  1. My earlier illustration of a bamboo pole holder (thin and tall) and the ends of the poles are considered poison arrow(s). The attached photo is the most common type of poison arrow that many of us can recognise. But do remember that a sample innocent object like a clothes dryer - bamboo pole holder can equally become a poison arrow. In this picture: fortunately,it is just the club-house of Sunglade condo. And the day curtains are drawn-down. Thus if it cannot be seen, it no longer becomes a threat.
  2. Imagine if one is standing inside illustration called " UNIT 1". Standing inside the unit, you face a wall and the pedestal. Such walls are common in condos.. Only the pedestal.. one of a kind... seldom see this... feature...
  3. The Botannia recently TOP. In this sample illustration, there are two purple rectangles (representing the doors of two units: say unit #05-01 and #05-02. Can you imagine standing inside the home and looking out and you can see a huge pedestal facing "blocking" the home's main entrance door? Actually this is only an illustration, but the actual units have similar pedestals very close to the main door. Compared to your picture, despite it is at 2pm in the afternoon when I took the photo, the foyer or entrance area of the flats is both "crammed" and dim. Therefore, compared to your's the "issues" or non-issues are peanuts. There are many many condosespecially with partial walls blocking their main entrance that I can think off!
  4. 1. Further from what I had mentioned, often, we do see a situation where our neighbour's have a bamboo rod holder as shown in purple marking A. Please see attachment. 2. Sorry, for this rough sketch. This bamboo rod holder marking A is considered as a poison arrow and not the wall. 3. It would be "worse" if the neighbour points many bamboo pole ends towards the home! Thus, in real life situations, we do have neighbours with poison arrows markings "A" and "B". (Of course, in this illustration the neighbour would share the same poison arrow as the other sideof the bamboo rod holder and bamboo would equally create a poison arrow towards their home. But some HDB homes especially the corridor unit may be affected bynext door neighbour doing the sameand that neighbour would not be affected by the poison arrow.
  5. 1. One positive point for your home is that the frontage of your main entrance door area looks "bright and open space" - a plus point for any home. 2. This is known as the "Bright Hall" or Ming Tang and definitely a plus for a home. Just look at some apartments; their main door is squeezed in some dark area or corner of a home. 3. In my opinion, the "partial" wall is quite a distance from your main entrance door. And therefore, it has more to do with "psychology" than anything else. Frankly, it is unlike a poison arrow: as a poison arrow is much like a "knife" e.g. a pole slicing thru the main door. 4. In fact, perhaps coincidence, in my mind I can think of many condominiums that are "dark and dim" and such partial walls are much much closer to the unit. The last three new condo developments that I had recently went to: had this kind of "entrance". 5. In Singapore, your apartment is not the only one that has this description or design. I believe, as many as 10 to 15 percent or more HDB flats have some sort of wall as shown in your picture and some of the walls are even much closer. 6. So long as "qi is able to collect" at the frontage as shown in your sample picture, this is considered good and often such a situation not only neutralises or reduces any other major leaks in a home. 7. This is why, often, we hear that when we enter our main entrance, we should not be "hit" by a wall facing the main door. 8. If you are looking for "wealth leaks" in your home; look elsewhere as such leaks are "minor" or even in my opinion: for your home non-existent... due to the Bright Hall effect... Such leaks if any are considered "kachang putehs" or peanut flaws..(if any)
  6. 1. Traditionally, NE is considered the devil's gate (or portal)and SW (the opposite side) is considered as the devil's backdoor. 2. Thus a home usually in an alignment with a temple; may not generally be auspicious. 3. As you had mentioned; if the feel good factor is not there; despite the fact that the unit you are looking is "up there" but down there (the thai temple) is so visible; if in doubt; please look elsewhere. 4. In the future; (not Feng Shui) if you intend to sell such a home; others would equally be concerned as much as you are now. 5. In my opinion, you should consider this apartment as a "last-resort"....
  7. Frankly, if you are not sure, best to "invest" in or search for a Geomancer that provides Can or Cannot buy service or services for a home. Usually, if you are very interested in a home; and if you engage a geomancer to advice on "Can or cannot buy"; on that visit; the geomancer will advice on the home and if the home has issues; will advise you further and often, you will get to understand what to look out for (later) on your next house hunting. Hope you understand that a one line statement that you had made below:- sounds so simple.... 8. 1. Frankly so long as you close your gate and have the fence it is perfectly OK, already. 2. In Asia, basically Thailand revere the elephant - while India treats it as a work-horse. No significance in Feng Shui.. unless you are literally "wanting" to trample your "relatives"... Again, this has nothing to do with Feng Shui.
  9. 1. Most of us have seen ba gua mirrors placed above a door. 2. Today, I walked pass this apartment and was surprised to see one of the "largest" ba gua mirrors placed above a certain home's entrance door!
  10. Further to what I had mentioned:- 1. Flying Star Feng Shui will determine what colours MAY or may not be used in a certain sector: For example a master bedroom. 2. For example, if the master bedroom sector is afflicted by #5 (bad yellow); it would be preduent to avoid using BRIGHT YELLOW in this bedroom. 3. Please see attachment. Two of the ba zi profiles are as follows:- [1.] Sample Mr A, Male - 23 Feb 1978 7.00 a.m. to 8.59 a.m. (The husband) Birth Element: Strong Fire Favourable Element/Colour: Earth (yellow), Water (blue/black/gray), Metal (white/gold) Unfavourable Element/Colour: Wood (green/brown), Fire (red) Wealth Element/Colour: Metal (white/gold) [2.] Sample Female Ba Zi, Female - 21 Feb 1976 3.00 p.m. to 4.59 p.m. (The wife) Birth Element: Strong Water Favourable Element/Colour: Wood (green/brown), Earth (yellow), Fire (red) Unfavourable Element/Colour: Metal (white/gold), Water (blue/black/gray) Wealth Element/Colour: Fire (red) 4. Individually, each individual has their own ba zi "colours". But for a PROPER analysis:- Individual charts are related to the two partner's chart: and the binding elements are colours that are common to both of them. In this sample: Earth is the common denominator. 5. Overall, this family consists of three persons: Sample Mr A and Sample Female are husband and wife. And their binding element or common bazi element is Earth element: Yellow, cream or beige: Binding Element Analysis This section you will find the list of Binding Elements which helps to bond or strengthen the relationship between each other. Comparing between Binding Element Sample Mr A & Sample Female Ba Zi Strong Fire vs Strong Water Earth Sample Mr A & Mr 18 June 1980 Strong Fire vs Strong Wood Earth & Metal Sample Female Ba Zi & Mr 18 June 1980 Strong Water vs Strong Wood Earth & Fire 6. Thus, for areas where both share especially the master bedroom; it is an interaction of their ba zi elements and colours and the house's birth chart Flying Star colours. 7. The above is then the proper method to deduce what colours can or cannot be used in EACH area of a home.
  11. 1. This illustrations (three pages) shows a standard Feng Shui audit done by Geomancy.net. 2. If you take a careful look: of Boy 1 (son) and Boy 2 (another son); you will notice that individually, each has his own best colours. 3. And if both of them were to share a bedroom, you will also notice that the combined best colours are prepared for them. (Please see the extreme lower right side of the chart. 4. In Singapore, be careful of who you engage as many Singapore practitioners just do down to your home; some even go for one visit and verbally say this and that.. and left one wondering... your best colours are " da da da di di" and there are no proper layouts provided to the clients! 5. It is good to hear that Singapore is regulating Real Estate agents! Let's hope that Singapore also regulates Feng Shui practitioners. As even in Ba zi; you may get many practitioners that provide you with the wrong information!
  12. 1. In my opinion, it is always prudent to seek clarifications from your Feng Shui Master. 2. Usually; the individual person's ba zi is related to the Flying Star chart of each sector of a home. 3. For both husband and spouse; the binding element or the harmonous colours are selected for the two of them. Again, this is looked at in relation to the Flying Star sector(s). 4. Each individual family member's bedroom colours are looked at individually and again cross-referenced with the Flying Star Feng Shui. 5. Here, there are two levels of analysis: Flying Star Feng Shui (colour schemes) are associated with the "birth-chart" of a home. 6. Thus we, human beings have our birth-chart thus "ba zi"; the home has it's own "ba zi (via Flying star analysis). And these two are cross-referenced to come up with an accurate colour scheme for a home.
  13. 1. For larger areas (& rooms) it is strongly recommended to use the pie chart method. 2. If the two sets of Flying Stars span between two bedrooms:- 2.1. Visualise where is your bed and see which sets of flying star numbers falls within the majority of the bed and/or 2.2. If there are openings to the bedroom; consider which sets of stars covers especially the windows or any openings (doors or windows) that may be frequently-be-opened quite often. 3. Process of elimination Since both sets of flying stars:818 997 do not contain #5 nor #2 then it is safe to say that one does not have to worry about the bad earth #2 or #2 elements.
  14. Jon was a nice man. One day..he not only touched but also disturbed Tai Sui (Grand Duke of Jupiter)....
  15. Actually none! Especially if your boss has become your greatest enemy!
  16. 1. A mirror behind stove symbolises that a home has "Two stoves". 2. And under symbolism in Feng Shui; it implies that the a husband may have more than one partner! Good or bad one might ask? It depends on who you are referring to... hahahaha!
  17. Our property is on the market for nearly 4 years! We have been payment penalty interests (upon) interests to our bank! Why, why, why?
  18. 1. Usually an Feng Shui audit can determine what is the issue. 2. However, this goes beyond this forum. 3. Another aspect or (acceptable) alternative is perhaps to seek some form of professional counselling help as many of these issues are overlapped by Human or man luck factors... Corinne S. wrote: I am married 3 months ago (15 juni 2009) after living 7 years together. And suddenly his attitude has changed. My question is: was this the right time for me to take this decision. I have such bad feelings now about it and I wonder if there is a possibility to change my unhappines.
  19. The Chiltern Park condo at Serangoon Ave 3 has roofs that may pose as a poison arrow or sha qi to some units in The Springbloom condo facing these sharp roofs. Pictures were taken in the Chiltern Park condo a few months ago..
  20. 1. This is general knowlege for those who may not know what is "Traditional" and or "Simplied Chinese characters:- 2. The subject bring back much memories and I had mentioned this before:- 2.1. Many donkey years back in Singapore, I remembered when I was in Primary 1 to Primary 3. We were taught to write and speak "Traditional" Chinese characters. 2.2. When I was in Primary 3, suddenly, we were told to "switch" to simplied Chinese. Simplied Chinese uses both : Hanyu Pinyin (??????? / ?h?Z???) and simplied Chinese characters with shortform strokes. 2.3 Hanyin Pinyin is actually Romanized mandarin words. 3. And during that time, we had to learn basic Malay language. 4. In our home, we spoke both Hokkien, English and Mandarin. And on TV sets, Chinese shows are in Cantonese dialect. 6. Thus many of us are "bombarded" with languages:- - English (written and spoken) - Latin (we were introduced to latin - Catholic Schools) - Mandarin ( Traditional and simplified/romanized: written and spoken) - Family are Hokkiens so have to learn to speak Hokkien - Chinese TV shows are predominantly: Cantonese. - Had to understand popular dialects : Teochew language etc.. - Malay : as Singapore was part of Malaysia at that time - basic malay & TV shows are also in malay. 7. Just imagine, the amount of languages each of us have to absorb... then! (1960's onwards...)
  21. 1. Please note that authentic name analysis in the past is traditional Chinese characters NOT simplified characters. 2. Thus it is totally wrong to count strokes based on simplied Chinese characters. 3. Please try to "slow down" and check what before you input anything. For example, for this website, we have clearly stated that you should use western dates of birth to input into the system. T H. wrote: If the analysis is not as good, what would you do to improve it? Please note that this is a FREE GENERAL advise forum and not a we DO IT for you forum. What you are asking is SPECIFIC advise : not free.
  22. 1. Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia follows Beijing timing. Thus if it is 3.30pm in Singapore, in Beijing it is also 3.30pm. 2. You should be using the date that you are actually born in. 3. If you are using the free reports on this website; it is purposely made easy for anyone to input their real date of birth. Only after you input your real date of birth does it become converted into lunar date(s). 4. Therefore, if you input your lunar date, then, this is definitely wrong on this website. As the website clearly states to key in your western date of birth. 5. This applies for the entire: Geomancy.net websites including our Lovesigns.net.
  23. Some pictures of Botannia, at West Coast Park...
  24. Thanks to the MRT track, the large canal over the entrance of The Springbloom condo has now being covered - up. See picture...
  25. Precisely, the Flying star calculation is based on the assumption of "where is the most yang - qi or where qi would most likely come-into the home. It is looked at in terms of where is the "mouth" of the home. For example, if you have a habit of closing the main door and not leaving it open most of the time; then most likely qi or wind or air would not be able to enter thru this "opening or non-opening". In many instances, it is often where the ROW of the longest line of windows : often, msot likely may be the living room windows which shares the same windows as some of the bedroom.
