Usually, if corrected properly, the effects are not long term. This range from activating metal element eg. a 6 hollow rod wind chime at the frontage and if the back equally has #2 sickness and or #5 and or #9 fire element then wind chime(s) could be used. 4. This depends on the survey and shapes and forms of the exterior of the home and if the South-West sector is the garden; a water postion MAY be activated e.g. reference material: what makes a good water position: http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to 2.12 5.   2. Further to what I had mentioned; these are further considerations: 1. As much of the forum message(s) goes back as far as 1999; this was where we hosted our forum on our own servers; previously; in 1996 to 1998 - used a free forum. 2. Do take note that for example; some of the information on Eastpoint Green was based on the critical period where there was a change of Flying Star (qi). 3. Here, Flying Star qi changes every 20 years: 3.1. From 1984 to 2003 (Period 7) and 3.2. From 2004 to 2023 (Period 8) 4. Thus, some of the concerns may or may not be the same. For example, I could remember clearly; on top of my busy schedules; 4.1 I had calls or urgent cases. And "strangely" many of the cases were related to homes that seemingly had or used to having auspicious luck e.g. Double 7 facing directions became or having poor or no luck at all. 4.2 Many of the cases I attended to; especially where Period 7; North facing homes and also NW facing homes. 5. Thus do take note that if one is looking at past forum reviews or messages; do take this time period into consideration i.e. 2001 (three years) before new Period 8 and after.
  3. 1. In general, all developments can/may have good, average and not so good units or stacks. This is the same for Eastpoint Green. 2. Thus, "IT DEPENDS!" should be applied when looking at individual units in this (Eastpoint Green) and other developments. 3. Feng Shui is about trying to avoid or fix as many major leaks as possible. And of course, sometimes enhancements. 4. If an apartment say have leaks; but must understand what kind of leaks: MAJOR or MINOR. And how many of them or combinations of them for a home or apartment. 5. Thus, if a home usually or often has the equivalent of 3 or 4 MAJOR leaks or a few minor leaks combined together to form major leaks; then in such situations; the Earth Luck or Feng Shui begins to detoriate and the effect is inauspicious for the breadwinners of the home. 6. Another concept is often: There is few if any such things as a "perfect Feng Shui" home. Even those built from scratch often may have some compromises such as location of toilet(s); kitchen, stove, bedrooms etc. etc...

Yes, this applies especially for some facing directions where there are two ways of looking at it:- 1. Since double 8's are at some of these flying star facing directions; it could be enhanced 2. For some homes; only the frontage has excellent stars like double 8's but many other sectors (Flying Star) are littered with lots of or combinations of inauspicious stars; thus, refer to para 1. And try to neutralise bad stars in other sectors of the home. If not; as you had mentioned; even if one has double 8's; and other sectors have especially #5 and #2 or combinations of them; could be disastrous for health.

  6. Don't worry, no harm done. Thanks for your kind understanding Just that in the past, that of all the website you had extracted the image; that specific website used to be quick on the draw and I understand had used lawyers to sue quite alot of people who simply used their map to guide potiential clients to their location. This is the main reason why, I never like using "streetdirectory.com" map as an educational tool in-case one inadvertently forgot to give them a credit despite such things as "Fair usage" concept.
  7. Attached is one of the sample layout plans for Blk 7 Tower 2 Seasons View #xx-05. In my opinion; for those who are aware of this forum; I have never ask any users here to do this for many other developments. But, in my opinion; for those who intend to buy a resale unit in this development MAY/ SHOULD / MIGHT want to seriously get some professional help to BE SAFE to check the "cleanliness" of the unit. That's all I have to say. P.S. Cleanliness as related to the "spirtual kind"
  8. Singapore's last few new towns: Sengkang West (used to be Seletar Farmway area). In the 1980's I remembered driving down towards Sembawang: 1980, 1981, 1982 onwards until 1986. I had to drive through a new town at that time called "Yishun New Town". Today, there are not many new towns left in Singapore due to scarcity of land. Thus one of the last two major new towns: Punggol and Sengkang West Way (other than reclaim land); Singapore seems to be running out of such virgin land. These photos taken ofseveral acresof what used to be forests area in Sengkang West (formerly Seletar farmway where pig farms were aplenty during the 1950's to even 1980's. It is a true reminder for me of how Yishun New Town came about. Today, Yishun is considered as a Matured Estate. No longer called "New" Town. With these photos; I hope to capture partks of Sengkang West bordering Punggol before they are built up. I hope these photos will be valuable insights, 30, 50 or even 100 years from now!

In Singapore, this is a fine of up to $1,000.00 Many Singapore public housing lifts even has this warning etched on the lift wall " URINE DETECTION " or " Camera-Ready" (As the word camera-ready just means it! No camera installed, yet!" Oh! I forgot! SINGAPORE IS ALSO FAMOUSLY KNOWN AS A "FINE CITY". And for tourists coming to Singapore, it is certainly worth buying a "tourist" T-Shirt with such a "name!" Do get such a t-shirt; in Silly Singapore!

Please see illustration. 3. Assuming that if we take a compass reading from A to B and this equals to 0 degrees = pure North cardinal point. 4. Then even if we take a reading say from C to D; E to F; G to H; tell me what is the reading? Is it the same reading as A to B = 0 degrees?
  11. 1. In general, it is based on the Dragon Water Classics. 2. Note: nowadays, roads are equivalent of "water courses". 3. Attached is an illustration (BOTTOM of the attachment) showing how a "Jade Belt" looks like and a home at the "belly" of the Jade Belt symbolises a prosperous looking belly. 4. The key ingredient is a home facing this Jade Belt to have the best effect. Contrast this with the TOP illustration where instead it is surrounded by an extension or an "X".
  12. Thanks for the information. Since the plot is relatively large in relation to the home; and as you had mentioned that there is no poison arrow; generally, all sounds good In addition; have also mentioned in the first posting that the plot is acceptable given that it is a corner plot.

One commonsense approach to taking a compass reading; in-fact; one does not even need a compass at all. Go study the attachments. Clue: all streetdirectory and google maps - TOP page is 0 degrees and bottom is South 180 degrees. Go think about it how it can help. C. For example: SITEMAP SAMPLE1 shows a block of flat. And with some imagination; of say the unit; one can even get the correct compass reading off this map. Sitemap Sample2 is about a industry building Zervex. You wrote : 4. Internationally, the arrow-head points to the North or 0 degrees. Thus, based on the layout plan; the opposite site is 180 degrees or South 2 (S2) facing direction. If one adds such a marking and did not state clearly that this is only a rough guideline; then you only know best. Therefore my reply is based on the adage: "Garbage in; garbage out...". Do check out your attachment with the compass marking on it.
  16. In my opinion: 1. The photo is very fuzzy or blur. 2. There seems to be service roads on three sides of the property: NW, NE and SE. 3. From the blur photo; it seems that the plot is pretty large or the built up area is small as compared to the huge plot. And this is often an advantage even if the main door @SE faces the neighbour's home. 4. What is more concern is whether there are drains running on the NE side and/or SE side and/or NW side. And even how the rainfall drains out of the property is critical. 5. Frankly, a home at the corner often be larger than the rest and may have less then rectangular plot but this does not detract or make it fatally inauspicious. 6. Since the photo is blur to fuzzy; then if you need to check any threats to the main entrace or to any of the windows; then stand inside the opening looking outwards for any threats. See attachment. 6.1. Such threats are often easily corrected; again if the plot is land is large and there seems to be a large garden surronding the home.
  17. These are some of the considerations: 1. Based on the concept of the "most yang" qi; in my opinion; the facing direction should be standing at A looking out towards B. Here, even if we stand inside the living room or master bedroom looking out towards the window; the most probable facing direction is SOUTH. 2. In theory "light travels" in a straight line. Here, in the very broad sense; even if there is a large opening at "South-West" It does not mean that one should tilt the facing direction towards South-West. One of the reasons is that the facade where the most windows are (or = most yang qi) is still based on purple marking A looking out towards B. 3. From the two conflicting schools of thought; thus your facing direction can only be either/or:- 3.1. Standing at purple marking A looking out towards B = South facing or S2 facing direction. 3.2. From those very conservative or not too family with high rise Geomancer; they will always "quote" ancient Feng Shui books or concepts that say: one must stand inside the main door (Marking C) looking outwards D. 4. In my opinion; thus it is high chance that your apartment's facing direction is Flying Star South = S2 facing direction. This also follows the facade of the building. 5. In a landed property; often even if we say have a home that is facing South (S2) and even if we do tilt the main door to face South-west; this is considered temporary as it will ultimately revert back to South (S2).
  18. In my opinion, this seems unusual; if it occurs only in the night; most likely they are searching for food. Make sure that all your food especially fruits are out of their reach.   21. 1. Look at it this way: all of us one day will perish: "ashes to ashes; dusts to dusts". 2. Thus in general; the majority of has to one day die of old age. If so, there ain't no worries about things that a "dead" persons; furthermore; one's own flesh and blood living us things. 3. Of course, there are many instances for some; a loved one dying of old age in a home. And looking at it: left the home to their loved ones.. 4. For natural dead; and later cremation; cremation is neutral. And like many of us; do keep our late father's funeral photo (frame). Here, we keep it with respect in a proper cupboard and not "chuck" it away. 5. Besides this; the other factor is based on "psychology". 5.1 Some of us don't feel comfortable looking at items that belong to the "late" loved ones.. as it may remind the person of their "late" father. This is natural especially if the person has died very recently. 5.2 Some even have this "phobia" for many years. Thus, you; yourself have to be your own judge. And decide what is best for YOU: be it keeping one or more of the items or completely remove (them) from your home. It is your own calling. 6. As I said; there is nothing bad or harmful in keeping such things. Many a-times; it is in our minds. Again, you have to discuss with your immediate family (or if you are the boss of the home); do what you feel is right at this time. 7. I believe; there are (or may be some) who throw or give away some or all these items and later do regret not keeping some of the momentos......

  23. Raffles Place in the 1960's. In the 1960's a 1 level basement car-park was built underground below the square. The photo also shows the tallest building in South-East Asia in the 1930's. Another prominent building: the Merchantile Bank building that replaced the Union Bank building. Today, this Merchantile Bank building had been torn down.

Commonsense Feng Shui and "First Impressions Count." 1.1.1 Here, just imagine when we step into the home; visually if the toilet door is not closed; then our "first impression" is to see thewash basin + themirror. 1.1.2 It is like the notion of asking someone not to place the dining table so close to the main entrance door. Again this is cow-sense. Some of us literally litter our dining table with lots of "rubbish" on it. And someone stepping into our home immediately gets to see this pile of "rubbish". Again it is more of the "first impressions count". 1.2. The will claim that a mirror facing the main door is no good. Again; there is this commonsense or cow-sense involved. Some of us come into a home and suddenly get to glimpse a shadow of a person in the mirror. 1.2. These are some of the "paranoid" I mentioned. Otherwise, what is there to be concerned about. 2. I can safely say based on eye-ball method: "This layout's toilet is at the center-point of the home". 3.1. Since you can't change to Option A and B; then no issue; just close the toilet door when not in use. For those who want to make a few cents; can always place a table and a small coin box that says " 10 cents to enter toilet".. how's that!

You can refer to Options A orB as possible viable alternatives. (Subject to structural engineering approval or your country's building approval on such alternation(s) )
