  1. A triage is important to find out the root cause of the problem. Then, apply the fix or cure(s)...
  2. Can a fridge face a stove? YES/ NO/ MAYBE? IT DEPENDS! If the fridge does not have a water dispenser at it's frontage. It is perfectly OK to have the fridge (being considered as Metal element) face the stove. If the fridge has a water dispenser; then it is best not to face a stove. If the fridge is not exactly a fridge but is a wine cooler which has see through glass panels at the frontage. And if wines are placed inside this wine cooler; then it is bestthat this wine cooler DO NOT face the stove.
  3. Frankly, this has more to do with common sense than Feng Shui....
  4. External Shapes and Forms is about the study of the surrounding environment. Often, some homes have different shapes than others. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, we have to identify what kind of element our neighbour's home are. For example in this illustration: the owner's home is often considered as an earth home. And it's immediate neighbour's is a FIRE element.
  5. These are some considerations: 1. You wrote: What color refractive glass will be the best for all round health, wealth and prosperity? 1.1. It would be certainly nice if the refractive glass can represent everything that you had written under Para 1. How nice right? 1.2. There are three methods: 1.2.1. Make a guess 2. If Feng Shui is to be applied: The Flying star numbers are identified for that area and studied upon. 3. In addition, under Shapes and Forms, one has to look at the surrounding neighbourhood and check what forms neighbour's home are e.g. Water element or Earth etc... 4. In your current state: You have to depend on 1.2.1. As Para 2 and 3 are unknown, here.
  6. This is a Stage 1 planning for the allocation of function groups for a large MNC in Singapore. Each sector of the building has been reviewed for the "best fit": Key functions are located at strategic good Feng Shui sectors. While not so good sectors are relegated to either back room or technical areas. All these are part and parcel of a geomancer's work.
  7. 1. Today, it takes more than 3 or more hours to work out an interior layout. 2. Even for a brand new, just TOPcondominium unit; there are still lots of Feng Shui & Ba Zi considerations.
  8. This is the 1st Stage review and recommendations before architect works provide proposals to fine tune the interior of the home.
  9. Feng Shui and 1997 case: the first Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic @ a local hospital
  10. Waterway Terraces @Punggol / Punggol Walk (premium flats) is a unique HDB estate that uses the "six" sided Hexagon profile: 5 of the sides is forms the outline while the "missing" six side opens towards "My waterway @Punggol". To be exact, this estate has TWO near complete Hexagons with the inner stacks facing the open space/children's playground, adult fitness area. Such designs were last seen in the past around the 1970's to 1980's. One advantage is that within just this estate, nearly all the flying star facing directions. Expect residents to have varying qi flow and thus varying luck to bad luck - depending on where your stack is located Such a design had been experimented in ancient China. Where an entire clan had housed it's members in such type of courtyard.
  11. Install invisible grille + casement windows + open and close the windows daily = hairless hands!
  12. There is another aspect to consider when installing grilles. For example, if a home uses sliding windows, then (in theory) it is preferred that the grilles are horizontal with minimal vertical support pieces. This is because, it would allow the sliding window(s) to be quickly (slide) opened or closed. Imagine, if sliding windows were used and grilles are vertical, it makes it very difficult to open or close the windows. In my opinion, such invisible grilles are unfriendly if casement windows are/were installed. This is because, for casement windows, our hand(s) have to stretch out to open partially or fully opened. In doing so, for most of us our (skin would scrape) the wire grille. AND in no time, especially for us man, it would result in having the hairs on our hands being scraped away. This may be good for a girl. But for us man, some may think that we are either hairless or mistaken otherwise....
  13. Pardon me for the rough sketch. It shows a child with his full body weight with both hands handing on the thin wire. And he placed his head between two wires. Do note: 1. Of course, the manufacture or installer will always claim that it is safe. 2. Like everything, there is the "wear and tear" part. Where if a child were to frequently play or swing himself on the wires. 3. It also depends on the length of the grille. The longer the horizontal length, the greater is the concern of it flexing more. 4. Sunlight. As the wires are made of some kind of metal, there can be expansion through the years especially if the unit directly faces the afternoon sun.
  14. Invisible grilles are pliablewires that are strung along windows either horizontal or vertical. How often we see a young child or several children hang onto a line or such a wire. In the long term, e.g. as this apartment has windows that are west facing, there may be frequent expansion and contraction of these wire lines. (Wear and tear). And if children were to frequently play on these wires; one day the wire(s) may be more and more pliable. And if the wires are hung horizontally, one day, an unfortunate child's head may just get stuck in between a set of the wires = suffocation. Placing these wires vertical is harder. As a child cannot use his whole body weight to "loosen / cure" the wires as much as one which hangs on to the wire causing it to warp significantly (after some time). Hope you can visualise what I am saying. This is pure common sense.
  15. 1. Usual centrepoint is at marking in red "B". 2. SOME geomancers, use the method as shown in the attachment and figure out the centrepoint is at "A". 3. Finding the centrepoint is about finding the centre of gravity of the home. 4. The LAST method is to photo-copy a copy of the layout plan, cut out the outline and paste it on a card-board and try to balance a pin to find the centre-of-gravity. 5. HOWEVER, not much information provided as to what is the terrace about? If the terrace is an open space then technically should not consider the terrace. 6. In addition, there is another method: "eye-ball" method where one visualise the protrusion and try to guage the total area of the protrusion is roughly equally to the missing area to get the centre-of-gravity. If so, it is between marking A and B. (If you want to find out more.. then use the search feature to understand it and apply to the layout plan). I hope this is the last on this thread.

  23. Unlike the study of biology; where our heart is suppose to be or that each of us are suppose to have two kidneys; In the art of Feng Shui, the heart can be at our feet, while the mouth can be at our head!
  24. 1. As mentioned, previously, you are not alone. With a home where a car or two cars need to be parked in the compound. 2. Don't be too transfixed into a "problem" that practically be solved. It can be solved, make the cars disappear from the compound. 3. If there is "no cure" to an imaginery problem or a real problem. No point banging one's head on a pillar. 4. If one really feels that it cannot be solved; and want to improve luck or check for problems then:- The Concept of Maximizing Marks I am sure, one a person's life; as a student, we were taught techniques in answering e.g. 3 out of 10 questions. etc... 5. There is no point in pressing for a solution to such a (you feel that there is a problem). 6. You will be surprised that sometimes, if there is truly a problem; there could be even greater leaks or problems somewhere else in the home.
