Dear Amelia, Please see attachment - same illustration. Here, you must find out whether the sharp edge of the other building is "really" aimed at your unit or not. And if it does, where is it aimed at? In the attached example, it is aimed at the centre bedroom, thru the windows. A convex mirror can be placed, as shown to deflect the sha-qi. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cah, 1. Both Eight House and Flying star belongs to the : Compass School of Feng Shui. 2. Ask yourself: What is the underling difference between Eight House and Flying Star? 3. YES/NO? Cannot think of a difference? 4. How about Time dimension? 5. The clue, here is that the Eight House is a STATIC model. Where else Flying Star : 20 year; Yearly, Monthly, Hourly is based on slightly more dynamic time factor. 6. From the above, try to imagine for yourself which is more dominant? A dynamic system or a static system? I don't want to say further. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Cahaya H. wrote: Dear Cecil, According to eight house concept, south east sector is a wealth sector and need to activate. If at this sector we found star #2 and #5, is it still auspicious to activate this sector, with water ? Which concept more dominan, Eight house or flying star ? Regards, Cahaya Harapan

Dear Cah, So far, this combination of stars happen to be under the 20 Year Flying Star, Period 8, West 2 & 3. The entire story, here is that under P8, West 2 & 3; unfortunately sector NW has this MS 7 WS 9 and BS 9. Thus it is NOT exactly true to say that this is a location where we can enhance. BUT rather, a location that we SHOULD neutralise bad stars. Why? #9 or the purple star 9 is = Fire element And in addition to this, this sector has twice the number of #9's (x 2) Furthermore, the combination of MS7 with WS9 reacts resulting in sexual problems. Thus, you or the Master is correct to try to introduce "Water" into the sector. Water can help to drown or reduce the double #9. Furthermore, NW belongs to the Heaven trigram and also belongs to the Head of the House sector. If we do not drown this sector with water or alternatively introduce "earth", it will be very inauspicious to the Head of the House. In addition, it is very, very inauspicious for the kitchen to be located in the NW. "Fire-at-heaven's gate". Thus activating water feature is only as it seems "half the story". In this example, we have to not only look blindly at all the three variables MS# WS# B# but which sector it is located. And which part of our home it has landed into. One also cannot activate a water feature if it is especially the kitchen area. But may have to introduce colours or "earth" to that sector as an alternative "cure". Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Cahaya H. wrote: Dear Cecil, Some master said, activate your water star #9 in period 8 and you will get unexpected wealth, is it true ? Let say, MS 7 WS 9 and BS 9. Activate this sector with water feature is auspicious. Regards, Cahaya Harapan

1. We always hear: Location, location, location. 2. Thus the most important consideration is the location : The Landscape, The Site, The Building andthen the interior. 3. The rich gets richer because thecan afford to buy homes that have good Feng Shui. And in the past, I have mentioneda term called "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui. 4. Here, many rich people can buy property(ies) and either these properties are already good and in addition, these homes can "suck" wealth from neighbours. It is not like you can callreport itas arobbery. You can't. 5.For example, in an estate whereall the homes are "earth like" e.g. rectangular etc... A person can actually build a building inthe wood element .. Under the Five elements concept, this home is able to suck wealth from neighbouring buildings. I have posted quite a few examples in the past... 6. Many people have a misleading understanding of Shapes and Forms vs Flying Star Feng Shui. Both are equally important! 7. The main difference has more to do with us human beings and our perception than whether Shapes and Forms or Flying star is the better choice. 8. For example: all of us are either "left or right" brain inclined. Some of us fair better at the spatial or cognitive area. While others are more "mathematically" inclined. 9. Thus, we often see many scholars... those who fair better in the arts than science .. may go to ivy league school like Harvard e.g. lawyers, human resource, behaviour management courses. While those who are mathematically inclined, may go to Berkley or MIT etc.. 10. Thus for some who are more mathematically inclined.. if you tell them "from a shapes and forms" persepective that the landscape has a wealth sector due to its form.. this person.. cannot imagine it. But if you tell this person : Hey! This frontage has a double #8 combined auspicious current prosperity star! He will see it clearer! 11. Recently, I have posted an example of a House Hunting Sample Report under Period 7 for a sample male person. You can check out this report to better understand the relationship of Kua / Eight House in relation to how Flying Star is integrated into this report. 12. This House Hunting Report is a fine example of the balance of comparing each 15 degree flying star sector vs each person's kua number and how, many use it to find a better home. 13. Shapes and Forms for a landed property include things like where the drainage flows out of the home etc... this comes under the Water Dragon classics. There are of course many other considerations for buying a home... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Surprisingly, in the many years of practising Feng Shui, locally in Singapore, 20 to 30 percent of existing homes have either toilet above a kitchen or between kitchen / dining area. Frankly, it has more to do with "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui than actual issues. Many toilets (today and even in the past) have water proofing done for the entire toilet. If so, 90 percent of all one's worries are gone! (or disappear!) The other major issue is to look out for the plumbing or those "U" troughts or piping relating to sewerage movement and or the pipes that drain the toilet of water. So long as these pipes are (under Feng Shui) not directly above a STOVE or if possible kitchen work-top or area, it is perfectly acceptable. It is obvious that should there be a leak in the piping, all the "sewerage" or dirty water will immediately fall towards that specific area. And under Feng Shui, it is inauspicious to have sewerage piping above the stove (full stop). To be honest, if we want convenience "upstairs" e.g. each bedroom has an attached toilet or many shared toilets, then we have to live with it. That is why, it is always good to look and re-look toilet positions especially where we site our toilet bowl in a home. Where possible, for a NEW home or homes that are undergoing Additional Renovation works, should try to have the toilet bowl piping sharing an EXTERNAL wall. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

Dear Cah, 1. The main concern here is that #9 is a fire element. Or some call it the purple star. Where purple is also the colour of fire element. 2. In many previous messages regarding Flying Star; especially taking into consideration the 20 Year Flying star : where there are three variables: Mountain# ; Water# and Base# 2.1 Again, we must look at all these three variables in order to see whether #9 as a Water star "can be enhanced or not". 2.2 Under Period 8, even for comparing just the Mountain# with Water#; there are lots of instances where there are MS#5 with WS#9 and worse many sectors have Base#2 or #5. In this case, unfortunately, insteadof enhancing #9.. one must try to neutralise such sets of #9 inflaming or fuelling #5 or #2. 2.3 In another instance: Mountain star #4 with Water star #9 and Base star #4;In this example, activate a mountain star in this sector toboostthe "water-star #9" future prosperity (or distant) luck. 3. For those who have little/poor or limited understanding of the Five elements concept with Flying star numbers may have difficultyinterpreting how a#9 fire element interacts with the water star. 4. Thus under thiscurrent Period 8: where the wealth stars are: #8 earth element (current prosperity) #9 fire element (future or distant prosperity) #1 water element(future, future or very distant prosperity) 5. Frankly, many people also be stumped by #1 being a water element found on the Mountain star side! 6. Under Period 9 Again it will be trickly for some people to interpret or use #9 as that period's current prosperity star as it is a fire element. And #1 also. If one has sound or solid foundation, should able to work out proper solutions (if any). Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Is it auspicious to activate water star #9 ?

Dear Anon, The easiest way to classify is to focus on two things: 1. The Industry and it's element 2. Job Scope and it's element 1. The Industry 1.1 For example, as you have mentioned, car industry can be broadly classified as "metal" because majority e.g. especially most car's outer shell is made of steel or alluminium and majority of cars have a high percentage of metal parts. Even tempered glass, because of it's high density is considered as a metal element. 1.2 Generally, the industry that BUILD's ship is also considered under the METAL industry especially for ocean or cargo or oil tankers or freight carriers. Since many of the commercial ships are made largely with steel hulls, etc... 1.3 But a specialist ship builder of some luxury private ships may contain hull made of wood and many interior designs largely of wood. With equal amount of metal. Thus, this builder can be considered as belonging to the Metal-cum-Wood industry. 2. Job Scope: 2.1 Since you specialize in handling car shipments, thus your KEY strengths are: 2.1.1. Wood 2.1.2 Fire Co-ordination, planning and scheduling has much go to do with the wood element. This would be the main job scope. Partially, you may also be doing "selling or marketing" when you handle clients needs for shipping cars. 3. A ship on water does not mean directly that it has to belong to the water element unless one can find a link, here. If the ship has a bar or beverage outlet selling water or drinks than the person working as a bar tender may be considered as the water element. Quote: I am thinking of setting up a Nail salon.Beauty line is under Water, does it mean Nail bar/salon is also under Water element? 4. It is not wrong to consider say Beauty INDUSTRY overall under water. In some beauty industry that is selling botttled mixtures of beauty products may even be considered as Fire element as these beauty products contain specialised chemicals e.g. face whitening gel etc... 5. If your MAJOR job scope in a nail salon is to create beautiful art on the fingers or "heal" the fingers nails etc.. then you can still be considered as the Wood element. 6. Actually I should not be "talking" so much! GO WITH YOUR FEEL! For example, many people have started as a hobby and made it their livelyhood! For example, last year, this person, in Singapore mentioned that she started an organic store .. for "health" reasons... and so forth! If we treat our work as a hobby, work and play is so much fun! For business, one has to look at it from a business perspective! If the business model is no good, no matter how one wants to make a livelyhood.. also cannot. For example, in Singapore, several years back, some FOOLs asked me to Feng Shui their "Lohan" fish shop... I told them forget it... selling such fishes are a fad.. Again, several years back, many people opened "Bubble Tea" shops in Singapore! Again, I told don't waste my time! Anyone with some capital can set up such shops. And in Singapore, there is no habit to drink such sweet and cold drinks! For those who want to start up a business, good to read up Michael Porter.. and his "Five Forces" concept... etc... Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Hi, I got a list from a fengshui consultant with me but am confused abt shipping. I am in freight forwarding company and I specialize in handling car shipments. I am under the weak fire element. According to the list, I will benefit from jobs under Wood, Fire and Metal. a) Car industry belongs to the metal element. Transport belongs to Wood element but shipping which is associated with ships on sea be under WATER element (which is really bad for me)?? b) I am thinking of setting up a Nail salon.Beauty line is under Water, does it mean Nail bar/salon is also under Water element? c) Is clothings, shoes and bagsboutique business good for me?

Dear Xenia, To be honest, with limited information available, it is difficult to comment based strictly on Feng Shui concepts/principles or issues with it. In general, for a large bedroom, a sink is acceptable (especially nowadays, many modern homes have an attached bathroom but in addition, these larger homes with larger bathrooms have a wash or powder room type of area. In fact, it is very common to find even single storey homes with the bedroom at the frontage area of the home. Try to make the home as comfortable as possible for yourself and family members! Usually, for an old home, a fresh coat of paint, would be nice to refresh the home. And avoid too much clutter, also. Warmest Regards, Cecil Xenia S. wrote: I am going to move house soon, and apparently it is a very old house, the bedroom I will have to use is quite large, and it contains a sink! I am worried about the effects the sink may have on my health and wellbeing according to feng shui, as it would seem to be ?draining? energy. What can I do, or what cure can I use to fix this problem?

Dear Ang, Please take note that even for a Period 7 apartment or home. Where some books may say double 7 is good in Period 7. However, we are now in Period 8 (2004 onwards). Thus under Period 8: #7 = PAST prosperity #8 = Current prosperity ( usually between 0 to 2 years luck period) #9 = Future prosperity (usually between 2 to 5 years luck period) #1 = Future, future prosperity (5 to 10 year luck period) For info, the double #7's are past prosperity. AND #7's has turned bad i.e. "theft of luck - robbery star - or simply luck aways pass-by". Thus a Period 6 home with double #6 is also, forgone prosperity or past prosperity. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anthony, Like mathematics, the 20 Year Flying Star has three variables, quickly it is the Mountain star, Water and Base star. And primarily when we engage a Feng Shui practitioner to look into the home, he/she will work out the Feng Shui qi based on these three variables. Since it makes sense that even for a Period 7 apartment, the qi will be based on this 20 Year Flying Star. Since the home is still considered as a Period 7, one has to use this as a BASE. If you are able to look at it under the Year star, then in general one should be careful of sectors like South (where the annual Five Yellow) is. In general, so even if South has good 20 Year Stars, as you have mentioned such as Mountain Star 1,Water Star 8, but you did not mention what is the star for base. You still have to look at all these three variables. Supposing if the Base star is another 8, and the annual star is #5: the more concern is the monthly star also in that sector. Thus 20 Year MS1, WS 8, Base 8, Annual 5 but monthly star is #6 you don't need to do anything. But if the monthly star is also #5 in that sector than one can place a cure for #5 for that sector. Thus, Annual star along is just one variable. The 20 year has 3 variables. The monthly is also another variable. For those who are Flying Star frantics may also consider the Day star or (to be abit crazy - consider the hourly star). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear San, 1. Sorry, I could not view the link despite cut-paste the link. 2. Actually, it is very common especially for landed properties to have bed-head resting against the window. 3. Locally in Singapore, it is also common to find some people sleep with the bedhead against the window in particular if it is landed property especially if the window bay is well shielded especially from the rain. Or shielded from heavy winds during heavy rain fall with strong gust of wind. 4. Thus, try not to be mistaken that it is "no good" to sleep with bed-head against the window especially if it is a bay window. 5. The concern is meant more for high rise living. For example, in Singapore; both private and public housing: there are many instances where: inconsiderate directly higher floor may throw down a cigarette or the danger of placing a bed so close to the window; and the concern of a young child climbing out of the window. In addition, many of these apartments do not have good window ledge to protect the room from strong winds. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. It is best to simply cover the big statue (if you can) rather than building a podium. 2. A simple solution is to use any clean bedsheet to cover it from top to bottom. 3. It is good to have a clean and bright room. If your room has a window, it is best to allow as much natural light into the house. 4. Usually, by moving in, for a few days, the vibes of the old tenants should be cleared. Unless, there are very old antique furnitures. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, So far, so long as the specific site has properly converted mother's western date of birth to lunar calendar, you can then use it to "predict" a baby's gender. However, there is a question mark - personally have not fully reviewed the accuracy of the model as to whether there is a need to further fine-tune your date and time of birth towards Beijing time or not. In such a situation; could result in either baby being considered as a boy or girl. Thus the two major considerations are: 1. Convertmother's date of birth to lunar. 2. Have to guess whether or not to fine-tuneone's date of birth. If so, again there are so many variations. As it is not so simple to covert time based on GMT timing. For example, in Singapore, previously a few decade ago we changed our GMT timing to follow Malaysia and it happens to coincide with Hong-Kong-Beijing timing. In US, there is also the day-light hours etc.. In this modern age; best to consult own doctor... and use methods like ultra-sound etc... instead Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Yes, since 5 represents the floor level, you should enter it as #05-xxx. If your unit happens to be#05-01 (where 5 represents the level) and each of the units in a block are : 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 then should enter the numbers thus as #05-01. Alternatively, if your unit does not follow the above number arrangements then you may have to enter it as #05-501. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Traditionally in Feng Shui, a work or study direction(s) depends on one's date of birth. For example, Male, Mr Sample Ficitious Person born on 19 December 1975 at 11.30am:- Work Position Report This report is generated for: Sample Ficitious Person Gender: Male Conversion of Date of Birth: Solar Calendar: 19 Dec 1975 between 11.00 a.m. to 12.59 p.m. Lunar Calendar: 1975, 11th month, 17 day, between 11.00 a.m. to 12.59 p.m. Please check that the above details are correct before proceeding. Otherwise, please correct it before reading the analysis. About Work Position This report is based on the principles of Eight House, and it helps you identify the best study position for you. These are analysis which suits you. This report is usually used in conjunction with a more comprehensive theory using 24 directions (Flying Star Report) that helps you access any potential problem which might exist in this sector. Your BEST work position Direction: North-West Exact Degree: 292.5 to 337.4 Description: This is your Prosperity direction. Direction: West Exact Degree: 247.5 to 292.4 Description: This is your Excellent direction. Your GOOD work position Direction: North-East Exact Degree: 22.5 to 67.4 Description: This is your Longevity direction. Direction: South-West Exact Degree: 202.5 to 247.4 Description: This is your Health direction. Your BADwork position Direction: South Exact Degree: 157.5 to 202.4 Description: This is your Spook direction. Direction: South-East Exact Degree: 112.5 to 157.4 Description: This is your Irritation direction. Your WORSTwork position Direction: North Exact Degree: 337.5 to 22.4 Description: This is your Disaster direction. Direction: East Exact Degree: 67.5 to 112.4 Description: This is your Death direction. 2. In the above, example, it is "NICE-TO-HAVE" this person facing NW or West as his best work or study directions. Quote: Also the desk has an attached shelf on it, which can be dettached if necessary. I read that having a shelf over the desk is not good in fengshui, would like to know if having shelf on the desk is ok or not in fengshui. 3. Some Feng Shui books say that open bookshelfs with books in it is like knives or poison arrows. 3.1 In fact, in "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui; many of us, when young do have open bookselves or simply books even placed on our study table. But many of us don't have or cannot recall having any issues with it. 3.2 More importantly, open bookselves encourage us to quicky pick up a book to read or refer to. 3.3 I would strongly encourage, those who have young children to have open bookselves especially just around arm's length. This is especially true for school going children; where often, their "semester" books or reference books are within their finger tips. Make it more conducive to study; then to have to open and close a cupboard or slide a cupboard door. 3.4 As mentioned, above, many of us have done it : have open bookselves". Not just because, someone writes that it is bad to have open shelves, we then don't keep up with it. 3.5 Fine, for books that we hardly refer to, if you want to keep it in a cupboard that has doors - go ahead. But for frequently accessed books or materials open bookshelves are fine. Quote: Considering the bagua map, the computer desk is placed in wealth and prosperity area of the living room(fame and reputation area of the house). But the desk is in straight line with the main door of the house as shown in the attachment. I read that the desk should not be placed across the door, would like to know if the above mentioned placement could cause any problems. If there is a poblem,is there any simple way of rectifying like placing something between the desk and the main door. The only other option i have is to place it in the relationship area of the room(as well as the home). 4. Sorry, the "fixed" template type of Ba Gua is not used in this website. As it is not authentic Feng Shui. Such as "fame and reputation" etc... 5. Under traditional Feng Shui, it would be nice for (in this example) this person sits in a west group location and if possible face the west group directions. For example, it would be GOOD if this person, sits in a NW or West or NE or SW location in a home and again nice to have him face a good westerly direction especially NW or West since these two sectors are his : Prosperity / Excellent directions. Quote: I read that the desk should not be placed across the door, would like to know if the above mentioned placement could cause any problems. 6. Thanks for your layout plan. So long as the computer table is not placed with one's back against the main door, this current position, under Shapes and Forms is still OK or acceptable especially if one does not have another better location than this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mr Ang, In this sample report (broken into two parts); you will get a glimpse of how in this sample illustration a person: Male, Mr Fictitious Richard Peterson who is a west group person, actually is house hunting. For him, he is considered as a west group person and he is house hunting for a Period 7 home (1984 to 2003). In this sample report, under Part 1, you will find a sample of Flying Star direction and how suitable is that direction to Mr Ficitious Richard Peterson. In the second part, (SEE BELOW) you will see a break down of recommendations for him or Excellent homes, Auspicious homes based on the facing direction and his being a west group person. Excellent directions are: NW2 (307.5-322.4) , NW3 (322.5-337.4) , NE2 (37.5-52.4) , NE3 (52.5-67.4) , SW1 (202.5-217.4) , SW2 (217.5-232.4) , SW3 (232.5-247.4) , NW1 (292.5-307.4) Please see attachment for Part I. In part 1 you will notice e.g. NW2 home : there is some significance under Flying Star for that sector. IN ADDITION: The clue is that based on Flying Star, this home is not auspicious. But since MrFictitious Richard is a west group person, well this homeSTILL suits him although the flying star is not as good Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hurbert, 1. Under Traditional Chinese system:- Ba Zi is used to determine name selection. For example, if a person lacks water... a geomancer may recommend that the person have a Chinese character with the "water or shui" element in their name. In addition, Ba Zi is used widely to determine Ming or Luck and other uses includes logo selection etc.. Ba Zi uses the Five Elements Concept to determine one's element and strength e.g. strong water, weak water etc... In addition, when we look at a home we apply Compass School of Feng Shui: Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. Purple star is actually "9" numbers or commonly called "9 Star Ki. It has more to do with Flying Star Feng Shui as Flying Star uses the 9 stars. 3. The origins of Purple star or 9 Star Ki came from China and went to Japan in ancient times. And the Japanese widely pratice 9 Star Ki. 4. In recent times e.g. 1980's you get British practitioners who learn 9 star ki mostly from Japan. For the Chinese, we use bazi to determine one's name. But do you hear of any British or Japanese use 9 Purple to select a name? Especially a Chinese name? Yes /No? 5. Thus Hurbert, please do consider where Ba Zi originates and where Purple star originates. For you to make your own conclusion. Authentic Traditional Geomancy sites, like Geomancy.net practises STRICLY Traditional Chinese methods and origins. Do consider where 9 star ki " purple star" arrived in and adopted by some country e.g. Japan and practised by Westerners especially the "Englishman." In my opinion, 9 star ki is one and the same as Flying Star. Yet, Flying Star is not even one-half of our Chinese traditional ba zi nor zi wei tou shou or astrology. I believe, in the past, manyJapanese and Westerners may not be too conversant with Yin/Yang and Five elements but9 star ki seems so..soo easy as it based purely on numbers 1 to 9. Under the Holy Trinity of (Chinese) Luck: 1. Heaven Luck 2. Earth Luck 3. Human Luck Ba Zi falls under Heaven Luck. Thus even for a new born Chinese, it is critical for some parents to get the baby name correct based on one's bazi. Earth Luck or Feng Shui. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and Compass School : Eight House and Flying Star. Human Luck. Family relationship, relationship with parents etc... You decide for yourself... i.e. you want to adopt or apply something that is directly comes from ancient China or something that comes in a circle : originate from China to Japan and now (UK)? Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, The most effective placement of such stones (which are object of mass) can be at locations where The Flying Stars are Mountain Star #8 sector(s). Or especially if the sector has mountain star #1. Not ideal to place it at sectors that have Water Star #1 or Water Star #8. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I bought5 beautiful stone ignots from Mongolia, each representing the 5 elements. Dear Shauuna, The alternative to "such a complicated" situation is to look to the basics of Chinese principles or concepts:. Most of the time, when we start reading books on Chinese principles and concepts, we will always find:- Uppermost level: Taichi Upper (branch) level : Yin and Yang concept Lower (branch) level: The Five elements concept. What you are trying to "meddle" or "fine tuning" is under the Five elements concept. In a "very complicated" case or sometimes we humans make it so..so ...so complicated... that doing something will impact on the other. Such as... "but I'm afraid that will boost the 9 giving fuel to the 5." There are two possibilities:- 1. Why make it so complicated? Thus try to look for an answer "one level" or "branch" higher i.e. Yin and Yang concept. If you have a "low consumption" bulb or light at that sector, turn it on especially in the night forroughly 6 or 8 hours a day. This is to make the sector more "yang" qi. 2. Is it possible to introduce all 5 elements at this sector? e.g. in terms of colours or objects. For example, if you have a painting or poster that hasmulti colours e.g. Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red and White or metallic... would equallybe good enough. Either para 1 or 2 above are acceptable in such a complicated "mess". Warmest Regards, Cecil
-
Dear Anon, Given that the sector has #5 misfortune /sickness (strong erth) and an additional #2 sickness (strong earth); first priority is to fix the problem, first, then to enhance. Thus, try to see any other sectors that one can enhance instead of getting into - more complications. What about water star #8, if another sector has it and if it is possible to enhance this, then concentrate more on the other sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Robert Lee, I have the following question: In the year 2008 we have the year star #8 (Earth) in the East and I would like to enhance it because it is an auspicious star. Dear Anon, Orange colour because of it's close resemblance to literally an "orange" or a "mandarin" orange is considered as "gold" colour. And gold belongs to the range of metal elements. Thus, painting it orange, would be bright and colourful! More importantly, many toilets are in enclosed area and often not well lit. Thus, especially if we do have elderly at home or youngsters, it is still good to go for light pastel colours in a toilet. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Is it advisable to paint the bathroom orange if it is in the NE sector of the home? Is it OK to use the enhancing color of orange in the NE earth sector when it is the bathroom, or is it best to use the destructive cycle when choosing colors for a bathroom? I do want to boost the energy for education, knowledge and mentoring. Thanks!

Dear Anon, Once we (personally)find that a name has a "flaw", we should try to skip using the name unless it was given to us (usually) by our parents/grand parents. Thus, there are so many Chinese characters and it is always easy to find a name that may "suit" us. Quote: Anonymous wrote: What kind of meaning name "sinan" may have? As far as I know Sinan means "missing south" in Chinese.
