A pyramid roof simply implies that the building takes on the element of Fire. A pyramid roof shows a pointed arrow upwards e.g. /\ / \ || Here symbolism is important. What this means is that it is pointed upwards e.g. progress. compare this with " V " downwards pointed which means down or a fall or thumble. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, As you did not provide your time of birth, I am not able to confirm what is your element (assuming the time of birth makes your element weak). However, based on that date of birth, you are a Strong Wood. Please use our free Ba Zi report to determine whether you are a weak or strong person. Our ba zi report isn't crippled in anyway, as such what you see in the free report will be exactly the same as our paid report. So please use that to confirm if you have the time of birth information. Dear Pedro, Yes, there are a few considerations for any doors:- 1. It should always open inwards into the house. (Avoid having a door that opens outwards of the house). 2. If it is the main entrance door, the door or doors should be of equal size. The door(s) should be proportionate to the frontage or area of the house. 3. If the door is at the side, it should open towards the wall. 4. It should preferably not be in the "middle " of a room but preferred that it should be at any one of the side of the room. If not the door would be `hanging' in the " middle of the room. " Therefore priority must be given for the door to open inwards. It can be on any side of the room. Wher…

Dear Glyn, 1. Frankly, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui it is not advisable to place a bed next to the window(s): 1.1 Often, the window next to where one person sleeps could be closed. Or if open, can bring `drafts' of air to those sleeping close to the window. 1.2 A better Shapes and Form arrangement is as shown under the attachment. 1.3 Here, the bed has a back support and away from the `elements' (window). Since, you had also mentioned that there is no toilet at this location. 1.4 Is the bedroom door at the middle or at the side. This is not a main issue unless one sleeps with the legs facing the bedroom door (in this situation, it is akin to bringing out the coffin…

Frankly, all these have to do with personal believes than Feng Shui. In my opinion, it is best not to be too concerned with "other people's logo" especially since one does not have full control over it. If one really fancies a car, then based on ba zi; could go for one's favourable colour(s) for the car. For example in a conscripted army like Singapore uniforms: green = army white = navy blue = air force If a person is a strong wood person. Can this person requests to go into the navy (white) instead as green is considered inauspicious? What you mentioned, therefore is utopian way of thinking. Then there will be others who will say: THREE pointed stars (Mercedes) logo i…

Dear Bill, Please see below:- The three legged toad (gold or wood) is a commercial product. Many sellers sell it on the basis that they belife it is suppose to `bring good luck' to the owner. There is another type of Ba Gua mirror with the Two door Gods. Again, this is said to protect against evil spirits. It is usually used by some practising Feng Shui practioners (with links to their personal religion) e.g. Taoism and they themselves believe that their clients should place these Ba Gua above their doors. From what I understand, if you are talking about the First Heaven Sequence Ba Kua, it is said to be originated by the ancient Chinese sage King called Fux…

1. If the view from the main door is that of the staircase "flowing" downwards, this is inauspicious. As it is symbolic of wealth flowing our and downwards. But if the view is of an "upwards" staircase, this is still acceptable. 2. The most transparent "cure" is the use of grille gates "that have some reflective surface". For example, some people use stainless steel grille gates that have a reflective surface. Or plastic perspex sheet at the lower part of the grill gate (to block cats and dogs from coming in or going out of the house). As the same time, because of the reflective properties of the plastic (perspex) sheet, it acts like a mirror. This is provided that one's…

Dear Ben, Thanks for the recent photos. Overall, a Bagua (Pakua) mirror above the window should be ok since you are unable to implement the rest of the other cures. It should be able to neutralise the sha qi. (It would nice to have more - but OK.) The skylight in the middle is acceptable. In fact many of the older Chinese houses do have skylight coming in to the middle court yard. However, if it would not be acceptable if there is a tree exactly in the middle of the court yard. As in one of the recent mail, I mentioned that it is inauspicous to do so. Ideally, the staircase, should be avoided at exactly the centrepoint - and also it should have one or two or more tur…

In Chiromancy or palmistry, you can look at the hands and discover how many offsprings one have. Later on, after we have fully developed Geomancy.net, I will add modules on Chinese Face and Hand reading... So, do look out for more developments. As usual we will also merge technology with all available Chinese astrology, divinity methods ... isn't it exciting?

Dear Chloe, Yes, it is best to avoid placing a bagua mirror facing inside the house. In my opinion, you could place two potted plants on both sides of the main door entrance. But if the plants does block the walkway, then do not place the plants. I feel that a crystal ball would not help the situation. Overall, for now I am too sure how the two doors `interact'. But, since they do not create any poison arrows or sha qi, perhaps, you need not place any objects at these sectors. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some of the considerations:- 1. The concept of : "If it ain't broken, don't fix-it!". 1.1. The idea is that if one generally doing fine; and has been staying in an existing home; and only due to one's itchy fingers; got advise to move the bed; 1.2. If so, leave it as it is. 2. Sleeping under the "coffin" position concept. 2.1. Please see attachment: coffin position.gif (Illustration of a typical "coffin position") 3.Frankly, I often just scan thru lots of text like yours - (faintest) idea about your bedroom arrangement. (I prefer a sketch). 4. Concept of "auto-suggestion" and ....hmmm... self-fullfilling prophecy... 4.1. Often it takes someone else to make a co…

For a South House, North = Longevity NE = Disaster East = Prosperity SE = Health S = Excellent SW = Irritation West = Spook NW = Death Here, preferable that you sleep with your HEAD facing any of the good directions. Dear Ai Ling, In my opinion, this is not so bad as compared to two equal mirrors that totally `split' a person into two. So far, I have yet to come across any major problems with what you had mentioned. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Fundamentally, here, you are applying the Eight House theory. 2. As many of us are aware, the Eight House theory looks at how suitable the house is to the owner(s). 3. In addition, if we have several homes to decide upon, which is better, the other common approach is to perhaps determine, between these homes, which sectors are good or bad vs the other homes. 4. For example, home 1: main door (inauspicious) 2. living room (inauspicious) sector, toilet at husband's prosperity sector; we then compare home 2; home 3 against home 1 to see which home is better. 5. Other than the above, we have to use other methods : Shapes and forms and Flying star Feng Shui, to determ…

Dear kaushal, Why don't you take the feng shui course offered by the cecil and robert lee right here on internet and trust me it is a good course and if you have doubts or you don't understand something you can always get answers from them personally. And if you find somebody in your city make sure they teach traditional feng shui and not the fast food feng shui called black hat tibetan feng shui since BTB is not real feng shui and will cause more harm than good. Good luck!
