1. In my opinion, the best way to look at the qualities of the internal "air-flow or qi" of various landed properties is to visualise how qi may flow in and out of a home. 2.A terrace house only have two sides or "openings" e.g. the frontage side and the back of the home. The exception is a corner type of terrace house which have three sides. 3.Although a terrace house has only two "openings" i.e. front and back; but the advantage of such a layout is that depending on high and low pressure zones throught the day; much like a drinking straw; the fluid can flow from frontage out to the back or vice-versa. Thus, more likely (other than the layout plan) there is LESS likely of stagnant qi collected in this house. 4. In the quad-joined semi-detached home; although it also has two sides or OPENINGS... but the difference or disadvantage is thateach of the openings are unlike those of the terrace where it id directlyon opposite sides. 5. Here, for this quad-joined semi-detached home;(depending on theinterior layout); if you see the attachment; there is a higher chance that there will always be pockets of STAGNANT Qi. 6. As qi or air won't or can't flow thru to the other side; since it is blocked by the common wall on all four sides of the home. Refer to QI FLOW ILLUSTRATION3.GIF 7.Of course, if one turns onthe aircon daily or blow air via fan to the area marked "A" under QIFLOW ILLUSTRATION3.gif then this is no issue. But come-on; will do do this everyhour? 8. Thusin addition the interior layout has to be further investigated. For example usually a toilet should best share an external wall. And ithas to compete with "living" space. It aint sound to have a toiletwithoutsay any ventliation at all. Unless via air-well sort of thing. 9. Therefore, the quad-joined semi-detach home's stagnant qi would very much depend on the architecture and how much help it can give or rathereven make it worse off! 10. Yeap, good luck in such a home! One needs lots of it... Just imagine... "stagnant" qi is the best way to understand this type of layout erh.. FLOW of air.. be it good or not so good. 11. I would still prefer the traditional terrace house "openings" better!

Thanks for trying to post..But it is ambiguous. From your Key guideline on the far right it seems to show that your cluster him is marking "B". But your arrow points to marking "A". When I try to match the key guideline to the arrow sign; it stops short of marking "A". Furthermore, assuming that if your home is marking B; nearly half the information is missing. P.S. In my opinion, the term cluster housing refers more to townhouses like Summer Gardens @ Jalan Chempaka Kuning; where thefront row of townhouses are not joined to the back. This is cluster housing. In my opinion, based onwhat you had mentioned all four units are joined together; this should be called: Duplex homes if two are joined together and Quad-Duplex where all four share the same common wall. One example is the Bungalow atThe Meyer Place where the bungalow was converted into four houses in a Quad-duplex arrangement.
-
Further to what I had mentioned; the Meyer Place conservation bungalow is a TRUE quad-duplex bungalow that houses 4 distinct homes: two on the ground level and two on the 2nd floor = 4 x homes.

This is a duplicate post. Have also removed several duplicates. Frankly, as mentioned in my first message; only you can understand what you wrote. How about many of us? No photos etc...
-
These are some of the considerations:- 1. Frankly, there is a limitation to having only text descripition. Our local slang calls it "Catch no ball"... or simply "Lia Bo Qu" or cannot understand. 2. Unless you are prepared to upload picture.. else only you yourself can comprehen your writing.. 3. I alway say this: get a on-site consultation based on the "Can or cannot buy" service of any geomancer. This is the most productive and practical way to understand an otherwise: text description only sort of thing.
-
Look at it this way: 1. Pretend that you are now in the 1970's 2. You engaged a "Geomancer" for your home. 3. The geomancer's key suggestion to you is"Both of you lack metal or rather needs more metal!" 4.Since you are the driving force behind the concern: "YOUR FACE LIGHTED UP LIKE A CHRISMAS TREE!' 5.Wow : This Geomancer founda SOLUTION forME!(While that one I searched and found in the internet in the 2011's couldn't offfer me a solution!) 6. Since many of us dwell with HUMAN factors or FEEL good factors; instead of sulking after reading the "negatives"; you place lots of metal.. 7. And LIKE all the fairy tale story's : BOTH OF YOU LIVE HAPPILY THERE AFTER! 8. How about that! One up for HUMAN or MAN LUCK factor! Heck with all the today's Fung Sway complications like: #8 = current prosperity; Mountain stars; Water stars; #5 = misfortune, sickness; #3 = quarrels, conflicts, lawsuits etc.... GOT IT, GET IT?

Three corners of the Pacific plate already have massive earthquakes; and San Francisco happens to the last corner of the Pacific plate. San Francisco's last major earthquake was in 1906. San Francisco's next big one is long overdue.... let's hope; it is not around the corner

SOURCE & CREDIT: TODAY, FRIDAY MARCH 18, 2011 LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION; TO DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS' Quote: "Several factors have not become more clearly noticeable than before in a home buyer's deciion - the product's concept, the scarcity of the property and the opportunity to beneift from owning the property" An excellent commentary on the decisions people make when buying a property in Singapore!
-
Further to what I mentioned; In the past, around the 1970's and 1980's; Feng Shui was not as sophisticated as today; Feng Shui practitioners could easily pass-off the concept that say; since this chap lacks wood; that fella would happily make his home full of "wood". Today, this may be challenged by Feng Shui smart clients!

1. Yes, there is a limitation to how much one can squeeze out of Heaven Luck. 2. On the Earth luck side; frankly, if your home were those with "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui. If so; as the word suggests; it is in excess of all the Heaven Luck that one could get or ever squeeze out and even more. 3. To find out what is Quantum Leap; do a Search for this term. 4. Frankly, Feng Shui is a wide field. And it starts from the simple 3 L's: location, location and location. These three L's is really the major key success-factor in making, breaking or even having a Quantum Leap. 5. What you are trying to squeeze out from your statement is : within the four walls of your home. 6. If you seem to want to do DIY Feng Shui; then; you may have to apply Shapes and Forms plus the Two major Compass School Feng Shui theories into your home. 7. Please note that what you are mentioning in all your statements are : You, her, both partners = trying to squeeze out luck from the bazi elements or colours. 8. But do you know that; yes, both partners have your DD/MM/YY and even HHMM. 9. But, you can't just eat and sleep based only on your DD/MM/YY and even HHMM. 10. Do take note that you have not even considered: the Feng Shui aspect. For example one Feng Shui aspect relates to the Flying Star Feng Shui. 11. For example; every home or apartment MUST fall within or onto one of the 15 directions. Of course, there is the bad luck homes that fall in-between. That is another sad story. 12. You only considered your birthdates. Flying Star Feng Shui also is based on the birthdate of the home. For example; a home can even have a birthdate ofT.O.P. in 2004! 13. Thus, you can't just use tunnel vision and think otherwise or in isolation that just because both of you need metal or lots of it; the home may need it also. 14. However, in some instances; metal element may be needed in a Flying Star sector; but not all sectors could benefit by metal. 15. Thus, unfortunately, your idea of squeezing out luck is flawed.Just imagine; what you had written below is like both of you own and share a car. BUT WAIT! You don't own the road! You can't just drive thru a RED LIGHT. You still have to OBEY the traffic lights. 16. Here, the traffic lights are like the Flying Star variable. Please think about it, please.
-
In GENERAL (using the eye-ball method - quick visual look only):- 1. Without considering other factors: position marking in RED "A" should be the better choice. While marking "B" is/could/may bethe next best choice. There are other limited choices but these two are often considered asthe better ones:- 2. Provided, there is no beam above marking A. Or marking A area is shared with the shoe cabinet;etc... 3. While marking in PURPLE "C" is out because it is sharing the same wall as the toilet. Thus for this layout, quite limited in the areas to place an altar.
-
Further to what I had mentioned; 1. If your photo does show that it was taken from inside the main door looking out; so far, there does not seem to be any threat - in that photo. So, in my opinion; so far, no need a bagua mirror to be hang say above the door. (Anyway, the photo is angled to the floor: can't see higher to make further comments). 2. If this photo is not taken inside the main door looking out... then there is "educational" value in this photo. 3. The attached illustration: shows that if a proper photo has to be taken; it should be standing say inside the main door looking out or standing inside the window of a home looking outwards...
-
Thanks for the photo. But most likely you may have mis-interpreted what I had wanted. As seriously; this photo showing the side of the drive-way is of no value; at all.
-
Please refer to my very first reply. Go get yourself a geomancer to look at it. Why get a geomancer? One can't just write loads of text and hope that someone else can understand what you are saying... Frankly, your all text postings are ambigious and subject to the DANGER of mis-interpretation. Furthermore, there are no photos etc.. Thus who knows what the "buddha" statue may look like. Thus, since you are so overly concerned about the issue, go get a geomancer, please. Posting such things here in an all text format is like the BLIND, leading the BLIND.

A buddha figurine is always a benign figure. Calm and composed not threatening. Making your case of a neighbour's home's buddha seem like a pussy cat! Take a look at the pictures! There is a huge buddha and some of the residents say "thankfully" it is guarding their apartment located in Block 82, CityLights condo; Jellicoe Road. You mean, tit-for-tat? That means, the few hundred over residents in each of the apartment will mimick your idea of placing a buddha statue to counter it? Frankly, it ain't no altar or meant for prayers' please. So what is the real threat? As mentioned, I have seen lots of westerners in Singapore and in the region; purchasing many buddha head and placing them all over their home. So, is this a threat?
-
Look at it this way: you have an altar and a Taoist diety statue. This implies that you are "praying". However, there are many (many) who place a buddha statue but this is NOT an ALTAR? Many place a buddha statue or buddha statues as decorative items. And so far, how often does one see someone praying to the buddha statue. Unfortunately, if you really want to know why the neighbour placed a buddha statue at their balcony; you have to face up and see whether you dare to approach or not. There are lots of people who place a buddha statue everyone. In their garden, in the roof top garden etc... Frankly, you ask me also no use. If you want to place a buddha figurine just because the Jones place one.. really it is your call. Overall, to many it is simply a "decorative" item... and it ain't no altar of sorts...

1. Frankly, look at it this way; just look around your home. 2. For example, no home unless it is a sterlie home can claim that it has "few colours". 3. For those with a family e.g. husband and wife and a kid or child; would see a myraid of colours in the home! 4. This is same as a career! 5. In the past; we may relatively say that a butcher is a butcher. And a soldier a soldier. 6. Nowadays, e.g. in a so called 3G army in Singapore; you even see soldiers flying those unmanned plane. 7. Thus, why limit to tunnel vision? Or one size fits all sort of thing? 8. Can't a career be or have multi-elements? 9. Thus; in fact, you may ask 10 Fung Sway experts; and each will give you different answers! 10. In the realistic world (not a theoritical world); jewellery making boilds down to two elements:- 11. The Industry she is in = METAL element 12. While as a jewellery MAKER; the interface to create = Fire as fire needs to melt the jewellery. 13. If sheis just part of the productionprocess; then one has to use the Management studies term; under the topic Strategic Management:- 14. Thus, her career is: INDUSTRY = METAL PRODUCING A WORK = FIRE (HER TOOL) 15.But think again; if she is a designer of an art-work; thus give her some metal e.g. be it gold or purple gold etc. and she comes up with a beautiful work of ART? Why can't I call her a creator of an artwork. And under the Five elements concept = WOOD. 16. Frankly, there isno right or wrong answers, (Please). And neither one or theother expert isabsolutely right or wrong! It is how her career has being interpretted! 17. Given that there can be a loose interpretation of her career? 18. Don't you thinkthat it would be wonderful if someone says "I have the passion" for Jewellery making (careless of what others interpret for ME?). 19. Realistically, if one wakes up and don't feel like going to work everyday.. careless if that job specsis suited to my ba zi? 20. If I am now in Tokyo pondering over this..I would instead quickly like others take aflight back to Singapore! At least, I am doing something productive in my life.. Instead of trying to find the "right answer".Really unproductive...

I must say having seen many of Mary Porta's documentary show on reviving high street shops in UK; must say she is really fantastic! In my opinion; one of the very best trouble-shooter around...(in the field of marketing management!) around! Wow! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Portas http://www.maryportas.com/ http://tv.blinkx.com/show/mary-queen-of-shops/5AregBjvs9214pbx P.S. The morale of the story? Feng Shui is not a cure-all! For all business ailments! Take her cue!

Frankly, try to make an effort to do a Search. In fact, these resources have just been posted recently:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29335&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29137&new= I am sure, at least; it is more useful than regurgitating the eight house reports of the two of you in this forum.....

These are some of the considerations: 1. Are you able to like... forget ever seeing all the resources on your career choice? 2. And since you are a recent graduate; most important follow your passion? 3. Do take note that in the past a butcher is a butcher; a merchant is a merchant. 4. Today, jobs can be classified into multi-levels:- 4.1. For example: one level is the industry one is in. 4.2. The next level is one's main job function. 5. Thus, an example is although teaching belongs to the wood element; perhaps; one could be teaching one of the disciplines relating to say earth and/or marketing. 6. If your specialization is non-of-the above under Para 5; then my suggestion to you is forget that you have ever seen or read anything relating to this subject. Thus, please GOTO Para 1, above!

This muslim shrine is behind a row of shop-house in the Tanjong Pagar area. Wow! This muslim shrine is there since 1891. And engraved are the words "Shrine of Sharifah Rogayah". And it looks like it has been taken care of! And someone or a group of persons still pay their respects as flowers still line the tomb... A search in the internet yield some resources and one of the several links shows:- http://www.spi.com.sg/spi_files/sharifah_rogayah_shrine/main00.htm
