Immortals, there is a Bai Mu Dan or White Peony ... that challenged Lu Dong Bin (one of the eight immortals) and she won the contest. In my opinion, a picture with many peonies represents a vibrant `Spring' seas…

1. Please note that Period 8 ranges from 2004 to 2023. During the past few months, I being posting this link very often:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm 2. Go check it out. 3. Must everything have a cure? In fact, in many instances, the commonsense cure is not to do it. We plan to put up a small business in front of the house, which is better, locate it in the Northeast or Northwest part. I'm East group, Kua4. The house was built in Period 8. 4. Hi Maggie: I had bought a fish tank for my daughter (she loves fish)but gave it away recently. In our previous house, it enhanced a sector, in our new house, I couldn't seem to find the right spot and we had some mishaps. Ever since we gave it away - everything is fine and my daughter has forgotten about the fish. Don't feel too bad - you will find someone who wants the fish and tank and will be very grateful for the gift. Good luck!

1. If one is trying to DIY; then one of the first report(s) especially for the Male and Female breadwinner(s) should be considered:- The Eight House Report: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm Usually, from this report; especially the Male breadwinner's best facing direction should be considered. 2. The forum has lots of resources like what is considered as the facing direction etc... 3. Question like should the master bedroom be suitable to the Male breadwinner or sometimes both male and female breadwinners have different directions, then what? 4. If you want to DIY, you really (really) have to be patient and read up lots of resources. 5. Fo…

Thanks for the layout plans. These are some considerations: 1. Common sense : Ideally, the sewerage pipe(s) does not run directly above a stove. As there is a 1 in a million chance that the sewerage pipe may leak or burst sending "chocolate stuff" downwards. That's all. 2. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, best not to have the WC throne directly above the stove. If this is not the case, then phew! 3. For a bedroom above the kitchen; so long as the bed/bed-head is not directly above a stove; this is a plus point. Otherwise, what you have is acceptable. As frankly, there is often no such thing as a perfect home even if one builds it from scratch.

1. In my opinion, overall, this can be called an in-exact science (or rather art). 2. This is because of time-dimensions of the Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. Based on the concept of averages; even if one placed a mirror at the so called auspicious sector and or reflecting or bounce back whatever; over time (the longer the time) thegreater it averages out. 4. Under Flying Star, there is the 20 Year average chart, there is the Yearly chart, there is the universe where the month, the day and even the hour influence. 5. Thus, even if it is located at a good sector, somehow, it will "move" from auspicious to inauspicious sector: then how? You mean you will have to cover the mirr…
