These are some of the considerations: 1. Even under the traditional Chinese zodiac sign; although Dog and rabbit are considered a good match, however, over time; it can be considered as a "dull match":- http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/areference/crbdo.htm 2. Based purely on the Chinese zodiac, most likely the "spark" or "romance" between the pair is.... 3. However, in modern times; there are other levels of considerations:- 3.1. Earth Luck or Feng Shui (involves things like plotting a flying star chart and disarming stars like #3 etc..) 3.2. Human or man luck factors: this includes your boss's current mindset; or sometimes your boss may have family problems or other personal matters; the business environment etc... 4. If you were in good talking terms with your boss in the past, perhaps, find the right time to speak to him on a "personal level" to find out more.

For majority of us; our birthdays are the days when we decided to come out naturally from hiding! Only a select few are every coaxed out of hiding!
-
Further to what I had mentioned, a proper Ba Zi analysis will be based on one's day of birth. Thus, in this example, 1 Jan 2011 is an earth element day. 2 Jan 2011 is a water element day. 3 Jan 2011 is a wood element day. 4 Jan 2011 is an earth element day. 5 Jan 2011 is a metal element day. 6 Jan 2011 is a metal element day. 7 Jan 2011 is a earth element day. In addition, every two hours: 11 to 1, 1 to 3, 3 to 5, 5 to 7, 7 to 9, 9 to 11 may influence a person's element not withstanding a person is a male or female. Thus, if a male is born say on 2 Jan 2011 and depending on his birth time; he may be a weak water element person or even a strong water element person. Therefore, you cannot justask the question: "Can someone conceive in 2012... and both parents areweak this or weak that sort of thing. Until the baby comes out of "hiding" or coaxed out of hiding; only then can one be 100 percent certain what element and strength that baby's element is.
-
In my opinion, I believe there is slight flaw in your argument. 1. You zoom in that the parents are weak metal Dog and weak water Horse. 2. Suddenly, you compare this with such a general senario: "a child born in 2012? 3. This should not be the case. This is like comparing the results found using an Hospital MRI scan vs an X-ray result. 4. Here, the detailed information e.g. being a weak metal Dog is akin tothe detailed result similar to the results found using the Hospital's MRI scan. 5. The year 2012 is similar to a chestx-ray : yielding general information. Such an x-ray info may work well with say looking at broken bones if any; but for body tissues; the most it can see is "dark tissues" or suspected TB case. 6. To be fair, if you need to compare it with the year; you should have to compare it witha day. 7. Thus, for example ifApril21, 2012 belongs to the weak watermale or perhaps weak or strong water female. 8. Even within the 2012; every day has it's own element. 9. If one conceives and goes for natural birth; then one is at the mercy of that specific day andalso gender consideration. A maleor female baby make make a difference in their birth element and even the time of birth can or could sway being say a weakwater person to a strong water person or vice-versa. 10.Even in acesarian birth; it also depends onthe doctor's availability;whether the operating theatre is available or not. Sometimes born between 11am to 12.59pm can be different from a person say born at 1pm to2.59pm sort of thing. 11. Therefore, cannot just look at year aloneto base a decision toconceive or what. Unfortunately for some; even if they try to conceive; hard-luck; either theman's pistol shoots dud rounds or the female's clock stopped working... 12. In Singapore, and many countries today; the government would be very thankful that the faster one produces (as many as possible)! Go ahead! Make the governmentvery proud! And at the same time; hopefully, filial piety.. befalls on the couple! Yeah!

1. These are the photos of the 10 Qing (Ching) Dynasty coins. 2.Other than coins with auspicious sounding wordings; the Qing Dynasty coinsare often used, today as symbolisms in Feng Shui. 3. This is because the Qing Dynasty is one of the longest dynasties in China, stretchingfrom the reign of Shun-chifrom 1644 AD to 1911 AD.This dynasty : outwit, outlastany other dynasties by a mile. 4. Often, under symbolism in Feng Shui; if you want to use such coins; try to choose coins from two of the longest lasting reigns that represents periods of prosperity such as Kang-shi or Chien-lung. For example in the 11th month of the 16th year of Chien-lung's reign 1752 AD he was just 41 years of age, Emperor Chien-lung celebrated his mother's 60th birthday. 5. Real or geniune coins belonging to such an era (various periods) arevery rare; today. Thus majority of the coins used in Feng Shui are non-originals; they are either made of bronze, brass or a combination of such metals. These are duplicate or simply called"fake' coins. 6. Depending on where one buys the coins and quantity or bybargaining; the price may range from Singapore $0.30 cents each to $0.60 cents per piece. 7. The wordings side is often known as the Yang side. Which has four Chinese mandarin characters. While the Yin side has two inscrpitions "or flower side".

A. COLOUR OF THE MAIN GATE:- 1. Frankly, in my opinion, in modern times; this type of thinking is like "stone age" ideas. 2. For sure, if you are living in Singapore, I can assure that I have literally walked thru so many various landed property estates: in the East, North-East, West, NW, Central/Southetc.. 3. I have yet to come across "multi" coloured in particular: the main gate. 4. I have yet to come across a blood or maroon red main gate nor a blue coloured one nor a bright yellow (unless it is a temple). B. COLOUR OF THE MAIN DOOR:- 5. However, for the main door, yes, colours are considered. 6. Many geomancers in Singapore; felt that Singapore island is in the "south" e.g. South or tip of once a member of West Malaysia. 7. Thus, here, it quite similar to your home facing south; geomancers thus say that a white or off-white main door is the "best" overall (general) colour. 8. In general; a wood door e.g. in any range of wood tones are fine. For example, if one stays in a condo; there were times where a subsidary proprietor (tenant) tired to change the colour or the door; but was told to replace back the same design main door. Thus, for condos; there is restriction. 9. Therefore, if the main door is of wood range e.g. maple wood colour, pine wood, teak wood, cherry wood, oak wood and other wood tones.. it is considered neutral. 9.1 On the practical side; such doors are easy to maintain; and the natural oil on our hands, will not do much 'damage" if any - constant usage of the door. Many of such doors can easily be re-oiled or varnished. 9.2 In the future, should one sell the home; a wooden door or main door would be neutral. Rather than a door painted in blue or yellow or red. Anyway, if stained or painted, can be repainted. White doors, often after a few months; marks or stains can be seen close to the door knob area. 10. Thus, if you not using bold colours like blue, red, yellow, green; then should plot out the Flying Star chart and check whether that sector is suitable or not. For example, if the sector has a Water Star #3; then best not to paint the main door GREEN.

These photos were taken a week before Chinese New Year (CNY) 2011... Range from: Buddha's Palm, Fuji apples with wordings on them; Fa Gao's etc...
-
-
-
Another Chinese New Year (CNY) is over... these are some of the photos of the Chinese produce meant either to be offered , prayed and eaten later .....
-
-
On one of the early mornings (still within the Chinese New Year - CNY) period; saw this uncle changing the offerings; i.e. replacing old Fa Gaos and fruits / tea cups with new ones... Did you see the large x2 Fa Gaos?

These pink pineapple flowers are not for human consumption. Unlike the regular pineapple we find in the stores... If it is not for human consumption? Then erh.. who is suppose to consume it? CLUE? It is an offering on the altar table. And pink colour is considered as very auspicious.... Furthermore, it is sold at $2.88/-... Sounds familiar? Well, most of the Feng Shui services fees end also with an 88!

Nowadays, even if one is considered rich; take the case of Michael Jackson; in my opinion; with his (past) high costs of living; money can easily go down the drain in just a matter of years, months or even days! So nowadays, even if one is rich or born with a silver spoon; this may not be enough! And how many people can say that they were born that way.. Many still need to work.. Because of this; the greater dependence of luck now comes from both Earth (Feng Shui) and Human (Man) Luck factors! Depending on individuals; these two type of luck may not also be of equal standing.. for all persons, all the time... Think of it like a ballon; one ball may expand, while the other may contract. For a super lucky guy, both balls may even blow sky high!

Further to what I had mentioned, do take note:- 1. In your case, do avoid having the altar sharing the same wall as the toilet (even if it is only) the basin.. 2. Do take note that the Guan Yin figurine is already seated on a lotus flower; then even if one purchase a single height altar; she (Guan Yin) is already elevated... only make sure that the ancestor tablet is placed lower than the "lotus flower" seat...

1. Frankly, it cannot be applied directly to just a NE or SW home! 2. In reality; there is no known scientfic fact or documentation anywhere currently to say that spirits or ghosts haunt only NE or SW homes! 3. For a very simple example: if a home is facing South; but it has a closet located at SW sector; and for some strange reasons; this is an old house; and coincidentally, all the Flying Star numbers at that sector is yin; then that sector is considered as too yin..... 4. We often hear... of "cold spots" and there my just be a cold spot in that closet. 5. Thus it is not right to generalise.. in this manner...
-
1. Frankly, there are sufficient cases on this subject. Go check out the most recent posting on the "altar". 2. It is not possible for me to answer each and every question on this subject. 3. The rulesets are similar in most cases. 4. In the past, I had also posted the ruleset for placement of the ancestor vs deity... 5. If one stands looking at an altar; the ancestor is always to the left while the deity is to the right. 6. Many altars that cater to both ancestor and deity already has two different heights built into them. Again. standing facing the altar: LEFT = ancestor etc... 7. Please go check out past forum postings...

Another method of "testing" to see if a tree trunk or lamp post or other tall thin objects may pose as a poison arrow... This is most effective for any threats at (or to the) ground level premises. It is also good as a secondary check for higher floors as we can move our neck and have a quick glance to see if it does pose a threat to higher floors. For higher floors, your method is good; but do remember to stand immediately at the middle of the window facing outwards.. In this case, it should be looking from "B" towards "A".
-
Frankly, as the photos are taken at a slant from the window(s) looking outwards, it is harder to visualise the "threats" if any. So far, please refer to this photo: 172.JPG; the white car if facing the small (winter) tree; in the future, this tree might pose a threat. Currently this tree is thin and nto so tall; in my opinion, it does not pose a threat. For a window; if there is indeed a threat; then a day curtain draped over the window is good enough...to act as a "screen"

These are some of the considerations:- 1. How many of us; during our school days, were "forced" to change our sitting (study positions) "yearly". 2. Come-on; are you implying that you will judiciously monitor "yearly" where Tai Sui is and request the person: male or female to change his table directions, again yearly? 3. If your intention is to change; just because you became interested in Fung Sway.. today.. What happens if you got tired of Fung Sway.. and venture into other areas.. would you still care to change your table direction. 4. Frankly, speaking, I can't even be bothered to review and or change my directions (yearly) as long as I own the same home.... 5. In your case, if you want an answer from me: the easiest recommendation is: to flip the coin: Heads or Tails, please.
