  1. Sorry this is only a Free General Advise forum. What you are asking is out of range of this forum: The test of posting to this forum is:Posting one'sDD/MM/YYYY of birth is already too specific to that person or individual. If so, it does not fall under GENERAL advice.
  2. In my opinion, frankly, there are too many variables to be considered and not within the scope of this Free General Advice Forum: 1. Feng Shui or Earth Luck of the individual person's home: analysis of problem areas and often disarming sectors with things like "#3 = quarrels, conflicts" and other inbalances; Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 2. Heaven Luck or Ba zi analysis of each individuals It is best that if you are pursuing it via Geomancy, perhaps may consider getting expert help in Malaysia?
  3. There is one commonsense concept which Shapes and Forms Feng Shui considers critical: "Bright Hall" or "Ming Tang". This simply means that if possible the area around the entrance (or facing direction) should have "clear unblocked space". This simply means that there is some lighting best would be natural lighting at the front area. Another purpose is to allow qi to collect within the area. Even if there are steps leading down but based on the vague info, you did mentioned that there is something like 2 metre space = which I attribute to some form of a "bright hall". Which is acceptable. Not the best, but may be acceptable. Contrast this to some old buildings where the 2nd and or 3rd storey is just one single straight staircase. In addition, if the home does have windows that filter light in; much the better.
  4. These are some considerations:- 1. Having the main door at either is like "the devil and the deep blue sea" or catch 22 senario. Anonymous wrote: Under Flying star Period 8, which is the better sector for placing the main door- S1 with M9 W7 B3 or SW(indirect spirit)with M7 W9 B5? 2. If given no choice or if was told "You have a gun placed on your head: tell me which is better"; then 3. I would RELUCANTLY choose S1with M9 W7 B3 instead of SW. The rationale? 3.1. It is safer to choose S1 given that it has "slightly" lesser "tantrum" stars now: #7 and #3. While SW is worse-off with thefive yellow#5 which in my opinion, may cause more problems when compared to S1 sector even after taking into consideration the indirect-water wealth spirit.
  5. These are some of the considerations:- 1. The plus points are that your home's ceiling is pretty high and equally the beam seems to be equally small in size when compared. 2. Thus most likely these beams are suppose to strengthen the ceiling and not to support a floor. 3. The difference here is that if the beams were to support a floor (loading) then it is of a greater concern as it is suppose to exert a greater"concentrated" force directly downwards. 4. Fortunately, as mentioned earlier; yours is merely a roof (or a supporting frame of sorts) for the roof. Thus, in addition to such a high roof-line; in my personal opinion is in-significant i.e. pose a minor threat if any. 5. The slant of the roof covering part of the bed is again not an issue. Cindy W. wrote: Hello, There are ceiling beams in my vaulted bedroom ceilings which we were told was there to help offset the bad chi from the corners of which the ceilings meet; could this be true? 6. "To help offset the bad chi from the corners of which the ceilings meet" should be taken with a "pinch of salt" i.e. in my personal opinion, un-substantiated or no pastprecedence of concern in Feng Shui.
  6. A man has his best friend. How about a boy? Does he have a best friend? What is this about undying love? Does this really happen?
  7. When I mean, use a quartz stone tied with red string; please don't literally, tie your partner up and wrap him with red rope, please
  8. These are some considerations:- 1. From the picture, the awnings are on the side and if the photo was taken directly, the more imposing issue is the triangular roof instead of the smaller awnings x 3.. 2. So long as the awning(s) does not directly face the windows e.g. if it is at the side much like this photo, then, frankly there is no cause for concern - if this is true. 3. I have seen worse "spikes" then the ones shown in your photo. 3.1 And in my opinion, due to the distance from say your home and the awnings and as the awnings are also small in size, I personally feel that they (spikes) don't pose a huge threat to your home. 3.2 Furthermore, if it does not face any of your openings directly.. it is not an issue. 3.3 "If it is not seen (or hardly be seen) - it no longer becomes a threat" e.g. drawing down the "day" curtains for windows is good enough.
  9. 1. Further to what I had mentioned; please take alook at this condo's trellis "spikes":- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=43&mid=25665&new= 2. Compared to your neigbor's multip awnings? Your neighbor's awnings are like "PUSSY cats". While the one featured with photos of the club-house are really imposing. 3. It is no big deal....
  10. You cannot simply use Feng Shui for every excuse! For example; it is lame for a barber to say " after cutting your hair, you will have better Feng Shui". What BULL! (bullshit)... Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. Cutting hair and feeling comfortable or feel good has more to do with one's self - man luck or human luck feel good factors.
  11. Feng Shui is all about water and mountain, right?
  12. This person is enjoying Quantum Leap in Feng Shui...
  13. Pictures were taken along Tanjong Pagar Plaza, Craig Road and finally from Neil Road. The Iconic Pinnacle at Duxton is truly imposing from almost anywhere! Last week I was in a new Tanjong Pagar Business tower, and yes; can literally "feel" the Pinnacle close-by...
  14. More pictures of the Phoo Thor Jee Temple...
  15. Pictures of The Phoo Thor Jee Temple: One thing for sure; in my opinion, this temple has one of the largest amounts of figurines outside the temple or literally "facing and greeting" people before they go into the temple. Furthermore, it has a pair of majestic smiling Qi Lin on both sides of the gate. And another pair of Big, strong Lion figurines, on the other side of another gate.
  16. Can you really visualise the beautiful smile from this Amara Singapore, Hotel, Lion?
  17. Again, if one looks carefully, this version is similar to the Tan Family type of smiling face Lion figurines
  18. In my opinion, the first thing that came into my mind is the "sharing of knowlege" or "learning". It is also about "growth". Growth can be a good or bad thing! For example: growth of good knowledge and knowledge that can be searched, viewed etc... Certain other "growth" e.g. child porno etc... Thus, I would generally consider the Internet industry as belonging to the "wood" element. Graphically, it is much like the roots of a plant or the structure of the brain... that sort of thing. Thus, the industry should in my opinion be of"wood element". While the people who maintains the structure is already defined mostly as belonging to the "water element" or "IT". People who "hack" into the internet may be considered as belonging to the "fire element". Anonymous wrote: Hi Mr Lee, May i know the Internet industry belongs to which element? We are providing a service, using Internet as the medium. It is the main part of the service. Thank you
  19. Logically, if it is a "new" as in brand new home; there is no issue with construction be it good or bad sectors. Thus if you really mean NEW; then a newly built home from scratch is a very common thing: For example, someone booked a terrace home and it is under construction and have not even moved in yet. Is this is a case of over-reacting? Move-in procedures can be found under this url: http://info.geomancy.net and the usual practise of selecting a good date to move-in. For the Chinese, they don't really like to move in on the lunar 6th month; 7th month and the month of the Qing Ming also. Anonymous wrote: It is impossible to avoid bad sectors during renovation of a new house. Renovation started in Nov 2009 and finished in June 2010 but yet to move in. Plse advise what could be done during or before moving in, sometime in Sept 2010. Much tks
  20. These are some of the considerations:- 1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1.1 Try not to seat prolonged facing the "sunlight". For example, the office / room is bathed by the afternoon sun. And one's table is facing this sunlight. 1.2 Many people feel uncomfortable sitting with one's backtowards an opening e.g.the door or, doorof an attached toilet or a window. 1.3 Avoid working at a "dead corner" or a location that there is no air-flow especially if one does not turn on the fan or air-con. 1.4 Avoid seating next to or sharing the same wall as the stove or the toilet bowl wall - if possible. 2. Compass School Feng Shui 2.1. Eight Houseanalysis: if possible or NICE-to-have seat facing one's good direction e.g. "Prosperity" direction and/or "Excellent" direction. 2.2.If possible check the20 Year Flying Star numbersof that specific sector and apply some "cures" or "enhancement"appropriately.
  21. Yes, this is a pretty common senairo for many apartments. Anonymous wrote: Hi there, I have the same issue where the front door is directly aligned with the back sliding door but my property is a condo and will be too small to put up a screen or partition; is there anything else that can be done? Perhaps with the use of crystals? Thank you! Often, these are the common senarios:- 1. Often, we can draw "down" the curtain. And the curtain can act as a partial screen. 2. If it is a sliding door, then, slide the fixed panel towards the side directly facing the main door. 3. If we have a tall cabinet e.g. a tall tv cabinet. This is a plus point.
  22. 1. Please use the FREE auspicious dates report for the next 30 days at this url:- http://dates.geomancy.net 2. Information on procedures for move-in (Move-in ritual)can also be found under this url:- http://info.geomancy.net or http://www.geomancy.net/info/move-in.pdf
  23. More pictures of the two beautiful smiling Qi Lin's outside the gate of this magnificent Thian Hock Keng Temple at Telok Ayer Street. Again, even the temples places symbolic smiing animals guarding it. Not those fierce looking ones. The qi lin on the right side always have the largest smile
  24. Further to what I had mentioned about the Qilin On House Lamp Post Location: The Tan family resident (next door to) the new development that had just TOP: Jewel @ Chuan Hoe The above Tan family residence uses a similar pair of Qi Lin (Chi lin) of the Thian Hock Keng Temple located at Telok Ayer Street. Notice the Qi Lin's smile? The one that always have the largest smile is on the right side (when standing facing the qi lins).
