  1. 1. The SpringBloom condo was built under Period 7. It consists of three well spaced blocks: Jade, Pearl and Ruby. 2. This development has a diverse range of stacks that face: cardinal points: North, NE, SW, SE and NW. Many who apply the Eight House have tried to buy an apartment in this development that fits or suits their East or West Group. 3. Many years back, when I went to see the show-room of this development by MCL Land; the thing that still dwell in my mind was that I was abit taken back by the "entrance". This is the only condo I know that has an entrance over a large canal. Just imagine an european fort. Which needs to draw down its bridge. 4. It is popular as it is near to the Serangoon MRT station.Tenure of land is leasehold: 99 years. 5. Another plus point is that all three blocks are oriented towards the pure or true cardinal points of 0/360 degrees and 180 degrees. As such, none of the stacks would be affected by being neither here nor there i.e. "emptiness line" where in some developments: an apartment is exactly between e.g. NE1 / NE2 etc..
  2. 1. Step 1: Find out what is your Personal Element:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 2. Step 2: Use this link to find out the colour associations and even the preferred shape for a company logo. Since this is a sole proprietorship; it is simple to find out your best colours and shapes to use for a company logo:- http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm For example: if earth element supports your Personal Element, then colour associated with earth is yellow and a logo could include a squarish or rectangular shape. If metal element is suited to your Personal Element; then you may consider a logo that is circular in design and colours like gold, silver or other metallic colours and white are preferred. All these elements may be combined if they so happen to suit you.
  3. This conCAVE mirror was placed outside a "missing" corner of a home..
  4. This is an "excellent" video; reminding all of us to drive safely at all times! Nowadays; many of us are either distracted by handphone calls and sms text messages... I believe; all these can wait.. WARNING!: THIS IS A VERY SAD VIDEO:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyWAwUDA4rw
  5. 1. Although all the table tops comes from the "earth" itself; colours does play a significant part in identifying which of the five elements the table-top materials (and colours) are made-off. 2. Distinct colours like:- Green = wood element Red = fire element Violet (purple) = fire element Water = blue or black 3. Some other colours are harder to differentiate. Some colours show up differently under lighting; lightining tones : cool day light; warm lights. 4. Colours especially brown or brownish (wood element)is often associated with tones of yellow or cream colour (earth element). There is really no right or wrong answers, here. 5. Some of the brownish with creamy colours have also specks of shiny gold colour. So this material may even be considered as belonging to wood-earth-metal element. 6. Metal (Gold) colour is often also closely related to yellowish and reddish yellowish colour. 7. What we can learn from these is that often like careers; a material can belong to several elements. For example; even in a career; the industry can be water (Telecommunications) and one is working in Sales and Marketing (fire element) in that industry.
  6. 1. The Eight House or East / West Group is based on the premise of either spending time at a sector and/or also nice-to face a good direction. (Full Stop). 2. One should not drag this concept into other situations as what you are trying to "drag it down to". 3. Thus activating say a SW sector has no association with the above. 4. Anyway, what you are trying to apply is "static" Feng Shui that does not take into account time dimensions. 5. A far more professional approach is to apply time dimension in Feng Shui. 5.1 For example;to draw up a Flying Star chart and in-particular; try to disarm #3. And if possible activate Mountain Star #8 and Water Star #8. 5.2 #3 refers to Romance/Education and other human relationship issues. While especially mountain star #8 involves networking and relatiionship luck. And water star #8 is associated with general luck and overall wealth luck.
  7. I like to mention that what I had commented is akin to looking at "external surface" much like looking and examining a person for any external "injuries" if any. It does not mean that as long as the external skin looks or can be corrected; the internal is 100 fine or OK? For humans, there are such things as internal injuries or even bleeding... even if the surface area looks clean and OK. Cavet Emptor! Let the buyer, beware!
  8. 1. As mentioned in my last example; vertical overlapping wooden strips that overlap each other on each side can allow air movement. Thus it could also be a full wooden planks or a half-height wall with wooden fencing on top of the other half to allow air movement. 2. Please note that my ealier advise is purely on the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 3. Your questions like main door etc.. colours etc... should be based more on the Compass School of Feng Shui. 4. If you are doing own business; make sure that not only what I had mentioned being explored : Shapes and Forms but also the Compass School Feng Shui be looked into. As it helps to understand how suitable the home is to the breadwinner and any other wealth leaks e.g. based on Flying Star Feng Shui. 5. If you are a salaried worker; then even if Para 4 is not as good; it is less of a "burden" compared to being an owner of a business. As often such homes may handicap a business person - who all the time needs proper "support" from their earth luck - and cannot afford seasonal luck from a home.
  9. This house is at a T-Junction. Please see marking in RED "A". Instead of using concrete high walls that do not let in air; high walls can also use inter-laced wood e.g. wooden planks usually chengnai wood over lapping each other but yet allow breeze or wind to flow in and out of the home.
  10. Further to what I had mentioned; there are some other "cosmetic" issues for Home marking in purple B:- 1. The two openings looks like two ancestral tablets. 2. Ideally it is best not to have spikes or spear-heads on top of a gate.
  11. 1. Both A and B are "jointly" at a T-Junction. 2. Both homes cannot "run-away" from being a t T-Junction. The test of a T-Junction is to imagine a car driving directly towards the home. 3. Both homes have high walls. However, home with purple marking B has still some "leaks" in the form of two openings at the wall. While home with marking A does not have. 4. It is best that the occupants of home B; whether now or future should re-do the wall : similar to that of home A. 5. If one looks closely at Home B; it has large and tall white squarish grilles. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, such grilles does not encourage good qi to flow to-and from the home. 6. In fact the percentage of all the facade is covered with the very small grilles. Thus this alone is a contributory factor in having poor movement of qi. 7. There are other considerations like how does the drainage of rain water flow in the terrace home. And other factors include Flying Star Feng Shui analysis etc... All these factors have to be really looked into - if one wants to go deeper into a proper analysis. 8. In the long term; selling such a home may pose a concern. For example; if you are already quite concerned with the Feng Shui; how about others who may be considering the home. 9. Fortunately; things like the high and tight arrangement of squarish grilles can be removed and the openings at the wall; although allow air circulation; should have to be patched up.
  12. 1. Appreciate if you can let me know if the house you are referring to is marking in RED A or marking in PURPLE B? 2. Location? Malaysia?
  13. The Marina Bay Sands Resort & Casino is the only two casino initiatives to make Singapore a more attractive and vibrant city. This development consists of three cascading hotel towers. The unique feature of this development is that the top of the three towers are joined together to contain a sky park. It also has crystal floating pavillions and a lotus-inspired ArtScience Museum and retail stores. Many celebrity chef restaurants, entertainment theatres, night clubs and Vegas-style casino. There are also venues for meetings and conferences. Pictures taken on Wednesday, 29 July 2009.
  14. This article says that organic food is no more nultritious than ordinary food. We pay more only for the perceived health benefits.
  15. 1. Please note the the Eight House concept is more useful when we are trying to select which home to purchase. 2. Once, we are "stuck" with a specific home and trying to apply the Eight House concept; then; all these become "NICE-to-have" and not a "MUST-have". 3. For example, once we have either stayed in a specific home or are going to occupy the home; one cannot change where the bedrooms are. If the bedrooms are all in the North, South, SE or East sectors; then in the first instance; how to "MUST-have"sleep in a good sector. 4. If it is nearly impossible to do so; then again it would be "NICE-to-have" sleep with the head facing a good direction. 5. Thus; overall, in an existing home; all these concepts are "NICE-to-have" and sometimes even if we want to have;but it is not possible in such instances.
  16. Sorry, this is a side-track from Feng Shui: For those starting or evaluating going into a business; should read and understand Michael E Porter's : Porter's Five Forces:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porter_five_forces_analysis This is one of the best models for Strategic Planning of a new or existing business.
  17. 1. I believe you are trying to avoid moving in after the Chinese 7th lunar month beginning from 20 August 2009. 2. Thus, I also feel that continuing with the renovation is considered as a lesser of the two. 3. The plus point is that the activites you had describe is nothing new or serious: "such as polishing of floor, painting of house, toilet renovation, etc". Such activites are also done by many others present and past who had stayed in a home for quite some time. 4. Thus, in my opinion, all these activities that you had described are OK. Just that do take note of locations based on the Tai Sui and Five Yellow and Three Killings location for the year. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2009.htm Grand Duke this year is North-North-East, 30 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is East. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. Anonymous wrote: Is it ok to continue with the renovation work after "Kai Guang" and move in?
  18. 1. In general, it is a "pity" we live Singapore. This is because Singapore is a small "red dot" with a small population. 2. And a country that was once "young". And hopefully it is only a transition. As up till now; all we see or many employers seeuseful in "younger workers". 3.I believe in 20 years time; the frame of mind of employers and HR will change. By the time many of us will be in our twilightyears! 4. Evenwe started Geomancy.net many donkey years ago; at least more than 1.5 decades ago; we don't choosedomain names that end with country .sg. As Singapore is truly a tiny island. 5.In Singapore; if one is "old" or elderly or body still young butin theory isover 40 years old: there is nothing much one can do: for manypast salaried workers. 6. Thus, the most common work: are in the real estate, food business and even taxi drivers. There is nothing wrong in going into these trades... just that there are not much one can go into - with a small market of 4 million plus minus the young and the elderly.. maybe just 2.5 million productive workers (with money to spent). 7. In theory, what you mention, is acceptable. Teo O. wrote: Will it be fine if someone own the cafe but I manage the business as a management staff?
  19. 1. Often, in our quest to determine what is Sha Qi or poison arrow; many of us don't get the full picture. 2. Many often, we ourselves; are the culprit! For example, take a look at this picture. Some homes even have grills for the windows and the main entrance with the "arrow" head design.
  20. 1. Frankly as mentioned in my previous forum messages; a real sha qi or poison arrow must meet certain conditions. 2. A shadow "acting" like a sha qi is not. 3. If one should "insisit" to neutralise a placebo; then go ahead. Although again, I don't see much use, here. 4. It may not be practical to place a conVEX mirror given that most likely; the shadow may not fall on it. A 6 hollow rod wind chime MAY be used. But, if it really cause too much noise vs one's tolerance vs psychology of seeinga sha qi is the lesser of the two evils. 5. Thus, if one really one to place a placebo cure, then go ahead. But please don't mention that this was recommended by me. Pretend that you heard it from some where, else. This is one case of "see no evil, speak no.. and hear no evil."
  21. 1. Under the Five Elements concept: 1.1. Real estate industry belongs to the earth element. 1.2. If you are in the real estate industry and selling "something" such as a home or an agent helping to rent out a home / office or factory this is considered as under the fire element. 1.3. Please note that a person can be in the real estate industry but his/her major job function can be any of these:- 1.3.1 Human resource management 1.3.2 Property Management 1.3.3 Customer Relations and many more.. if so, depending on the main job scope; there are different elements associated with any of these. 2. Based strictly on the Five Elements concept: 2.1. Real estate being an earth element is considered not suitable to a strong earth person. As it adds more stress and literally; it is like adding earth to already strong earth. 2.2. If your job function is sales or marketing of properties: under the producitve sequence of the five elements: Fire will inflame earth. Thus if one is already a strong earth person; it is like fuelling fire with fire. Thus overall not considered harmonious to the person. 2.3 A strong earth person's wealth element is Water element. And such a person's wealth career is metal element. As metal helps to reduce or neutralise or draw away too much earth. 3. A strong earth person; should reduce his/her earth element to a state of "neutral bouyancy". Similiarly a weak earth person should increase his/her weak earth to become neutral element. 22. 1. So far, this is the first time that I had seriouly heard that a shadow may or could cause a "poison arrow". 2. Frankly, following a shadow even if it falls on a home may not necessarily cause a poison arrow. Especially if your home is not pure North-South and East-West and furthermore, the sun must have cast the shadow directly to your home. 3. Please check what I had mentioned earlier. Such shadows are " considered like a pusedo effect...may be harmless. 4.Do remember to stand inside thehome- directly looking out of the window. You never mentioned that whether can the bamboo pole be seen or not. But rather; you are so considered with a shadow. We are not there so how to interpret or even mis-interpret your message? 5. Anyway, drawing an equivalent: 5.1. Beams? - Concrete beam with steel metal rods embedded in it and wood supports are considered real beams. Why? - Because these are very solid material(s) that carry loads or load bearing supports. - Many homes nowadays install gypsum board false ceilings that are either undulating or looks like a beam. Firstly these gypsum boards are not load bearing. Furthermore, the gypusm board material is very light. - Thus, gypsum board false ceilings only cause a "pusedo effect". It is like taking a sugar coated pill. 6. A bamboo pole is equally light and not as solid as the solid lamp post or the wooden telephone pole. 7. Frankly, the only shadows; I am concerned are from Kung Fu or martial arts experts. Some are highly skilled in what is known as "shadow boxing". This is the type of shadows I am really afraid off. 8. I am not afraid of a shadow of a pole that casts its shadows on my window.
  23. 1. For simple no frills; method of finding out compatibility:- http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/acompare/acompare.htm The above is based purely on the Chinese Zodiac signs. This isa very general method as it analyses only the YEAR of one's birth. And it is compared to both parties (or even partner's) YEAR of birth. This type of compatibility is like two countries going to war:- For example: It is like one country flying propellar plans that can only fly up to 400 mph and the other more advanced country flying any jet plane. A jet plane can easily reach Mach 1 or Mach 2 (twice the speed of a bullet). 2. Using Ba Zi analysis 2.1. Minimium data required : Year, Month, Day of birth (Time of birth is better, but some people really don't have a proper time and often some look at different time zones and wonder what to do with it. For example, maid comes from the Phillipines etc. 2.2. For example, the employer is considered as "weak water" person. AND if the maid is considered a "strong fire" person; then considered very in-compatible. 2.3. Another example, the employer is a "weak water" person. And the maid is a strong metal person. As metal element supports water; this is a very good pairing: of employer with maid etc.. 3. In the past; few other than highly skilled geomancys are not able to complete or even correclty get the ba zi. 4. Even today, 8 out of 10 geomancer will "screw-up" with the reading. 5. In fact, just last year, a forum user brought to my attention that she had previously went to a "author- Geomancer's website". 6. Her calculations differ from Geomancy.net. And when she last checked, last year; that geomancer had revised her results that matched Geomancy.net's analysis. 7. Caveat Emptor: Let the "buyer" beware that not all Ba zi analysis are created equal. Many simply get the results wrong! 8. In such an instance; is'nt it better to use the "no frills" Chinese zodiac sign compatibility - under instances as mentioned : Para 7, above.
  24. 1. In my opinion these are some of the considerations:- 1.1. The poison arrow must be straight-ahead. And not seen at the side of the window. It has to be directly facing the window; 1.2. In addition, it must be at the same level. For example; one should stood down and look out exactly horizontally at the fringe of the bottom of the window. If the antennae cannot be seen; it is not a threat. 1.3. Material: Usually the TV antennae aerial is made of soft material - some "aluminium" type of soft metal. If the material is quite soft; other than the support; such soft material is less or even a non-threat. 1.4. For example: A solid telephone wooden support post and a gulvanised steel street lamp is definitely considered a "threat" if it slicing into an opening: be a window or an entrance. These materials are "solid" and relatively hard.
  25. If these homes are in the United States (US), homes outlined in RED would instead be considered as the least auspicious amongst the row of terrace homes. Please see attachment.
