  1. This question is similar to the concept found under this recent reply:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=24209&new= Quote: Katrina L. wrote: Hello Master Lee, For 2009, the West is afflicted with the flying star #2 sickness star. My bedroom is located in the East. When I lay down in bed, my head is pointed to the West because it's a good direction for me. Upon reading your response to a related post, you said that when it comes to flying stars, the focus should be the location of the flying stars and not the facing direction. In that case, is it still okay for me that when I am in bed, that my head is pointed towards the West even with the #2 flying star in the West?
  2. 1. Please check out this link (3 of 3 articles and graphics) on the rationale of having a certain number of mirrors:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=29&mid=10857&new= 2. Please note that having say one piece or three piece(s) of mirror are considere "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". Quote: Hella R. wrote: Hi! I recently started to redecorate our house, and try to go after the feng shui guidelines. My front door face north-east, and the wall next the door is east. I thought I want to put a nice mirror there, but I didn't had enough money for the one I really wanted, so my friends suggested the tile mirrors, which sounded good. I thought I can get creative. I got 15 1 foot by 1 foot mirrors, to make a design on the wall. It turned out to be nice, the mirrors are about a quarter inch apart from each other going from the baseboard and ending a little bit after the middle of the wall. My question is that I read that the mirror should be one piece. Can I fix it somehow without remove the mirrors from the wall? If I need to remove it I have to fix the whole wall. Thank you very much. 3. As mentioned earlier, it is nice to use a one piece or say 3 piece mirror. And your tiled mirror(s) are considered "not-so-nice" but it does not warrant for them to be removed since you had already installed it (them).
  3. 1. Under the Eight House (East/West Group) the best that can be done, here is:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on 2. Otherwise, leave it. As under Eight House concept, there is very limited "cure" for this concept. A holistic approach to Feng Shui is different, it looks into this concept, plus Flying Star, plus Shapes and Forms of the bedroom.
  4. Quote: Aloysius C. wrote: I uses to face WEST direction in my work place which is my ShengChi direction. But this year STAR 2 the illnes star is in WEST direction can I still continue to face WEST or should I change direction to face SouthWest where STAR 6 located. From what I read, your work place seems to in a specific room or location. But if you are in the same location (no change), then flying star should be considered in that sector. And not where you face. For example, if you are seating in the West sector, and you can move to the South-West sector, then fine; you can actually if possible, still sit at SW facing West. It is not like "West is the #2 sector". And that one should not face #2. It is about which sector you are in. Don't misinterpret the same senario as Tai Sui or grand duke. Flying Star is about the sector that one is located in (your office).
  5. 1.Since, things went smoothly, you can either monitor the situation as often: "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" applies! 2. Although you had drawn a layout plan, for a proper analysis, often, the person's birthday, compass directions are often looked into. Thus, what you had provided is limited information. 3. Since you do not have your own office (room) or cubicle, it is much harder for any changes if any. Thus it is best that you monitor your situation, first. Quote: Stacey L. wrote: Hi Mr Lee, I am in the financial advisory business and my office is located at gateway west. SInce we moved from Parkview square at north bridge road, business went down alot so I read up on fengshui and approached some shops at FuLuShuo for advice. I applied the Bagua chart for my own desk as I do not have my own office or cubicle. I have attached the picture for your reference.I would like to know if anything needs to be changed as it's another year. For me business went quite smoothly after I applied these items. Please kindly advice, If you do need to take a look at the place what will be the charge. I am really concerned about success in business this 2009.
  6. Photos were split up into two separate links so as not to overload the server downloading the files
  7. HDB Bedok Central Blocks: 219A-D, 220A-C, 221A-C Another rare cluster of HDB flats in the Bedok Central mature estate. These flats were built on a vast area of ground level carparks converted into apartment blocks cum car-parks. TOP was sometime late last year: 2008. This plot of land is very close to all the amenties in Bedok Central including supermarkets, markets, swimming pool, MRT line runs along the main road. (One of the picture has the mrt line ...)
  8. 1. Frankly, there are so many resources on the compass, in this forum. 2. It starts from what type of compass are the best e.g. suunto compass and how to (and other compass properly). 3. A search in this forum will also have articles on how to find the centrepoint of a home, how to superimpose a compass chart on it etc..... Try to use your fingers to do the walking..... SEARCH
  9. 1. In general, it is not so good to have a water feature at NW sector unless one can confirm or use Flying Star Feng Shui and so happens that the water star #8 could be at this location. 2. Otherwise, it is still not the best location - based purely on very general Feng Shui (Five elements) concept.
  10. Pictures show a sha qi (poison arrow) of a curved road aimed towards the frontage of a terrace house. To reduce the impact of the sha qi (poison arrow), the home was designed such that the main entrance door is away from this direct poison arrow. (Please see picture[s] ) And also, the windows facing this curved road is higher and smaller than normal.

  12. 1. Many homes have a false partition in the living room. 2. Often these partition are made of light-weight materials such as gypsum board. 3. In Feng Shui, such "beams" are often a non-issue. Rather, it is more of an "eye-sore" for some people. As they wrongly perceive that such a partition looks more like a "beam"; say when they sit directly below this "beam" in the living room sofa. Please refer to this attachment:beam-above-living-room-sofa-set-1.jpg 4. As mentioned, it is more of an illusiion, rather than a real concern in Feng Shui. But, if we continue to get feedback e.g. visitors to our home, family members or relatives frequently commenting that it is "no-good" or inauspicious, we may feel very uncomfortable with it. 5. Interestingly, there are many ways of avoiding it. One way is not to have a false ceiling! Another method can be seen in this picture:- beam-above-living-room-sofa-set.jpg 6. The above is a unique way to solve the problem. As the false ceiling extends well beyond one's sitting area "all flat".

  14. 1. What has this article: Monsoon Winds got to do with Feng Shui (installation of a partition). 2. Many homes install a partition so that the main door does not directly face a window or a balcony opening. 3. But does it matter whether the partition is a FIXED partition or one of those panels - often it comes in three or four panels? These three or four panels are usually placed in V shaped so that they can "stand-up". 4. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui says that:- 4.1. At times when it can be windy in a home, it may be a safety concern with such "moveable" partitions. It may become a "danger" to family members. As such moveable partitions (unlike fixed ones) may be blown down by the wind. And may inadvertently hurt especially the young, the aged and even healthy adults! So remember, place a partition if you want, but do remember that moveable ones.. may pose a danger to you and your family members!
  15. Picture taken in November 2007, Shanghai, village outskirts. Do you know that all "genuine" Chinese pagodas must be odd numbers (odd numbers of levels & roof). Odd numbers represents yang. While even numbers represent yin. Thus, all pagodas, depending on how high or how many levels must either be: 3, 5, 7, 9 .... levels.
