Here are some points to consider: 1. In Singapore, there are only a few thousand class A bungalows and class B semi-detached homes. 2. A class A bungalow in Singapore is usually at least 30,000 square feet. A class C semi-detached home is typically around 6,000 square feet or more. 3. In Thailand, having a semi-detached home that is 6,000 square feet or larger is already considered very good. Why is this important? 3.1. Right now in Singapore, many semi-detached homes are smaller than 3,000 square feet. Developers often try to make up for this by building up to four levels, including a basement, upper floors, and an attic. 4. Having a large piece of land is a big advantage, especially if your home is located far from a temple. 5. Many temples are built on land with good Feng Shui, but some are placed on less ideal land mainly to generate income. 6. Since I have not seen your home or the surrounding area, I am not able to give a complete opinion. 7. I believe your home is on land with good Feng Shui. 8. Here are some simple things to keep in mind: 8.1. If you cannot compare your current home to another one, you will not be able to tell if the next home is better or worse. 8.2. Even if there is a temple nearby, if your current home has good Feng Shui, it is generally better to stay. 8.2.1. If the next home has Feng Shui that is as good as, or better than, your current home, then moving can be considered. 8.2.2. However, if the next home has poorer Feng Shui, you should think carefully before deciding to move. 9. Any effects from a new temple usually become noticeable within six months after it is built. It is good to observe what happens during this period. 10. Without more detailed information, it is difficult to provide a full assessment.

Frankly, without a photo; it is difficult to understand, better. This is because things like how far is the storm drain. Or that even there is a fish logo on e.g. the cover? of the drain? This fish logo if not visible from your home may not be an issue etc...

Raised house number @ main gate pillar symbolising a raise or constant progress. Under symbolism; some feel placing the house number "raised-up" is considered an auspicious sign. As it is a sign of progress. This is still popular today

Introduction: For brand new just launched developments, there is no physical site to visit the completed buildings and apartments. 1. The only thing we can do is to visit the show room (which often is close-by to the site) as well as obtain a sales brochure and see the mock-up of the development. As well as try to ask questions from the sales agent (if any). 1.1. We must still try to gather as much information as we can. 2. Summary of Case Studies in this article. If the information is overwhelming. Pick and choose selective articles... 1A & B: Common Rubbish Bin 2A & B: Interior unit Dry Walls 3: Fire at Heaven's Gate 4: Sha Qi or Poison Arrows from Club-house roof-lines 5: 3 Panel Sliding Doors at the Balcony 6: Drainage at the Balcony 7: Air-con Ledges 8: Mixed Developments + Cooling Towers 9: Termite infestations 10: Coffee-shop below or near to unit 11: Water tank at roof-top 12: Lamp Posts, Pillars, Tree Trunks 13: Spice Garden in an EC/condo 14: EC/condo Clubhouse 15A & B: Pneumatic Waste Collection System 16: Look closely at the development's scale model for clues 17: Buying a Mixed development apartment 18: Survey or study facilities surrounding the development 19: Pump Room below a unit 20: Seven Commandments of Stove Placement 21: Is there a potential poison arrow from the neighbours? 22: Should I be concerned with a near-by temple, church, mosque &/or elder care? 23: Is the compass marking on the Sales Brochure accurate? 24: Sites reserved for Schools? 25: Doors face each other? [Main Door/Bedrooms] 26: Unit numbers with 4, 44 or 444 Okay? 27: Stove or sink or WC at the Centre of the house? 3. It is always an excellent idea to spent some time to scrutinise a prospective sales brochure of our potential buy (purchase). 4. Recently, more and more clients have discovered to their shock (horror) that the least expected was the location of the central rubbish bin outside their unit. 5. A year ago; many had purchased a premium unit within the development .. and later shocked to learn that the central rubbish chute (for their entire floor) is just next to their main door! 6. Thus the morale of the story is to check first before signing on the dotted line. 7. In general, most developments have these:- 8.1. A central rubbish collection centre / rubbish bin collection point 8.2. Power Sub-station. Every development usually has one or more of these depending on the size of the development. 8.3. Design of club-house roof-lines / trellis / gazebo / pavilion. Are the designs a "threat" e.g. with spikes or like a razor's edge? Usually these are aimed towards lower storeys. 8.4. Any poison arrows in the form of a sharp corner of another block of neighbouring stack aimed towards one's balcony (hard to cure) or towards one's windows (if any) 8.5. Location of areas like BBQ pits and any impact e.g. the smell from these pits towards a unit.. especially low storeys such as #01 or #02 first or second storeys 8.6. Any tree trunk aimed towards a lower unit e.g. #01 or #02. Unfortunately it may be too late; especially if the development is under construction. 9. There are lots more considerations... 9.1. Do remember "Read in-between" the lines.. 10. [Below] More: A flow chart = general overview of what to look out for in a Sales Brochure.

Block 115 unlike it's cousin blocks Block 111 and 113 is virtually 100 percent confidence that it's stacks face either N2 or S2. As N2 readings is determined as +3 degrees off True-north; and correspondingly the S2 readings is also +3 degrees off True-south direction. It is strongly recommended that after T.O.P. it is always prudent to go on-site to confirm the correct compass readings; not just for this development for all that one has a stake in. For now it is considered as N2:-

Trilive Blocks 111 and 113 - determining the Flying Stars of the stacks/units. Based on the streetdirectory; my initial compass readings using a protractor is that although stacks in blocks 111 and 113 have N2 or S2 facing. It is best to do an on-site reading to confirm these. For example a mere 0.6 degrees to the left and the readings may change to a N1 or S2 facing, respectively.

1. Based on Shapes & Forms some conservative geomancers may ask their clients to avoid purchasing a unit supported directly by stilts. 2. Some geomancers even ask their clients not to purchase any stacks/units directly above these stilts. 2.1 The chief amounts this "fear" is that to some geomancers; because it symbolises possible weak structure; to them this is poor Feng Shui. 3. Perhaps, there is some truth as we never ever see these structures in an earthquake prone city or town. 4. So long as the building codes are up to specifications by the building authorities; under normal circumstances; one can expect an equally large percentage of geomancers saying that this is although a "thorn" but not the greatest critical concern. 4.1 As there are lots more other considerations besides this to assess a location / place. Thus "It Depends" applies.

1. Please refer to attachments: 1.1. Illustration 1: These pavilion roof-lines may be considered a poison arrow if it aims towards any unit's balcony or windows. Even the vertical support structures may be potential poison arrows (if any). 1.2 Illustration 2: Although the roofline of the roof terrace is no threat to it's surroundings. (Referring to the horizontal RED line). These clumps of bamboo trees are a sterling example of protection from poison arrows if any from such a roof-line threat.

Part 4: The Alps Residences and Flying Stars Feng Shui In this development, majority of the stacks are suitable to the West Group persons. For example stacks NE1, NW1 & SW1 are more suitable to the West Group person. While stack SE1 is more suitable to a SE1 person. In general, the following stacks and their flying stars:- NW1 stacks = 01, 04, 05, 08, 31, 32, 35, 36, 38 & 39 SE1 stacks = 02, 03, 06, 07, 10, 30, 33, 34, 37 NE1 Stacks = 13, 14, 15, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 43, 44, 47 SW1 stacks = 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 There are several stacks such as Block 113 stack 41 which is not as clear-cut as above. For example stack 41 could even be a SW1 or a NE1 facing stack. Similarly stack 09, stack 12 needs further close-up look at each of these and some other stacks to decide on their actual facing direction. If not sure, best to wait till TOP.

Freehold. T.O.P. 2017. Period 8 Flying Star Feng Shui. At The Tembusu, the way the buildings and spaces are designed can sometimes have a bigger impact on Feng Shui than the Flying Stars system itself. 1. The Tembusu @ Tampines consists of five blocks in total, with two larger buildings and three smaller ones. 2. Trilive, which is also a relatively small development, is just one plot away and is separated from The Tembusu only by Fortune Park. 3. In this project, the Flying Star orientations are either N2 or S2, but they are slightly off—about 5 degrees away from true North or true South. 4. On the northern side of The Tembusu, there is a multi-storey car park (HDB MSCP BLK 373A) that covers roughly two-thirds of that boundary. 5. Because these car parks are no taller than six storeys, residents should be mindful if their balcony or any opening directly faces a roof lamp, as this can create Sha Qi, or harmful energy. 6. It is usually easier to address this issue when the lamp is seen from a window, compared to when the light shines directly toward the center of a balcony. 7. All stacks in this development face either an N2 or S2 direction based on the Flying Stars system for Period 8. 8. For N2-facing stacks, the double lucky #8 stars fall at the back of the unit, which generally makes them less desirable than S2-facing stacks. 9. However, one of the main plus points of this project is that some stacks in Blocks 107C and 107D enjoy a pool view. 10. So, some people may wonder why N2 stacks are seen as less favorable, even though they may have attractive features like a water view. 11. This is where the Feng Shui saying comes in: “Forms are more important than stars.” 12. For instance, even though S2-facing stacks are usually considered better than N2-facing stacks, 12.1 there is no actual body of water directly in front of the S2 stacks, 12.2 and while the internal roads of the project and Tampines Road behave somewhat like water, 12.3 when we look closely at the layout, a unit facing the pool (with the car park further away) is likely to enjoy better Feng Shui. 13. So, even though all S2-facing stacks have double lucky #8 wealth stars at the front, this may still not be as favorable as having the water view mentioned in point 9. 14. A major concern for S2-facing units is that the kitchen often falls in the northwest sector of the home, which Feng Shui describes as “Fire at Heaven’s Gate.” This can affect the main male breadwinner’s career luck. 15. Therefore, for a south-facing (S2) unit, it is better to choose one where the kitchen is located in the north or northeast part of the home.
