  1. Dear Elizabeth, Thanks for the sketch. Based on your description, below, if your bed is a single bed, it looks OK to have the bed between bedroom door and closet door. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: One of my best directions to sleep in is South or South - East. If I move my bed to that direction, is it ok if the bed is between the bedroom's door and the bedroom's closet door and a window?
  2. Dear Anon, I believe many of us really sympathise with you on your situation. However, I sincerely belief, Feng Shui has no answer to this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

    2008

Dear Anon, Please refer to the following link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2008.htm Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at North-West Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at South Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at West Education/Romance Star this year is at North-East Grand Duke this year is North, 0 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is South. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. For 2008, avoid both North and South as mentioned, above. This year 5 yellow also happens to be at South. Thus, especially for North and South, avoid renovations at this two locations. Quote: Anonymous wrote: 3. 4. Dear Amelia, Sorry, not sure what you meant that you should have your dining table at the centrepoint of the home. A dining table need not necessarily be or (must or even nice to have) located at the centrepoint of the home. In many homes: for the living/dining room area: we first need to locate the actual location of the living room. After doing so, the next area to allocate is the dining table.Again, it may not be atthe centrepoint of the home. In Commonsense Approach to Feng Shui, the toilet: Whenever we flush the toilet bowl, minutewater droplets or sprays will fly all over the place. (Usually it containssome germs). Thusif we have the toilet doordirectly facing thedining table, we try not to enrich our food with such"unseen" minute water droplets from the toilet. If one intends to place the dining table next to the toilet door, the best approach is to close the toilet door when not in use. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  5. Dear Amelia, Gua [Kua] numbers (or commonly known as Eight House or Ba Cai Feng Shui belongs to the Compass School of Feng Shui. Both Gua (Kua) and Flying Star belongs to the Compass School of Feng Shui. Frankly, there are quite alot of resources in this site as well as I believe many other sites on it. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: amelia seah wrote: Does the Kua number works with the Flying star or both latter works independently. I would like to know the flying star but how does this work?
  6. Dear Elizabeth, Is it possible for you to draw a simple sketch of the proposed layout of the bedroom. In terms of Feng Shui, it is best not to sleep with one's legs facing the bedroom door. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  7. Dear Jacquie, Please see attachment. Not sure, if you have explored this possibility. Frankly, have not checked to see if it faces NE or not. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  8. The most popular method is to check with the individual which is their "writing" hand. Majority are either right or left handed. But there are some who when young writes with their left hand but were "forced" to use their right hand. For these people, should or may consider their left hand instead. The rationale is that if we are right handed, this is most likely the hand that will reveal our characteristics, health etc.. While the left hand will be the hand that "shows our desires, wishes... etc.." Since your EX has a deep line, and several small ones... most likely his involvement with you was "deep". However, the lines often change (especially) add on.. in a few years as these lines don't always remain the same.
  9. Dear Karen, The kindergarten method is to place a crystal at the SW = romance corner (of a room or house). Sometimes, by coincidence this matches the "romance" sector of the home. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, in general, and specifically the 20 Year Flying Star Feng Shui:- MS # WS # Base # If you seek help from a Feng Shui practitioner, most likely the practitioner will advise to activate MS # especially if is #8 or #9 Where MS#8 = networking, relationship luck. The above example is very general but give an idea as a proper Flying Star analysis of a given sector includes looking at all the relationships of MS# with WS# with base #. Here, there is a higher change of getting romance, by applying the 20 Year Flying Star Feng Shui, vs trial and error or kindergarten Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  10. Dear Anon, Welcome to the forum! To be honest, crystals are modern invention. For us Chinese, just imagine a generation earlier or a few generations, back! There is no such thing as crystals! In general, man made crystals only appear in my opinion, in recent times (may be 30 years or later). Under the Holy Trinity of Luck:- a. Heaven Luck - Is based on when we are born and our luck or our destiny from that day b. Earth Luck - Feng Shui of a home or office c. Human Luck - In the past, human luck does not really costs any monetary value. But, with so many people, using our feelings to get us to buy products in the "name-of-Feng Shui". Usually most products are cheap to produce and have very high mark-up! So guess who earns most of our hard earned money. Thus, if one wants to purchase a crystal, do it, for the "feel good" or for some decorating a dull room for example. But logically, if your room is already dark, I cannot imagine how a normal crystal can suddenly turn into a glowing crystal or reflect light unless there is either a natural source of light or artificial ones that concentrates light into the crystal to bring all sorts of rainbow colours. Truly, if you feel great about, it will boost the human factor and enhance your room. I believe another alternative is to use flouresent lighting which nowadays, can brightly light up a dark room. Thus, in conclusion, buy a crystal if you like it but not for the sake of Feng Shui. As these are commercial products, that's it. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Hello! I'm new here.. and just wanted advice on hanging crystals. 11. I will only clarify a few points. As this is not what the purpose of the forum is about. 1. For a Strong wood person, the existing green logo on it's own is considered not suitable for a Strong Wood person. 2. However, a squarish logo represents Earth element. And under the Productive Cycle of the Five Elements concept: Earth supports or help Metal (in particular weak metal grow) 3. In addition, for a Strong Wood person, I don't see what's wrong with using a squarish logo. As Square logo represents Earth. And imagine a strong tree with strong roots; which digs into the earth to get nurishment. 4. Orange under Chinese culture belongs to the metal element. As the phonetic sound-like "gold". For example, Cantonese dialect group call mandarin or an orange " Kum " and in addtion the Hokkien dialect group call it "Kim" which in Hokkien is gold. Thus, soon, when the Chinese New Year comes, many youngsters would visit elderly relatives or their parents home by bringing a pair of "kum" or "kim". Two or a pair is considered auspicious and orange since it is considered as gold - should be considered as belonging to the metal element. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  12. Dear Chua, Yes, according to Palm reading, it may show "how many serious relationships" one has. However, for most of us, there are often either 1, 2 or 3 or 4 lines - depending on the individual. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  13. Dear Shaunna, To be honest, thanks for effort to try to describe the landform. As you had wrote somewhere, below ".. I can't really figure out... " Too many wordy descriptions ... unable to comprehen.. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Shaunna Repa wrote: Our landforms are difficult to decifer. Then there's a retention pond in the center of the subdivision two streets away in front of my house and a major highway even further away in front of my house so I can't really figure out if these are useable formations or not. We also have a pool in the SW sector of the backyard that gets taken down for the winter and a big boulder the builder left in the SE area at the corner of the garage. Are these useable formations? If not, what to do if surrounding land is mostly flat plains? Shaunna
  14. Dear Anon, Most likely, your friend or friend's family don't have any elderly in need of aid such as wheelchair bound or walking stick! In addition, some elderly or even those who may have some illness such as diabetes that may need to go toilet often. Tell them to "enjoy" walking up and down the home. In addition, for us Chinese, we do cook alot : lots of wet ingredients. Tell it to us, to first bring up our marketing items.. hopefully prawns don't leak it's contents on the walkway etc... Later, need to dispose of it. Don't get me wrong, I like the "idea". But. as especially for the Chinese, many of us live with our parents, especially to look after them. Not to "torture" them! Thus, perhaps, for some cultures, where no elderly stays with them (or even babies that one day will crawl - between 1, 2 to 3 years old). From another point of view, it is good ifone does not intend to have the elderly interect in the living room. They will be much confined to their four walls! Is this good? Let's imagine! Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: he reasons that this type of design is more fucnttional as most comfort rooms are in the ground floor(avoid leaks), kitchen on second floor getsbetter ventilation, living & dining room also gets more natural light in the day.
  15. Dear Lip Seong, 1. Sorry to learn about your situation. 2. Your landed property seems to be a terrace "type of home" where qi enters from either North "backyard" area or South "frontage". 3. In general, based on my quick look at your layout plan:- As qi comes into your home from either North or South, unfortunately, under current Period 8, this North sector or the back of your home is influenced by :- MS #7 with WS #7 and Base = #3 In general, Flying star is based on qi flow and unfortunately, there are double #7 which under this current period is "theft-loss of wealth" sector influenced by bad #3 = career / romance / issues 4. Thus, to "plug this leak" coming from the back, try to use constant metal e.g 6 hollow rod windchime at the back yard of the home. This constant metal will help to neutralise the bad double #7 with bad #3. 4. Usually even with a Period 7, home, one can still benefit with water position at SW sector (which is the indirect -wealth luck - water wealth location) But have to control "roving eyes" issue, here. 5. Even if you have the stove moved away from the NW = Fire at heaven's gate, try to check that under this Sector in particular avoid placing items such as conventional ovens or toasters at this sector. As this NW under the ba gua is the Heaven's tigram and NW = head of the house. 6. In particular, you also have I belive extremely bad MS#5 with WS#9 and Base #5 at the East or the staircase landing area. If possible try to use another constant metal e.g 6 hollow rod windchime or a chiming clock close that area. 7. Other common problems include, where the drainage exits from your property towards outside drainage. These are some of my initial observations. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: tan lip seong wrote: Ok, a little about what happen after i move in to this house jan 2007. in work, i face lot of pressure, and i was ask to leave but i refuse, the company terminate me in May and i file a complain with Industrial relation office and win the case in November, company pay me losses equivalent to 6 months pay. my wife work also not smooth, on May, she met with accident (3 days after i was terminated). her car was bang from the back by a container lorry, her car overturned several times, the car nearly need to claim total loss, it was a new 8 month old car. luckly she survived, suffering slip disk on the neck and other bruses and cut. so i can not consider the feng shui of the house is good. however before i move in, i did consult a "feng shui" master. i still doubt his ability. he recommended the stove position, bed position, altor position and also 6 coin in NW sector, and Mid sector. and wind chime at NE sector.
  16. Dear Keith, In my opinion, it "the bedroom above a garage" may not necessarily be the main cause of the problem. The rationale is that not looking at other diagnostic tools such asthe use of Flying Star Feng Shui etc... there are existing owners who do have a bedroom or even a master bedroom above a garage. Usually, the main reason why it is considered inauspicious has to do more with "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. For example, the main rationale, in addition to what you had mentioned, some people use another reasoning or both: what you had mentioned and also that in (the unlikely) event that the car at the porch catches fire, and the bedroom is directly above it. Thus, some feel that because of this rationale, it is inauspicious to have a car parked just below our bedroom. (Fire travels upwards). Personally, I feel there may be more issues, then the eye can see! Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Keith Bailey wrote: Help! 17. Dear Anon, Frankly, if you DIY one should preferably look at what are the combination of stars in each of the sectors even if the sector has #5:- For example, logically before jumping into conclusions, we need to really find out what is the current 20 Year Flying Star in a specific sector:- E.g. If South sector has #1 with #6 and base #8 . And if #5 fly's in no issue, here. For one, there is #6 = big metal etc... Sensibly just monitor the situation, first. I believe, this forum already has mentioned several types of cures relating to star #5. In terms of colours, try to avoid: BRIGHT YELLOW and if the room has a combination of #5 (earth = bad yellow) fuelled by #9 (fire = red). IF #9 and #5 appears in that sector, then also try to avoid: BRIGHT RED items or colours in that bedroom. P.S. Please - don't post your star numbers, here. Quote: Anonymous wrote: However, how about the fact that mydesk is in the South sector of the office, where the misfortune flying star 5 and the 3 killings reside in 2008? Incidentally, at home my bedroom is also in the South sector of my house. Therefore I am very concerned as I would be spending most of my time in the South sector in 2008.
  18. Dear Sophia, 1. To be honest, there are many "holes" in your questions. Or there are really limited information to providea good answer. 2a. This is because, in real life, when we provide professional advise, we have to analyse a home based not only only Shapes and Forms of the home, even where the drainage exits from a home. 2b. To other factors, like what Flying Star Period and even the direction of your home. Thus to give you a simple example, if one is staying in a Period 7, Flying Star; North-West home; the current water wealth star #8 is at the centrepoint of the home. And usually such a home has already "SMALL LUCK". 3. Even if one's Eight House prosperity sector is not in the toilet, but in a bedroom, already based on Para 2b, the home already have "SMALL LUCK". 4. Again, this reminds me of a recent sad case in the Singapore newspaper! Where the maid, accidently knocked (quite hard) a baby against the toilet bowl while bathing the baby! Later on.. I think the grand parent felt something wrong with the child.. sent the child to a hospital. Most likely the maid, too scared to say out.. may or may not have saved the child -- may be if they are aware of head injury.. the child could have been saved? 5. Thus, many of us, in real life.. read too many Feng Shui books or too many sites telling us to buy this product and that product!. (The people who benefit) are the sellers! And the silly fools just buy and buy the products.. the idea is "Fix the leak, first!" No point in pathing the home with gold and there is a leak somewhere in the home! Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Sophia Zsuzsana Zilahy wrote: My husband wans to purchase a home that in the prosperity section only the two bathrooms and toilets located. 19. Dear Aloysius, 1. In practise, taking a que from Management Principles: for those who had study or read management principles; just note the key word: 2. "Situational Approach" So what is this "situational approach?" : It simply means "Most of the time, no two situations are the same". 3. Look at it from another point of view (via Logic): "There is no RIGHT or WRONG answers"! 4. Flying Star Feng Shui comes in two forms:- "Horizontal Flying Star" and "Vertical Flying Star"! 4a. What is horizontal Flying star Feng Shui (or chart)? This is the common Flying Star chart where we either draw a pie or a grid method. 4b. What is vertical Flying star chart? This is more recent. And for those using this website's free Apartment or unit number input to check how auspicious your apartment is, then you have already used or tried out it out. Thus, what it implies is that even in a block of flat or apartment, qi is considered different at different floors or storeys. Thus, say an address: Block 56, unit #05-66 is said to have different qi from another unit in this same block. Thus unit #6-66 may have different qi although they are at the same block. 5. In the past, it is more common for a Feng Shui practitioner to evaluate bigger plot of land and if so, in general, a pie chart is the best choice in most circumstances, here. 5.1 Just think about it. Why call it "horizontal Flying star?"; thus the clue here is the larger the piece of land, the most convenient method to analyse MACRO Feng Shui is to use a pie chart. 5.2 Situational Approach If your unit is generally squarish in shape then, logically, a grid is easier ot use or analyse. And some Feng Shui books, prefer to drawgrids, as it is one of the easiest way to produce anddisemminate information! 6. In general, many of the Traditional Feng Shui practitioners use the pie chart. Again, logically, for drafting andproducing reports for our clients, a pie chartfits nearly all types of units orlanded homes or apartments. Here, one good thing about the pie is that we can immediatelyafter determining the centrepoint of the home or "center of gravity" and thenplace the entire layout. 7. Thus, as you can see in a REAL world environment where, for me, I have to work on lots of layout plans every day, it makes sense for me to use the pie. 8. Don'tget me wrong, here, Inever say grid is no good!Again, I emphasise that the few Traditional FS practitioners who do make an effort to give clients report after report, usually use the pie. For the above reason. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Aloysius Chia wrote: I would like to know in reading Flying Star Chart what method would be most accurate or rather easy to understanding as in 9 grid chart or the pie chart. 20. Dear Benny, 1. It is best to seek professional Feng Shui advice especially if one wants to utilise Feng Shui. 2. On a self-help basis: Usually, if possible, knowing whether one is an East or West Group can help. 3. Besides this, since the piece of land is from east to west, try to position critical areas such as bedrooms, living rooms or critical walls in any of such rooms within the "afternoon sun" or west. Imagine, working or sleeping in a west room .. especially even after 7pm if the wall of a bedroom faces the afternoon sun. It will literally soak in the heat! And subsequently release from the wall. Thus turning on a fan does not help. Unless one turns on aircon to cool down the place. 4. Often, in general, many people prefer a North-South home because only radiated light comes into the home. And such homes especially if bedrooms, living rooms are properly away from the influence of the morning sun and afternoon sun. 5. Thus for a east-west facing home, if we are not careful, in the morning, direct sunlight may come in and in the afternoon we face the dreaded afternoon sun! 6. For darker skinned persons, morning to afternoon sun although may be a concerned if exposed too much but for fair skinned persons, just imagine, your bedroom window is directly facing say the afternoon sun! For children, if we place their study table against the window, here, sometimes, even if we do use darker curtains, UV or ultra-violet light would still shine in! Some tinted windows even have zero UV protection! If the child is exposed too long to UV light.. one day.. we may see the child getting "darker.. and darker" i.e. suntan... ! Just carry on imagine.. more.. I d'ont need to further elaborate, further. 7. In addition, for a landed property, under the water dragon classics, a good Feng Shui practitioner can advise you where to "exit" the drainage for the home to maximise good Feng Shui qi! For example, usually every Feng Shui facing direction has three good qi sectors: 1. Great Wealth location 2. Great Power and authority 3. General overall luck and wealth Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: I have a piece of land 700m2 (18meters north to south and 39 meters east to west) in the middle of the ricefield in Bali. It has a road in front of it (west) that is the only access to the land. I intend to build the house facing east. What do you advice. My kua number is 3. In terms of location of rooms (4), kitchen, study, dining and living and pool. Thank You Benny
  21. Dear Anon, In a real world situation, lets be practical: in a human situation, there are two main parties involved: the Feng Shui practitioner and their clients. Thus, there will always be different situations: where a Feng Shui practitioner may either practise Feng Shui WITHOUT religion especially if the practitioner is a free-thinker or in the west, some practitioners some how or other may be e.g. a born Catholic or a taoist etc... Even if the practitioner is non "religious" but like you had mentioned, the client has a religion, a good Feng Shui practitioner has to provide advise to both non and religious clients. Especially if the clients "insists" or have an altar. Thus, we really live in a real world situation. If say the practitioner perhaps is non-religious or even if he is religious but does not mix the too, somehow.. the practitioner cannot simply tell the client : Hey! stop! No altar please! Does not make sense, here. The practitioner "earns his" pay from the client and not vice-versa! Logically, a "mountain" in a home is usually a "solid" wall or some good backing. So sensibly, thus the best locations for an altar is at a "mountain" location! and usually this mountain position may face a "water" position i.e. clear space - not literally actual water! Therefore, thru logic, especially for many older layouts of the HDB apartment units, many of the centrepoint is usually: 1. close to the centrepoint of the home; 2. this location directly faces the living room window And this location is one of the "cleanest" location in a small HDB apartment. Where it is taboo to place the altar with it's back to a toilet andalso it is not good to face the bedrooms. Therefore,if one analyse the above closely, one can understand, logically as what you had mentioned: "For example I came across that they place the alter at the mountain star 8 sector to represent big earth. Is it true that it has impact." After what I had mentioned, above, please draw your own conclusions, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Dear FS Master, Does applying flying star fengshui has a link to religion as some FS Master do look into consideration. For example I came across that they place the alter at the mountain star 8 sector to represent big earth. Is it true that it has impact.
  22. Dear Leigh, In my opinion, many traditional practitioners of Feng Shui strongly believe that we should not reverse the readings for the southern hemisphere. I am not going to comment on the use of the "fixed template" or the placement of a "fixed" bagua onto a layout plan as this is a modern invention. And not widely practised by Traditional School(s) of Feng Shui. The example of water draining out of the sink the opposite site which differs clockwise or anti-clockwise between the North and South hemispere is often used by those who reverse the readings. There are lots of arguments against this such as the Five Elements Concept: Metal - Water - Wood - Fire - Earth certainly does not have impact whether one is in the North or South hemisphere. Many other concepts in Feng Shui also are affected by this North-South .. thing. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Leigh Catt wrote: Could you please tell me how to place the Ba Gua over my house plans in the Southern Hemisphere? There seems to be so much debate over whether North and South are reversed etc. My main entrance is in North, so is my relationship area in South-West or South-East? Thankyou.
  23. Dear Michelle, In my opinion, this concern of mirror facing our bed is very interesting as there are two different view points, here: 1. It started with some Feng Shui books, commenting that when we sleep, these books mentioned that "our spirit" will float and if our bed is facing the mirror or a tv screen that has highly reflective glass.. our spirit will get a shock when it sees it's own image! Perhaps, the spirit froze to death? 2. Another side of the argument is that what happens if - indeed when we sleep, our spirit really float and sees itself in a mirror... Perhaps, it is a blessing in disguise as now this spirit, can personally look at his/her appearance to check whether he/she is good enough to wander off! ie. nicely combed hair etc... 3. We are on this earth for such a short period of our life! So, having TV set facing us is to many of us advantages, in that we have our personal space, comfortably seated in our bed viewing wonderful pictures on our TV set! 4. So, why, because someone says that is not good to have a TV (or mirror) face us and just because of this "silly" argument, deprive us of having a TV set in our bedroom much less have to cover it every now and then. 5. Millions people, right now (different cultures) like you and me have a TV set in our bedroom. To be frank, personally I also have a
  24. Dear Anon, Fundamentally, (or the good news) is that one should not be too concerned in your situation:- " Weshould not plan any renovations at these sectors and must try not to disturb these bad stars via renovations. " For info:- Grand Duke this year is North, 0 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is South. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. From the above, the good news is that South happens to have bad stars that if we do not do renovations, there.. no issue. Thus, it is still perfectly fine to face South. Try not to confuse South = location of conflict with Grand Duke. Thus as mentioned, above, South : just happens to be the conflict location, this year and avoid renovations at that spot is key to the issue. Since Grand Duke is at zero degrees north this year; especially for those sitting in a meeting room or doing sales; if possible try not to face North directly (again if possible). In fact, for you on the contrary, based on what you had mentioned, looks like you are facing South! Which is good as Tai Sui or Grand Duke of Jupiter is behind or supporting you at North! Hope the above clarifies your concern. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Should I be changing facing direction to avoid a bad star? Unfortunately the only other direction I can face is SW which is an unfavourable direction. So which is better? (a) Avoid facing South and risk facing an unfavourable direction; or (b) Continue to face South but risk the flying star 5 and 3 killings? What other cures can I put in place to protect myself in 2008?
  25. In an office environment; yes, there is distinction between using Kua (Gua) or the Eight House Theory vs Flying star (Compass relating ot the birth-chart of a location) Feng Shui - in short. 1. We should look at Kua numbers -- in short we should try to maximize our sitting position by : sitting facing our "Prosperity" sector. 2. In the following example, a person who has Kua type 7 - Dui:- In his4 Good and 4 Bad Directions North-West (Metal) Prosperity North (Water) Disaster North-East (Earth) Longevity West (Metal) Excellent Sample Gua analysis East (Wood) Death South-West (Earth) Health South (Fire) Spook South-East (Wood) Irritation HisBEST sleeping position Between: North-East (22.5 to 67.4) = Longevity South-West (202.5 to 247.4) = Health HisBEST Working position Between: North-West (292.5 to 337.4) = Prosperity West (247.5 to 292.4) = Excellent 3. In the above example, if the person is doing business, try to position his work station or sit facing (if possible): 1st choice: North-West (292.5 to 337.4 degrees) which is his Prosperity sector. Next best choice is West facing. In general, it would be good or excellent if his office main door is facing "West" = his excellent sector. 4. Flying Star Feng Shui Both Kua (Gua) and Flying Star belongs to the Compass School Feng Shui. As mentioned under Para 1 and examples given under Para 1 to 3; Kua is simply finding our "dd-mm-yy" birthdate to determine our kua. Thus is it "personalised" to an individual. Flying Star Feng Shui is used to analyse "qi" of a particular location. Such as an office. And each individual sector(s). 5. In simplicity, one can say that as (for e.g.) if a person is a West Group person; does not automatically mean that he or she should sit in the office at NW or West or NE or SW sector. BUT, no matter where he/she sits, (if possible - or nice ot have) try to seat facing his/her "Prosperity" sector. The rationale is because, we have yet, to determine which sectors in a specific office have good qi vs other sectors. Thus, for those who are family with Flying Star Feng Shui, sectors that may have some of these examples may be bad sectors:- For example, you intend to sit at "SE" sector of a room or office, but it has nasty stars like: #3 (either mountain / base or water ) = in business means Lawsuits, disputes, quarrels. #5 misfortune/sickness = and if there is also #9, in this sector, further inflaming this bad sector. Thus a person sitting at such a sector - particularly the CEO would be plagued with "wealth loss" and if this sector also have #3, he not only have to content wth "weath loss" but also "lawsuits, quarrels, loss of contracts" etc.. Good Luck in your venture! Warmest Regards, Cecil Iam in the middle of a major office rennovation for my business and confused in trying to use Feng Shui. I am trying to understand where I should place my office and in which direction my desk should be facing. I am using the Kua Number and the Compass to determine if I made the right choice. Right now, I have chosen to put my office and desk on the SouthEastusing the compassbecause I heard it is good. However, if I use my Kua number 8, South East is not good. It should be Southwest.Hope you can clarify this. Perhaps I am mixing the purpose of the Kua Number and Compass? Many thanks in advance.
