  1. In Malaysia, devotes even allow these deities to possess their bodies. And many of these willing devout devotees actually after possession; literally try to mutilate their bodies / tongue etc.. A temple Master would often keep an eye on those possessed for fear of not the devotees; but that these devotees may even unwittingly harm near-by on-lookers. Quite scary...
  2. Scenic Sky garden which looks more like a toy set for a child.
  3. Where is the location of my level's central rubbish bin? A consultation is that there are not two bins: an additional bin for recycling..
  4. Case Study 1A: Not ideal if a common bin is beside the main door of an EC/condo or facing it's main door. 1. What is the tell tale sign that the unit does not have an internal rubbish bin? 1.1. Try to locate something similar to this in the service yard or kitchen of the unit: 2. If the above is not present in the unit. Most likely, there is a central rubbish bin at the common lobby of this block. 3. Else, the tell tale sign is shown in yellow:- 3.1. Yes, this unit does have a rubbish bin within it's own unit. 3.2. Many ECs and condos today do not have an internal rubbish bin in their unit. 3.2. If so, do find out. As most ECs/condos do not show their exact location in their Sales Brochure. 4.1 Even if the rubbish bin has a door, it is still not ideal under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Location of photos (above): Ecopolitan EC 4.2 May affect re-sale value. This is true if in the future, a potential buyer may themselves and/or bring along a geomancer to view the unit:- 5. Inconsiderate Neighbours? 5.1 For example, Neighbours continues to leave rubbish outside the bin area. 5.2 one cannot just stand around the bin area to "confront a neighbour doing so". Which may result in bad relations. 5.3. In Bellewaters EC, the central rubbish bins are less obvious. 5.3.1. As the developer placed a small bin icon discretely on the TOP-right corner of the bin door. 5.3.2. Harder to notice if one is not actively looking out for the location of a bin. Nevertheless, in a resale; most geomancers may actively take this into consideration. 5.3.3. In this new development, my client asked for a proper block layout plan: 5.3.4. In the above block layout, are you able to see the common rubbish bin next to stack #13’s main door? 5.3.5. Some Condos/ECs Plan their central rubbish bins at a corner of the block. For example, in the Westwood Residences EC, this can be found next to the emergency staircase. 5.3.6. However, no matter how; The Central rubbish bin may still be close-to a unit:- 5.3.7. Shown Block 184, stack 11-11 5.3.7.1. d’nest condo by CDL chose to concentrate two central rubbish bins tuck at a niche solely meant just for rubbish bin disposal. 5.3.8. Thus even if it has a recycle bin plus a common bin; this design is similar to many HDB developments. 5.3.9. In fact, my first encounter was The Sail at Marina by CDL; which also has two bins tucked at a niche way back when it first T.O.P. 6. The Hillion at Bukit Panjang’s central rubbish bin is at the lift lobby and next to a lift:- 6.1. The developer Sim Lian went one step further and took a leaf out of HDB’s central rubbish bin centre and placed one identical to each and every HDB with a foot assisted bin opening. 6.2. In addition, there is a small recess area + a drain for the Cleaners to wash these bins. 6.3. Practical refinement:- 6.4. This illustration shows the rubbish bin can be seen at the main entrance of stack #14 of The Criterion: 6.5. Here, some consider this also less than ideal. As it can be considered equally bad to have a main entrance facing a rubbish chute. An overzealous geomancer may also advice their clients to avoid purchasing such a resale unit in the near future. 6.6. Is there a difference between The Central rubbish bins at a condo vs that of a modern HDB flat? 6.7. HDB is generous to provide a special lobby for their rubbish bins as shown below. Each rubbish bin lobby also has a water pipe for the Cleaners to occasionally wash the entire area. 6.8. Lower floor area to make sure that water does not flow or flood the surrounding walkway. Case Study 1B: I have inconsiderate neighbours who frequently spill "liquid waste" (unintentionally or intentionally = not sure?) along the corridor right to the front of the common bin. 1. What happens if one has inconsiderate neighbours that not only stains the flooring with "liquid" waste? 2. Hopefully, this should not be a common occurrence..spilled waste... 3. If one has inconsiderate neigbhours and the bin is next to one's main door. 3.1. Cannot possible stand there the whole day to see who is the culprit. Plus.. may result in bad-blood. 3.2. Similarly, what happens if a neighbour simply places their rubbish on the floor? 3.2.1. An obstruction as well as an eye-sore. 4. Often, such events may lead to bad-blood between neighbours. 5. In conclusion, if the common bin is at the lobby, do this:-
  5. My first visit, today... lots more next few days and weeks... Pool tiles.... Colour... hmmm... Hard to see if there are algae growth in any with such coloured tiles . Cannot tell if there are algae growth on these tiles -:( Unfortunately, pay me also I won't want to swim in such a pool ... LOL More... Swamp....
  6. These are some considerations: 1. In Singapore, there are only a few thousand class A bungalow or class B semi-detached homes. 2. In the past in Singapore, a class A bungalow is at least 30,000 sq. feet in size or larger. While a class C semi-detached home can be around 6,000 sq feet or more. 3. Therefore in Thailand; if your current (semi-detached) home is at least that 6,000 sq feet and above; this is pretty reasonable. Why am I mentioning this? 3.1. Nowadays in Singapore, even for a semi-detached; homes are sometimes even less than 3,000 square feet. But developers take advantage of it by building that home up to 4 storeys high: a basement / 2nd storey / 3rd storey and an attic. 4. If your land is a large plot of land; then this is a good thing especially if your home is quite a distance away from the temple. 5. In fact, in the past and even present; many temples are suppose to be built on a plot with good Feng Shui. (Other than perhaps.. some unscrupulous sites only out to make money). 6. I have not seen your actual plot or surroundings thus unable to comment fully, here. 7. But I have a feeling that your home is also on a good Feng Shui plot. 8. Common sense: 8.1. Based on common sense: if one is unable to compare your existing home with another known home: how do you know whether the next home is better or worse than your current home? 8.2. For example: even if there is a temple next to your home but because your existing home still has good or excellent Feng Shui; isn't this better than changing to another home.. 8.2.1. And as I mentioned earlier: if the next home's Feng Shui is equal or better than this current one; then good to go for a move! 8.2.2. But if the next home's Feng Shui luck is below the existing or has very bad Feng Shui then.. .. 9. Usually, one can feel the effects within 6 months of the completion of the temple. Thus, perhaps; at this point; monitor the situation, closely. 10. Frankly, without much more details; it is difficult to comment on a few paragraphs of wordings.. P.S. Some homes have no impact with a temple beside it; while others fair badly...
  7. Frankly, without a photo; it is difficult to understand, better. This is because things like how far is the storm drain. Or that even there is a fish logo on e.g. the cover? of the drain? This fish logo if not visible from your home may not be an issue etc...
  8. Want a free cup of coffee? Even Starbucks maybe? Get this pattern for your car number plate!
  9. Seemingly innocent pointed roof-lines are potential poison arrow(s) if it is aimed towards a neighbour's opening
  10. Raised house number @ main gate pillar symbolising a raise or constant progress. Under symbolism; some feel placing the house number "raised-up" is considered an auspicious sign. As it is a sign of progress. This is still popular today
  11. Introduction: For brand new just launched developments, there is no physical site to visit the completed buildings and apartments. 1. The only thing we can do is to visit the show room (which often is close-by to the site) as well as obtain a sales brochure and see the mock-up of the development. As well as try to ask questions from the sales agent (if any). 1.1. We must still try to gather as much information as we can. 2. Summary of Case Studies in this article. If the information is overwhelming. Pick and choose selective articles... 1A & B: Common Rubbish Bin 2A & B: Interior unit Dry Walls 3: Fire at Heaven's Gate 4: Sha Qi or Poison Arrows from Club-house roof-lines 5: 3 Panel Sliding Doors at the Balcony 6: Drainage at the Balcony 7: Air-con Ledges 8: Mixed Developments + Cooling Towers 9: Termite infestations 10: Coffee-shop below or near to unit 11: Water tank at roof-top 12: Lamp Posts, Pillars, Tree Trunks 13: Spice Garden in an EC/condo 14: EC/condo Clubhouse 15A & B: Pneumatic Waste Collection System 16: Look closely at the development's scale model for clues 17: Buying a Mixed development apartment 18: Survey or study facilities surrounding the development 19: Pump Room below a unit 20: Seven Commandments of Stove Placement 21: Is there a potential poison arrow from the neighbours? 22: Should I be concerned with a near-by temple, church, mosque &/or elder care? 23: Is the compass marking on the Sales Brochure accurate? 24: Sites reserved for Schools? 25: Doors face each other? [Main Door/Bedrooms] 26: Unit numbers with 4, 44 or 444 Okay? 27: Stove or sink or WC at the Centre of the house? 3. It is always an excellent idea to spent some time to scrutinise a prospective sales brochure of our potential buy (purchase). 4. Recently, more and more clients have discovered to their shock (horror) that the least expected was the location of the central rubbish bin outside their unit. 5. A year ago; many had purchased a premium unit within the development .. and later shocked to learn that the central rubbish chute (for their entire floor) is just next to their main door! 6. Thus the morale of the story is to check first before signing on the dotted line. 7. In general, most developments have these:- 8.1. A central rubbish collection centre / rubbish bin collection point 8.2. Power Sub-station. Every development usually has one or more of these depending on the size of the development. 8.3. Design of club-house roof-lines / trellis / gazebo / pavilion. Are the designs a "threat" e.g. with spikes or like a razor's edge? Usually these are aimed towards lower storeys. 8.4. Any poison arrows in the form of a sharp corner of another block of neighbouring stack aimed towards one's balcony (hard to cure) or towards one's windows (if any) 8.5. Location of areas like BBQ pits and any impact e.g. the smell from these pits towards a unit.. especially low storeys such as #01 or #02 first or second storeys 8.6. Any tree trunk aimed towards a lower unit e.g. #01 or #02. Unfortunately it may be too late; especially if the development is under construction. 9. There are lots more considerations... 9.1. Do remember "Read in-between" the lines.. 10. [Below] More: A flow chart = general overview of what to look out for in a Sales Brochure.
  12. Block 115 unlike it's cousin blocks Block 111 and 113 is virtually 100 percent confidence that it's stacks face either N2 or S2. As N2 readings is determined as +3 degrees off True-north; and correspondingly the S2 readings is also +3 degrees off True-south direction. It is strongly recommended that after T.O.P. it is always prudent to go on-site to confirm the correct compass readings; not just for this development for all that one has a stake in. For now it is considered as N2:-
  13. Trilive Blocks 111 and 113 - determining the Flying Stars of the stacks/units. Based on the streetdirectory; my initial compass readings using a protractor is that although stacks in blocks 111 and 113 have N2 or S2 facing. It is best to do an on-site reading to confirm these. For example a mere 0.6 degrees to the left and the readings may change to a N1 or S2 facing, respectively.
  14. 1. Based on Shapes & Forms some conservative geomancers may ask their clients to avoid purchasing a unit supported directly by stilts. 2. Some geomancers even ask their clients not to purchase any stacks/units directly above these stilts. 2.1 The chief amounts this "fear" is that to some geomancers; because it symbolises possible weak structure; to them this is poor Feng Shui. 3. Perhaps, there is some truth as we never ever see these structures in an earthquake prone city or town. 4. So long as the building codes are up to specifications by the building authorities; under normal circumstances; one can expect an equally large percentage of geomancers saying that this is although a "thorn" but not the greatest critical concern. 4.1 As there are lots more other considerations besides this to assess a location / place. Thus "It Depends" applies.
  15. 1. Please refer to attachments: 1.1. Illustration 1: These pavilion roof-lines may be considered a poison arrow if it aims towards any unit's balcony or windows. Even the vertical support structures may be potential poison arrows (if any). 1.2 Illustration 2: Although the roofline of the roof terrace is no threat to it's surroundings. (Referring to the horizontal RED line). These clumps of bamboo trees are a sterling example of protection from poison arrows if any from such a roof-line threat.
  16. Part 4: The Alps Residences and Flying Stars Feng Shui In this development, majority of the stacks are suitable to the West Group persons. For example stacks NE1, NW1 & SW1 are more suitable to the West Group person. While stack SE1 is more suitable to a SE1 person. In general, the following stacks and their flying stars:- NW1 stacks = 01, 04, 05, 08, 31, 32, 35, 36, 38 & 39 SE1 stacks = 02, 03, 06, 07, 10, 30, 33, 34, 37 NE1 Stacks = 13, 14, 15, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 43, 44, 47 SW1 stacks = 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 There are several stacks such as Block 113 stack 41 which is not as clear-cut as above. For example stack 41 could even be a SW1 or a NE1 facing stack. Similarly stack 09, stack 12 needs further close-up look at each of these and some other stacks to decide on their actual facing direction. If not sure, best to wait till TOP.
  17. Under the above url; there are more Illustrations of the bell-curve. Simply, even in any development; there are stacks/units that are better or worse off then others...
  18. Jurong or Tampines better for us? Frankly, you are not the Queen of England who can afford to sleep in different bedrooms with her consort Prince Philip. LOL P.S. For privacy all illustrations have private info masked out totally
  19. Freehold. T.O.P. 2017. Period 8 Flying Star Feng Shui The Tembusu and "The forms (Shapes and Forms) in some instances prevail over the stars (Flying Stars) in this development" 1. The Tembusu @ Tampines with five blocks (2 larger and 3 smaller blocks). 2. Trilive which is equally a small development is just one site or rather a building (Fortune Park) away. 3. In this development the Flying Stars are either N2 or S2. Even though the compass bearings are 5 degrees off true North or South. 4. There is also a Multi-storey car park (HDB MSCP BLK 373A) covering approximately 2/3rds of the Northern stretch of The Tembusu. 5. As MSCPs are no higher than 6th storey; just be extra careful of standing inside a unit's opening such as a balcony seeing the roof lamp sliding into the unit. As this is considered as a Sha Qi or poison arrow. 6. It is much easier to neutralise such a poison arrow if it is a window opening vs the lamp post directly tangent to or in full alignment aimed towards especially the middle of a balcony. 7. All stacks in this development either face Flying Stars Period 8: N2 or S2 direction(s). 8. N2. Stacks/Units has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back" of the unit. Thus not as favourable as say the S2 facing stacks. 9. However, the saving grace for this development is that: some stacks of Blocks 107C and 107D face a pool of water. 10. Of course in theory, some would question why I mentioned Para 8 above and this contradicts above Para 9. 11. This is because of this motherhood statement:- "Forms prevails over the stars". 12. For example: even if say the South (S2) facing stacks are SUPPOSE to be better than North (N2) stacks; 12.1 But wait a moment... there is no real (YANG) water where S2 stacks are facing. 12.2 Furthermore, even though the roads are like water courses be it the service road of the development or the main road = Tampines Road; 12.3 However, based on Shapes and Forms (The Forms) even if the STARS (Flying stars are considered good); don't you agree that certain stacks facing the pool view (plus the MSCP car park is a distance away) is OVERALL better? 13. Thus in this development even if all stacks that are south facing S2 although enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars at their frontage may seem to be better. But this may not necessary be better than what I mentioned above Para 9. 14. The major concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck. 4. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred.
  20. Thank you for the information. What you are asking is beyond the scope of this forum.
