Bedok Residences Condo - Which units are lucky today?
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
Photo of the dining pavilion with the BBQ area arranged like a maze. It appears that the roof of the pavilion is made of individual planks, and these planks point towards a unit on the second storey. This could become a potential poison arrow directed at the windows or balcony of a unit, most likely the balcony area of Block 22, stack 21. For the windows, you could install curtains or blinds, although for stack 21, this may not be necessary since the planks do not seem to extend towards the bedrooms. If the poison arrow is aimed at the balcony, it’s not practical to keep the balcony windows shut and the curtains or blinds drawn all the time. One solution at the balcony may be to install an external blind. -
Bedok Residences Condo: Clubhouse and Barbeque Pit (Barbeque Pit Maze) There are many factors to consider when choosing an apartment. These days, some of the most important considerations include: 1. If the unit does not have an indoor rubbish chute, check where the central rubbish chute is located. 1.1. Some new developments now offer two types of rubbish chutes: one for general waste and one for recycling. 2. There was a recent case where someone bought a “premium” unit and later found a rubbish chute right next to their main entrance door. 2.1. Even if this isn’t poor in terms of Shapes and Forms, it can still impact the future resale value of the home. 3. Other things to consider include where the afternoon sun falls, Eight House or Flying Stars suitability for the breadwinner, and related factors. 4. For low-floor units, especially those on the 1st to 3rd storey, be aware of sharp roofs from clubhouses or function rooms. These create sha qi, which can be difficult to fix. It’s not possible to completely shield the frontage of the flat. 5. Don’t overlook the location of the barbeque pit. Imagine on a Friday evening, weekend, or public holiday when the smell of barbequing can reach your unit. 6. Consider if the unit is located near or facing the guardhouse, drop-off point, or vehicle entry/exit ramps. 7. Also check if the unit is near or facing the central rubbish bin centre or transformer room. These are just some important points to keep in mind.

The major sales exercise was in May 2016. As such there is no further added value or the need to do further reviews by ranking since it should be nearly fully booked. -

Tan Swie Hian Museum @ Sims Avenue This is a small museum. And this place seems run-down... Furthermore, one no longer can find it marked on any of the Singapore streetmaps such as onemap or streetdirectory.com.

No. Anyway Block B was never a shaxqi to Block A from the start.

1. Situational Approach The unit you mentioned as "X" on the surface looks rectangular. Thus based on this link; "It depends!". As you have voiced concern over the block; similarly an ultra conservative geomancer may also share the same views. This is because less likely, that it has seems not to have a proper or rather imbalanced air-flow around this block. Which in essence is inauspicious. The jagged edges of Block B facing the open car-park is considered a Sha Qi or poison arrows. And it is not good to be a neighbour so close to it. As I mentioned, it depends because, one has to take into consideration factors like:- a. How suitable is this home to the breadwinner + various locations of areas like where are the toilets / kitchen = stove vs sink, bedroom sectors etc.. b. Mapping out the Flying Stars of the unit. In addition other factors include things like Para 2. to 5. In order to make a proper assessment of the unit in Block B. 2. Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. 3. The Concept of Maximizing Marks Hopefully from a FAIL to a PASS or better! Other concepts 4. Fix-the-Leak, First! Easily three or more major problems. 5. The Concept of Maximizing Marks Hopefully from a FAIL to a PASS or better!

Although spiral staircases are not elderly or child friendly, but it is the most efficient for a tight space. Thus, it is fine if it is meant as a secondary emergency staircase in lieu of a lift. Photos: HDB Toa Payoh Central

Feng Shui of HDB Hougang Crimson BTO launched in May 2013
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
A huge surprise when a People's Association community centre next to HDB Hougang Crimson was turned into mostly a food centre. If one is near-by eg. Hougang One Shopping complex; may consider going for lunch at this food court... Collection machine is pretty advanced. See last photo. -

Forest Woods Residences Condo by CDL and Flying Star Feng Shui The remaining stacks fall under the East group. For N3 stacks—32, 33, 39, 42, 43, and 44—the double auspicious #8 stars are found at the back of the unit, which makes these stacks less favorable. S3 stacks—34, 35, 36, 40, 41, and 46—are generally the best options for East group individuals. Here, the frontage enjoys double auspicious #8 wealth stars, and these units also face water, which is believed to attract great wealth. 1. Attached is a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. Do note that an S2 chart is similar to an S3 chart, except that the directions in the chart need to be tilted 15 degrees to 195 degrees instead of the original 180 degrees. 2. In the attachment, the [8] & [8] stars at the frontage represent prosperity and wealth. In comparison, for an N3 facing unit, these good stars end up at the rear, which is usually where the kitchen or yard is, so their benefits are not fully enjoyed. 3. One point to watch out for with S3 facing units is that the kitchen is often located in the NW sector. In Feng Shui, this is known as “Fire at Heaven’s Gate” and may have a negative impact on the male breadwinner’s career luck. 4. Because of this, for a south-facing (S3) unit, it is better to choose one where the kitchen is located in the north or northeast sector.
