The Chinese luck system is based on three factors: Heaven, Earth, and Human Luck. Whether a red wallet is suitable depends on considering all three of these factors together. According to the Five Elements concept, it is generally acceptable for someone with a strong Earth element to use the color red.

While going thru your recent property review (only pics??) I google the project andfound something interesting while looking at the sitemap of The Quartz. The shape of the project reminds me of a fish...with blk 63 the "Fish head" and ending at blk 51 with "The tail". The development at the side of blk 61 n 59 looks like the fin. Aka "Koi" With more water at the nearby Punggol park wat implication does it offer to the resident of The Quartz?? Or does it not? Maybe the developer purposely design it to look like this to compliment the huge water element at Punggol park. Related:

Yes Master, I agree with your statements, I know many Fukienese in our place which were much, say, laid back than us of Cantonese descent...as they are more versatile in business. The HSBC Tower designed by I.M. Pei, for me isn't really blending with HK skyline...many people protested its construction...say the architects name and the building itself has ominous overtones. I also hear of mirror and ba-gua wars in HK and Guangdong. I also consider myself obsessed with Feng shui, as in taking it literally and with caution. Thanks Master for the time...looking forward to be enlightened again.

Dear Danni, Is there a cure for sick houses? 1. It depends on how much renovation has taken place. 2. Since I don’t have a complete picture of the changes from the original layout, it’s hard to say if there’s a cure. 3. In my grandpa’s case, the only solution was to tear down the house and rebuild it. 4. From your description of major work done on the ground level, it might be a similar situation—especially if the top part of the house was changed, made too heavy, or disturbed. 5. My grandpa’s experience clearly shows that “Flying Star” or “Compass School” Feng Shui would not be effective in such cases. 6. For those who rely only on Compass…

Thanks Cecil, I am a bit relieved because I have a 5-2.4in my east sector of the building which encompasses most of my unit. I was worried about health problems. The stars in the unit itself seem quite good. Thank you again. You are so kind. Bill

Dear Anon, Apologies, as I do not give the idea of spending too much time replying to this question. But I forgot to mentioned an important point. If this is modern practise especially by Western practitioners who may not be too familiar with the Double Happiness symbol, it would be best, at least, if one display the symbol of a heart to (instead display DOUBLE Hearts) i.e. One heart can be placed overlap (half-way) over the other heart. Like the equivalent of the Double Happiness symbol, at least `LOVE' should come in a pair. I wonder, if some unfortunate souls, could have just placed a single heart and symbolically .. imply.. a lonely heart. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I've checked the Earth % in my and my husband's bazhi. It is 12% and 8% respectively - quite little. In that case, going into a bakery business may be considered OK right? It is still best to go with the favourable elements you lack first, rather than unfavourable elements that you lack. As you still need to have your favourable elements before you can benefit from adding more Earth element. So even though your earth element is generally lacking, you can still consider bakery business, but this would also mean that you need to ensure that your house or other areas in your life belongs your favourable element…

Dear Nansi, The key to understanding this is based on the following:- Grand Duke does not like to be:- 1. Disturbed. Here one should not do construction work at the location. This includes repairs and renovations. 2. Touched. Here, this would imply that painting is consider `touching' him. So, based on the second point, please don't paint the walls on the East. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Saturday, April 10, 1999 10:17 PM Subject: Re: More Grand Duke questions

Dear Kieron, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Saturday, May 01, 1999 7:27 AM Subject: Re: ba gua and pa-kua Let me clarify:- 1. As you have determined the centre of the room, all you need to do is to note the North to South alignment of the house. 2. Here, if you have the Eight House Template Superimpose it on the layout plan. There are lots of examples of how the Eight House Template is superimposed on the layout of your house at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house2.htm I suggest you go through this module or http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm first. 3. In a small home, y…

Dear Bill, If your local book store does not have the books, you can order it from Amazon.com. (Alternatively you should be able to purchase it from other major cyberbook stores e.g. Barnesandnobles.com. Books by Raymond Lo:- 1. Feng-shui and Destiny by Raymond Lo. I think this is one of his first books. I call it a "classic book" because it is clearly written and in general gives you a basic understanding of all well known Compass School methods of Feng Shui. Such as the Eight House Theory, a short write-up of Pilalrs of Destiny and a " dab " of the use of Flying Star Theory and the use of the three coin method in I-Ching divinity. Other of his books 2. Feng Shui and Des…

Ok, I divided the two shapes into two rectangles, the other one being the bedroom. Doing this, the southwest corner of the main room becomes the bathroom and the southwest corner of the bedroom is a built-in closet. That doesn't help my marriage prospects because then I flush my prospects away and I keep far too many memories. How do I enhance the relationships area of my life given these two placements? I was born in 65 so my auspicious directions are NE, NW, SW and W. I am also thinking of moving the mirror to the dining room. Would that be ok? I really appreciate the help you've given me. Gloria

Note: Yes, Spencer; please do use the 8 sector measurement for Yang (for the living). As mentioned earlier, this has been used as early as the Sung Imperial carpenters to built furniture/doors etc... for their emperors. Cecil Hi Cecil Thank you so much for a very informative session. I have came across two other writers who mentioned that the 8 sectors measurement being used for all measurements. Nothing was distinguished between Yin and Yang measurements or 8 or 10 sector measurements. So that makes 3 of you. Then i came to another writer who stated that the 8 sectors are meant for external measurements such as fences, gates (not tombs). And the 10 sector measurements a…
